1:1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
1:1 Phao-loâ vaø Ti-moâ-theâ, toâi tôù cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, gôûi cho heát thaûy caùc thaùnh ñoà trong Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, ôû thaønh Phi líp, cuøng cho caùc giaùm muïc vaø caùc chaáp söï:
1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:2 nguyeàn xin anh em ñöôïc aân ñieån vaø söï bình an ban cho bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Cha chuùng ta vaø bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ!
1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
1:3 Moãi khi toâi nhôù ñeán anh em, thì caûm taï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi,
1:4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
1:4 vaø moãi khi caàu nguyeän, toâi haèng caàu cho heát thaûy anh em caùch hôùn hôû,
1:5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
1:5 vì côù töø buoåi ban ñaàu cho ñeán baây giôø, anh em ñaõ ñöôïc thoâng coâng trong söï taán tôùi cuûa ñaïo Tin Laønh;
1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
1:6 toâi tin chaéc raèng Ñaáng ñaõ khôûi laøm vieäc laønh trong anh em, seõ laøm troïn heát cho ñeán ngaøy cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ.
1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, all of you all are partakers of my grace.
1:7 Toâi nghó ñeán heát thaûy anh em döôøng aáy, laø phaûi laém; vì anh em ôû trong loøng toâi, daàu trong voøng xieàng xích toâi, hoaëc trong khi binh vöïc vaø laøm chöùng ñaïo Tin Laønh, thì anh em cuõng coù döï phaàn aân ñieån ñaõ ban cho toâi.
1:8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
1:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng chöùng raèng: toâi laáy loøng yeâu daáu cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ vaø tríu meán anh em.
1:9 And this I pray, that your love (o. agape) may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
1:9 Laïi, ñieàu toâi xin trong khi caàu nguyeän, aáy laø loøng yeâu thöông cuûa anh em caøng ngaøy caøng chan chöùa hôn, trong söï thoâng bieát vaø söï suy hieåu,
1:10 That all of you may approve things that are excellent; that all of you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.
1:10 ñeå nghieäm thöû nhöõng söï toát laønh hôn, haàu cho anh em ñöôïc tinh saïch khoâng choã traùch ñöôïc, cho ñeán ngaøy Ñaáng Christ,
1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
1:11 ñöôïc ñaày traùi coâng bình ñeán bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, laøm cho saùng danh vaø khen ngôïi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.
1:12 But I would all of you should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
1:12 Hôõi anh em, toâi muoán anh em bieát raèng ñieàu xaûy ñeán cho toâi ñaõ giuùp theâm söï taán tôùi cho ñaïo Tin Laønh,
1:13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;
1:13 ñeán noãi choán coâng ñöôøng vaø caùc nôi khaùc ñeàu roõ toâi vì Ñaáng Christ maø chòu xieàng xích.
1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word (o. logos) without fear.
1:14 Phaàn nhieàu trong anh em nhôn toâi bò xieàng xích maø coù loøng tin raát lôùn trong Ñaáng Christ, daùm truyeàn ñaïo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaúng sôï haõi gì.
1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
1:15 Thaät coù moät ñoâi ngöôøi vì loøng ganh tò vaø caõi laãy maø rao truyeàn Ñaáng Christ, nhöng cuõng coù keû laáy yù toát maø rao truyeàn.
1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
1:16 Nhöõng ngöôøi naày laøm bôûi loøng yeâu meán, bieát raèng: toâi ñöôïc laäp neân ñeå binh vöïc ñaïo Tin Laønh.
1:17 But the other of love, (o. agape) knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
1:17 Coøn nhöõng ngöôøi kia, vì yù phe ñaõng xui giuïc, coù loøng rao truyeàn Ñaáng Christ caùch khoâng ngay thaät, töôûng theâm khoå naõo cho söï xieàng xích toâi.
1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
1:18 Song coù heà gì! Daãu theá naøo ñi nöõa, hoaëc laøm boä, hoaëc thaät thaø, Ñaáng Christ cuõng ñöôïc rao truyeàn; aáy vì ñoù toâi ñöông möøng rôõ, vaø seõ coøn möøng rôõ nöõa.
1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit (o. pneuma) of Jesus Christ,
1:19 Vì toâi bieát raèng nhôø anh em caàu nguyeän, vaø nhôø Thaùnh Linh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ giuùp ñôõ, thì ñieàu naày seõ trôû laøm ích cho söï roãi toâi.
1:20 According to my earn expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
1:20 Toâi coù loøng troâng caäy chaéc chaén naày, vieäc chi toâi cuõng chaúng hoå theïn caû, nhöng bao giôø cuõng theá, toâi noùi caùch töï do moïi beà, nhö vaäy, daàu toâi soáng hay cheát, Ñaáng Christ seõ ñöôïc caû saùng trong mình toâi.
1:21 In order to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
1:21 Vì Ñaáng Christ laø söï soáng cuûa toâi, vaø söï cheát laø ñieàu ích lôïi cho toâi vaäy.
1:22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I know not.
1:22 Ví thöû toâi cöù soáng trong xaùc thòt, laø ích lôïi cho coâng khoù toâi, thì toâi chaúng bieát neân löïa ñieàu chi.
1:23 For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
1:23 Toâi bò eùp giöõa hai beà muoán ñi ôû vôùi Ñaáng Christ, laø ñieàu raát toát hôn;
1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more necessary for you.
1:24 nhöng toâi cöù ôû trong xaùc thòt, aáy laø söï caàn hôn cho anh em.
1:25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
1:25 Trong söï tin chaéc ñoù, toâi bieát raèng toâi seõ cöù coøn laïi vaø ôû vôùi heát thaûy anh em, ñeå giuùp ñöùc tin anh em ñöôïc taán tôùi vaø vui veû;
1:26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
1:26 haàu cho khi toâi laïi ñeán cuøng anh em, anh em seõ nhôn toâi maø coù nhieàu cöù khoe mình luoân trong Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ.
1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becomes the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that all of you stand fast in one spirit, (o. pneuma) with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
1:27 Duy anh em phaûi aên ôû moät caùch xöùng ñaùng vôùi ñaïo Tin Laønh cuûa Ñaáng Christ, ñeå hoaëc khi ñeán thaêm anh em, hoaëc khi vaéng maët, toâi cuõng bieát raèng anh em moät loøng ñöùng vöõng, ñoàng taâm choáng cöï vì ñöùc tin cuûa ñaïo Tin Laønh, phaøm söï chaúng ñeå cho keû thuø nghòch ngaêm doïa mình;
1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
1:28 ñieàu ñoù laø moät chöùng nghieäm chuùng noù phaûi hö maát, coøn anh em ñöôïc cöùu roãi; vaø aáy laø töø nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi,
1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
1:29 Ngaøi nhôn Ñaáng Christ, ban ôn cho anh em, khoâng nhöõng tin Ñaáng Christ maø thoâi, laïi phaûi chòu khoå vì Ngaøi nöõa,
1:30 Having the same conflict which all of you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
1:30 laø phaûi chòu cuøng moät cuoäc chieán tranh nhö anh em ñaõ thaáy ôû nôi toâi vaø hieän nay coøn nghe noùi coù nôi toâi.
2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, (o. agape) if any fellowship of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) if any bowels and mercies,
2:1 Vaäy neáu trong Ñaáng Christ coù ñieàu yeân uûi naøo, neáu vì loøng yeâu thöông coù ñieàu cöùu giuùp naøo, neáu coù söï thoâng coâng nôi Thaùnh Linh, neáu coù loøng yeâu meán vaø loøng thöông xoùt,
2:2 Fulfill all of you my joy, that all of you be likeminded, having the same love, (o. agape) being of one accord, of one mind.
2:2 thì anh em haõy hieäp yù vôùi nhau, ñoàng tình yeâu thöông, ñoàng taâm, ñoàng tö töôûng maø laøm cho toâi vui möøng troïn veïn.
2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
2:3 Chôù laøm söï chi vì loøng tranh caïnh hoaëc vì hö vinh, nhöng haõy khieâm nhöôøng, coi ngöôøi khaùc nhö toân troïng hôn mình.
2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
2:4 Moãi ngöôøi trong anh em chôù chaêm veà lôïi rieâng mình, nhöng phaûi chaêm veà lôïi keû khaùc nöõa.
2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
2:5 Haõy coù ñoàng moät taâm tình nhö Ñaáng Christ ñaõ coù,
2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
2:6 Ngaøi voán coù hình Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, song chaúng coi söï bình ñaúng mình vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø söï neân naém giöõ;
2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
2:7 chính Ngaøi ñaõ töï boû mình ñi, laáy hình toâi tôù vaø trôû neân gioáng nhö loaøi ngöôøi;
2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
2:8 Ngaøi ñaõ hieän ra nhö moät ngöôøi, töï haï mình xuoáng, vaâng phuïc cho ñeán cheát, thaäm chí cheát treân caây thaäp töï.
2:9 Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
2:9 Cuõng vì ñoù neân Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ ñem Ngaøi leân raát cao, vaø ban cho Ngaøi danh treân heát moïi danh,
2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
2:10 haàu cho nghe ñeán danh Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, moïi ñaàu goái treân trôøi, döôùi ñaát, beân döôùi ñaát, thaûy ñeàu quì xuoáng,
2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
2:11 vaø moïi löôõi thaûy ñeàu xöng Jeâsus Christ laø Chuùa, maø toân vinh Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Cha.
2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as all of you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
2:12 Aáy vaäy, hôõi nhöõng keû raát yeâu daáu cuûa toâi, nhö anh em ñaõ vaâng lôøi luoân luoân, chaúng nhöõng khi toâi coù maët maø thoâi, laïi baây giôø laø luùc toâi vaéng maët, haõy cuøng hôn nöõa, maø laáy loøng sôï seät run raåy laøm neân söï cöùu chuoäc mình.
2:13 For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
2:13 Vì aáy chính Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caûm ñoäng loøng anh em vöøa muoán vöøa laøm theo yù toát Ngaøi.
2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
2:14 Phaøm laøm vieäc gì chôù neân laèm baèm vaø löôõng löï,
2:15 That all of you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom all of you shine as lights in the world;
2:15 haàu cho anh em ôû giöõa doøng doõi hung aùc ngang nghòch, ñöôïc neân con caùi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khoâng vít, khoâng tì, khoâng choã traùch ñöôïc, laïi giöõa doøng doõi ñoù, giöõ laáy ñaïo söï soáng, chieáu saùng nhö ñuoác trong theá gian;
2:16 Holding forth the word (o. logos) of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
2:16 cho ñeán noãi tôùi ngaøy cuûa Ñaáng Christ, toâi coù theå khoe mình raèng chaúng ñaõ chaïy voâ ích vaø khoù nhoïc luoáng coâng.
2:17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
2:17 Ví daàu huyeát toâi phaûi duøng ñeå töôùi treân cuûa teá leã vaø cuûa daâng ñöùc tin anh em toâi cuõng vui loøng, laïi ñoàng vui vôùi anh em heát thaûy.
2:18 For the same cause also do all of you joy, and rejoice with me.
2:18 anh em cuõng vaäy, haõy vui loøng veà ñieàu ñoù, vaø haõy cuøng vui vôùi toâi.
2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
2:19 Vaû, toâi mong raèng nhôø ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, kíp sai Ti-moâ-theâ ñeán cuøng anh em, ñeå tôùi phieân toâi, toâi nghe tin anh em, maø ñöôïc yeân loøng.
2:20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
2:20 Thaät vaäy, toâi khoâng coù ai nhö ngöôøi ñoàng tình vôùi toâi ñeå thaät loøng lo veà vieäc anh em:
2:21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.
2:21 ai naáy ñeàu tìm lôïi rieâng cuûa mình, chôù khoâng tìm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ.
2:22 But all of you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.
2:22 Nhöng anh em ñaõ bieát söï trung tín töøng traûi cuûa ngöôøi; vaø bieát ngöôøi laø trung thaønh vôùi toâi veà vieäc Tin Laønh, nhö con ôû vôùi cha vaäy.
2:23 Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
2:23 Neân mong sai ngöôøi ñeán nôi anh em lieàn, vöøa khi toâi seõ roõ söï tình toâi ra theå naøo;
2:24 But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.
2:24 toâi laïi coù loøng troâng caäy naày trong Chuùa, laø chính mình toâi khoâng bao laâu seõ ñeán.
2:25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
2:25 trong khi chôø ñôïi, toâi töôûng caàn phaûi sai Eùp-ba-phoâ-ñích, anh em toâi, baïn cuøng laøm vieäc vaø cuøng chieán traän vôùi toâi, ñeán cuøng anh em, ngöôøi cuõng laø uûy vieân cuûa anh em ôû keà toâi, ñaëng cung caáp moïi söï caàn duøng cho toâi vaäy.
2:26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that all of you had heard that he had been sick.
2:26 Vì ngöôøi raát öôùc ao thaáy anh em heát thaûy, vaø ñaõ lo veà anh em nghe mình bò ñau oám.
2:27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
2:27 Vaø, ngöôøi maéc bònh gaàn cheát; nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ thöông xoùt ngöôøi, vaø chaúng nhöõng ngöôøi maø thoâi, caû ñeán toâi nöõa, ñaëng toâi khoûi buoàn raàu caøng theâm buoàn raàu.
2:28 I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when all of you see him again, all of you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
2:28 Vaäy, toâi ñaõ sai ngöôøi ñi raát kíp, haàu cho anh em laïi thaáy ngöôøi thì möøng rôõ, vaø toâi cuõng bôùt buoàn raàu.
2:29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:
2:29 Theá thì, haõy laáy söï vui möøng troïn veïn maø tieáp röôùc ngöôøi trong Chuùa, vaø toân kính nhöõng ngöôøi nhö vaäy;
2:30 Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
2:30 bôûi, aáy laø vì coâng vieäc cuûa Ñaáng Christ maø ngöôøi ñaõ gaàn cheát, lieàu söï soáng mình ñeå buø laïi caùc vieäc maø chính anh em khoâng theå giuùp toâi.
3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
3:1 Hôõi anh em, sau heát, anh em haõy vui möøng trong Chuùa! Toâi chaúng heà sôï phieàn maø laïi vieát nhöõng ñieàu naày cho anh em nöõa, vì aáy laø coù ích cho anh em.
3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3:2 Haõy coi chöøng loaøi choù; haõy coi chöøng keû laøm coâng gian aùc; haõy coi chöøng pheùp caét bì giaû.
3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, (o. pneuma) and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
3:3 Vì, aáy chính chuùng ta laø keû chòu pheùp caét bì thaät, laø keû caäy Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø haàu vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khoe mình trong Ñaáng Christ, vaø khoâng ñeå loøng tin caäy trong xaùc thòt bao giôø.
3:4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
3:4 Aáy chaúng phaûi toâi khoâng coù theå caäy mình trong xaùc thòt ñaâu. Ví baèng keû khaùc töôûng raèng coù theå caäy mình trong xaùc thòt, thì toâi laïi coù theå boäi phaàn nöõa,
3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as concerning the law, a Pharisee;
3:5 toâi chòu pheùp caét bì ngaøy thöù taùm, veà doøng Y-sô-ra-eân, chi phaùi Beân-gia-min, ngöôøi Heâ-bô-rô, con cuûa ngöôøi Heâ-bô-rô; veà luaät phaùp, thì thuoäc phe Pha-ra-si;
3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
3:6 veà loøng soát saéng, thì laø keû baét bôù hoäi thaùnh; coøn nhö veà söï coâng bình cuûa luaät phaùp, thì khoâng choã traùch ñöôïc.
3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
3:7 Nhöng vì côù Ñaáng Christ, toâi ñaõ coi söï lôøi cho toâi nhö laø söï loã vaäy.
3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
3:8 Toâi cuõng coi heát thaûy moïi söï nhö laø söï loã, vì söï nhaän bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ laø quí hôn heát, Ngaøi laø Chuùa toâi, vaø toâi vì Ngaøi maø lieàu boû moïi ñieàu lôïi ñoù. Thaät, toâi xem nhöõng ñieàu ñoù nhö rôm raùc, haàu cho ñöôïc Ñaáng Christ
3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
3:9 vaø ñöôïc ôû trong Ngaøi, ñöôïc söï coâng bình, khoâng phaûi cuûa toâi bôûi luaät phaùp maø ñeán, beøn laø bôûi tin ñeán Ñaáng Christ maø ñöôïc, töùc laø coâng bình ñeán bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaø ñaõ laäp leân treân ñöùc tin;
3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
3:10 cho ñeán noãi toâi ñöôïc bieát Ngaøi, vaø quyeàn pheùp söï soáng laïi cuûa Ngaøi, vaø söï thoâng coâng thöông khoù cuûa Ngaøi, laøm cho toâi neân gioáng nhö Ngaøi trong söï cheát Ngaøi,
3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
3:11 mong cho toâi ñöôïc ñeán söï soáng laïi töø trong keû cheát.
3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
3:12 Aáy khoâng phaûi toâi ñaõ giöït giaûi roài, hay laø ñaõ ñeán nôi troïn laønh roài ñaâu, nhöng toâi ñöông chaïy haàu cho giöït ñöôïc, vì chính toâi ñaõ ñöôïc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ giöït laáy roài.
3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
3:13 Hôõi Anh em, veà phaàn toâi, toâi khoâng töôûng raèng ñaõ ñaït ñeán muïc ñích,
3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
3:14 nhöng toâi cöù laøm moät ñieàu: queân löûng söï ôû ñaèng sau, maø böôn theo söï ôû ñaèng tröôùc, toâi nhaém muïc ñích maø chaïy, ñeå giöït giaûi veà söï keâu goïi treân trôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi trong Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ.
3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing all of you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
3:15 Vaäy, heã nhöõng ngöôøi troïn veïn trong chuùng ta, phaûi coù yù töôûng ñoù; vaø neáu anh em töôûng ñaèng khaùc, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng seõ laáy söï ñoù soi saùng cho anh em.
3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
3:16 Duy Chuùng ta ñaõ ñaït ñeán baäc naøo, thì chuùng ta phaûi ñoàng ñi vaäy.
3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as all of you have us for an example.
3:17 Hôõi Anh em, haõy baét chöôùc toâi, laïi xem nhöõng keû aên ôû theo maãu möïc maø anh em thaáy trong chuùng toâi.
3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:18 Vì toâi ñaõ thöôøng noùi ñieàu naày cho anh em, nay toâi laïi khoùc maø noùi nöõa: laém ngöôøi coù caùch aên ôû nhö laø keû thuø nghòch thaäp töï giaù cuûa Ñaáng Christ.
3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
3:19 Söï cuoái cuøng cuûa hoï laø hö maát; hoï laáy söï xaáu hoå cuûa mình laøm vinh hieån, chæ tö töôûng veà caùc vieäc theá gian maø thoâi.
3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
3:20 Nhöng chuùng ta laø coâng daân treân trôøi; aáy laø töø nôi ñoù maø chuùng ta troâng ñôïi Cöùu Chuùa mình laø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ,
3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
3:21 Ngaøi seõ bieán hoùa thaân theå heøn maït chuùng ta ra gioáng nhö thaân theå vinh hieån Ngaøi, y theo quyeàn pheùp Ngaøi coù ñeå phuïc muoân vaät.
4:1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
4:1 Vaäy thì, hôõi anh em raát yeâu raát thieát, laø söï vui möøng vaø maõo trieàu thieân cho toâi, keû raát yeâu daáu ôi, haõy ñöùng vöõng trong Chuùa.
4:2 I plead to Euodias, and plead to Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
4:2 Toâi khuyeân EÂ-yoâ-ñi vaø khuyeân Sin-ty-cô phaûi hieäp moät yù trong Chuùa.
4:3 And I implore you also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4:3 Hôõi keû ñoàng lieâu trung tín, toâi cuõng xin anh giuùp hai ngöôøi ñôøn baø aáy, nhôn bai baø aáy cuøng toâi ñaõ vì ñaïo Tin Laønh maø chieán ñaáu; Cô-leâ-maên vaø caùc baïn khaùc ñoàng laøm vieäc vôùi toâi cuõng vaäy, coù teân nhöõng ngöôøi ñoù bieân vaøo saùch söï soáng roài.
4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
4:4 Haõy vui möøng trong Chuùa luoân luoân. Toâi laïi coøn noùi nöõa: haõy vui möøng ñi.
4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
4:5 Haõy cho moïi ngöôøi ñeàu bieát neát nhu mì cuûa anh em. Chuùa ñaõ gaàn roài.
4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
4:6 Chôù lo phieàn chi heát, nhöng trong moïi söï haõy duøng lôøi caàu nguyeän, naøi xin, vaø söï taï ôn vaø trình caùc söï caàu xin cuûa mình cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.
4:7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
4:7 Söï bình an cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vöôït quaù moïi söï hieåu bieát, seõ gìn giöõ loøng vaø yù töôûng anh em trong Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ.
4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
4:8 Roát laïi, hôõi anh em, phaøm ñieàu cho chôn thaät, ñieàu chi ñaùng toân, ñieàu chi coâng bình, ñieàu chi thaùnh saïch, ñieàu chi ñaùng yeâu chuoäng, ñieàu chi coù tieáng toát, ñieàu chi coù nhaân ñöùc ñaùng khen, thì anh em phaûi nghó ñeán.
4:9 Those things, which all of you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
4:9 Heã söï gì anh em ñaõ hoïc, ñaõ nhaän, ñaõ nghe ôû nôi toâi vaø ñaõ thaáy trong toâi, haõy laøm ñi, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa söï bình an seõ ôû cuøng anh em.
4:10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me has flourished again; wherein all of you were also careful, but all of you lacked opportunity.
4:10 Toâi ñöôïc raát vui möøng trong Chuùa, vì nay anh em laïi lo töôûng veà toâi laàn nöõa; anh em vaãn töôûng ñeán ñieàu ñoù laém, nhöng khoâng coù dòp tieän.
4:11 Not that I speak in respect of lack: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
4:11 Khoâng phaûi toâi muoán noùi ñeán söï caàn duøng cuûa toâi; vì toâi ñaõ taäp heã gaëp caûnh ngoä naøo, cuõng thoûa loøng ôû vaäy.
4:12 I know both how to be brought low, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
4:12 Toâi bieát chòu ngheøo heøn, cuõng bieát ñöôïc dö daät. Trong moïi söï vaø moïi nôi, toâi ñaõ taäp caû, daàu no hay ñoùi, daàu dö hay thieáu cuõng ñöôïc.
4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
4:13 Toâi laøm ñöôïc moïi söï nhôø Ñaáng ban theâm söùc cho toâi.
4:14 Notwithstanding all of you have well done, that all of you did communicate with my affliction.
4:14 Nhöng anh em giuùp toâi côn hoaïn naïn, thì ñaõ laøm ñieàu thieän.
4:15 Now all of you Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning (o. logos) giving and receiving, but all of you only.
4:15 Hôõi ngöôøi Phi-líp, anh em cuõng bieát raèng luùc toâi khôûi giaûng Tin Laønh trong khi lìa xöù Ma-xeâ-ñoan, thi ngoaøi hoäi thaùnh cuûa anh em, chaúng coù hoäi naøo khaùc hieäp vôùi toâi ñeå laäp thaønh söï trao ñoåi trong chuùng ta caû;
4:16 For even in Thessalonica all of you sent once and again unto my necessity.
4:16 vì taïi Teâ-sa-loâ-ni-ca, anh em ñaõ moät hai laàn gôûi ñoà cung caáp veà söï caàn duøng cho toâi vaäy.
4:17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. (o. logos)
4:17 Aáy khoâng phaûi toâi caàu leã vaät, nhöng caàu söï keát quaû nhieàu bôûi leã vaät ñeán cho anh em.
4:18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.
4:18 Vaäy, toâi ñaõ nhaän ñöôïc heát, vaø ñöông dö daät; toâi ñöôïc ñaày daãy vì ñaõ nhaän ñoà nôi Eùp-ba-phoâ-ñích maø anh em gôûi cho toâi, nhö moät thöù höông coù muøi thôm, töùc laø moät cuûa leã Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaùng nhaän, vaø ñeïp loøng Ngaøi.
4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
4:19 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi seõ laøm cho ñaày ñuû moïi söï caàn duøng cuûa anh em y theo söï giaøu coù cuûa Ngaøi ôû nôi vinh hieån trong Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ.
4:20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
4:20 Nguyeàn xin söï vinh hieån veà nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Cha chuùng ta, ñôøi ñôøi voâ cuøng! A-men.
4:21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
4:21 Haõy chaøo heát thaûy caùc thaùnh ñoà trong Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ; caùc anh em ôû cuøng toâi chaøo anh em
4:22 All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
4:22 Heát thaûy caùc thaùnh ñoà chaøo anh em, nhöùt laø veà ngöôøi nhaø Seâ-sa.
4:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. #@#
