O se - Hosea

1:1 The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

1:1 Coù lôøi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng OÂ-seâ, con trai Beâ-eâ-ri, veà ñôøi oâ-xia, Gioâ-tham, A-cha, EÂ-xeâ-chia laø caùc vua cuûa Giu-ña, vaø veà ñôøi Gieâ-roâ-boâ-am, con trai Gioâ-aùch, vua Y-sô-ra-eân.

1:2 The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto you a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land has committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.

1:2 Khi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va baét ñaàu phaùn cuøng OÂ-seâ, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va baûo ngöôøi raèng: Haõy ñi, laáy moät ngöôøi vôï gian daâm, vaø con caùi ngoaïi tình; vì ñaát naày chæ phaïm söï taø daâm, lìa boû Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

1:3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.

1:3 Vaäy OÂ-seâ ñi cöôùi Goâ-me, con gaùi cuûa Ñíp-la-im. Naøng chòu thai vaø sanh cho ngöôøi moät trai.

1:4 And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

1:4 Baáy giôø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Haõy ñaët teân noù laø Gít-reâ-eân, vì coøn ít laâu nöõa, ta seõ baùo thuø cho huyeát cuûa Gít-reâ-eân nôi nhaø Gieâ-hu, vaø seõ döùt nöôùc cuûa nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân.

1:5 And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel, in the valley of Jezreel.

1:5 Trong ngaøy ñoù, ta seõ beû cung cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân trong truõng Gít-reâ-eân.

1:6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.

1:6 Naøng laïi chòu thai vaø sanh moät gaùi, thì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng OÂ-seâ raèng: Haõy ñaët teân noù laø Loâ-Ru-ha-ma; vì ta seõ khoâng thöông xoùt nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân nöõa.

1:7 But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

1:7 Nhöng ta seõ thöông xoùt nhaø Giu-ña; seõ giaûi cöùu chuùng noù bôûi Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa chuùng noù; vaø ta seõ khoâng cöùu chuùng noù bôûi cung, hoaëc bôûi göôm, hoaëc bôûi chieán traän, hoaëc bôûi ngöïa, hoaëc bôûi ngöôøi cöôõi ngöïa.

1:8 Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.

1:8 Sau khi Loâ-Ru-ha-ma thoâi buù, naøng chòu thai vaø sanh moät trai.

1:9 Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for all of you are not my people, and I will not be your God.

1:9 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn raèng: Haõy ñaët teân noù laø Loâ-Am-mi; vì caùc ngöôi chaúng phaûi laø daân ta nöõa, vaø ta seõ khoâng laøm Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi nöõa.

1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, All of you are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, All of you are the sons of the living God.

1:10 Daàu vaäy, soá con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân seõ gioáng nhö caùt bôø bieån, khoâng theå löôøng, khoâng theå ñeám; vaø chính nôi maø ñaõ baûo chuùng noù raèng: Caùc ngöôi chaúng phaûi laø daân ta, seõ laïi baûo raèng: Caùc ngöôi laø con trai cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng.

1:11 Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

1:11 Con caùi Giu-ña vaø con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân seõ hieäp nhau laïi; seõ laäp cho mình moät quan tröôûng chung, vaø seõ trôû leân töø ñaát naày, vì ngaøy cuûa Gít-reâ-eân seõ laø ngaøy lôùn.

 O se - Hosea

2:1 Say all of you unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah.

2:1 Haõy xöng anh em caùc ngöôi laø Am-mi; vaø chò em caùc ngöôi laø Ru-ha-ma.

2:2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;

2:2 Haõy kieän meï caùc ngöôi, haõy kieän ñi; vì noù chaúng phaûi laø vôï ta, coøn ta chaúng phaûi laø choàng noù! Noù haõy caát boû söï daâm loaïn khoûi tröôùc maët noù, vaø söï ngoaïi tình khoûi giöõa vuù noù ñi;

2:3 Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.

2:3 keûo ta seõ loät traàn noù, ñeå noù nhö ngaøy môùi sanh ra, vaø laøm cho noù ra nhö ñoàng vaéng, nhö ñaát khoâ, khieán noù cheát khaùt.

2:4 And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms.

2:4 Ta seõ khoâng thöông xoùt con caùi noù, vì aáy laø con caùi cuûa söï gian daâm.

2:5 For their mother has played the harlot: she that conceived them has done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.

2:5 Thaät vaäy, meï chuùng noù laøm söï gian daâm, keû mang thai chuùng noù ñaõ laøm söï oâ nhuïc. Vì noù raèng: Ta seõ ñi theo caùc tình nhôn ta, laø keû ban baùnh, nöôùc, loâng chieân, vaûi, daàu vaø ñoà uoáng cho ta.

2:6 Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths.

2:6 Vaäy neân, naày, ta seõ laáy gai goác raáp ñöôøng ngöôi; seõ xaây moät böùc töôøng nghòch cuøng noù, vaø noù khoâng theå tìm loái mình ñöôïc nöõa.

2:7 And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.

2:7 Noù seõ ñuoåi theo tình nhôn mình maø khoâng kòp, tìm maø khoâng gaëp ñaâu. Ñoaïn noù seõ raèng: Ta seõ trôû veà cuøng choàng thöù nhöùt cuûa ta; vì luùc ñoù ta sung söôùng hôn baây giôø.

2:8 For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.

2:8 Thaät noù chöa töøng nhaän bieát raèng chính ta laø Ñaáng ñaõ ban luùa mì, röôïu môùi vaø daàu cho noù, ñaõ theâm nhieàu baïc vaø vang maø chuùng noù duøng cho Ba-anh.

2:9 Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.

2:9 Vaäy neân ta seõ laáy laïi luùa mì ta trong kyø noù vaø röôïu môùi ta trong muøa noù, ta seõ cöôùp laïi nhung vaø vaûi ta laø ñoà che söï traàn truoàng noù.

2:10 And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.

2:10 Aáy vaäy, ta seõ to söï xaáu xa noù ra tröôùc maët tình nhôn noù, vaø chaúng ai seõ cöùu noù ñöôïc khoûi tay ta.

2:11 I will also cause all her delight to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.

2:11 Ta seõ döùt caû söï vui cuûa noù, nhöõng ngaøy leã, ngaøy traêng môùi, ngaøy Sa-baùt vaø heát thaûy nhöõng ngaøy leã troïng theå cuûa noù

2:12 And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she has said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.

2:12 Ta seõ phaù nhöõng caây nho vaø caây vaû noù, veà caùc caây aáy noù noùi raèng: Naày laø tieàn coâng cuûa caùc tình nhôn ta cho ta. Ta seõ laøm cho nhöõng caây aáy neân röøng, vaø caùc thuù ñoàng seõ aên ñi.

2:13 And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgotten about me, says the LORD.

2:13 Ta seõ thaêm phaït noù vì nhöõng ngaøy maø noù daâng höông cho caùc töôïng Ba-anh, trang söùc nhöõng hoa tai vaø ñoà chaâu baùu, noù ñi theo tình nhôn mình, coøn ta thì noù queân ñi! Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn vaäy.

2:14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.

2:14 Cho neân, naày, ta seõ daãn duï noù, daãn noù vaøo ñoàng vaéng, vaø laáy lôøi ngoït ngaøo noùi cuøng noù.

2:15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

2:15 Ta laïi seõ ban vöôøn nho cho noù töø nôi ñoù, vaø truõng A-coâ seõ trôû neân cöûa troâng caäy. Noù seõ traû lôøi taïi ñoù nhö trong ngaøy treû tuoåi noù, vaø nhö trong ngaøy noù ra khoûi ñaát EÂ-díp-toâ.

2:16 And it shall be at that day, says the LORD, that you shall call me Ishi; and shall call me no more Baali.

2:16 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn raèng: Trong ngaøy ñoù ngöôi seõ goïi ta laø: Choàng toâi, vaø seõ khoâng goïi ta laø: Chuû toâi nöõa.

2:17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

2:17 Vì ta seõ caát teân cuûa caùc töôïng Ba-anh khoûi mieäng noù; vaø khoâng ai noùi ñeán teân chuùng noù nöõa.

2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.

2:18 Trong ngaøy ñoù, ta seõ vì chuùng noù laäp öôùc cuøng nhöõng thuù ñoàng, nhöõng chim trôøi, vaø coân truøng treân ñaát. Ta seõ beû gaõy vaø laøm cho bieán maát khoûi ñaát naày nhöõng cung, nhöõng göôm, vaø giaëc giaõ; vaø seõ khieán daân söï ñöôïc naèm yeân oån.

2:19 And I will betroth you unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth you unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving kindness, and in mercies.

2:19 Ta seõ cöôùi ngöôi cho ta ñôøi ñôøi; ta seõ cöôùi ngöôi cho ta trong söï coâng bình vaø chaùnh tröïc, nhôn töø vaø thöông xoùt.

2:20 I will even betroth you unto me in faithfulness: and you shall know the LORD.

2:20 Phaûi, ta seõ cöôùi ngöôi cho ta trong söï thaønh tín, vaø ngöôi seõ bieát Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

2:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, says the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;

2:21 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn: Trong ngaøy ñoù, ta seõ traû lôøi, ta seõ traû lôøi cho caùc töøng trôøi, caùc töøng trôøi seõ traû lôøi cho ñaát.

2:22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.

2:22 Ñaát seõ traû lôøi cho luùa mì, cho röôïu môùi, cho daàu, vaø ba thöù naày seõ traû lôøi cho Gít-reâ-eân.

2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, You are my people; and they shall say, You are my God.

2:23 Ñoaïn ta seõ gieo noù cho ta trong ñaát, vaø seõ laøm söï thöông xoùt cho keû chöa ñöôïc thöông xoùt. Ta seõ noùi cuøng nhöõng keû chöa laøm daân ta raèng: Ngöôi laø daân ta, vaø noù seõ traû lôøi raèng: Ngaøi laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi.

 O se - Hosea

3:1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

3:1 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va baûo ta raèng: Haõy ñi, laïi yeâu moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø taø daâm ñaõ coù baïn yeâu mình, theo nhö Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaãn yeâu con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân, daàu chuùng noù xaây veà caùc thaàn khaùc, vaø öa baùnh ngoït baèng traùi nho.

3:2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:

3:2 Vaäy ta ñaõ mua ñôøn baø aáy baèng möôøi laêm mieáng baïc vaø moät hoâ-me röôõi maïch nha.

3:3 And I said unto her, You shall abide for me many days; you shall not play the harlot, and you shall not be for another man: so will I also be for you.

3:3 Roài ta baûo noù raèng: Ngöôi khaù chôø ñôïi ta laâu ngaøy; ñöøng laøm söï gian daâm vaø chôù laøm vôï cho ngöôøi nam naøo, thì ta ñoái vôùi ngöôi cuõng seõ laøm nhö vaäy.

3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:

3:4 Vì con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân seõ traûi qua nhieàu ngaøy, khoâng vua, khoâng quan tröôûng, khoâng cuûa leã, khoâng truï töôïng, khoâng eâ-phoùt, vaø khoâng theâ-ra-phim.

3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

3:5 Nhöng, roài ñoù, con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân seõ trôû laïi tìm kieám Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình, vaø Ña-vít vua mình. Chuùng noù seõ kính sôï maø trôû veà cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø ñöôïc ôn Ngaøi trong nhöõng ngaøy sau roát.

 O se - Hosea

4:1 Hear the word of the LORD, all of you children of Israel: for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

4:1 Hôõi con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân, haõy nghe lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù söï kieän caùo vôùi daân ñaát naày, bôûi trong ñaát naày chaúng coù leõ thaät, chaúng coù nhôn töø, cuõng chaúng coù söï nhaän bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

4:2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood touches blood.

4:2 ÔÛ ñoù chæ thaáy nhöõng söï theà gian, thaát tín, gieát ngöôøi, aên troäm, vaø taø daâm; chuùng noù laøm söï taøn baïo, maùu choàng treân maùu.

4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwells therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

4:3 Vaäy neân, ñaát aáy seõ saàu thaûm; heát thaûy ngöôøi ôû ñoù seõ hao moøn, nhöõng thuù ñoàng vaø chim trôøi cuõng vaäy; nhöõng caù bieån cuõng seõ bò laáy ñi.

4:4 Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for your people are as they that strive with the priest.

4:4 Daàu vaäy, chôù coù ai bieän luaän, chôù coù ai quôû traùch! Vì daân ngöôi gioáng nhö nhöõng ngöôøi caõi laãy thaày teá leã.

4:5 Therefore shall you fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with you in the night, and I will destroy your mother.

4:5 Ngöôi seõ vaáp ngaõ giöõa ban ngaøy; chính mình keû tieân tri cuõng seõ vaáp ngaõ vôùi ngöôi trong ban ñeâm, vaø ta seõ dieät meï ngöôi.

4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.

4:6 Daân ta bò dieät vì côù thieáu söï thoâng bieát. Bôûi ngöôi boû söï thoâng bieát thì ta cuõng boû ngöôi, ñaëng ngöôi khoâng laøm thaày teá leã cho ta nöõa; bôûi ngöôi ñaõ queân luaät phaùp cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình, thì ta cuõng seõ queân con caùi ngöôi.

4:7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

4:7 Chuùng noù sanh saûn nhieàu ra bao nhieâu, thì chuùng noù laïi phaïm toäi nghòch cuøng ta baáy nhieâu: ta seõ ñoåi söï vinh hieån cuûa chuùng noù ra sæ nhuïc.

4:8 They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.

4:8 Chuùng noù aên toäi loãi daân ta; ham hoá söï gian aùc cuûa noù.

4:9 And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.

4:9 Seõ xaûy ra daân theå naøo thì thaày teá leã cuõng theå aáy: ta seõ phaït noù vì ñöôøng loái noù vaø seõ traû cho noù tuøy vieäc noù laøm.

4:10 For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.

4:10 Chuùng noù seõ aên maø khoâng ñöôïc no, haønh daâm maø khoâng sanh saûn theâm, vì chuùng noù ñaõ boû Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khoâng nghó ñeán Ngaøi nöõa.

4:11 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.

4:11 Söï daâm duïc, röôïu cuõ vaø röôïu môùi caát laáy heát trí khoân chuùng noù.

4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declares unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms has caused them to go astray, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

4:12 Daân ta hoûi töôïng goã noù, thì gaäy noù traû lôøi; vì loøng daâm laøm laàm laïc chuùng noù, vaø chuùng noù phaïm toäi taø daâm maø lìa boû Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình.

4:13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.

4:13 Chuùng noù daâng teá leã treân caùc choùt nuùi; ñoát höông treân caùc ñoài, döôùi nhöõng caây deõ, caây lieãu, caây thoâng, vì boùng noù maùt meû laém. Vaäy neân, con gaùi caùc ngöôi haønh daâm, vaø daâu caùc ngöôi phaïm toäi ngoaïi tình.

4:14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that does not understand shall fall.

4:14 Ta seõ khoâng phaït con gaùi caùc ngöôi bôûi côù haønh daâm, cuõng khoâng phaït daâu caùc ngöôi bôûi côù ngoaïi tình; vì nhöõng ñôøn oâng ñi rieâng vôùi ñoà ñieám ñó, vaø daâng cuûa leã vôùi ñôøn baø daâm ñaõng. Vaäy neân daân söï chaúng hieåu bieát seõ bò uùp ñoå.

4:15 Though you, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not all of you unto Gilgal, neither go all of you up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD lives.

4:15 Hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, daàu ngöôi taø daâm, Giu-ña cuõng khoâng neân phaïm toäi! Vaäy chôù vaøo nôi Ghinh-ganh! Chôù leân nôi Beát -A-ven! Chôù coù theà maø raèng: Thaät nhö Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va haèng soáng.

4:16 For Israel slides back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

4:16 Vì Y-sô-ra-eân ñaõ baïn nghòch nhö con boø caùi tô baát trò, neân baây giôø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cho chuùng noù aên coû nhö chieân con thaû trong ñoàng roäng.

4:17 Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.

4:17 Eùp-ra-im sa meâ thaàn töôïng, haõy ñeå maëc noù!

4:18 Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give all of you.

4:18 Ñoà chuùng noù uoáng ñaõ chua ñi; chuùng noù laøm söï gian daâm chaúng thoâi. Caùc quan tröôûng noù vui loøng trong söï sæ nhuïc.

4:19 The wind has bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.

4:19 Gioù ñaõ laáy caùnh cuoán noù, vaø chuùng noù seõ mang xaáu hoå vì cuûa leã mình.

 O se - Hosea

5:1 Hear all of you this, O priests; and hearken, all of you house of Israel; and give all of you ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because all of you have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

5:1 Hôõi caùc thaày teá leã, haõy nghe ñieàu naày; hôõi nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân, khaù ñeå yù; hôõi nhaø vua, haõy laéng tai! Söï phaùn xeùt coù quan heä vôùi caùc ngöôi, vì caùc ngöôi laø baãy ôû Mích-ba, vaø giaêng löôùi treân Tha-boâ.

5:2 And the apostates are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.

5:2 Chuùng noù laø keû baïn nghòch ñaõ vaøo saâu trong söï gieát laùt, nhöng ta seõ quôû traùch chuùng noù heát thaûy.

5:3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, you commit whoredom, and Israel is defiled.

5:3 Ta bieát Eùp-ra-im, vaø Y-sô-ra-eân khoâng giaáu vôùi ta. Vaû, hôõi Eùp-ra-im, ngöôi ñaõ phaïm toäi taø daâm! Y-sô-ra-eân bò oâ ueá!

5:4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.

5:4 Coâng vieäc chuùng noù laøm ngaên trôû chuùng noù veà cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình; vì loøng daâm trong chuùng noù, vaø chuùng noù khoâng nhaän bieát Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

5:5 And the pride of Israel does testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.

5:5 Söï kieâu ngaïo cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân laøm chöùng taän maët noù, neân Y-sô-ra-eân vaø Eùp-ra-im seõ ngaõ xuoáng vì côù toäi loãi mình; Giu-ña cuõng seõ ngaõ xuoáng vôùi chuùng noù.

5:6 They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he has withdrawn himself from them.

5:6 Chuùng noù seõ ñi vôùi caùc baày chieân baày boø mình, ñaëng tìm kieám Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; song khoâng thaáy Ngaøi! Ngaøi ñaõ lìa khoûi chuùng noù.

5:7 They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.

5:7 Chuùng noù ñaõ phænh doái Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vì ñaõ sanh nhöõng con caùi ngoaïi tình. Ñeán ngaøy traêng môùi, chuùng noù seõ cuøng saûn nghieäp mình ñeàu bò nuoát ñi!

5:8 Blow all of you the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after you, O Benjamin.

5:8 Haõy thoåi keøn ôû Ghi-beâ -a, haõy thoåi loa ôû Ra-ma! Haõy la loái ôû Beát -A-ven! Hôõi Beân-gia-min, noù ôû ñaèng sau ngöôi!

5:9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.

5:9 Eùp-ra-im seõ neân hoang vu trong ngaøy quôû traùch; ta rao ra cho caùc chi phaùi Y-sô-ra-eân moät söï chaéc seõ xaûy ñeán.

5:10 The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.

5:10 Caùc quan tröôûng Giu-ña gioáng nhö keû laán ñòa giôùi; ta seõ ñoå côn giaän ta treân chuùng noù nhö truùt nöôùc.

5:11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

5:11 Eùp-ra-im bò haø hieáp, bò nghieàn naùt trong söï ñoaùn xeùt, vì noù ñaõ baèng loøng theo ñieàu raên cuûa loaøi ngöôøi.

5:12 Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

5:12 Vaäy neân, ta gioáng nhö con moït cho Eùp-ra-im, vaø nhö söï muïc naùt cho nhaø Giu-ña.

5:13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.

5:13 Khi Eùp-ra-im ñaõ bieát bònh mình, thì Eùp-ra-im ñi ñeán cuøng ngöôøi A-si-ri, vaø sai ñeán cuøng vua Gia-reùp. Nhöng noù khoâng theå chöõa laønh caùc ngöôi, vaø khoâng buoäc veát thöông cho caùc ngöôi.

5:14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

5:14 Vì ta seõ nhö moät con sö töû cho Eùp-ra-im, nhö moät sö töû con cho nhaø Giu-ña. Thaät, chính ta, chính ta seõ caén xeù roài ñi luoân; ta seõ baét ñem ñi vaø chaúng ai coù theå giaûi cöùu.

5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

5:15 Ta seõ ñi, seõ vaøo nôi ta, cho ñeán chöøng naøo chuùng noù nhaän bieát mình phaïm toäi vaø tìm kieám maët ta. Trong côn khoán naïn, chuùng noù seõ coá tìm ta.

 O se - Hosea

6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he has torn, and he will heal us; he has smitten, and he will bind us up.

6:1 Haõy ñeán, chuùng ta haõy trôû veà cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; vì Ngaøi ñaõ xeù chuùng ta, song Ngaøi seõ chöõa laønh cho; Ngaøi ñaõ ñaùnh chuùng ta, song seõ buoäc veát tích.

6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

6:3 Chuùng ta khaù nhaän bieát Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; chuùng ta khaù gaéng söùc nhaän bieát Ngaøi. Söï hieän ra cuûa Ngaøi laø chaéc chaén nhö söï hieän ra cuûa maët trôøi sôùm mai, Ngaøi seõ ñeán cuøng chuùng ta nhö mua, nhö mua cuoái muøa töôùi ñaát.

6:4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto you? O Judah, what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away.

6:4 Ta seõ laøm gì cho ngöôi, hôõi Eùp-ra-im? Ta seõ laøm gì cho ngöôi, hôõi Giu-ña? Vì loøng nhôn töø cuûa caùc ngöôi gioáng nhö maây buoåi saùng, nhö moùc tan ra vöøa luùc sôùm mai.

6:5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and your judgments are as the light that goes forth.

6:5 Vaäy neân ta ñaõ duøng caùc tieân tri söûa phaït chuùng noù; ta ñaõ gieát chuùng noù bôûi lôøi noùi töø mieäng ta: nhöõng söï phaùn xeùt cuûa ta moïc leân nhö aùnh saùng.

6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

6:6 Vì ta öa söï nhôn töø vaø khoâng öa cuûa leã, öa söï nhaän bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi hôn laø öa cuûa leã thieâu.

6:7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

6:7 Nhöng, theo caùch ngöôøi ta, chuùng noù ñaõ phaïm lôøi giao öôùc, vaø ôû ñoù chuùng noù ñaõ phænh doái ta.

6:8 Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.

6:8 Ga-la-aùt laø thaønh cuûa keû laøm aùc, ñaày nhöõng daáu maùu.

6:9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.

6:10 I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.

6:10 Trong nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân, ta ñaõ thaáy moät vieäc gôùm ghieác, ôû ñoù Eùp-ra-im thì laøm söï gian daâm, Y-sô-ra-eân thì bò oâ ueá!

6:11 Also, O Judah, he has set an harvest for you, when I returned the captivity of my people.

6:11 Hôõi Giu-ña, ngöôi cuõng vaäy, coù muøa gaët ñaõ ñònh cho ngöôi, khi ta ñem phu tuø cuûa daân ta trôû veà.

 O se - Hosea

7:1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief comes in, and the troop of robbers spoils without.

7:1 Khi ta muoán chöõa laønh cho Y-sô-ra-eân, thì toäi loãi cuûa Eùp-ra-im vaø söï gian aùc cuûa Sa-ma-ri baøy toû; vì chuùng noù ñaõ laøm söï giaû doái; keû troäm vaøo trong vaø boïn cöôùp ñaùnh giöït ôû ngoaøi.

7:2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

7:2 Chuùng noù khoâng nghó trong loøng raèng ta nhôù moïi söï gian aùc cuûa chuùng noù. Baây giôø toäi phaïm chuùng noù raøng ròt laáy mình; chuùng noù ôû tröôùc maët ta.

7:3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

7:3 Chuùng noù laáy söï gian aùc mình laøm vui loøng vua, laáy söï doái traù mình laøm ñeïp loøng caùc quan tröôûng.

7:4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceases from raising after he has kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.

7:4 Heát thaûy chuùng noù ñeàu taø daâm, gioáng nhö loø cuûa ngöôøi nöôùng baùnh ñoát löûa, thoâi chuïm löûa töø khi nhoài boät cho ñeán chöøng boät daäy men.

7:5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

7:5 Ñeán ngaøy vua chuùng ta, caùc quan tröôûng vì söï noùng cuûa röôïu maø ñau oám: vua cuõng baét tay nhöõng keû hay nhaïo baùng.

7:6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleeps all the night; in the morning it burns as a flaming fire.

7:6 Chuùng noù rình raäp, loøng chaùy nhö laø löûa maø keû nöôùng baùnh ñaõ nguû caû ñeâm; ñeán saùng sôùm thì loø chaùnh nhö löûa phun ra nhöõng ngoïn.

7:7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calls unto me.

7:7 Chuùng noù thaûy ñeàu noùng höøng nhö loø löûa, nuoát caùc quan xeùt mình. Heát thaûy caùc vua chuùng noù ñeàu bò uùp ñoå, vaø trong ñaùm hoï chaúng ai keâu vôùi ta.

7:8 Ephraim, he has mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

7:8 Eùp-ra-im xen loän vôùi caùc daân khaùc; Eùp-ra-im khaùc naøo baùnh chöa quay.

7:9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knows it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knows not.

7:9 Caùc daân ngoaïi ñaõ nuoát söùc maïnh noù, maø noù khoâng bieát! Toïc ñaàu noù baïc leùm ñeùm, maø noù chaúng ngôø!

7:10 And the pride of Israel testifies to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.

7:10 Söï kieâu ngaïo cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân laøm chöùng tröôùc maët noù; chuùng noù daàu gaëp söï ñoù cuõng khoâng trôû laïi cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình, vaø cuõng chaúng tìm kieám Ngaøi!

7:11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

7:11 Eùp-ra-im nhö boø caâu ngaây daïi, khoâng coù trí khoân: vì chuùng noù keâu EÂ-díp-toâ, ñi ñeán cuøng A-si-ri.

7:12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation has heard.

7:12 Ñang khi chuùng noù ñi ñoù, ta seõ giaêng löôùi treân chuùng noù, ta seõ laøm cho chuùng noù ngaõ xuoáng nhö nhöõng chim trôøi; ta seõ söûa phaït chuùng noù y nhö giöõa hoäi chuùng noù ñaõ nghe.

7:13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

7:13 Khoán cho chuùng noù! vì chuùng noù lìa xa ta; nguyeàn söï hö naùt ñoå treân chuùng noù! vì chuùng noù ñaõ phaïm toäi nghòch cuøng ta: daàu ta muoán cöùu chuoäc chuùng noù, nhöng chuùng noù noùi nhöõng ñieàu doái traù nghòch cuøng ta.

7:14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.

7:14 Chuùng noù chaúng laáy loøng keâu caàu ta, song chuùng noù keâu van treân giöôøng mình; chuùng noù thaâu muøa luùa mì vaø röôïu môùi cuûa mình, vaø baïn nghòch cuøng ta.

7:15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

7:15 chính ta ñaõ daïy chuùng noù, ñaõ laøm cho maïnh caùnh tay chuùng noù, daàu vaäy, chuùng noù cuõng toan söï döõ nghòch cuøng ta.

7:16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

7:16 Chuùng noù xaây laïi, song khoâng höôùng veà Ñaáng Raát Cao. Chuùng noù gioáng nhö cung giôû traùi. Quan tröôûng chuùng noù seõ ngaõ bôûi göôm, vì löôõi chuùng noù noåi giaän. Kìa, chuùng noù seõ laøm troø cöôøi trong ñaát EÂ-díp-toâ.

 O se - Hosea

8:1 Set the trumpet to your mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

8:1 Mieäng ngöôi khaù thoåi keøn! Noù nhö chim öng ñeán nghòch cuøng nhaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vì chuùng noù ñaõ traùi lôøi giao öôùc ta, va ñaõ phaïm luaät phaùp ta.

8:2 Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know you.

8:2 Chuùng noù seõ keâu ñeán ta raèng: Hôõi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi, chuùng toâi laø Y-sô-ra-eân, nhaän bieát Ngaøi!

8:3 Israel has cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.

8:3 Y-sô-ra-eân ñaõ boû ñieàu laønh, keû nghòch seõ ñuoåi theo noù.

8:4 They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.

8:4 Chuùng noù ñaõ laäp vua maø khoâng bôûi ta, laäp quan troïng maø ta khoâng bieát. Chuùng noù laáy baïc vaøng cuûa mình laøm thaàn töôïng cho mình, ñeå chuùng noù bò döùt ñi.

8:5 Your calf, O Samaria, has cast you off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be before they attain to innocence?

8:6 For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.

8:6 Vì boø con ñoù thaät laø vieäc cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân laøm ra; moät ngöôøi thôï ñaõ cheá ra, noù khoâng phaûi laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Thaät, boø con cuûa Sa-ma-ri seõ bò beå naùt.

8:7 For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it has no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.

8:7 Vì chuùng noù ñaõ gieo gioù vaø seõ gaët baõo loác. Chuùng noù khoâng coù luùa ñöùng; caây luùa seõ khoâng sanh ra boät; maø daàu coù sanh ra nöõa, thì daân ngoaïi seõ nuoát laáy.

8:8 Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.

8:8 Y-sô-ra-eân ñaõ bò nuoát. Baây giôø chuùng noù ôû giöõa caùc daân, nhö khí maïnh chaúng ai öa thích.

8:9 For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim has hired lovers.

8:9 Vì chuùng noù ñaõ leân A-si-ri, nhö con löøa röøng ñi moät mình; Eùp-ra-im ñaõ hoái loä cho nhöõng keû yeâu noù.

8:10 Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes.

8:10 Daàu chuùng noù hoái loä giöõa caùc nöôùc, nay ta seõ nhoùm hoïp chuùng noù; chuùng noù baét ñaàu giaûm bôùt ñi, vì côù söï gaùnh naëng bôûi vua cuûa caùc quan tröôûng.

8:11 Because Ephraim has made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.

8:11 Vì Eùp-ra-im ñaõ theâm nhieàu baøn thôø ñaëng phaïm toäi, thì nhöõng baøn thôø noù ñaõ khieán noù sa vaøo toäi loãi.

8:12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.

8:12 Ta ñaõ cheùp leä luaät ta cho noù moät vaïn ñieàu, nhöng noù coi nhöõng chaúng can gì ñeán mình.

8:13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepts them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.

8:13 Coøn nhö cuûa leã daâng cho ta, thì chuùng noù daâng thòt vaø aên; nhöng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va chaúng nhaän chuùng noù ñaâu. Baây giôø Ngaøi nhôù laïi söï gian aùc chuùng noù, vaø seõ thaêm phaït toäi loãi chuùng noù; chuùng noù seõ trôû veà trong EÂ-díp-toâ!

8:14 For Israel has forgotten his Maker, and builds temples; and Judah has multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

8:14 Y-sô-ra-eân ñaõ queân Ñaáng taïo mình, vaø döïng nhöõng cung ñeàn; Giu-ña ñaõ theâm nhieàu caùc thaønh beàn vöõng. Nhöng ta seõ sai löûa treân caùc thaønh noù, vaø löûa aáy seõ thieâu chaùy cung ñeàn noù.

 O se - Hosea

9:1 Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for you have gone a whoring from your God, you have loved a reward upon floors of corn.

9:1 Hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, chôù vui möøng; chôù nöùc loøng möøng rôõ nhö caùc daân; vì ngöôi ñaõ phaïm toäi taø daâm vaø caùch xa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi. ngöôi ñaõ öa thích tieàn coâng mình treân moïi saân ñaïp luùa

9:4 They shall not offer wine offerings to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.

9:4 Chuùng noù seõ khoâng laøm leã quaùn baèng röôïu cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nöõa, vaø caùc cuûa leã chuùng noù cuõng seõ chaúng ñeïp loøng Ngaøi; song seõ nhö baùnh keû coù tang: heã ai aên ñeán thì bò oâ ueá; vì baùnh chuùng noù seõ ñôõ ñoùi cho chuùng noù, chaúng ñöôïc vaøo nhaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

9:6 For, lo, they are gone because of destruction: Egypt shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them: the pleasant places for their silver, nettles shall possess them: thorns shall be in their tabernacles.

9:6 Thaät, naày, chuùng noù ñaõ ñi troán khoûi tai hoïa. EÂ-díp-toâ seõ lieäm chuùng noù, Mem-phi seõ choân chuùng noù. Nhöõng ñoà baèng baïc raát quí cuûa chuùng noù seõ trôû neân moài cuûa chaø-chuoâm; gai goác seõ loaùn nôi nhaø taïm chuùng noù.

9:7 The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of yours iniquity, and the great hatred.

9:7 Nhöõng ngaøy thaêm phaït ñaõ ñeán roài! Nhöõng ngaøy baùo traû ñaõ tôùi roài! Y-sô-ra-eân seõ bieát. Keû tieân tri laø dö daät, ngöôøi ñöôïc caûm ñoäng bôûi thaàn linh laø ñieân cuoàng, vì söï gian aùc dö daät cuûa ngöôi, vaø söï hôøn gheùt lôùn laém.

9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the first-fruits in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.

9:10 Ta ñaõ gaëp Y-sô-ra-eân, nhö gaëp traùi nho trong ñoàng vaéng; ta ñaõ thaáy toå phuï caùc ngöôi nhö traùi chín ñaàu treân caây vaû tô. Nhöng chuùng noù ñaõ vaøo nôi Ba-anh-Pheâ-roâ; daâng mình cho vaät xaáu hoå, vaø cuõng trôû neân gôùm ghieác nhö vaät chuùng noù ñaõ yeâu.

9:15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are apostates.

9:15 Caû söï hung aùc chuùng noù ñeàu ôû Ghinh-ganh; aáy taïi ñoù maø ta gheùt chuùng noù. Vì côù nhöõng vieäc aùc chuùng noù, ta seõ ñuoåi chuùng noù khoûi nhaø ta; ta seõ chaúng thöông yeâu chuùng noù nöõa. Heát thaûy quan tröôûng chuùng noù laø keû baïn nghòch.

10:1 Israel is an empty vine, he brings forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he has increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.

10:1 Y-sô-ra-eân laø moät caây nho töôi toát, sanh ra traùi noù. Traùi noù caøng sai tríu chöøng naøo, noù caøng theâm nhieàu baøn thôø ra chöøng naáy; ñaát noù caøng toát bao nhieâu, nhöõng truï töôïng noù laäp leân caøng ñeïp baáy nhieâu.

10:2 Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

10:2 Loøng chuùng noù phaân hai; baây giôø chuùng noù seõ bò ñònh toäi. Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi seõ ñaùnh baøn thôø chuùng noù; seõ phaù truï töôïng chuùng noù.

10:3 For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?

10:3 Chaéc baây giôø chuùng noù seõ noùi raèng: Chuùng ta khoâng coù vua, vì chuùng ta khoâng kính sôï Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; vaø vua, vua coù theå laøm gì cho chuùng ta?

10:4 They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springs up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.

10:4 Chuùng noù noùi nhöõng lôøi hö khoâng vaø theà doái khi laäp giao öôùc; cho neân söï ñoaùn phaït seõ nöùt maàm, nhaïy nhö coù ñoäc moïc leân trong luoáng caøy nôi ruoäng.

10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.

10:5 Daân cö Sa-ma-ri seõ kinh haõi vì nhöõng boø con cuûa Beát -A-ven; daân söï seõ vì noù than khoùc, caùc thaày teá leã noù voán öa thích noù cuõng vaäy, vì söï vinh hieån noù ñaõ bieán maát khoûi noù.

10:6 It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

10:6 Noù cuõng ñöôïc bò dôøi qua A-si-ri laûm leã vaät daâng cho vua Gia-reùp. Baáy giôø Eùp-ra-im seõ mang xaáu hoå, Y-sô-ra-eân seõ hoå theïn veà möu keá mình.

10:7 As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.

10:7 Veà phaàn Sa-ma-ri, vua noù bò tröø ñi gioáng nhö boït treân maët nöôùc.

10:8 The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

10:8 Caùc nôi cao cuûa A-ven, töùc laø toäi loãi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, seõ bò phaù huûy; gai goác vaø chaø chuoâm seõ moïc treân caùc baøn thôø chuùng noù. Baáy giôø ngöôøi ta seõ noùi cuøng caùc nuùi raèng: Haõy bao boïc laáy chuùng ta! vaø noùi vôùi caùc ñoài raèng: Haõy ñoå xuoáng treân chuùng ta!

10:9 O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.

10:9 Hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, töø ngaøy Ghi-beâ -a, ngöôi ñaõ phaïm toäi roài! Chuùng noù ñeàu ñöùng ñoù; söï tranh chieán nghòch cuøng con caùi söï gian aùc chaúng theo kòp chuùng noù trong Ghi-beâ -a.

10:10 It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.

10:10 Ta seõ söûa phaït chuùng noù khi ta muoán, vaø caùc daân seõ nhoùm laïi nghòch cuøng chuùng noù, khi chuùng noù bò buoäc vaøo hai toäi mình.

10:11 And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loves to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.

10:11 Eùp-ra-im nhö boø caùi tô kheùo daïy, öa thích ñaïp luùa; nhöng ta ñaõ qua treân coå beùo toát noù. Ta seõ ñaët ngöôøi côõi treân Eùp-ra-im; Giu-ña seõ caøy, vaø Gia-coáp seõ ñaäp vôõ cuïc ñaát.

10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he comes and rain righteousness upon you.

10:13 All of you have plowed wickedness, all of you have reaped iniquity; all of you have eaten the fruit of lies: because you did trust in your way, in the multitude of your mighty men.

10:13 Caùc ngöôi ñaõ caøy söï gian aùc, gaët söï gian aùc, aên traùi cuûa söï noùi doái; vì ngöôi ñaõ nhôø caäy trong ñöôøng loái ngöôi, trong muoân vaøn ngöôøi maïnh baïo cuûa ngöôi.

10:14 Therefore shall a tumult arise among your people, and all your fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.

10:14 Vaäy neân söï roái loaïn seõ sanh ra trong daân ngöôi: ngöôøi ta seõ huûy phaù moïi ñoàn luõy cuûa ngöôi, nhö San-man ñaõ huûy phaù Beát-Aït-beân, trong ngaøy coù traän ñaùnh maø meï bò nghieàn naùt vôùi caùc con caùi.

10:15 So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.

 O se - Hosea

11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

11:1 Khi Y-sô-ra-eân coøn thô aáy, ta yeâu daáu noù; ta goïi con trai ta ra khoûi EÂ-díp-toâ.

11:2 As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.

11:2 Caùc tieân tri caøng goïi noù chöøng naøo, noù caøng troán traùnh chöøng naáy. Chuùng noù ñaõ daâng cuûa leã cho caùc töôïng Ba-anh, vaø ñoát höông cho töôïng chaïm.

11:3 I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.

11:3 Daàu vaäy, ta ñaõ daïy Eùp-ra-im böôùc ñi, laáy caùnh tay maø naâng ñôõ noù. Song chuùng noù chaúng hieåu bieát raèng ta ñaõ chöõa laønh cho.

11:4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid food unto them.

11:4 Ta ñaõ duøng daây nhôn tình, duøng xích yeâu thöông keùo chuùng noù ñeán. Ta ñaõ nhö nhöõng keû côûi aùch khoûi haøm chuùng noù, vaø ñeå ñoà aên tröôùc maët chuùng noù.

11:5 He shall not return into the land of Egypt, and the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.

11:5 Chuùng noù seõ khoâng trôû veà trong ñaát EÂ-díp-toâ nöõa, nhöng ngöôøi A-si-ri seõ laøm vua chuùng noù, vì chuùng noù chaúng khöùng trôû laïi vôùi ta.

11:6 And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.

11:6 Göôm seõ rôi treân caùc thaønh chuùng noù, huûy phaù then cöûa chuùng noù, nuoát heát chuùng noù, vì côù möu chöôùc chuùng noù.

11:7 And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.

11:7 Thaät, daân ta quyeát yù traùi boû ta. Ngöôøi ta khuyeân chuùng noù ñeán cuøng Ñaáng cao; song trong chuùng noù chaúng moät ngöôøi naøo daáy leân.

11:8 How shall I give you up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver you, Israel? how shall I make you as Admah? how shall I set you as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

11:8 Hôõi Eùp-ra-im, theå naøo ta boû ñöôïc ngöôi? Hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, theå naøo ta lìa ñöôïc ngöôi? Theå naøo ta seõ ñaõi ngöôi ñöôïc nhö Aùt-ma, hay laø laøm cho ngöôi nhö Seâ-boâ-im? Loøng ta rung ñoäng trong ta; loøng thöông xoùt cuûa ta caû ñeàu noùng naûy.

11:9 I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of you: and I will not enter into the city.

11:9 Ta caàm söï noùng giaän laïi, vaø seõ chaúng laïi huûy dieät Eùp-ra-im. Vì ta laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khoâng phaûi laø ngöôøi; ta laø Ñaáng Thaùnh ôû giöõa ngöôi, chaúng laáy côn giaän ñeán cuøng ngöôi.

11:10 They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

11:11 They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, says the LORD.

11:12 Ephraim compasses me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet rules with God, and is faithful with the saints.

11:12 (12 -1) Eùp-ra-im laáy söï noùi doái bao boïc ta, coøn nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân thì laáy söï löøa phænh; Giu-ña cai trò vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø coù loøng trung tín vôùi Ñaáng Thaùnh.

 O se - Hosea

12:1 Ephraim feeds on wind, and follows after the east wind: he daily increases lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.

12:1 (1-:2) Eùp-ra-im aên gioù, chaïy theo sau gioù ñoâng. Moãi ngaøy, noù theâm nhieàu söï noùi doái vaø söï hoang vu; noù laäp giao öôùc vôùi A-si-ri, vaø ñem daàu vaøo EÂ-díp-toâ.

12:2 The LORD has also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.

12:2 (12 -3) Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuõng coù söï khaån caàu vôùi Giu-ña, vaø Ngaøi seõ phaït Gia-coáp theo ñöôøng loái noù; Ngaøi seõ baùo traû noù theo vieäc noù lam.

12:4 Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spoke with us;

12:4 (12 -5) Ngöôøi coù quyeàn hôn thieân söù, vaø ñöôïc thaéng; khoùc loùc vaø khaån caàu ngöôøi. Ngaøi ñaõ gaëp ngöôøi taïi Beâ-teân, vaø aáy ñoù laø nôi Ngaøi phaùn cuøng chuùng ta,

12:6 Therefore turn you to your God: keep mercy and judgment and wait on your God continually.

12:6 (12 -7) Vaäy ngöôi khaù trôû laïi cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi; giöõ söï nhôn töø vaø söï coâng bình, luoân luoân troâng ñôïi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi.

12:7 He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loves to oppress.

12:7 (12 -8) Noù laø ngöôøi buoân baùn caàm nhöõng caân doái traù trong tay mình; noù öa gian laän.

12:8 And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.

12:8 (12 -9) Phaûi, Eùp-ra-im noùi raèng: Thaät, ta ñaõ trôû neân giaøu; ta ñaõ ñöôïc cuûa caûi. Trong moïi vieäc ta laøm chaúng heà thaáy moät vieäc gian aùc gì laø toäi loãi.

12:9 And I that am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt will yet make you to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

12:9 (12-10) Ta laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, laøm Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi töø khi ngöôi ra khoûi ñaát EÂ-díp-toâ, ta seõ coøn laøm cho ngöôi döôùi caùc traïi nhö trong nhöõng ngaøy leã troïng theå.

12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

12:11 Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

12:11 (12-12) Ga-la-aùt laø gian aùc, chuùng noù chæ laø giaû doái. Chuùng noù daâng nhöõng boø ñöïc trong Ghinh-ganh; neân nhöõng baøn thôø chuùng noù gioáng nhö nhöõng ñoáng trong luoáng caøy nôi ruoäng.

12:12 And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.

12:12 (12-13) Gia-coáp troán ñeán ruoäng A-ram; Y-sô-ra-eân laøm toâi ñeå ñöôïc vôï, vaø vì ñöôïc vôï maø ngöôøi chaên caùc baày.

12:13 And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

 O se - Hosea

13:1 When Ephraim spoke trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.

13:2 And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

13:2 Vaû, baây giôø chuùng noù cöù phaïm toäi caøng ngaøy caøng theâm; duøng baïc laøm nhöõng töôïng ñuùc cho mình, nhöõng hình töôïng theo trí khoân mình; caû söï ñoù laø coâng vieäc cuûa thôï kheùo! Ngöôøi ta noùi veà chuùng noù raèng: Ñeå maëc keû daâng cuûa leã hoân boø con.

13:3 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud and as the early dew that passes away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

13:5 Ta ñaõ bieát ngöôi trong ñoàng vaéng, trong ñaát khoâ khan.

13:6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.

13:14 Ta seõ cöùu chuùng noù khoûi quyeàn löïc cuûa aâm phuû, vaø chuoäc chuùng noù ra khoûi söï cheát. Hôõi söï cheát, naøo tai vaï maày ôû ñaâu? Hôõi aâm phuû, naøo söï huûy hoaïi maày ôû ñaâu? oâi! söï aên naên seõ bò giaáu khoûi maét ta.

13:15 Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
