 Co lo se - Colossians

2:1 For I would that all of you knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

2:1 Vaû, toâi muoán anh em bieát döôøng naøo toâi heát söùc chieán tranh cho anh em, cho nhöõng ngöôøi ôû Lao-ñi-xeâ, vaø cho nhöõng keû khoâng thaáy maët toâi veà phaàn xaùc,

2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in (o. agape) love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

2:2 haàu cho loøng nhöõng keû aáy ñöôïc yeân uûi, vaø laáy söï yeâu thöông maø lieân hieäp, ñaëng coù nhieàu söï thoâng bieát ñaày daãy chaéc chaén, ñeán noãi coù theå hieåu söï maàu nhieäm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, töùc laø Ñaáng Christ,

2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

2:3 maø trong Ngaøi ñaõ giaáu kín moïi söï quí baùu veà khoân ngoan thoâng saùng.

2:4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

2:4 Toâi noùi nhö vaäy, haàu cho chaúng ai laáy lôøi doã daønh maø löøa doái anh em.

2:5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the (o. pneuma) spirit, rejoicing and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

2:5 Vì daãu thaân toâi xa caùch, nhöng taâm thaàn toâi vaãn ôû cuøng anh em, thaáy trong anh em coù thöù töï haún hoi vaø ñöùc tin vöõng vaøng ñeán Ñaáng Christ, thì toâi möøng rôõ laém.

2:6 As all of you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk all of you in him:

2:6 Anh em ñaõ nhaän Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ theå naøo, thì haõy böôùc ñi trong Ngaøi theå aáy;

2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as all of you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

2:7 haõy chaâm reã vaø laäp neàn trong Ngaøi, laáy ñöùc tin laøm cho beàn vöõng, tuøy theo anh em ñaõ ñöôïc daïy doã, vaø haõy dö daät trong söï caûm taï.

2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

2:8 Haõy giöõ chöøng, keûo coù ai laáy trieát hoïc vaø lôøi hö khoâng, theo lôøi truyeàn khaåu cuûa loaøi ngöôøi, sô hoïc cuûa theá gian, khoâng theo Ñaáng Christ, maø baét anh em phuïc chaêng.

2:9 For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

2:9 Vì söï ñaày daãy cuûa boån taùnh Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thaûy ñeàu ôû trong Ñaáng aáy nhö coù hình.

2:10 And all of you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

2:10 Anh em laïi nhôø Ngaøi maø coù ñöôïc ñaày daãy moïi söï, vì Ngaøi laø ñaàu cuûa moïi quyeàn cai trò vaø moïi theá löïc.

2:11 In whom also all of you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

2:11 Anh em cuõng chòu caét bì trong Ngaøi, khoâng phaûi pheùp caét bì bôûi tay ngöôøi ta laøm ra, nhöng laø pheùp caét bì cuûa Ñaáng Christ, laø loät boû taùnh xaùc thòt cuûa chuùng ta.

2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also all of you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead.

2:12 Anh em ñaõ bôûi pheùp baùp-tem ñöôïc choân vôùi Ngaøi, thì cuõng ñöôïc soáng laïi vôùi Ngaøi bôûi ñöùc tin trong quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Ñaáng ñaõ khieán Ngaøi töø keû cheát soáng laïi.

2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

2:13 Khi anh em ñaõ cheát bôûi toäi loãi mình vaø söï xaùc thòt mình khoâng chòu caét bì, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ khieán anh em soáng laïi vôùi Ñaáng Christ, vì ñaõ tha thöù heát moïi toäi chuùng ta:

2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

2:14 Ngaøi ñaõ xoùa tôø kheá laäp nghòch cuøng chuùng ta, caùc ñieàu khoaûn traùi vôùi chuùng ta nöõa, cuøng phaù huûy tôø kheá ñoù maø ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï;

2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

2:15 Ngaøi ñaõ truaát boû caùc quyeàn cai trò cuøng caùc theá löïc, duøng thaäp töï giaù chieán thaéng chuùng noù, vaø noäp ra toû töôøng giöõa thieân haï.

2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

2:16 Vì vaäy, chôù coù ai ñoaùn xeùt anh em veà cuûa aên uoáng, hoaëc ngaøy leã, hoaëc ngaøy maët traêng môùi, hoaëc ngaøy Sa-baùt,

2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

2:17 aáy ñeàu chæ laø boùng cuûa caùc vieäc seõ tôùi, coøn hình thì ôû trong Ñaáng Christ.

2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

2:18 Chôù ñeå cho nhöõng keû kia cöôùp laáy phaàn thöôûng chaïy thi, laø keû giaû ñoø khieâm nhöôïng maø muoán thôø laïy caùc thieân söù. Hoï theo nhöõng söï mình xem thaáy, vaø bôûi tính xaùc thòt noåi loøng kieâu ngaïo voâ ích,

2:19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God.

2:19 khoâng lieân laïc vôùi ñaàu, laø nhôø ñaàu ñoù maø caû thaân theå xeáp ñaët keát hieäp bôûi caùc laét leùo, vaø ñöôïc söï sanh tröôûng töø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñeán.

2:20 Wherefore if all of you be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are all of you subject to ordinances,

2:20 Ví baèng anh em cheát vôùi Ñaáng Christ veà söï sô hoïc cuûa theá gian, thì laøm sao laïi ñeå cho nhöõng theå leä naày eùp buoät mình, nhö anh em coøn soáng trong theá gian:

2:21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;

2:21 Chôù laáy, chôù neám, chôù rôø?

2:22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

2:22 Caû söï ñoù heã duøng ñeán thì hö naùt, theo qui taéc vaø ñaïo lyù loaøi ngöôøi,

2:23 Which things have indeed a (o. logos) show of wisdom religious outlook, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

2:23 daàu beà ngoaøi coù veû khoân ngoan, laø bôûi thôø laïy theo yù rieâng, caùch khieâm nhöôïng vaø khaéc khoå thaân theå mình; nhöng khoâng ích gì ñeå choáng cöï loøng duïc cuûa xaùc thòt.
