E sai - Isaiah

1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

1:1 Veà ñôøi OÂ-xia, Gioâ-tham, A-cha vaø EÂ-xeâ-chia, laø caùc vua nöôùc Giu-ña, thì EÂ-sai, con trai A-moát, coù söï hieän thaáy veà nöôùc Giu-ña vaø thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

1:2 Hôõi caùc töøng trôøi, haõy nghe; hôõi ñaát, haõy laéng tai; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù phaùn raèng: Ta ñaõ nuoâi naáng con caùi, tröôûng döôõng chuùng noù, song chuùng noù daáy loaïn nghòch cuøng ta.

1:3 The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel does not know, my people does not consider.

1:3 Boø bieát chuû mình, löøa bieát maùng cuûa chuû; song Y-sô-ra-eân chaúng hieåu bieát, daân ta chaúng suy nghó.

1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

1:4 Oâi! nöôùc maéc toäi, daân mang loãi naëng neà, toâng gioáng ñoäc döõ, con caùi laøm baäy baï kia! Chuùng noù ñaõ lìa boû Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, khinh lôøn Ñaáng Thaùnh cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, ñaõ trôû neân xa laï vaø lui ñi.

1:5 Why should all of you be stricken any more? all of you will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

1:5 Caùc ngöôi sao coøn cöù baïn nghòch, ñeå laïi bò ñaùnh nöõa? Ñaàu ñeàu ñau ñôùn caû, loøng ñeàu moøn moûi caû.

1:6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and rotting sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

1:6 Töø baøn chôn cho ñeán ñænh ñaàu, chaúng coù choã naøo laønh: raët nhöõng veát thöông, vít söng cuøng laèn môùi, chöa ròt, chöa quaán, cuõng chöa boâi daàu cho eâm.

1:7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

1:7 Xöù caùc ngöôi laø nôi hoang vu, thaønh caùc ngöôi bò löûa thieâu huûy; daân ngoaïi nuoát ñaát ñai caùc ngöôi tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi, hoang vu nhö bò daân ngoaïi phaù taùn.

1:8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

1:8 Con caùi Si-oân bò boû laïi nhö leàu vöôøn nho, nhö choøi ruoäng döa, nhö thaønh bò vaây.

1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

1:9 Ví baèng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân chaúng ñeå chuùng ta coøn soùt laïi chuùt ñænh, thì chuùng ta seõ gioáng thaønh Soâ-ñoâm vaø nhö thaønh Goâ-moâ-rô vaäy!

1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, all of you rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, all of you people of Gomorrah.

1:10 Hôõi caùc quan tröôûng Soâ-ñoâm, haõy nghe lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va. Hôõi daân Goâ-moâ-rô, haõy ñeå tai vaøo luaät phaùp cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta!

1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

1:11 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn: Muoân vaøn cuûa leã caùc ngöôi naøo coù can heä gì ñeán ta? Ta ñaõ chaùn cheâ cuûa leã thieâu baèng chieân ñöïc vaø môõ cuûa boø con maäp. Ta chaúng ñeïp loøng veà huyeát cuûa boø ñöïc, chieân con vaø deâ ñöïc ñaâu.

1:12 When all of you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

1:12 Khi caùc ngöôi ñeán chaàu tröôùc maët ta, ai khieán caùc ngöôi giaøy ñaïp haønh lang ta?

1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

1:13 Thoâi, ñöøng daâng cuûa leã chay voâ ích cho ta nöõa! Ta gôùm gheùt muøi höông, ngaøy traêng môùi, ngaøy sa-baùt cuøng söï rao nhoùm hoäi; ta chaúng khöùng chòu toäi aùc hoäi hieäp nôi leã troïng theå.

1:14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

1:14 Thaät, loøng ta gheùt nhöõng ngaøy traêng môùi vaø kyø leã caùc ngöôi, laø naëng neà cho ta, ta laáy laøm meät maø gaùnh laáy.

1:15 And when all of you spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when all of you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

1:15 Vaäy neân, khi caùc ngöôi giô tay, thì ta che maét khoûi caùc ngöôi. Khi caùc ngöôi caàu nguyeän röôøn raø, ta chaúng theøm nghe. Tay caùc ngöôi ñaày nhöõng maùu.

1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

1:16 Haõy röûa ñi, haõy laøm cho saïch! Haõy traùnh nhöõng vieäc aùc khoûi tröôùc maét ta. Ñöøng laøm döõ nöõa.

1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

1:17 Haõy hoïc laøm laønh, tìm kieám söï coâng bình; haõy ñôõ ñaàn keû bò haø hieáp, laøm coâng bình cho keû moà coâi, binh vöïc leõ cuûa ngöôøi goùa buïa.

1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

1:18 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn: Baây giôø haõy ñeán, cho chuùng ta bieän luaän cuøng nhau. Daàu toäi caùc ngöôi nhö hoàng ñieàu, seõ trôû neân traéng nhö tuyeát; daàu ñoû nhö son, seõ trôû neân traéng nhö loâng chieân.

1:19 If all of you be willing and obedient, all of you shall eat the good of the land:

1:19 Neáu caùc ngöôi saün loøng vaâng lôøi, seõ aên ñöôïc saûn vaät toát nhöùt cuûa ñaát.

1:20 But if all of you refuse and rebel, all of you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.

1:20 Nhöôïc baèng caùc ngöôi chaúng khöùng vaø baïn nghòch, seõ bò nuoát bôûi göôm; vì mieäng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn.

1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

1:21 Oâi! thaønh trung nghóa ñaõ hoùa ra kî nöõ, noù voán ñaày söï chaùnh tröïc, giôø ñaày nhöõng keû gieát ngöôøi!

1:22 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water:

1:22 Baïc ngöôi bieán thaønh caën, röôïu ngöôi pha loän nöôùc.

1:23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loves gifts, and follows after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them.

1:23 Caùc quan tröôûng cuûa daân ngöôi laø ñoà phaûn nghòch, laøm baïn vôùi keû troäm, moãi ngöôøi trong chuùng ñeàu öa cuûa hoái loä, ñeo ñuoåi theo taøi lôïi; chaúng laøm coâng bình cho keû moà coâi, vuï kieän cuûa ngöôøi goùa buïa chaúng ñeán cuøng chuùng noù.

1:24 Therefore says the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

1:24 Vaäy neân, Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, Ñaáng Quyeàn naêng cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, phaùn nhö vaày: Oâi! ta seõ ñöôïc thoûa loøng veà keû ñoái ñònh ta, vaø baùo traû keû cöøu thuø ta!

1:25 And I will turn my hand upon you, and thoroughly purge away your dross, and take away all your tin:

1:25 Ta seõ laïi tra tay treân ngöôi, laøm ta saïch heát caùu caën ngöôi, vaø boû heát chaát pha cuûa ngöôi.

1:26 And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counsellors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

1:26 Ta seõ laäp caùc quan xeùt cuûa ngöôi nhö ngaøy tröôùc, caùc möu só cuûa ngöôi nhö luùc ñaàu. Roài sau ngöôøi ta seõ xöng ngöôi laø thaønh coâng bình, laø aáp trung nghóa.

1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

1:27 Si-oân seõ ñöôïc chuoäc bôûi söï chaùnh tröïc, coøn keû naøo trôû laïi ñoù thì ñöôïc chuoäc bôûi söï coâng bình.

1:28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

1:28 Song nhöõng keû baïn nghòch vaø maéc toäi seõ cuøng bò huûy dieät, coøn keû boû Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ bò dieät vong.

1:29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which all of you have desired, and all of you shall be confounded for the gardens that all of you have chosen.

1:29 Vaäy caùc ngöôi seõ hoå theïn vì nhöõng caây thoâng mình öa; maéc côõ vì nhöõng vöôøn mình ñaõ choïn.

1:30 For all of you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.

1:30 Vì caùc ngöôi seõ gioáng nhö caây thoâng khoâ laù, nhö vöôøn khoâng nöôùc.

1:31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

1:31 Ngöôøi maïnh seõ nhö baõ gai, vieäc laøm cuûa noù nhö ñoùm löûa; caû hai seõ cuøng nhau chaùy, chaúng coù ai giaäp taét.

 E sai - Isaiah

2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2:1 Lôøi maø EÂ-sai, con trai A-moát, ñaõ thaáy veà Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

2:2 Seõ xaûy ra trong nhöõng ngaøy sau roát, nuùi cuûa nhaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ ñöôïc laäp vöõng treân ñænh caùc nuùi, cao hôn caùc ñoài. Moïi nöôùc seõ ñoå veà ñoù,

2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come all of you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

2:3 vaø nhieàu daân toäc seõ ñeán maø noùi raèng: Haõy ñeán; chuùng ta haõy leân nuùi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, nôi nhaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Gia-coáp: Ngaøi seõ daïy chuùng ta veà ñöôøng loái Ngaøi, chuùng ta seõ ñi trong caùc neûo Ngaøi. Vì luaät phaùp seõ ra töø Si-oân, lôøi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ ra töø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

2:4 Ngaøi seõ laøm söï phaùn xeùt trong caùc nöôùc, ñoaùn ñònh veà nhieàu daân. Baáy giôø hoï seõ laáy göôm reøn löôõi caøy, laáy giaùo reøn löôõi lieàm. Nöôùc naày chaúng coøn giaù göôm leân nghòch cuøng nöôùc khaùc, ngöôøi ta chaúng coøn taäp söï chieán tranh.

2:5 O house of Jacob, come all of you, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

2:5 Hôõi nhaø Gia-coáp, haõy ñeán, chuùng ta haõy böôùc ñi trong söï saùng cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

2:6 Therefore you have forsaken your people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

2:6 Thaät Chuùa ñaõ boû daân Ngaøi, laø nhaø Gia-coáp, vì hoï ñaày daãy tuïc phöông ñoâng, vaø boùi khoa nhö ngöôøi Phi-li-tin, laïi giao öôùc vôùi con caùi daân ngoaïi.

2:7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

2:7 Xöù noù ñaày baïc vaø vaøng, cuûa caûi voâ cuøng; xöù noù ñaày nhöõng ngöõa, xe coä voâ soá.

2:8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

2:8 Xöù noù chan chöùa nhöõng hình töôïng, hoï thôø laïy ñoà tay mình laøm ra, ñoà ngoùn tay mình taïo neân.

2:9 And the mean man bows down, and the great man humbles himself: therefore forgive them not.

2:9 Keû heøn seõ bò khuaát, ngöôøi sang seõ bò haï mình; vaäy Chuùa ñöøng tha hoï!

2:10 Enter into the rock, and hide you in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.

2:10 Ngöôi khaù vaøo nôi vaàng ñaù, aån mình trong buïi ñaát, ñaëng traùnh khoûi söï kinh khieáp Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø söï choùi saùng cuûa uy nghieâm Ngaøi.

2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

2:11 Con maét ngoù cao cuûa loaøi ngöôøi seõ bò thaáp xuoáng, söï kieâu ngaïo cuûa ngöôøi ta seõ bò haï ñi; trong ngaøy ñoù chæ Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laø toân troïng.

2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

2:12 Vì seõ coù moät ngaøy cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân ñeán treân moïi vaät kieâu caêng, ngaïo maïn, töï cao; noù seõ bò haï xuoáng;

2:13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

2:13 laïi ñeán treân moïi caây deõ cuûa Ba-san;

2:14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

2:14 cuøng treân moïi nuùi cao, moïi ñoài caû,

2:15 And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,

2:15 treân moïi thaùp cao vaø moïi vaùch thaønh vöõng beàn,

2:16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

2:16 treân moïi taøu beø cuûa Ta-reâ-si, vaø moïi vaät chi ñeïp maét.

2:17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

2:17 Söï töï cao cuûa loaøi ngöôøi seõ bò daèn xuoáng, vaø söï caäy mình cuûa ngöôøi ta seõ bò haï ñi; trong ngaøy ñoù chæ Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laø toân troïng.

2:18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

2:18 Baáy giôø caùc thaàn töôïng seõ qua heát ñi.

2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake terribly the earth.

2:19 Ngöôøi ta seõ vaøo trong hang ñaù, trong haàm ñaát, ñaëng traùnh khoûi söï kinh khieáp Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø seõ choùi saùng cuûa uy nghieâm Ngaøi, khi Ngaøi daáy leân ñaëng laøm ruùng ñoäng ñaát caùch maïnh laém.

2:20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

2:20 Trong ngaøy ñoù, ngöôøi ta seõ neùm cho chuoät cho dôi nhöõng thaàn töôïng baèng baïc baèng vaøng maø hoï laøm ra cho mình thôø laïy;

2:21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the rugged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake terribly the earth.

2:21 vaø vaøo trong hang ñaù, trong keõ ñaù, ñaëng traùnh khoûi söï kinh khieáp Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø söï choùi saùng cuûa uy nghieâm Ngaøi, khi Ngaøi daáy leân ñaëng laøm ruùng ñoäng ñaát caùch maïnh laém.

2:22 Cease all of you from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

2:22 Chôù caäy ôû loaøi ngöôøi, laø loaøi coù hôi thôû trong loã muõi; vì hoï naøo coù ñaùng keå gì ñaâu?

 E sai - Isaiah

3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, does take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.

3:1 Naày, Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, seõ caát laáy choùi vaø gaäy khoûi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem vaø Giu-ña, töùc laø caû baùnh noù caäy vaø caû nöôùc noù nhôø.

3:2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

3:2 Ngaøi seõ caát laáy nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh meõ, chieán só, quan xeùt, ñaáng tieân tri, thaày boùi, tröôûng laõo,

3:3 The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

3:3 cai ñoäi, doøng quí phaùi, möu só, löông coâng, vaø thuaät só.

3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

3:4 Ta seõ ban cho hoï nhöõng ngöôøi trai treû laøm quan tröôûng, vaø con nít seõ cai trò hoï.

3:5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

3:5 Daân söï haø hieáp nhau, ngöôøi vôùi ngöôøi, laân caän vôùi laân caän; con nít laán löôùt keû giaø caû, ngöôøi heøn haï laán löôùt ngöôøi toân troïng.

3:6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, You have clothing, be you our ruler, and let this ruin be under your hand:

3:6 Khi moät ngöôøi seõ baét anh em mình taïi nhaø cha maø noùi vôùi raèng: Ngöôi coù aùo choaøng; haõy laøm ñaàu chuùng ta, vaø söï baïi hoaïi naày haõy thuoäc veà döôùi tay ngöôi!

3:7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

3:7 Trong ngaøy ñoù ngöôøi kia leân tieáng ñaùp raèng: Khoâng, ta khoâng laøm thaày chöõa laønh, vaø trong nhaø ta khoâng coù baùnh cuõng khoâng coù aùo; chôù laäp ta laøm quan cai daân söï.

3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

3:8 Gieâ-ru-sa-lem phaûi nghieâng uùp, vaø Giu-ña xieâu ñoå; vì lôøi noùi vieäc laøm cuûa hoï nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø treâu choïc con maét cuûa uy nghieâm Ngaøi.

3:9 The show of their countenance does witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

3:9 Boä maët hoï laøm chöùng nghòch cuøng mình; hoï beâu toäi roõ raøng nhö thaønh Soâ-ñoâm chaúng giaáu chuùt naøo. Khoán thay cho linh hoàn hoï! vì hoï ñaõ laøm haïi cho mình!

3:10 Say all of you to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

3:10 Haõy rao cho keû coâng bình ñöôïc phöôùc; vì hoï seõ aên traùi cuûa vieäc laøm mình.

3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

3:11 Khoán cho keû hung aùc, aét mang hoïa! Vì hoï seõ thaâu laïi vieäc töï tay mình laøm ra!

3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead you cause you to go astray, and destroy the way of your paths.

3:12 Daân ta bò con nít haø hieáp, vaø ñôøn baø cai trò noù. Hôõi daân ta, keû daãn ngöôi laøm cho ngöôi sai laïc, vaø hoï phaù hoaïi ñöôøng loái ngöôi.

3:13 The LORD stands up to plead, and stands to judge the people.

3:13 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va daáy leân ñaëng bieän luaän, Ngaøi ñöùng maø xeùt ñoaùn caùc daân.

3:14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for all of you have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

3:14 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va xeùt ñoaùn caùc tröôûng laõo cuûa daân Ngaøi vôùi caùc quan tröôûng noù: Aáy chính caùc ngöôi laø keû ñaõ nuoát vöôøn nho; cuûa cöôùp boùc keû ngheøo ñöông ôû trong nhaø caùc ngöôi!

3:15 What mean all of you that all of you beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? says the Lord GOD of hosts.

3:15 Caùc ngöôi coù yù gì maø ñeø eùp daân ta, giaøy voø maët keû ngheøo khoù? Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, phaùn vaäy.

3:16 Moreover the LORD says, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and moving enticingly as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

3:16 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laïi phaùn raèng: Vì nhöõng con gaùi Si-oân kieâu ngaïo, ngoùng coå böôùc tôùi, lieác maét treâu ngöôi, vöøa ñi oõng eïo, vöøa khua ñoäng tieáng döôùi chôn,

3:17 Therefore the LORD will strike with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

3:17 neân Chuùa seõ laøm cho ñænh ñaàu con gaùi Si-oân ñoùng vaûy, vaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ loät truoàng chuùng noù.

3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

3:18 Trong ngaøy ñoù, Chuùa seõ caát nhöõng voøng maét caù hoï trang söùc ñi, caùi löôùi vaø caùi caøi;

3:19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the covering for the lower part of the face,

3:19 hoa tai, xuyeán vaø luùp;

3:20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,

3:20 maõo, chuyeàn maét caù, nít löng, hôïp höông vaø buøa ñeo;

3:21 The rings, and nose jewels,

3:21 caø raù vaø khoen ñeo muõi;

 E sai - Isaiah

5:1 Now will I sing to my beloved a song of my beloved concerning his vineyard. My beloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

5:1 Ta seõ haùt cho baïn raát yeâu daáu ta moät baøi ca cuûa baïn yeâu daáu ta veà vieäc vöôøn nho ngöôøi. Baïn raát yeâu daáu ta coù moät vöôøn nho ôû treân goø ñaát toát.

5:2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the best vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

5:2 Ngöôøi khai phaù ra; caát boû nhöõng ñaù; troàng nhöõng goác nho xinh toát; döïng moät caùi thaùp giöõa vöôøn, vaø ñaøo moät nôi eùp röôïu. Vaû, ngöôøi mong raèng seõ sanh traùi nho; nhöng noù laïi sanh traùi nho hoang.

5:3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, between me and my vineyard.

5:3 Hôõi daân ôû Gieâ-ru-sa-lem cuøng ngöôøi Giu-ña, vaäy thì baây giôø ta xin caùc ngöôi haõy ñoaùn xeùt giöõa ta vôùi vöôøn nho ta.

5:4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

5:4 Coù ñieàu chi neân laøm cho vöôøn nho ta maø ta khoâng laøm cho noù chaêng? Côù sao khi ta mong sanh traùi nho, thì noù laïi sanh traùi nho hoang vaäy?

5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

5:5 Naày, ta seõ baûo caùc ngöôi veà ñieàu ta ñònh laøm cho vöôøn nho ta: Ta phaù raøo, noù seõ bò caén nuoát; ta haï töôøng xuoáng, noù seõ bò giaøy ñaïp.

5:6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor dug; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

5:6 Ta seõ ñeå noù hoang loaïn, chaúng tæa söûa, chaúng vun xôùi; nhöng taïi ñoù seõ moïc leân nhöõng gai goác vaø chaø chuoâm; ta laïi truyeàn cho maây ñöøng laøm möa xuoáng treân noù nöõa.

5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

5:7 Vaû, vöôøn nho cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, aáy laø nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø nhöõng ngöôøi cuûa Giu-ña töùc laø caây maø Ngaøi öa thích. Ngaøi troâng hoï ñöôïc coâng chính, maø naày, coù söï baïo ngöôïc; troâng ñöôïc coâng bình, maø naày, coù tieáng keâu la.

5:8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

5:8 Khoán thay cho nhöõng keû theâm nhaø vaøo nhaø, theâm ruoäng vaøo ruoäng, cho ñeán chöøng naøo chaúng coøn choã hôû nöõa, vaø caùc ngöôi ôû moät mình giöõa xöù!

5:9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Truthfully many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

5:9 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân coù phaùn vaøo tai toâi nhöõng lôøi naày: Thaät nhieàu nhaø seõ boû hoang, nhöõng nhaø aáy lôùn vaø ñeïp maø chaúng coù ngöôøi ôû!

5:10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

5:10 Aáy vaäy, möôøi maãu vöôøn nho chæ sanh ñöôïc moät baùt röôïu; moät oâ-me hoät gioáng chæ ñöôïc moät eâ-pha.

5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

5:11 Khoán thay cho keû daäy sôùm ñaëng tìm kieám röôïu, chaày ñeán ban ñeâm, phaùt noùng vì röôïu!

5:12 And the harp, and the viol, the timbrel, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

5:12 Trong tieäc yeán hoï coù nhöõng ñôøn caàm, ñôøn saét, troáng côm, oáng saùo vaø röôïu nöõa, nhöõng chaúng thieát ñeán coâng vieäc Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; hoï chaúng xem xeùt coâng trình cuûa tay Ngaøi.

5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

5:13 Vaäy neân, daân ta phaûi baét laøm phu tuø, vì khoâng hieåu bieát; keû sang noù chòu ñoùi, chuùng daân noù chòu khaùt.

5:14 Therefore hell has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it.

5:14 Vaäy neân söï ham muoán cuûa aâm phuû ñaõ roäng theâm, haû mieäng voâ ngaàn, söï vinh hieån noù, daân chuùng noù, söï sang troïng noù ñeàu sa xuoáng ñoù.

5:15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

5:15 Keû heøn bò khuaát; keû toân troïng bò thaáp heøn, con maét ngöôøi cao ngaïo bò haï xuoáng;

5:16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

5:16 song Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân leân cao trong söï coâng chính, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø Ñaáng Thaùnh neân thaùnh trong söï coâng bình.

5:17 Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

5:17 Baáy giôø nhöõng chieân con seõ aên coû nhö trong ñoàng coû mình, ngöôøi nguï cö seõ aên ruoäng hoang cuûa keû giaøu.

5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:

5:18 Khoán thay cho keû laáy söï doái traù laøm daây keùo söï gian aùc theo sau, vaø nhö duøng ñoûi xe keùo toäi loãi;

5:19 That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

5:19 hoï noùi: Xin voäi vaõ kíp laøm neân coâng vieäc Ngaøi, haàu cho chuùng toâi thaáy! Nguyeàn xin möu cuûa Ñaáng Thaùnh Y-sô-ra-eân haõy laïi gaàn, haõy tôùi ñeán, cho chuùng toâi ñöôïc bieát!

5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

5:20 Khoán thay cho keû goïi döõ laø laønh, goïi laønh laø döõ; laáy toái laøm saùng, laáy saùng laøm toái; vaäy chi cay trôû cho laø ngoït, vaät chi ngoït trôû cho laø cay.

5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

5:21 Khoán thay cho keû chính maét mình coi mình laø khoân ngoan, töï mình xeùt ñoaùn mình laø thoâng saùng!

5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

5:22 Khoán thay cho keû maïnh uoáng röôïu, coù söùc löïc ñaëng pha caùc thöùc uoáng hay say;

5:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

5:23 vì hoái loä maø xöng keû coù toäi laø coâng bình, vaø cöôùp laáy söï coâng bình cuûa ngöôøi nghóa!

5:24 Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

5:24 Vaäy neân, nhö löûa ñoát goác raï vaø rôm chaùy thieâu trong ngoïn löûa theå naøo, thì reã hoï cuøng muïc naùt vaø hoa hoï cuøng bay ñi nhö buïi ñaát theå aáy; vì hoï ñaõ boû luaät phaùp cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, vaø khinh lôøi cuûa Ñaáng Thaùnh Y-sô-ra-eân.

5:25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he has stretched forth his hand against them, and has smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcasses were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

5:25 Nhôn ñoù, côn thaïnh noä cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phöøng leân nghòch cuøng daân Ngaøi. 5:26 And he will lift up an explicit sign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

5:26 Ngaøi döïng côø leân höôùng veà caùc daân toäc ôû xa caùch, vaø xuyùt maø goïi hoï töø nôi ñaàu cuøng ñaát; vaø naày, hoï laät ñaät chaïy ñeán, kíp vaø mau.

5:27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

5:27 Trong ñaùm hoï khoâng moät ngöôøi naøo moûi meät, chaúng ai vaáp vaùp, chaúng ai nguû gaät hoaëc nguû meâ; khoâng ai coù daây löng thaùo ra hoaëc daây giaøy ñöùt.

5:28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:

5:28 Teân cuûa hoï ñaõ nhoïn, cung ñaõ giöông; voù ngöïa cöùng döôøng ñaù, baùnh xe nhö gioù loác.

5:29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

5:29 Tieáng gaàm khaùc naøo sö töû caùi; roáng nhö sö töû con; chuùng noù seõ roáng vaø baét moài ñem ñi, khoâng ai cöùu ñöôïc.

5:30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

5:30 Trong ngaøy ñoù, seõ coù tieáng gaàm nghòch cuøng noù khaùc naøo tieáng soùng bieån aàm aàm; neáu ngöôøi ta noù vaøo xöù, chæ thaáy toái taêm vaø khoán naïn: söï saùng seõ bò che toái böôùc caùc choøm maây.

 E sai - Isaiah

6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

6:1 Veà naêm vua OÂ-xia baêng, toâi thaáy Chuùa ngoài treân ngoâi cao sang, vaït aùo cuûa Ngaøi ñaày daãy ñeàn thôø.

6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.

6:2 Nhöõng seâ-ra-phin ñöùng beân treân Ngaøi; moãi seâ-ra-phin coù saùu caùnh, hai caùi che maët, hai caùi che chôn vaø hai caùi duøng ñeå bay.

6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

6:3 Caùc seâ-ra-phin cuøng nhau keâu leân raèng: Thaùnh thay, thaùnh thay, thaùnh thay laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân! Khaép ñaát ñaày daãy söï vinh hieån Ngaøi!

6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

6:4 Nhôn tieáng keâu ñoù, caùc neàn ngaïch cöûa ruùng ñoäng, vaø ñeàn ñaày nhöõng khoùi.

6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

6:5 Baáy giôø toâi noùi: Khoán naïn cho toâi! Xong ñôøi toâi roài! Vì toâi laø ngöôøi coù moâi dô daùy, ôû giöõa moät daân coù moâi dô daùy, bôûi maét toâi ñaõ thaáy Vua, töùc laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân!

6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

6:6 Baáy giôø moät seâ-ra-phin bay ñeán toâi, tay caàm than löûa ñoû maø ñaõ duøng kieàm gaép nôi baøn thôø,

6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this has touched your lips; and yours iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.

6:7 ñeå treân mieäng ta, maø noùi raèng: Naày, caùi naày ñaõ chaïm ñeán moâi ngöôi; loãi ngöôi ñöôïc boû roài, toäi ngöôi ñöôïc tha roài.

6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

6:8 Ñoaïn, toâi nghe tieáng Chuùa phaùn raèng: Ta seõ sai ai ñi? Ai seõ ñi cho chuùng ta? Toâi thöa raèng: Coù toâi ñaây; xin haõy sai toâi.

6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear all of you indeed, but understand not; and see all of you indeed, but perceive not.

6:9 Ngaøi phaùn: Ñi ñi! noùi vôùi daân naày raèng: Caùc ngöôi haõy nghe, nhöng chaúng hieåu chi; haõy xem, nhöng chaúng thaáy chi.

6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

6:10 Haõy laøm cho daân aáy beùo loøng, naëng tai, nhaém maét, e raèng maét noù thaáy ñöôïc, tai noù nghe ñöôïc, loøng noù hieåu ñöôïc, noù trôû laïi vaø ñöôïc chöõa laønh chaêng!

6:11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

6:11 Toâi laïi noùi: Laïy Chuùa, cho ñeán chöøng naøo? Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Cho ñeán chöøng caùc thaønh bò hoang vu, khoâng coù daân ôû, nhaø khoâng coù ngöôøi, vaø ñaát ñaõ neân hoang vu caû;

6:12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

6:12 cho ñeán chöøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va dôøi daân ñi xa, vaø trong xöù raát laø tieâu ñieàu.

6:13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

6:13 Giaû söû coøn laïi moät phaàn möôøi daân cö taïi ñoù, hoï seõ laïi bò thieâu nuoát. Nhöng, nhö khi ngöôøi ta haï caây thoâng caây deõ, chöøa goác noù laïi, thì cuõng vaäy, gioáng thaùnh laø goác cuûa noù.

 E sai - Isaiah

7:1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

7:1 Veà ñôøi A-cha, con trai Gioâ-tham, chaùu OÂ-xia, vua nöôùc Giu-ña, xaûy coù Reâ-xin, vua xöù Sy-ri, vaø Pheâ-ca, con trai Reâ-ma-lia, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, leân ñaùnh thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; nhöng khoâng thaéng ñöôïc.

7:2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

7:2 Coù ngöôøi vaùo tin ñoù cho nhaø Ña-vít, maø raèng: Sy-ri keát minh cuøng Eùp-ra-im. Baáy giôø A-cha vaø daân söï ngöôøi trong loøng kinh ñoäng, nhö caây treân röøng bò gioù day.

7:3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, you, and Shearjashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the launderer's field;

7:3 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va beøn phaùn cuøng EÂ-sai raèng: Ngöôi cuøng con trai ngöôi laø Seâ -a-Gia-ruùp haõy ñi ñoùn A-cha taïi nôi cuoái coáng ao treân, treân ñöôøng caùi ruoäng thôï neän,

7:4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

7:4 maø noùi cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Haõy caån thaän, ôû yeân laëng; ñöøng sôï chi, loøng ngöôi chôù buûn ruûn vì côù hai ñuoâi ñuoác coù khoùi, töùc laø vì côn giaän döõ cuûa Reâ-xin vaø Sy-ri, vaø cuûa con trai Reâ-ma-lia.

7:5 Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against you, saying,

7:5 Vì Sy-ri vôùi Eùp-ra-im vaø con trai cuûa Reâ-ma-lia ñoàng möu haïi ngöôi, noùi raèng:

7:6 Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:

7:6 Chuùng ta haõy leân nghòch cuøng Giu-ña, khuaáy roái noù, phaù thaønh vaø laäp moät vua giöõa noù, töùc laø con trai cuûa Ta-beâ-eân.

7:7 Thus says the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

7:7 Chuùa laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn nhö vaày: Söï ngaêm ñe aáy khoâng thaønh, ñieàu ñoù khoâng xaûy ra!

7:8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

7:8 Vì ñaàu cuûa Sy-ri laø Ña-maùch, ñaàu cuûa Ña-maùch laø Reâ-xin. Coøn trong saùu möôi laêm naêm, Eùp-ra-im seõ bò huûy dieät, khoâng ñöôïc keå laø daân nöõa.

7:9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If all of you will not believe, surely all of you shall not be established.

7:9 Ñaàu cuûa Eùp-ra-im laø Sa-ma-ri, ñaàu Sa-ma-ri laø con trai cuûa Reâ-ma-lia. Neáu caùc ngöôi khoâng tin, chaéc seõ khoâng ñöùng vöõng ñöôïc.

7:10 Moreover the LORD spoke again unto Ahaz, saying,

7:10 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laïi phaùn cuøng A-cha raèng:

7:11 Ask you a sign of the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

7:11 Haõy xin Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi moät ñieàm, hoaëc döôùi vöïc saâu, hoaëc treân trôøi cao.

7:12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

7:12 A-cha thöa raèng: Toâi seõ chaúng xin toâi cuõng chaúng thöû Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

7:13 And he said, Hear all of you now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will all of you weary my God also?

7:13 EÂ-sai beøn noùi raèng: Hôõi nhaø Ña-vít, haõy nghe! Caùc ngöôi cho laøm phieàn ngöôøi ta laø nhoû moïn, maø muoán laøm phieàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta nöõa sao?

7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

7:14 Vaäy neân, chính Chuùa seõ ban moät ñieàm cho caùc ngöôi: naày moät gaùi ñoàng trinh seõ chòu thai, sanh ra moät trai, vaø ñaët treân laø Em-ma-nu-eân.

7:15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

7:15 Con treû aáy seõ aên môõ söõa vaø maät, cho ñeán chöøng naøo bieát boû ñieàu döõ vaø choïn ñieàu laønh.

7:16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that you abhor shall be forsaken of both her kings.

 E sai - Isaiah

8:1 Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take you a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.

8:1 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng toâi raèng: Haõy laáy moät caùi baûng roäng vaø vieát leân treân baèng buùt loaøi ngöôøi raèng: Ma-he-Sa-la-Haùt-Baùt.

8:2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

8:2 Toâi ñem theo nhöõng keû laøm chöùng ñaùng tin, töùc laø U-ri, thaày teá leã, vaø Xa-cha-ri, con trai cuûa Gieâ-beâ-reâ-kia.

8:3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

8:3 Ñoaïn, toâi ñeán nhaø nöõ tieân tri; ngöôøi chòu thai vaø sanh moät con trai. Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va beøn phaùn cuøng toâi raèng: Haõy ñaët teân noù laø Ma-he-Sa-la-Haùt-Baùt

8:4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.

8:4 Vì, tröôùc khi con treû bieát keâu: Cha ôi! meï ôi! thì ngöôøi ta seõ caát laáy söï giaøu coù Ña-maùch vaø cuûa cöôùp Sa-ma-ri tröôùc maët vua A-si-ri.

8:5 The LORD spoke also unto me again, saying,

8:5 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laïi phaùn cuøng toâi raèng:

8:6 Forasmuch as this people refuses the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;

8:6 Vì daân naày ñaõ khinh boû caùc doøng nöôùc Si-loâ-eâ chaûy dòu, vaø öa thích Reâ-xin cuøng con trai cuûa Reâ-ma-lia.

8:7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord brings up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:

8:7 Vì côù ñoù, naày, Chuùa seõ khieán nöôùc Soâng maïnh vaø nhieàu ñeán treân hoï, töùc laø vua A-si-ri vaø caû oai vinh ngöôøi; noù seõ daáy leân khaép treân loøng soâng, khoûa leân caùc böïc;

8:8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel.

8:8 chaûy vaøo Giu-ña, traøn lan chaûy xoùi, ngaäp cho ñeán coå; hôõi Em-ma-nu-eân, noù seø caùnh ra che caû xöù ngöôi.

8:9 Associate yourselves, O all of you people, and all of you shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all you of far countries: gird yourselves, and all of you shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and all of you shall be broken in pieces.

8:9 Hôõi caùc daân, haõy keâu la vaø bò tan naùt! Hôõi caùc ngöôi heát thaûy, laø daân caùc phöông xa, haõy laéng tai! Haõy nòt löng caùc ngöôi, vaø bò tan naùt!

8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

8:10 Haõy toan möu cuøng nhau, noù seõ neân hö khoâng; haõy noùi, lôøi caùc ngöôi seõ khoâng ñöùng, vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ôû cuøng chuùng ta.

8:11 For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

8:11 Vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va duøng tay maïnh phaùn cuøng ta, vaø daïy ta ñöøng noi theo ñöôøng daân aáy,

8:12 Say all of you not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear all of you their fear, nor be afraid.

8:12 raèng: Khi daân naày noùi raèng: Keát ñaûng! thì caùc ngöôi chôù noùi raèng: Keát ñaûng! Chôù sôï ñieàu noù sôï, vaø ñöøng kinh haõi.

8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

8:13 Haõy toân Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân laø thaùnh; caùc ngöôi chæ neân sôï Ngaøi vaø kinh haõi Ngaøi.

8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a animal trap and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

8:14 Ngaøi seõ laø nôi thaùnh, nhöng cuõng laø hoøn ñaù vaáp ngaõ, vaàng ñoù vöôùng maéc cho caû hai nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø laø baãy cuøng löôùi cho daân cö thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem vaäy.

8:15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

8:15 Nhieàu ngöôøi trong boïn hoï seõ vaáp chôn; seõ teù vaø giaäp naùt; seõ sa vaøo löôùi vaø bò baét.

8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

8:16 Ngöôi haõy goùi lôøi chöùng naày, nieâm phong luaät phaùp naày trong moân ñoà ta!

8:17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

8:17 Toâi troâng ñôïi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, laø Ñaáng aån maët Ngaøi khoûi nhaø Gia-coáp, toâi vaãn ngoùng troâng Ngaøi!

8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwells in mount Zion.

8:18 Naày, toâi ñaây, vôùi con caùi maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ ban cho toâi, laø daáu vaø ñieàm trong Y-sô-ra-eân, bôûi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân ngöï treân nuùi Si-oân.

8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mumble: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

8:19 Neáu coù ai baûo caùc ngöôi: Haõy caàu hoûi ñoàng boùng vaø thaày boùi, laø keû noùi ruùi rít líu lo, thì haõy ñaùp raèng: Moät daân toäc haù chaúng neân caàu hoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình sao? Haù laïi vì ngöôøi soáng maø hoûi keû cheát sao?

8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

8:20 Haõy theo luaät phaùp vaø lôøi chöùng! Neáu daân chaúng noùi nhö vaäy, chaéc seõ chaúng coù raïng ñoâng cho noù.

8:21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

8:21 Noù seõ ñi löu laïc treân ñaát, khoán khoå ñoùi khaùt; trong côn ñoùi, noù böïc mình, nguyeàn ruûa vua vaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình. Noù seõ ngöôùc xem treân cao;

8:22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

8:22 roài cuùi xem döôùi ñaát, chæ thaáy söï hoaïn naïn vaø môø mòt, chæ thaáy boùng buoàn raàu: noù seõ bò ñuoåi vaøo nôi toái taêm môø mòt.

 E sai - Isaiah

9:1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

9:1 (8-23) Nhöng, cho ngöôøi ñaõ chòu buoàn raàu thì seõ khoâng coù söï môø mòt. Trong ñôøi xöa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ haï ñaát Sa-bu-loân vaø ñaát Neùp-ta-li xuoáng; nhöng trong kyø sau Ngaøi ñaõ laøm cho ñaát gaàn meù bieån, töùc laø nôi beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh, trong xöù Ga-li-leâ cuûa daân ngoaïi, ñöôïc vinh hieån.

9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined.

9:2 (9 -1) Daân ñi trong nôi toái taêm ñaõ thaáy söï saùng lôùn; vaø söï saùng ñaõ chieáu treân nhöõng keû ôû xöù thuoäc veà boùng cuûa söï cheát.

9:3 You have multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before you according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

9:3 (9 -2) Chuùa ñaõ laøm cho daân naày theâm nhieàu; vaø theâm söï vui cho hoï. Moïi ngöôøi ñeàu vui möøng tröôùc maët Chuùa, nhö vui möøng trong ngaøy muøa gaët, nhö ngöôøi ta reo vui trong luùc chia cuûa cöôùp.

9:4 For you have broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

9:4 (9 -3) Vì Chuùa ñaõ beû caùi aùch hoï mang, caùi roi ñaùnh treân vai hoï, caùi gaäy cuûa keû haø hieáp, nhö trong ngaøy cuûa Ma-ñi-an.

9:5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

9:5 (9 -4) Caû giaøy deùp cuûa keû ñaùnh giaëc trong khi giao chieán, cuøng caû aùo xoáng vaáy maùu, ñeàu duøng ñeå ñoát vaø laøm ñoà chuïm löûa.

9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

9:6 (9 -5) Vì coù moät con treû sanh cho chuùng ta, töùc laø moät con trai ban cho chuùng ta; quyeàn cai trò seõ naáy treân vai Ngaøi. Ngaøi seõ ñöôïc xöng laø Ñaáng Laï luøng, laø Ñaáng Möu luaän, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi Quyeàn naêng, laø Cha Ñôøi ñôøi, laø Chuùa Bình an.

9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

9:7 (9 -6) Quyeàn cai trò vaø söï bình an cuûa Ngaøi cöù theâm maõi khoâng thoâi, ôû treân ngoâi Ña-vít vaø treân nöôùc Ngaøi, ñaëng laøm cho nöôùc beàn vöõng, vaø laäp leân trong söï chaùnh tröïc coâng bình, töø nay cho ñeán ñôøi ñôøi. 9:8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it has lighted upon Israel.

9:8 (9 -7) Chuùa ñaõ giaùng moät lôøi trong Gia-coáp, vaø lôøi aáy ñoå xuoáng treân Y-sô-ra-eân.

9:9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,

9:9 (9 -8) Caû daân seõ bieát ñieàu ñoù, töùc laø Eùp-ra-im cuøng daân cö Sa-ma-ri, hoï ñem loøng kieâu caêng yû thò maø noùi raèng:

9:10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

9:10 (9 -9) Gaïch ñaõ ñoå, nhöng chuùng ta seõ xaây baèng ñaù ñeõo; caây sung ñaõ bò ñoán, nhöng chuùng ta seõ thay baèng caây höông baùch.

9:11 Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together;

9:11 (9-10) Vaäy neân, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ khieán keû ñoái ñòch ôû Reâ-xin daáy leân nghòch cuøng daân söï, vaø khích choïc keû cöøu thuø,

9:12 (9-11) daân Sy-ri ñaèng tröôùc, daân Phi-li-tin ñaèng sau, haû mieäng nuoát Y-sô-ra-eân. Daàu vaäy, côn giaän Ngaøi chaúng laùnh khoûi, nhöng tay Ngaøi coøn giô ra!

9:13 For the people turns not unto him that strikes them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

9:13 (9-12) Nhöng maø daân söï chaúng xaây veà Ñaáng ñaùnh mình, chaúng tin Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân.

9:14 Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.

9:14 (9-13) Cho neân chæ trong moät ngaøy, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ döùt ñaàu vaø ñuoâi, caây keø vaø caây laùc cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

9:15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teaches lies, he is the tail.

9:15 (9-14) Ñaàu, töùc laø tröôûng laõo vaø keû toân troïng; ñuoâi, töùc laø ngöôøi tieân tri daïy söï noùi doái.

9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to go astray; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

9:16 (9-15) Nhöõng keû daét daân naày laøm cho hoï sai laïc, coøn nhöõng keû chòu daét bò dieät maát.

9:17 Therefore the LORD shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

9:17 (9-16) Vaäy neân, Chuùa chaúng ñeïp loøng veà boïn trai treû cuûa hoï, vaø chaúng thöông xoùt ñeán keû moà coâi goùa buïa chuùt naøo; vì hoï ñeàu laø khinh lôøn, gian aùc, mieäng naøo cuõng noùi ñieàu caøn dôõ. Daàu vaäy, côn giaän Ngaøi chaúng laùnh khoûi, nhöng tay Ngaøi coøn giô ra!

9:18 For wickedness burns as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.

9:18 (9-17) Vì söï hung aùc höøng leân nhö löûa thieâu chaùy gai goác vaø chaø chuoâm, ñoát caùc nôi raäm trong röøng, truï khoùi cuoän leân.

9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.

9:19 (9-18) Ñaát bò thieâu ñoát bôûi côn giaän cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, daân söï trôû neân moài cuûa löûa; chaúng ai thöông tieác anh em mình.

9:20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:

9:20 (9-19) Coù keû cöôùp beân höõu, maø vaãn cöù ñoùi; coù keû aên beân taû, maø chaúng ñöôïc no; ai naáy aên thòt mình chính caùnh tay mình.

9:21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

9:21 (9-20) Ma-na-se nghòch cuøng Eùp-ra-im, Eùp-ra-im nghòch cuøng Ma-na-se, vaø caû hai ñeàu nghòch cuøng Giu-ña! Daàu vaäy, côn giaän cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va chaúng laùnh khoûi, nhöng tay Ngaøi coøn giô ra.

 E sai - Isaiah

10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

10:1 Khoán thay cho nhöõng keû laäp luaät khoâng coâng bình, cho nhöõng keû cheùp lôøi traùi leõ,

10:3 And what will all of you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will all of you flee for help? and where will all of you leave your glory?

10:3 Tôùi ngaøy thaêm phaït, khi hoïa hoaïn töø xa maø ñeán, caùc ngöôi seõ laøm theå naøo? Caùc ngöôi troán ñeán cuøng ai ñeå caàu cöùu, vaø ñeå söï vinh hieån mình ôû nôi naøo?

10:5 Hôõi A-si-ri, laø caùi roi cuûa söï thaïnh noä ta! Caùi gaäy caàm trong tay noù laø söï töùc giaän cuûa ta vaäy!

10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

10:6 Ta seõ sai noù nghòch cuøng moät nöôùc chaúng tin kính; khieán noù ñi ñaùnh moät daân maø ta noåi giaän, ñeå cöôùp laáy, boùc loät, vaø giaøy ñaïp chuùng noù nhö buøn ngoaøi ñöôøng.

10:7 Nevertheless he means not so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.

10:7 Nhöng noù khoâng coù yù theá, trong loøng noù chaúng nghó nhö vaäy: laïi thích phaù haïi, vaø huûy dieät nhieàu daân.

10:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

10:12 Neân seõ xaûy ra khi Chuùa ñaõ laøm xong caû vieäc treân nuùi Si-oân vaø taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, thì chính ta seõ haønh phaït nhöõng boâng traùi bôûi loøng kieâu ngaïo vaø söï vinh hieån cuûa con maét ngoù cao cuûa vua A-si-ri.

10:13 For he says, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:

10:13 Vì ngöôøi noùi raèng: Ta ñaõ laøm ñieàu ñoù bôûi söùc maïnh cuûa tay ta, bôûi söï khoân ngoan ta, vaø ta laø thoâng minh. Ta ñaõ dôøi ñoåi giôùi haïn caùc daân; ñaõ cöôùp cuûa quí hoï, nhö moät ngöôøi maïnh ñaõ laøm cho nhöõng keû ñöông ngoài phaûi xuoáng.

15:1 The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence;

15:2 He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall wail over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.

15:2 Kìa, chuùng leân nôi mieáu caùc thaàn, ñeán Ñi-hoân, treân caùc nôi cao maø khoùc. Daân Moâ-aùp than vaõn vì Neâ-boâ vaø Meâ-ñeâ-ba; moïi ñaàu ñeàu soùi, moïi raâu ñeàu caét.

15:3 In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall wail, weeping abundantly.

15:3 Thaûy ñeàu thaét bao gai trong caùc ñöôøng phoá; thaûy ñeàu khoùc loùc, sa nhieàu nöôùc maét, treân noùc nhaø vaø nôi saân chôï.

15:4 And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.

15:5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.

15:5 Loøng ta ngaäm nguøi vì Moâ-aùp; keû sang noù troán chaïy ñeán Xoa, vaø ñeán EÂ-laùt-Seâ-li-sia. Vì hoï vöøa treøo leân ñeøo Lu-hít vöøa khoùc; vì baïi hoaïi maø keâu van treân con ñöôøng Hoâ-roâ-na-im.

15:9 Soâng ngoøi ôû Ñi-moân ñaày nhöõng maùu; vì ta seõ coøn theâm tai vaï cho Ñi-moân, sai sö töû ñuoåi kòp nhöõng ngöôøi Noâ-aùp thoaùt naïn, vaø nhöõng keû coøn soùt laïi trong xöù.

16:1 Send all of you the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.

16:2 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

16:3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make your shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; betray not him that wanders.

16:3 Ngöôi haõy laäp möu, haõy laøm söï coâng bình, ñang luùc giöõa tröa haõy phuû boùng ngöôi nhö ban ñeâm; haõy che giaáu keû bò ñuoåi; chôù böôi moùc keû troán traùnh!

16:4 Let mine outcasts dwell with you, Moab; be you a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortionist is at an end, the spoiler ceases, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

16:4 Haõy cho pheùp nhöõng keû bò ñuoåi cuûa ta truù nguï nôi ngöôi! Haõy laøm nôi aån naùu cho Moâ-aùp khoûi maët keû taøn haïi! Vì keû cöôùp giöït ñaõ maát, söï taøn haïi ñaõ heát, keû giaøy ñaïy ñaõ bò dieät khoûi ñaát naày.

16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

16:5 Aáy vaäy, ngoâi seõ bôûi söï nhôn töø maø beàn laäp; vaø trong traïi Ña-vít seõ coù moät Ñaáng laáy leõ thaät ngoài leân, seõ ñoaùn xeùt, seõ tìm söï ngay thaúng, vaø voäi vaøng laøm söï coâng bình.

16:8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.

16:9 Vaäy neân ta vì caây nho cuûa Síp-ma maø khoùc loùc nhö Gia-eâ-xe. Hôõi Heát-boân, hôõi EÂ-leâ -a-leâ, ta seõ töôùi nöôùc maét ta treân caùc ngöôi; vì ñöông luùc traùi muøa haï vaø maøu gaët thì coù tieáng reo cuûa giaëc xaûy ñeán.

16:10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.

16:12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.

19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

19:1 Gaùnh naëng veà EÂ-díp-toâ. Naày, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va côõi ñaùm maây mau kíp ñeán EÂ-díp-toâ; caùc thaàn töôïng cuûa EÂ-díp-toâ ñeàu run raåy tröôùc maët Ngaøi, loøng EÂ-díp-toâ seõ tan chaûy giöõa noù.

19:2 Ta seõ xui ngöôøi EÂ-díp-toâ ñaùnh ngöôøi EÂ-díp-toâ: anh em nghòch cuøng anh em, laân caän nghòch cuøng laân caän, thaønh nghòch cuøng thaønh, nöôùc nghòch cuøng nöôùc.

19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

19:3 Taâm thaàn EÂ-díp-toâ seõ luïn baïi giöõa noù, ta seõ phaù tan möu chöôùc noù. Baáy giôø chuùng noù seõ caàu hoûi caùc thaàn töôïng cuøng thuaät só, keû keâu hoàn cuøng thaày boùi.

19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

22:9 All of you have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and all of you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.

22:9 Caùc ngöôi thaáy thaønh Ña-vít bò nhieàu nôi söùt meû, beøn thaâu chöùa nöôùc ao döôùi laïi.

22:10 And all of you have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have all of you broken down to fortify the wall.

22:10 Caùc ngöôi ñeám nhaø cöûa Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, phaù nhöõng nhaø cöûa ñeå tu boå töôøng thaønh;

22:11 All of you made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but all of you have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.

22:11 laïi ñaøo hoà giöõa khoaûng hai töôøng thaønh ñaëng chöùa nöôùc ao cuõ. Nhöng caùc ngöôi chaúng troâng leân Ñaáng laøm neân söï ñoù; chaúng nhìn xem Ñaáng ñaõ ñònh söï ñoù töø xöa.

22:12 And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:

22:12 Trong ngaøy ñoù, Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, goïi caùc ngöôi khoùc loùc, thôû than, caïo ñaàu, vaø thaét bao gai;

22:13 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; in order to morrow we shall die.

22:13 theá maø trong caùc ngöôi coù söï vui möøng hôùn hôû. Ngöôøi ta moå boø, gieát chieân, aên thòt, uoáng röôïu: Haõy aên uoáng ñi, vì ngaøy mai chuùng ta seõ cheát!

22:14 And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till all of you die, says the Lord GOD of hosts.

22:14 Vaû, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân toû mình trong tai toâi raèng: Toäi aáy chaéc seõ chaúng heà ñöôïc tha cho caùc ngöôi cho ñeán giôø caùc ngöôi cheát, Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, phaùn vaäy.

22:15 Thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get you unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,

22:15 Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, phaùn nhö vaày: Ngöôi haõy ñi, ñeán nhaø keû giöõ kho, töùc Seùp-na, laøm chöùc giaùm cung, vaø baûo noù raèng:

22:16 What have you here? and whom have you here, that you have hewed you out a tomb here, as he that hews him out a tomb on high, and that graves an habitation for himself in a rock?

22:16 Ngöôi ôû ñaây laøm gì? coù baø con chi ñaây, maø ngöôi ñaõ ñuïc taïi ñaây moät huyeät maû? Thaät ngöôøi ñuïc cho mình moät huyeät maû treân nôi cao, khieán ñaøo cho mình moät choã ôû trong vaàng ñaù!

22:17 Behold, the LORD will carry you away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover you.

22:17 Naày, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, khaùc naøo keû söùc khoûe, seõ quaêng maïnh ngöôøi ra nôi xa, vaø boïc chaët ngöôi.

22:18 He will surely violently turn and toss you like a ball into a large country: there shall you die, and there the chariots of your glory shall be the shame of your lord's house.

22:18 Ngaøi aét seõ quaán ngöôi, vaø neùm ngöôi nhö quaû boùng vaøo xöù roäng vaø khoaûng khoaùt. Taïi ñoù ngöôi seõ cheát, xe coä sang troïng cuûa ngöôi cuõng theo ñeán ñoù, oâi, ngöôi laø keû laøm nhuïc cho nhaø chuû mình!

22:19 Ta seõ caùch chöùc ngöôi, ngöôi seõ bò truaát khoûi ngoâi mình.

22:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:

22:20 Trong ngaøy ñoù, ta seõ goïi ñaày tôù ta laø EÂ-li -a-kim, con trai Hinh-kia,

22:21 And I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your girdle, and I will commit your government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

22:22 Ta seõ ñem chìa khoùa nhaø Ña-vít ñeå treân vai noù; heã noù môû, khoâng ai ñoùng ñöôïc; noù ñoùng, khoâng ai môû ñöôïc.

22:23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.

22:23 Ta seõ ñoùng noù xuoáng nhö ñinh ñoùng nôi vöõng chaõi; vaø noù seõ trôû neân moät ngoâi vinh hieån cho nhaø cha mình.

22:24 And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.

22:24 Ngöôøi ta seõ treo treân noù moïi söï vinh hieån cuûa nhaø cha mình, con caùi doøng doõi, vaø heát thaûy nhöõng ñoà ñöïng beù nhoû nöõa, töø caùi cheùn ñeán caùi ve.

22:25 In that day, says the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD has spoken it.

22:25 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân phaùn raèng: Trong ngaøy ñoù, caùi ñinh ñoùng nôi vöõng chaõi seõ loûng xeäch; noù seõ bò ñaäp vaø rôùt xuoáng, vaø gaùnh naëng treo treân noù seõ bò caét ñöùt. Vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn vaäy.

 E sai - Isaiah

23:1 The burden of Tyre. Wail, all of you ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.

23:1 Gaùnh naëng veà Ty-rô. Hôõi taøu beø Ta-reâ-si, haõy than khoùc, vì noù ñaõ bò huûy phaù, ñeán noãi chaúng coøn nhaø cöûa nöõa! chaúng coøn loái vaøo nöõa! Aáy laø ñieàu ñaõ toû cho hoï töø xöù Kít-tim.

23:2 Be still, all of you inhabitants of the isle; you whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.

23:2 Hôõi daân cö bôø bieån, laø nôi nhöõng laùi buoân Si-ñoân, laø nhöõng keû vöôït bieån chôû ñoà haøng ñeán, haõy nín laëng!

23:3 And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a merchant of nations.

23:3 Hoät gioáng cuûa Si-ho, muøa maøng cuûa soâng Ni-lô, theo ñöôøng bieån trôû ñeán, aáy laø phaàn lôïi noù; noù voán laø chôï buoân cuûa caùc nöôùc.

23:4 Be you ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea has spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.

23:4 Hôõi Si-ñoân, haõy hoå theïn! Vì bieån, nôi ñoàn luõy bieån, coù noùi nhö vaày: Ta chöa ôû cöõ, chöa ñeû con, chöa nuoâi trai treû, chöa nuoâi gaùi beù.

23:5 As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.

23:5 Khi tin naày ñoàn ñeán EÂ-díp-toâ, ngöôøi ta nghe tin veà Ty-rô, chaéc seõ ñau thöông laém.

23:6 Pass all of you over to Tarshish; wail, all of you inhabitants of the isle.

23:6 Haõy dôøi qua Ta-reâ-si; hôõi daân ôû gaàn bieån, haõy than khoùc!

23:7 Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her far off to sojourn.

23:7 Ñaây haù chaúng phaûi laø thaønh vui veû cuûa caùc ngöôi sao? Laø thaønh coù töø ñôøi thöôïng coå, maø chôn noù ñaõ traûi ñeán nôi xa ñaëng truù nguï taïi ñoù.

23:8 Who has taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth?

23:8 Vaäy, ai ñaõ ñònh söï aáy nghòch cuøng Ty-rô, laø thaønh ñaõ phaân phaùt maõo trieàu thieân, laùi buoân noù voán laø haøng vöông haàu, ngöôøi mua baùn noù voán laø tay quí hieån trong thieân haï?

23:9 The LORD of hosts has purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.

23:9 Aáy laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân ñaõ ñònh söï naày, ñeå laøm dô daùy söï kieâu ngaïo moïi vinh hieån, vaø laøm nhuïc moïi keû sang troïng trong theá gian.

23:10 Pass through your land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.

23:10 Hôõi con gaùi Ta-reâ-si, ngöôi khoâng coøn bò troùi buoäc nöõa, haõy ñi qua khaép ñòa phaän ngöôi nhö soâng Ni-lô!

23:11 He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD has given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof.

23:11 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ giang tay Ngaøi treân bieån, laøm cho caùc nöôùc rung ñoäng. Ngaøi ñaõ ban maïng lònh veà Ca-na-an, maø phaù ñoàn luõy noù.

23:12 And he said, You shall no more rejoice, O you oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shall you have no rest.

23:12 Ngaøi coù phaùn raèng: Hôõi con gaùi Si-ñoân, laø nöõ ñoàng trinh bò öùc hieáp kia, ngöôi seõ chaúng coøn cöù vui möøng nöõa! Vaäy haõy chôø daäy, sang xöù Kít-tim, taïi ñoù ngöôi cuõng seõ khoâng ñöôïc an nghæ ñaâu!

23:13 Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin.

23:13 Haõy xem xöù cuûa ngöôøi Canh-ñeâ, khoâng coù daân ñoù nöõa; ngöôøi A-si-ri laáy laøm choã cho thuù röøng; chuùng noù döïng thaùp, phaù cung ñeàn noù laøm ra goø ñoáng.

23:14 Wail, all of you ships of Tarshish: for your strength is laid waste.

23:14 Hôõi taøu beø Ta-reâ-si, haõy than khoùc! Vì ñoàn luõy caùc ngöôi huûy dieät roài.

23:15 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.

23:15 Trong luùc ñoù, thaønh Ty-rô seõ bò ngöôøi ta queân ñi trong baûy möôi naêm, baèng moät ñôøi vua. Maõn baûy möôi naêm roài, Ty-rô seõ gioáng nhö baøi ca cuûa kî nöõ haùt.

23:16 Take an harp, go about the city, you harlot that have been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that you may be remembered.

23:16 Hôõi kî nöõ ñaõ bò queân kia, haõy laáy ñôøn caàm, daïo chôi thaønh phoá! Khaûy cho hay, ca ñi ca laïi, haàu cho ngöôøi ta nhôù ñeán maày!

23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.

23:17 Maõn baûy möôi naêm roài, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ thaêm vieáng thaønh Ty-rô, noù seõ laïi ñöôïc lôïi, seõ haønh daâm cuøng moïi nöôùc trong theá gian treân maët ñaát.

23:18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.

23:18 Nhöng haøng hoùa lôøi laõi cuûa noù seõ neân thaùnh cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, maø khoâng chöùa, cuõng khoâng ñeå daønh laïi. Vì lôøi laõi aáy seõ phaân phaùt cho nhöõng ngöôøi ôû tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, ñeå hoï ñöôïc aên sung maëc söôùng.

 E sai - Isaiah

24:1 Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof.

24:1 Naày, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laøm cho ñaát troáng khoâng vaø hoang vu; Ngaøi laät ñoå maët ñaát vaø laøm tan laïc daân cö.

24:2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest to him.

24:2 Thaày teá leã nhö chuùng daân, oâng chuû nhö ñaày tôù trai, baø chuû nhö ñaày tôù gaùi, keû baùn nhö ngöôøi mua, keû cho möôïn nhö ngöôøi möôïn, keû laáy lôïi nhö ngöôøi noäp lôïi, ai cuõng ñoàng moät theå.

24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD has spoken this word.

24:3 Treân ñaát seõ ñeàu troáng khoâng vaø hoang vu caû; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn lôøi aáy.

24:4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

24:4 Ñaát thaûm thöông vaø toài taøn; theá gian luïn baïi vaø toài taøn; nhöõng daân cao nhöùt treân ñaát hao moøn ñi.

24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

24:5 Ñaát bò daân cö laøm oâ ueá, vì hoï ñaõ phaïm luaät phaùp, traùi ñieàu raên, döùt giao öôùc ñôøi ñôøi.

24:6 Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

24:6 Vaäy neân söï ruûa saû thieâu nuoát ñaát, nhöõng ngöôøi ôû treân noù maéc toäi. Vì côù ñoù daân treân ñaát bò ñoát chaùy, chæ coøn ít ngöôøi soùt laïi.

24:7 The new wine mourns, the vine languishes, all the merry hearted do sigh.

24:7 Röôïu môùi than vaõn, caây nho taøn heùo, moïi keû voán coù loøng vui ñeàu than thôû;

24:8 The delight of timbrels ceases, the noise of them that rejoice ends, the joy of the harp ceases.

24:8 nhöõng keû ñaùnh troáng khoâng ñaùnh nöõa, tieáng möøng rôõ heát roài, doïng vui ñôøn caàm ñaõ döùt.

24:9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

24:9 Chaúng coøn vöøa uoáng röôïu vöøa haùt nöõa; nhöõng tay ghieàn röôïu cho röôïu maïnh laø cay ñaéng.

24:10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

24:10 Thaønh hoang loaïn ñaõ ñoå naùt; nhaø cöûa ñeàu ñoùng laïi, khoâng ai vaøo ñöôïc.

24:11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the delight of the land is gone.

24:11 Ngöôøi ta keâu la trong ñöôøng phoá vì côù röôïu; moïi söï vui ñeàu trôû neân taêm toái; söï möøng rôõ trong xöù ñi ñaâu roài!

24:12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

24:12 Trong thaønh vaéng veû, cöûa thaønh phaù hoaïi!

24:13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

24:13 Vì giöõa caùc daân treân ñaát seõ gioáng nhö luùc ngöôøi ta rung caây oâ-li-ve, vaø nhö khi moùt traùi nho sau muøa haùi traùi.

24:14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

24:14 Nhöõng keû naày seõ caát tieáng leân, keâu rao; töø nôi bieån keâu lôùn tieáng vui möøng vì söï uy nghieâm Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

24:15 Wherefore glorify all of you the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

24:15 Vaäy haõy toân vinh Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va trong phöông ñoâng, haõy toân vinh danh Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, trong caùc cuø lao bieån!

24:16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

24:16 Chuùng ta ñaõ nghe töø nôi ñaàu cuøng ñaát haùt raèng: Vinh hieån cho keû coâng bình! Nhöng toâi noùi: Toâi bò gaày moøn, toâi bò gaày moøn! Nhöõng keû gian doái laøm gian doái, phaûi, keû gian doái laøm gian doái laém!

24:17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.

24:17 Hôõi daân cö treân ñaát, söï kinh haõi, haàm vaø baãy ñeán treân ngöôi.

24:18 And it shall come to pass, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

24:18 Keû naøo troán khoûi tieáng kinh haõi, seõ sa xuoáng haàm; neáu leân khoûi haàm, seõ maéc vaøo löôùi. Vì caùc cöûa soå treân trôøi ñeàu môû ra, caùc neàn döôùi ñaát ñeàu rung rinh.

24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

24:19 Ñaát ñeàu tan naùt, ñaát ñeàu vôõ lôû, ñaát ñeàu ruùng ñoäng.

24:20 The earth shall reel back and forth like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

24:20 Ñaát lay ñoäng nhö ngöôøi say; loûng choûng nhö caùi voõng, toäi loãi chaát leân treân naëng tróu, noù seõ ñoå xuoáng vaø khoâng daäy ñöôïc nöõa!

24:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

24:21 Xaûy ra trong ngaøy ñoù, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ phaït caùc cô binh nôi cao ôû treân trôøi, phaït caùc vua theá gian ôû treân ñaát.

24:22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

24:22 Hoï seõ nhoùm laïi cuøng nhau, bò caàm trong haàm nhö tuø bò nhoát trong nguïc; caùch laâu ngaøy, seõ ñeàu bò phaït.

24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

24:23 Maët traêng seõ xaáu hoå, maët trôøi seõ maéc côõ; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân seõ trò vì treân nuùi Si-oân, taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; vaø söï vinh hieån seõ choùi loùi tröôùc maët caùc tröôûng laõo.
