1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

1:1 Ñaàu Tin Laønh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

1:2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

1:2 Nhö ñaõ cheùp trong saùch tieân tri EÂ-sai raèng: Naày, ta sai söù ta ñeán tröôùc maët ngöôi, Ngöôøi seõ doïn ñöôøng cho ngöôi.

1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare all of you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

1:3 Coù tieáng keâu trong ñoàng vaéng raèng: Haõy doïn ñöôøng Chuùa, Ban baèng caùc neûo Ngaøi;

1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

1:4 Giaêng ñaõ tôùi, trong ñoàng vaéng vöøa laøm vöøa giaûng pheùp baùp-tem aên naên, cho ñöôïc tha toäi.

1:5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

1:5 Caû xöù Giu-ñeâ vaø heát thaûy daân söï thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñeàu ñeán cuøng ngöôøi, xöng toäi mình vaø chòu ngöôøi laøm pheùp baùp tem döôùi soâng Gioâ-ñanh.

1:6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

1:6 Giaêng maëc aùo loâng laïc ñaø, buoäc daây löng da ngang hoâng; aên nhöõng chaâu chaáu vaø maät ong röøng.

1:7 And preached, saying, There comes one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

1:7 Ngöôøi giaûng daïy raèng: Coù Ñaáng quyeàn pheùp hôn ta ñeán sau ta; ta khoâng ñaùng cuùi xuoáng môû daây giaøy Ngaøi.

1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

1:8 Ta laøm pheùp baùp-tem cho caùc ngöôi baèng nöôùc; nhöng Ngaøi seõ laøm pheùp baùp-tem cho caùc ngöôi baèng Ñöùc Thaùnh-Linh.

1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

1:9 Vaû, trong nhöõng ngaøy ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán töø Na-xa-reùt laø thaønh xöù Ga-li-leâ, vaø chòu Giaêng laøm pheùp baùp-tem döôùi soâng Gioâ-ñanh.

1:10 And immediately coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit (o. pneuma) like a dove descending upon him:

1:10 Vöøa khi leân khoûi nöôùc, Ngaøi thaáy caùc töøng trôøi môû ra, vaø Ñöùc Thaùnh-Linh ngöï xuoáng treân mình Ngaøi nhö chim boø caâu.

1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

1:11 Laïi coù tieáng töø treân trôøi phaùn raèng: Ngöôi laø Con yeâu daáu cuûa ta, ñeïp loøng ta moïi ñöôøng.

1:12 And immediately the spirit (o. pneuma) drives him into the wilderness.

1:12 Töùc thì Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh giuïc Ngaøi ñeán nôi ñoàng vaéng

1:13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

1:13 Ngaøi ôû nôi ñoàng vaéng chòu quæ Sa-tan caùm doã boán möôi ngaøy, ôû chung vôùi thuù röøng, vaø coù thieân söù ñeán haàu vieäc Ngaøi.

1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

1:14 Sau khi Giaêng bò tuø, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán xöù Ga-li-leâ, giaûng Tin-Laønh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi,

1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent all of you, and believe the gospel.

1:15 maø raèng: Kyø ñaõ troïn, nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ ñeán gaàn; caùc ngöôi haõy aên naên vaø tin ñaïo Tin Laønh.

1:16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

1:16 Ngaøi ñi doïc theo meù bieån Ga-li-leâ, thaáy Si-moân vôùi Anh-reâ, em ngöôøi, ñöông thaû löôùi döôùi bieån; vì hai ngöôøi voán laøm ngheà chaøi.

1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come all of you after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

1:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Haõy theo ta, vaø ta seõ khieán caùc ngöôi trôû neân tay ñaùnh löôùi ngöôøi.

1:18 And immediately they forsook their nets, and followed him.

1:18 Töùc thì hai ngöôøi boû chaøi löôùi maø theo Ngaøi.

1:19 And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

1:19 Ñi moät ñoãi xa xa, Ngaøi thaáy Gia-cô, con Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ, vôùi em laø Giaêng, ñöông vaù löôùi trong thuyeàn.

1:20 And immediately he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

1:21 And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

1:21 Keá ñoù, ñi ñeán thaønh Ca-beâ-na-um; nhaèm ngaøy Sa-baùt, töùc thì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo nhaø hoäi, khôûi daïy doã taïi ñoù.

1:22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

1:22 Chuùng ñeàu caûm ñoäng veà söï daïy doã cuûa Ngaøi, vì Ngaøi daïy nhö coù quyeàn pheùp, chôù chaúng phaûi nhö caùc thaày thoâng giaùo ñaâu.

1:23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; (o. pneuma) and he cried out,

1:23 Vaû, cuõng moät luùc aáy, trong nhaø hoäi coù ngöôøi bò taø ma aùm,

1:24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with you, you Jesus of Nazareth? are you come to destroy us? I know you who you are, the Holy One of God.

1:24 keâu leân raèng: Hôõi Jeâsus, ngöôøi Na-xa-reùt, chuùng toâi vôùi Ngaøi coù söï gì chaêng? Ngaøi ñeán ñeå dieät chuùng toâi sao? Toâi bieát Ngaøi laø ai: laø Ñaáng Thaùnh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

1:25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him.

1:25 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nghieâm traùch noù raèng: Haõy nín ñi, ra khoûi ngöôøi.

1:26 And when the unclean spirit (o. pneuma) had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

1:26 Taø ma beøn vaät maïnh ngöôøi aáy, caát tieáng keâu lôùn, vaø ra khoûi ngöôøi.

1:27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commands he even the unclean spirits, (o. pneuma) and they do obey him.

1:27 Ai naáy ñeàu laáy laøm laï, ñeán noãi hoûi nhau raèng: Caùi gì vaäy? Söï daïy môùi sao! Ngöôøi naày laáy quyeàn pheùp sai khieán ñeán taø ma, maø noùi cuõng phaûi vaâng lôøi!

1:28 And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

1:28 Danh tieáng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus töùc thì ñoàn ra khaép caû mieàn xung quanh xöù Ga-li-leâ.

1:29 And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

1:29 Vöøa ôû nhaø hoäi ra, Chuùa vaø moân ñoà ñi vôùi Gia-cô vaø Giaêng vaøo nhaø Si-moân vaø Anh-reâ.

1:30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and soon they tell him of her.

1:30 Vaø, baø gia Si-moân ñang naèm treân giöôøng, ñau reùt; töùc thì chuùng thöa vôùi Ngaøi veà chuyeän ngöôøi.

1:31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

1:31 Ngaøi beøn laïi gaàn, caàm tay ngöôøi ñôõ daäy; bònh reùt döùt ñi, vaø ngöôøi baét tay haàu haï.

1:32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

1:32 Ñeán chieàu, maët trôøi ñaõ laën, ngöôøi ta ñem moïi keû bònh vaø keû bò quæ aùm ñeán cuøng Ngaøi.

1:33 And all the city was gathered together at the door.

1:33 Caû thaønh nhoùm laïi tröôùc cöûa.

1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

1:34 Ngaøi chöõa laønh nhieàu keû ñau caùc thöù bònh, vaø ñuoåi nhieàu quæ, chaúng cho pheùp caùc quæ noùi ra, vì chuùng noù bieát Ngaøi.

1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

1:35 Saùng hoâm sau trôøi coøn môø môø, Ngaøi chôø daäy, böôùc ra, ñi vaøo nôi vaéng veû, vaø caàu nguyeän taïi ñoù.

1:36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

1:36 Si-moân cuøng ñoàng baïn ñi tìm Ngaøi.

1:37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for you.

1:37 Khi kieám ñöôïc thì thöa raèng: Heát thaûy ñöông tìm thaày.

1:38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

1:38 Ngaøi phaùn: Chuùng ta ñi nôi khaùc, trong nhöõng laøng xung quanh ñaây, ñeå ta cuõng giaûng ñaïo ôû ñoù nöõa; vì aáy laø coát taïi vieäc ñoù maø ta ñaõ ñeán.

1:39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

1:39 Ngaøi traûi khaép xöù Ga-li-leâ, giaûng daïy trong caùc nhaø hoäi vaø ñuoåi quæ.

1:40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If you will, you can make me clean.

1:40 Coù moät ngöôøi phung ñeán cuøng Ngaøi, quì xuoáng caàu xin raèng: Neáu Chuùa khöùng, coù theå khieán toâi saïch ñöôïc.

1:41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and says unto him, I will; be you clean.

1:41 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñoäng loøng thöông xoùt, giô tay rôø ngöôøi, maø phaùn raèng: Ta khöùng, haõy saïch ñi.

1:42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

1:42 Lieàn khi ñoù, phung laën maát, ngöôøi trôû neân saïch.

1:43 And he strictly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

1:43 töùc thì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cho ngöôøi aáy ra, laáy gioïng nghieâm phaùn raèng:

1:44 And says unto him, See you say nothing to any man: but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

1:44 Haõy giöõ chôù toû ñieàu ñoù cuøng ai; song khaù ñi toû mình cuøng thaày teá leã, vaø vì ngöôøi ñöôïc saïch, haõy daâng cuûa leã theo nhö Moâi-se daïy, ñeå ñieàu ñoù laøm chöùng cho hoï.

1:45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, (o. logos) insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

1:45 Nhöng ngöôøi aáy ñi, ñoàn vieäc ñoù ra, tôùi ñaâu cuõng thuaät chuyeän, ñeán noãi Chuùa Gieâ-xu khoâng vaøo thaønh caùch roõ raøng ñöôïc nöõa; song Ngaøi ôû ngoaøi, taïi nôi vaéng veû; vaø ngöôøi ta töø boán phöông ñeàu ñeán cuøng Ngaøi.

 Mac - Mark

2:1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

2:1 Khoûi moät vaøi ngaøy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus trôû laïi thaønh Ca-beâ-na-um, vaø chuùng nghe noùi Ngaøi ôû trong nhaø.

2:2 And immediately many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word (o. logos) unto them.

2:2 Hoï hoïp laïi taïi ñoù ñoâng laém, ñeán noãi tröôùc cöûa cuõng khoâng coøn choã troáng; Ngaøi giaûng ñaïo cho hoï nghe.

2:3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

2:3 Baáy giôø coù maáy keû ñem tôùi cho Ngaøi moät ngöôøi ñau baïi, coù boán ngöôøi khieâng.

2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

2:4 Nhöng, vì ñoâng ngöôøi, khoâng laïi gaàn Ngaøi ñöôïc, neân dôû maùi nhaø ngay choã Ngaøi ngoài, roài do loã ñoù doøng giöôøng ngöôøi baïi xuoáng.

2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, your sins be forgiven you.

2:5 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy ñöùc tin hoï, beøn phaùn vôùi keû baïi raèng: Hôõi con ta, toäi loãi ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc tha.

2:6 But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

2:6 Vaû, coù maáy thaày thoâng giaùo ngoài ñoù, nghó thaàm raèng:

2:7 Why does this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

2:7 Sao ngöôøi naày noùi nhö vaäy? Ngöôøi noùi phaïm thöôïng ñoù! Ngoaøi mình Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, coøn coù ai tha toäi ñöôïc chaêng?

2:8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit (o. pneuma) that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason all of you these things in your hearts?

2:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus trong trí ñaõ töï hieåu hoï nghó nhö vaäy, töùc thì phaùn raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi baøn luaän trong loøng theå aáy?

2:9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?

2:9 Nay baûo keû baïi raèng: Toäi ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc tha; hay laø baûo ngöôøi raèng: Haõy ñöùng daäy vaùc giöôøng maø ñi; hai ñieàu aáy ñieàu naøo deã hôn?

2:10 But that all of you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (he says to the sick of the palsy,)

2:10 Vaû, ñeå cho caùc ngöôi bieát raèng Con ngöôøi ôû theá gian coù quyeàn tha toäi, thì Ngaøi phaùn cuøng keû baïi raèng:

2:11 I say unto you, Arise, and take up your bed, and go your way into yours house.

2:11 Ta bieåu ngöôi, haõy ñöùng daäy, vaùc giöôøng ñi veà nhaø.

2:12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

2:12 Keû baïi ñöùng daäy, töùc thì vaùc giöôøng ñi ra tröôùc maët thieân haï; ñeán noãi ai naáy laøm laï, ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, maø raèng: Chuùng toâi chöa heà thaáy vieäc theå naày.

2:13 And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

2:13 Baáy giôø, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus trôû laïi veà phía meù bieån; caû daân chuùng ñeán cuøng Ngaøi, roài Ngaøi daïy doã hoï.

2:14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

2:14 Ngaøi vöøa ñi qua thaáy Leâ-vi, con A-pheâ, ñöông ngoài taïi sôû thaâu thueá, thì phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Haõy theo ta. Ngöôøi ñöùng daäy theo Ngaøi.

2:15 And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at food in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

2:15 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông ngoài aên taïi nhaø Leâ-vi, coù nhieàu keû thaâu thueá vaø ngöôøi coù toäi ñoàng baøn vôùi Ngaøi vaø moân ñoà Ngaøi; vì trong boïn ñoù coù nhieàu keû theo Ngaøi roài.

2:16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eats and drinks with publicans and sinners?

2:16 Caùc thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si thaáy Ngaøi aên vôùi ngöôøi thaâu thueá vaø keû phaïm toäi, thì noùi vôùi moân ñoà Ngaøi raèng: Ngöôøi cuøng aên vôùi keû thaâu thueá vaø ngöôøi coù toäi sao!

2:17 When Jesus heard it, he says unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

2:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nghe vaäy, beøn phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Chaúng phaûi keû maïnh khoûe caàn thaày thuoác ñaâu, nhöng laø keû coù bònh; ta chaúng phaûi ñeán goïi ngöôøi coâng bình, nhöng goïi keû coù toäi.

2:18 And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples fast not?

2:18 Vaû, moân ñoà cuûa Giaêng vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñeàu kieâng aên. Coù ngöôøi ñeán thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Bôûi côù naøo moân ñoà cuûa Giaêng vaø moân ñoà cuûa ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñeàu kieâng aên, coøn moân ñoà cuûa thaày khoâng kieâng aên?

2:19 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

2:19 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Baïn höõu cuûa chaøng reå coù kieâng aên ñöôïc trong khi chaøng reå coøn ôû cuøng mình chaêng? Heã chaøng reå coøn ôû vôùi hoï ñeán chöøng naøo, thì hoï khoâng theå kieâng aên ñöôïc ñeán chöøng naáy.

2:20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

2:20 Song tôùi kyø chaøng reå phaûi ñem ñi khoûi hoï, trong ngaøy ñoù hoï seõ kieâng aên.

2:21 No man also sews a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up takes away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

2:21 Khoâng ai vaù mieáng næ môùi vaøo caùi aùo cuõ; neáu vaäy thì mieáng næ môùi chaèng raùch aùo cuõ, maø ñaøng raùch caøng xaáu theâm.

2:22 And no man puts new wine into old bottles: else the new wine does burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be ruined: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

2:22 Cuõng khoâng ai ñoå röôïu môùi vaøo baàu da cuõ; neáu vaäy, röôïu laøm vôõ baàu, röôïu maát vaø baàu cuõng chaúng coøn.

2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

2:23 Nhaèm ngaøy Sa-baùt, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi qua ñoàng luùa mì; ñang ñi ñöôøng, moân ñoà Ngaøi böùt boâng luùa mì.

2:24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

2:24 Caùc ngöôøi Pha-ri-si beøn noùi cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Coi kìa, sao moân ñoà thaày laøm ñieàu khoâng neân laøm trong ngaøy Sa-baùt?

2:25 And he said unto them, Have all of you never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungered, he, and they that were with him?

2:25 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Caùc ngöôi chöa ñoïc ñeán söï vua Ña-vít laøm trong khi vua cuøng nhöõng ngöôøi ñi theo bò tuùng ñoùi hay sao?

2:26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

2:26 Theå naøo trong ñôøi A-bi-tha laøm thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, vua aáy vaøo ñeán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, aên baùnh baøy ra, laïi cuõng cho nhöõng ngöôøi ñi theo aên nöõa, daàu baùnh aáy chæ nhöõng thaày teá leã môùi ñöôïc pheùp aên thoâi?

2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

2:27 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi laïi phaùn: Vì loaøi ngöôøi maø laäp ngaøy Sa-baùt, chôù chaúng phaûi vì ngaøy Sa-baùt maø döïng neân loaøi ngöôøi.

2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

2:28 Vaäy thì Con ngöôøi cuõng laøm chuû ngaøy Sa-baùt.

 Mac - Mark

3:1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

3:1 Laàn khaùc, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo nhaø hoäi, ôû ñoù coù moät ngöôøi nam teo baøn tay.

3:2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

3:2 Chuùng rình xem thöû Ngaøi coù chöõa ngöôøi ñoù trong ngaøy Sa-baùt chaêng, ñaëng caùo Ngaøi.

3:3 And he says unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

3:3 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi teo tay raèng: haõy daäy, ñöùng chính giöõa ñaây.

3:4 And he says unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

3:4 roài Ngaøi hoûi hoï raèng: trong ngaøy Sa-baùt, neân laøm vieäc laønh hay vieäc döõ, cöùu ngöôøi hay gieát ngöôøi? Nhöng hoï ñeàu nín laëng.

3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he says unto the man, Stretch forth yours hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

3:5 Baáy giôø, Ngaøi laáy maét lieác hoï, vöøa giaän vöøa buoàn vì loøng hoï cöùng coûi, roài phaùn cuøng ngöôøi nam raèng: haõy giô tay ra. Ngöôøi giô ra, thì tay ñöôïc laønh.

3:6 And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

3:6 Caùc ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñi ra, töùc thì baøn luaän vôùi phe Heâ-roát nghòch cuøng Ngaøi, ñaëng gieát Ngaøi ñi.

3:7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

3:7 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuøng moân ñoà Ngaøi laùnh ra nôi bôø bieån, coù ñoaøn daân ñoâng laém töø xöù Ga-li-leâ ñeán theo Ngaøi. Töø xöù Giu-ñeâ,

3:8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.

3:8 thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, xöù Y-ñu-meâ, xöù beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh, mieàn xung quanh thaønh Ty-rô vaø thaønh Si-ñoân cuõng vaäy, daân ñoâng laém, nghe noùi moïi vieäc Ngaøi laøm, thì ñeàu ñeán cuøng Ngaøi.

3:9 And he spoke to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should crowd upon him.

3:9 Bôûi côù daân ñoâng, neân Ngaøi bieåu moân ñoà saém cho mình moät chieác thuyeàn nhoû saün saøng, ñaëng cho khoûi bò chuùng laán eùp Ngaøi quaù.

3:10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him in order to touch him, as many as had plagues.

3:10 Vì Ngaøi ñaõ chöõa laønh nhieàu keû bònh, neân noãi ai naáy coù bònh chi cuõng ñeàu aùp ñeán gaàn ñeå rôø Ngaøi.

3:11 And unclean spirits, (o. pneuma) when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, You are the Son of God.

3:11 Khi taø ma thaáy Ngaøi, beøn saáp mình xuoáng nôi chôn Ngaøi maø keâu leân raèng: Thaày laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi!

3:12 And he strictly charged them that they should not make him known.

3:12 Song Ngaøi nghieâm caám chuùng noù chôù toû cho ai bieát mình.

3:13 And he goes up into a mountain, and calls unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

3:13 Keá ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus leân treân nuùi, ñoøi nhöõng ngöôøi Ngaøi muoán, thì nhöõng ngöôøi aáy ñeán keà Ngaøi.

3:14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

3:14 Ngaøi beøn laäp möôøi hai ngöôøi, goïi laø söù ñoà, ñeå ôû cuøng Ngaøi vaø sai ñi giaûng ñaïo,

3:16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;

3:16 Naày laø möôøi hai söù ñoà Ngaøi ñaõ laäp: Si-moân, Ngaøi ñaët teân laø Phi -e-rô;

3:17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

3:17 Gia-cô con Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ, vaø Giaêng em Gia-cô, Ngaøi ñaët teân hai ngöôøi laø Boâ -a-neït, nghóa laø con trai cuûa saám seùt;

3:18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

3:18 Anh-reâ, Phi-líp, Ba-theâ-leâ-my, Ma-thi -ô, Thoâ-ma, Gia-cô con A-pheâ, Tha-ñeâ, Si-moân laø ngöôøi Ca-na-an,

3:19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

3:19 vaø Giu-ña Ích-ca-ri-oát, chính teân naày ñaõ phaûn Ngaøi.

3:20 And the multitude comes together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

3:20 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuøng moân ñoà vaøo trong moät caùi nhaø; ñoaøn daân laïi nhoùm hoïp taïi ñoù, ñeán noãi Ngaøi vaø moân ñoà khoâng aên ñöôïc.

3:21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

3:21 Nhöõng baïn höõu Ngaøi nghe vaäy, beøn ñeán ñeå caàm giöõ Ngaøi; vì ngöôøi ta noùi Ngaøi ñaõ maát trí khoân.

3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He has Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casts he out devils.

3:22 Coù caùc thaày thoâng giaùo ôû thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem xuoáng, noùi raèng: Ngöôøi bò quæ Beâ-eân-xeâ-bun aùm, vaø nhôø pheùp chuùa quæ maø tröø quæ.

3:23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

3:23 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus keâu hoï ñeán, duøng lôøi thí duï maø phaùn raèng: Sao quæ Sa-tan ñuoåi ñöôïc quæ Sa-tan?

3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

3:24 Neáu moät nöôùc töï chia nhau, thì nöôùc aáy khoâng theå coøn ñöôïc;

3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

3:25 laïi neáu moät nhaø töï chia nhau, thì nhaø aáy khoâng theå coøn ñöôïc.

3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but has an end.

3:26 Vaäy, neáu quæ Sa-tan töï daáy leân nghòch cuøng mình, taát noù bò chia xeû ra, khoâng theå coøn ñöôïc; song noù ñaõ gaàn ñeán cuøng roài.

3:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

3:27 Chaúng ai coù theå vaøo nhaø moät ngöôøi maïnh söùc cöôùp laáy cuûa ngöôøi, maø tröôùc heát khoâng troùi ngöôøi laïi; phaûi troùi ngöôøi laïi, roài môùi cöôùp nhaø ngöôøi ñöôïc.

3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith whatsoever they shall blaspheme:

3:28 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, moïi toäi loãi seõ tha cho con caùi loaøi ngöôøi, vaø heát thaûy nhöõng lôøi phaïm thöôïng hoï seõ noùi ra cuõng vaäy;

3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

3:29 nhöng ai seõ noùi phaïm ñeán Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh thì chaúng heà ñöôïc tha, phaûi maéc toäi ñôøi ñôøi.

3:30 Because they said, He has an unclean spirit. (o. pneuma)

3:30 Ngaøi phaùn nhö vaäy, vì hoï noùi raèng: Ngöôøi bò taø ma aùm.

3:31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.

3:32 Coù keû thöa raèng: Naày, meï vaø anh em thaày ôû ngoaøi kia ñöông tìm thaày.

3:33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

3:33 Song Ngaøi phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Ai laø meï ta, ai laø anh em ta?

3:34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

3:34 Ngaøi ñöa maét lieác nhöõng keû ngoài chung quanh mình maø phaùn raèng: Kìa laø meï ta vaø anh em ta!

3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

3:35 Ai laøm theo yù muoán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, naáy laø anh em, chò em, vaø meï ta vaäy.

4:1 And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

4:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi khôûi söï giaûng daïy nôi bôø bieån; coù moät ñoaøn daân ñoâng laém nhoùm laïi xung quanh Ngaøi, Ngaøi böôùc leân trong moät chieác thuyeàn vaø ngoài ñoù, coøn caû ñoaøn daân thì ôû treân ñaát nôi meù bieån.

4:2 And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

4:2 Ngaøi laáy thí duï daïy doã hoï nhieàu ñieàu, vaø trong khi daïy, Ngaøi phaùn raèng:

4:3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4:3 Haõy nghe. Coù ngöôøi gieo gioáng ñi ra ñaëng gieo.

4:4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

4:4 Khi ñöông gieo, moät phaàn gioáng rôi doïc ñöôøng, chim ñeán aên heát.

4:5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

4:5 Moät phaàn khaùc rôi nhaèm nôi ñaát ñaù soûi, chæ coù ít ñaát thòt, töùc thì moïc leân, vì bò laáp khoâng saâu;

4:6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

4:6 nhöng khi maët trôøi ñaõ moïc, thì bò ñoát, vaø bôûi khoâng coù reã, neân phaûi heùo.

4:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

4:7 Moät phaàn khaùc rôi nhaèm buïi gai; gai moïc leân laøm cho ngheït ngoøi, vaø khoâng keát quaû.

4:8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

4:8 Moät phaàn khaùc nöõa rôi nhaèm nôi ñaát toát, thì keát quaû, lôùn leân vaø naåy nôû ra; moät hoät ra ba chuïc, hoät khaùc saùu chuïc, hoät khaùc moät traêm.

4:9 And he said unto them, He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

4:9 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Ai coù tai maø nghe, haõy nghe.

4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

4:10 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû moät mình, nhöõng keû xung quanh Ngaøi cuøng möôøi hai söù ñoà hoûi Ngaøi veà caùc lôøi thí duï.

4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

4:11 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Söï maàu nhieäm cuûa nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ toû ra cho caùc ngöôi; nhöng veà phaàn ngöôøi ngoaøi, thì duøng thí duï ñeå daïy moïi söï,

4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

4:12 haàu cho hoï xem thì xem maø khoâng thaáy, nghe thì nghe maø khoâng hieåu; e hoï hoái caûi maø ñöôïc tha toäi chaêng.

4:13 And he said unto them, Know all of you not this parable? and how then will all of you know all parables?

4:13 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi khoâng hieåu thí duï aáy sao? Vaäy thì theá naøo hieåu moïi thí duï ñöôïc?

4:14 The sower sows the word. (o. logos)

4:14 Ngöôøi gieo gioáng aáy laø gieo ñaïo.

4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word (o. logos) is sown; but when they have heard, Satan comes immediately, and takes away the word (o. logos) that was sown in their hearts.

4:15 Nhöõng keû ôû doïc ñöôøng laø keû ñaõ chòu ñaïo gieo nôi mình; nhöng vöøa môùi nghe ñaïo, töùc thì quæ Sa-tan ñeán, cöôùp laáy ñaïo ñaõ gieo trong loøng hoï ñi.

4:16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, (o. logos) immediately receive it with gladness;

4:16 Cuõng vaäy, nhöõng ngöôøi chòu gioáng gieo nôi ñaát ñaù soûi, laø nhöõng keû nghe ñaïo, lieàn vui möøng chòu laáy;

4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, (o. logos) immediately they are offended.

4:17 song vì trong loøng hoï khoâng coù reã, chæ taïm thôøi maø thoâi, neân noãi gaëp khi vì côù ñaïo maø xaûy ra söï cöïc khoå, baét bôù, thì lieàn vaáp phaïm.

4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, (o. logos)

4:18 Coøn nhöõng keû chòu gioáng gieo nôi buïi gai, laø keû ñaõ nghe ñaïo;

4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, (o. logos) and it becomes unfruitful.

4:19 song söï lo laéng veà ñôøi naày, söï meâ ñaém veà giaøu sang, vaø caùc söï tham muoán khaùc thaáu vaøo loøng hoï, laøm cho ngheït ngoøi ñaïo, vaø trôû neân khoâng traùi.

4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, (o. logos) and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

4:20 Nhöng, nhöõng ngöôøi chòu gioáng gieo vaøo nôi ñaát toát, laø keû nghe ñaïo, chòu laáy vaø keát quaû, moät hoät ra ba chuïc, hoät khaùc saùu chuïc, hoät khaùc moät traêm.

4:21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

4:21 Ngaøi laïi phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Coù ai ñem ñeøn ñeå döôùi caùi thuøng hoaëc döôùi caùi giöôøng chaêng? Haù chaúng phaûi ñeå treân chôn ñeøn sao?

4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

4:22 Vì chaúng coù ñieàu chi kín maø khoâng phaûi loä ra, chaúng coù ñieàu chi giaáu maø khoâng phaûi roõ raøng.

4:23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

4:23 Neáu ai coù tai maø nghe, haõy nghe!

4:24 And he said unto them, Take heed what all of you hear: with what measure all of you mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

4:24 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Haõy caån thaän veà ñieàu mình nghe. Ngöôøi ta seõ ñong cho caùc ngöôi baèng löôøng caùc ngöôi ñaõ ñong cho, vaø theâm vaøo ñoù nöõa.

4:25 For he that has, to him shall be given: and he that has not, from him shall be taken even that which he has.

4:25 Vì seõ ban theâm cho keû naøo coù; nhöng keû naøo khoâng coù, seõ bò caát laáy ñieàu mình ñaõ coù.

4:26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

4:26 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng nhö moät ngöôøi vaûi gioáng xuoáng ñaát;

4:27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knows not how.

4:27 ngöôøi nguû hay daäy, ñeâm vaø ngaøy, gioáng cöù naåy choài moïc leân, maø ngöôøi khoâng bieát theå naøo.

4:28 For the earth brings forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

4:28 Vì ñaát töï sanh ra hoa lôïi: ban ñaàu laø caây, keá ñeán boâng, ñoaïn boâng keát thaønh hoät.

4:29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.

4:29 Khi hoät ñaõ chín, ngöôøi ta lieàn tra löôõi haùi vaøo, vì muøa gaët ñaõ ñeán.

4:30 And he said, Unto which shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

4:30 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Chuùng ta saùnh nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vôùi chi, hay laáy thí duï naøo maø toû ra?

4:31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

4:31 Nöôùc aáy gioáng nhö moät hoät caûi: khi ngöôøi ta gieo, noù nhoû hôn heát caùc hoät gioáng treân ñaát;

4:32 But when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

4:32 song khi gieo roài, noù moïc leân, trôû lôùn hôn moïi thöù rau, vaø nöùt ra nhaønh lôùn, ñeán noãi chim trôøi nuùp döôùi boùng noù ñöôïc.

4:33 And with many such parables spoke he the word (o. logos) unto them, as they were able to hear it.

4:33 Aáy bôûi nhieàu lôøi thí duï nhö caùch aáy maø Ngaøi giaûng ñaïo cho hoï, tuøy theo söùc hoï nghe ñöôïc.

4:34 But without a parable spoke he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

4:34 Ngaøi chaúng heà giaûng cho chuùng maø khoâng duøng thí duï; nhöng, khi ôû rieâng, Ngaøi caét nghóa heát cho moân ñoà mình.

4:35 And the same day, when the even was come, he says unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

4:35 Ñeán chieàu ngaøy aáy, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Chuùng ta haõy qua bôø beân kia.

4:36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

4:36 Khi cho daân chuùng tan veà roài, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cöù ôû trong thuyeàn, vaø moân ñoà ñöa Ngaøi ñi; cuõng coù caùc thuyeàn khaùc cuøng ñi nöõa.

4:37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

4:37 Vaû, coù côn baõo lôùn noåi leân, soùng taït vaøo thuyeàn, ñeán noãi gaàn ñaày nöôùc;

4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, care you not that we perish?

4:38 nhöng Ngaøi ñöông ôû ñaèng sau laùi, döïa goái maø nguû. Moân ñoà thöùc Ngaøi daäy maø thöa raèng: Thaày oâi, thaày khoâng lo chuùng ta cheát sao?

4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

4:39 Ngaøi beøn thöùc daäy, quôû gioù vaø phaùn cuøng bieån raèng: Haõy eâm ñi, laëng ñi! Gioù lieàn döùt vaø ñeàu yeân laëng nhö tôø.

4:40 And he said unto them, Why are all of you so fearful? how is it that all of you have no faith?

4:40 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi sôï? Chöa coù ñöùc tin sao?

4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

4:41 Moân ñoà kinh haõi laém, noùi vôùi nhau raèng: Vaäy thì ngöôøi naày laø ai, maø gioù vaø bieån ñeàu vaâng lònh ngöôøi?

5:1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

5:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuøng moân ñoà qua ñeán bôø bieån beân kia, trong mieàn Gieâ-ra-seâ.

5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, (o. pneuma)

5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

5:4 vì nhieàu laàn ngöôøi bò cuøm chôn hoaëc bò xieàng, roài beû xieàng thaùo cuøm, khoâng ai coù söùc trò ñöôïc.

5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

5:5 Ngöôøi cöù ôû nôi moà maû vaø treân nuùi, ngaøy ñeâm keâu la vaø laáy ñaù ñaùnh baàm mình.

5:6 But when he saw Jesus far off, he ran and worshipped him,

5:6 Ngöôøi thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû ñaèng xa, chaïy laïi saáp mình xuoáng tröôùc maët Ngaøi,

5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the most high God? I adjure you by God, that you torment me not.

5:7 maø keâu lôùn raèng: Hôõi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raát cao, toâi vôùi Ngaøi coù söï gì chaêng? Toâi nhôn danh Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø khaån caàu Ngaøi, xin ñöøng laøm khoå toâi.

5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, you unclean spirit. (o. pneuma)

5:8 Vì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vöøa phaùn cuøng noù raèng: Hôõi taø ma, phaûi ra khoûi ngöôøi naày.

5:9 And he asked him, What is your name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

5:9 Ngaøi laïi hoûi raèng: Maày teân gì? Thöa raèng: Teân toâi laø Quaân ñoäi; vì chuùng toâi ñoâng.

5:10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

5:10 Noù laïi van xin Ngaøi ñöøng ñuoåi chuùng noù ra khoûi mieàn ñoù.

5:11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

5:11 Vaû, choã ñoù, taïi treân nuùi, coù moät baày heo ñoâng ñöông aên.

5:12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

5:12 Caùc quæ caàu xin Ngaøi raèng: Xin khieán chuùng toâi ñeán vôùi baày heo aáy, ñeå chuùng toâi nhaäp vaøo chuùng noù. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cho pheùp.

5:13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits (o. pneuma) went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

5:13 Caùc taø ma ra khoûi ngöôøi ñoù, beøn nhaäp vaøo baày heo töø treân böïc cao vuït ñaâm ñaàu xuoáng bieån. Coù ñoä hai ngaøn con heo cheát chìm caû döôùi bieån.

5:14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

5:14 Nhöng keû chaên heo troán, ñoàn tin naày ra khaép trong thaønh vaø trong nhaø queâ;

5:17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

5:17 Chuùng beøn xin Ngaøi ra khoûi ñòa phaän mình.

5:18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

5:18 Luùc Ngaøi ñöông böôùc vaøo thuyeàn, ngöôøi tröôùc ñaõ bò quæ aùm xin ôû laïi vôùi Ngaøi.

5:19 Nevertheless Jesus suffered him not, but says unto him, Go home to your friends, and tell them how great things the Lord has done for you, and has had compassion on you.

5:19 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khoâng cho, phaùn raèng: Haõy veà nhaø ngöôi, nôi baïn höõu ngöôi, maø thuaät laïi cho hoï ñieàu lôùn lao theå naøo Chuùa ñaõ laøm cho ngöôi, vaø Ngaøi ñaõ thöông xoùt ngöôi caùch naøo.

5:20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

5:20 Vaäy, ngöôøi ñi, ñoàn ra trong xöù Ñeâ-ca-boâ-lô nhöõng ñieàu lôùn lao theå naøo maø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ laøm cho mình; ai naáy ñeàu laáy laøm laï.

5:21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

5:21 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi xuoáng thuyeàn qua bôø beân kia, coù ñoaøn daân ñoâng nhoùm hoïp chung quanh Ngaøi. Ngaøi ñöùng treân bôø bieån.

5:22 And, behold, there comes one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

5:22 Baáy giôø, coù moät ngöôøi trong nhöõng ngöôøi cai nhaø hoäi, teân laø Giai ru, ñeán, thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, beøn gieo mình nôi chôn Ngaøi;

5:23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death: I pray you, come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

5:23 naøi xin maø raèng: Con gaùi nhoû toâi gaàn cheát; xin Chuùa ñeán, ñaët tay treân noù, ñaëng noù laønh maïnh vaø soáng.

5:24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

5:24 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi vôùi ngöôøi; ñoaøn daân ñoâng cuøng ñi theo vaø laán eùp Ngaøi.

5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

5:25 vaû, taïi ñoù coù moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø bò bònh maát huyeát ñaõ möôøi hai naêm,

5:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing improved, but rather grew worse,

5:26 baáy laâu chòu khoå sôû trong tay nhieàu thaày thuoác, hao toán heát tieàn cuûa, maø khoâng thaáy ñôõ gì; bònh laïi caøng naëng theâm.

5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

5:27 Ngöôøi ñaõ nghe tin veà Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, beøn laån vaøo ñaèng sau giöõa ñaùm ñoâng, maø rôø aùo Ngaøi.

5:28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

5:28 Vì ngöôøi noùi raèng: Neáu ta chæ rôø ñeán aùo Ngaøi maø thoâi, thì ta seõ ñöôïc laønh.

5:29 And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

5:29 Cuøng moät luùc aáy, huyeát laäu lieàn caàm laïi; ngöôøi nghe trong mình ñaõ ñöôïc laønh bònh.

5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

5:30 Töùc thì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus töï bieát coù söùc maïnh ñaõ ra töø mình, beøn xaây laïi giöõa ñaùm ñoâng maø hoûi raèng: Ai ñaõ rôø aùo ta?

5:31 And his disciples said unto him, You see the multitude thronging you, and says you, Who touched me?

5:31 Moân ñoà thöa raèng: Thaày thaáy ñaùm ñoâng laán eùp thaày, thaày coøn hoûi raèng: Ai rôø ñeán ta?

5:32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

5:32 Ngaøi nhìn chung quanh mình ñeå xem ngöôøi ñaõ laøm ñieàu ñoù.

5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

5:33 Ngöôøi ñôøn baø bieát söï ñaõ xaûy ñeán cho mình, beøn run sôï ñeán gieo mình döôùi chôn Ngaøi, toû heát tình thaät.

5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of your plague.

5:34 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Hôõi con gaùi ta, ñöùc tin con ñaõ cöùu con; haõy ñi cho bình an vaø ñöôïc laønh bònh.

5:35 While he yet spoke, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Your daughter is dead: why trouble you the Master any further?

5:35 Ñöông khi Ngaøi coøn phaùn, coù keû ñeán töø nhaø ngöôøi cai nhaø hoäi maø noùi vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Con gaùi oâng ñaõ cheát roài; coøn phieàn Thaày laøm chi?

5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word (o. logos) that was spoken, he says unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

5:36 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus chaúng maøng ñeán lôøi aáy, phaùn cuøng cai nhaø hoäi raèng: Ñöøng sôï, chæ tin maø thoâi.

5:37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

5:37 Ngaøi chaúng cho ai theo mình, tröø ra Phi -e-rô, Gia-cô, vaø Giaêng laø em laø Gia-cô.

5:38 And he comes to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and sees the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

5:38 Khi ñaõ ñeán nhaø ngöôøi cai nhaø hoäi, Ngaøi thaáy chuùng laøm om soøm, keû khoùc ngöôøi keâu lôùn tieáng.

5:39 And when he was come in, he says unto them, Why make all of you this disturbance, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleeps.

5:39 Vaøo nhaø roài, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng chuùng raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi laøm oàn aøo vaø khoùc loùc vaäy? Ñöùa treû chaúng phaûi cheát, song noù nguû.

5:40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he takes the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and enters in where the damsel was lying.

5:40 Chuùng nhaïo baùng Ngaøi. Ngaøi beøn ñuoåi chuùng ra heát, ñem cha meï ñöùa treû vôùi nhöõng keû theo Ngaøi, cuøng vaøo choã noù naèm.

5:41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto you, arise.

5:41 Ngaøi naém tay noù maø phaùn raèng: Ta-li-tha Cu-mi; nghóa laø: Hôõi con gaùi nhoû, ta truyeàn cho maày, haõy chôø daäy.

5:42 And immediately the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

5:42 Töùc thì ñöùa gaùi chôø daäy maø böôùc ñi, vì ñaõ leân möôøi hai tuoåi. Chuùng raát laáy laøm laï.

5:43 And he charged them strictly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

5:43 Ngaøi caám ngaët chuùng ñöøng cho ai bieát söï aáy, vaø truyeàn cho ñöùa treû aên.

 Mac - Mark

6:1 And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

6:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi khoûi ñoù, ñeán queâ höông mình, coù caùc moân ñoà cuøng ñi theo.

6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence has this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

6:2 Ñeán ngaøy Sa-baùt, Ngaøi baét ñaàu daïy doã trong nhaø hoäi; thieân haï nghe Ngaøi, laáy laøm laï maø noùi raèng: Ngöôøi bôûi ñaâu ñöôïc nhöõng ñieàu naày? Söï khoân saùng maø ngöôøi ñöôïc ban cho laø gì, vaø theå naøo tay ngöôøi laøm ñöôïc nhöõng pheùp laï döôøng aáy?

6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

6:3 Coù phaûi ngöôøi laø thôï moäc, con trai Ma-ri, anh em vôùi Gia-cô, Gioâ-seâ, Giu-ñeâ, vaø Si-moân chaêng? Chò em ngöôøi haù chaúng phaûi ôû giöõa chuùng ta ñaây ö? Chuùng beøn vaáp phaïm vì côù Ngaøi.

6:4 But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

6:4 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Ñaáng tieân tri chæ bò queâ höông mình, baø con mình vaø trong nhaø mình khinh deå maø thoâi.

6:5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

6:5 ÔÛ ñoù, Ngaøi khoâng laøm pheùp laï naøo ñöôïc, chæ ñaët tay chöõa laønh moät vaøi ngöôøi ñau oám;

6:6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

6:6 vaø Ngaøi laáy laøm laï vì chuùng chaúng tin. Roài Ngaøi ñi khaép caùc laøng gaàn ñoù maø giaûng daïy.

6:7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; (o. pneuma)

6:7 Ngaøi beøn keâu möôøi hai söù ñoà, baét ñaàu sai ñi töøng ñoâi, ban quyeàn pheùp tröø taø ma.

6:8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no pouch, no bread, no money in their purse:

6:8 Ngaøi truyeàn cho söù ñoà ñi ñöôøng ñöøng ñem chi theo heát, hoaëc baùnh, hoaëc bao, hoaëc tieàn baïc trong daây löng, chæ ñem moät caây gaäy maø thoâi;

6:9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

6:9 chæ mang deùp, ñöøng maëc hai aùo.

6:10 And he said unto them, In what place whatsoever all of you enter into an house, there abide till all of you depart from that place.

6:10 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng söù ñoà raèng: Heã nhaø naøo caùc ngöôi seõ vaøo, haõy cöù ôû ñoù, cho ñeán khi ñi.

6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when all of you depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

6:11 Neáu coù choã naøo, ngöôøi ta khoâng chòu tieáp caùc ngöôi, vaø cuõng khoâng nghe caùc ngöôi nöõa, thì haõy ñi khoûi ñoù, vaø phuûi buïi ñaõ dính chôn mình, ñeå laøm chöùng cho hoï.

6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

6:12 Vaäy, caùc söù ñoà ñi ra, giaûng cho ngöôøi ta phaûi aên naên;

6:13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

6:13 ñuoåi ma quæ, xöùc daàu cho nhieàu keû bònh vaø chöõa cho ñöôïc laønh.

6:14 And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him.

6:14 Vaû, vua Heâ-roát nghe noùi veà Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus (vì danh tieáng Ngaøi ñaõ trôû neân löøng laãy), thì noùi raèng: Giaêng, laø ngöôøi laøm pheùp baùp-tem, ñaõ töø keû cheát soáng laïi; cho neân töï ngöôøi laøm ra caùc pheùp laï.

6:15 Others said, That it is Elijah. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.

6:15 Ngöôøi thì noùi: Aáy laø EÂ-li; keû thì noùi: Aáy laø ñaáng tieân tri, nhö moät trong caùc ñaáng tieân tri ñôøi xöa.

6:16 But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he has risen from the dead.

6:16 Nhöng Heâ-roát nghe vaäy, thì noùi raèng: Aáy laø Giaêng maø ta ñaõ truyeàn cheùm, ngöôøi ñaõ soáng laïi.

6:17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.

6:17 Soá laø, Heâ-roát ñaõ sai ngöôøi baét Giaêng, vaø truyeàn xieàng laïi caàm trong nguïc, bôûi côù Heâ-ñoâ-ñia, vôï Phi-líp em vua, vì vua ñaõ cöôùi naøng,

6:18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife.

6:18 vaø Giaêng coù can vua raèng: Vua khoâng neân laáy vôï em mình.

6:19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

6:19 Nhôn ñoù, Heâ-roâ-ñia caêm Giaêng, muoán gieát ñi.

6:20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

6:20 Nhöng khoâng theå gieát, vì Heâ-roát sôï Giaêng, bieát laø moät ngöôøi coâng bình vaø thaùnh. Vua vaãn gìn giöõ ngöôøi, khi nghe lôøi ngöôøi roài, loøng haèng boái roái, maø vua baèng loøng nghe.

6:21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

6:21 Nhöng, vöøa gaëp dòp tieän, laø ngaøy sanh nhöït Heâ-roát, vua ñaõi tieäc caùc quan lôùn trong trieàu, caùc quan voõ, cuøng caùc ngöôi toân tröôûng trong xöù Ga-li-leâ.

6:22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever you will, and I will give it you.

6:22 Chính con gaùi Heâ-roâ-ñia vaøo, nhaûy muùa, ñeïp loøng Heâ-roát vaø caùc ngöôi döï tieäc nöõa. Vua noùi cuøng ngöôøi con gaùi aáy raèng: Haõy xin ta ñieàu chi ngöôi muoán, ta seõ cho.

6:23 And he swore unto her, Whatsoever you shall ask of me, I will give it you, unto the half of my kingdom.

6:23 Vua laïi theà cuøng naøng raèng: Baát kyø ngöôi xin ñieàu chi, ta cuõng seõ cho, daàu xin phaân nöûa nöôùc ta cuõng vaäy.

6:24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

6:24 Naøng ra khoûi ñoù, noùi vôùi meï raèng: Toâi neân xin ñieàu chi? Meï raèng: Caùi ñaàu cuûa Giaêng Baùp-tít.

6:25 And she came in immediately with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that you give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

6:25 Töùc thì naøng voäi trôû vaøo nôi vua maø xin raèng: Toâi muoán vua laäp töùc cho toâi caùi ñaàu Giaêng Baùp-tít ñeå treân maâm.

6:26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

6:26 Vua laáy laøm buoàn raàu laém; nhöng vì côù lôøi theà mình vaø khaùch döï yeán, thì khoâng muoán töø choái naøng.

6:27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,

6:27 Vua lieàn sai moät ngöôøi lính thò veä truyeàn ñem ñaàu Giaêng ñeán.

6:28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

6:28 Ngöôøi aáy ñi cheùm Giaêng trong nguïc; roài ñeå ñaàu treân maâm ñem cho ngöôøi con gaùi, vaø ngöôøi con gaùi ñem cho meï mình.

6:29 And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.

6:29 Moân ñoà Giaêng nghe tin, ñeán laáy xaùc ngöôøi choân trong maû.

6:30 And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

6:30 Caùc söù ñoà nhoùm laïi cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, thuaät cho Ngaøi moïi ñieàu mình ñaõ laøm vaø daïy.

6:31 And he said unto them, Come all of you yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

6:31 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng söù ñoà raèng: Haõy ñi teû ra trong nôi vaéng veû, nghæ ngôi moät chuùt. Vì coù keû ñi ngöôøi laïi ñoâng laém, ñeán noãi Ngaøi vaø söù ñoà khoâng coù thì giôø maø aên.

6:32 And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.

6:32 Vaäy, Ngaøi vaø söù ñoà xuoáng thuyeàn ñaëng ñi teû ra trong nôi vaéng veû.

6:33 And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran on foot thither out of all cities, and advanced before them, and came together unto him.

6:33 Nhöng nhieàu ngöôøi thaáy ñi, thì nhaän bieát; daân chuùng töø khaép caùc thaønh ñeàu chaïy boä ñeán nôi Chuùa cuøng söù ñoà vöøa ñi, vaø ñaõ tôùi ñoù tröôùc.

6:34 And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

6:34 Baáy giôø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû thuyeàn böôùc ra, thaáy ñoaøn daân ñoâng laém, thì Ngaøi ñoäng loøng thöông xoùt ñeán, vì nhö chieân khoâng coù ngöôøi chaên; Ngaøi beøn khôûi söï daïy doã hoï nhieàu ñieàu.

6:35 And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:

6:35 Trôøi ñaõ chieàu, moân ñoà tôùi gaàn Ngaøi maø thöa raèng: Choã naày laø vaéng veû, vaø trôøi ñaõ chieàu roài;

6:36 Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.

6:36 xin cho daân chuùng veà, ñeå hoï ñi caùc nôi nhaø queâ vaø caùc laøng gaàn ñaây ñaëng mua ñoà aên.

6:37 He answered and said unto them, Give all of you them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?

6:37 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Chính caùc ngöôi phaûi cho hoï aên. Moân ñoà thöa raèng: chuùng toâi seõ ñi mua ñeán hai traêm ñô-ni-eâ baùnh ñeå cho hoï aên hay sao?

6:38 He says unto them, How many loaves have all of you? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.

6:38 Ngaøi hoûi raèng: Caùc ngöôi coù bao nhieâu baùnh? Haõy ñi xem thöû. Moân ñoà xem xeùt roài, thöa raèng: Naêm caùi baùnh vaø hai con caù.

6:39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

6:39 Ngaøi beøn truyeàn cho moân ñoà bieåu chuùng ngoài xuoáng heát thaûy töøng choøm treân coû xanh.

6:40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

6:40 Chuùng ngoài xuoáng töøng haøng, haøng thì moät traêm, haøng thì naêm chuïc.

6:41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

6:41 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laáy naêm caùi baùnh vaø hai con caù, ngöôùc maét leân trôøi, taï ôn, roài beû baùnh ra maø trao cho moân ñoà, ñaëng phaùt cho ñoaøn daân; laïi cuõng chia hai con caù cho hoï nöõa.

6:42 And they did all eat, and were filled.

6:42 Ai naáy aên no neâ roài;

6:43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.

6:43 ngöôøi ta löôïm ñöôïc möôøi hai gioû ñaày nhöõng mieáng baùnh vaø caù coøn thöøa laïi.

6:44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

6:44 Vaû, soá nhöõng keû ñaõ aên chöøng naêm ngaøn ngöôøi.

6:45 And immediately he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

6:45 Roài Ngaøi lieàn giuïc moân ñoà vaøo thuyeàn, qua bôø beân kia tröôùc mình, höôùng ñeán thaønh Beát-sai-ña, trong khi Ngaøi cho daân chuùng veà.

6:46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.

6:46 Ngaøi lìa khoûi chuùng roài, thì leân nuùi maø caàu nguyeän.

6:47 And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

6:47 Ñeán toái, chieác thuyeàn ñöông ôû giöõa bieån, coøn Ngaøi thì ôû moät mình treân ñaát.

6:48 And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he comes unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

6:48 Ngaøi thaáy moân ñoà cheøo khoù nhoïc laém, vì gioù ngöôïc. Loái canh tö ñeâm aáy, Ngaøi ñi boä treân bieån maø ñeán cuøng moân ñoà; vaø muoán ñi tröôùc.

6:49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:

6:49 Moân ñoà thaáy Ngaøi ñi boä treân maët bieån ngôõ laø ma, neân la leân;

6:50 For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and says unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

6:50 vì ai naáy ñeàu thaáy Ngaøi vaø sôï hoaûng. nhöng Ngaøi lieàn noùi chuyeän vôùi moân ñoà vaø phaùn raèng: Haõy yeân loøng, ta ñaây ñöøng sôï chi.

6:51 And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

6:51 Ngaøi beøn böôùc leân thuyeàn vôùi moân ñoà, thì gioù laëng. Moân ñoà caøng laáy laøm laï hôn nöõa;

6:52 For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

6:52 vì chaúng hieåu pheùp laï veà maáy caùi baùnh, bôûi loøng cöùng coûi.

6:53 And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.

6:53 Khi Ngaøi vaø moân ñoà ñaõ qua khoûi bieån, ñeán xöù Gheâ-neâ-xa-reát, thì gheù thuyeàn vaøo bôø.

6:54 And when they were come out of the ship, immediately they knew him,

6:54 Vöøa ôû trong thuyeàn böôùc ra, coù daân chuùng nhaän bieát Ngaøi,

6:55 And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.

7:1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

7:1 Baáy giôø caùc ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø maáy thaày thoâng giaùo töø thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñeán, nhoùm laïi cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus,

7:2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashed, hands, they found fault.

7:2 thaáy moät vaøi moân ñoà Ngaøi duøng tay chöa tinh saïch maø aên, nghóa laø khoâng röûa tay.

7:3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands often, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

7:3 Vaû, ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø ngöôøi Giu-ña thöôøng giöõ lôøi truyeàn khaåu cuûa ngöôøi xöa, neáu khoâng röûa tay caån thaän thì khoâng aên;

7:4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brazen vessels, and of tables.

7:4 khi hoï ôû chôï veà, neáu khoâng röûa cuõng khoâng aên. Hoï laïi coøn theo lôøi truyeàn khaåu maø giöõ nhieàu söï khaùc nöõa, nhö röûa cheùn vaø bình baèng ñaát hoaëc baèng ñoàng.

7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not your disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?

7:5 Vaäy, caùc ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Sao moân ñoà thaày khoâng giöõ lôøi truyeàn khaåu cuûa ngöôøi xöa, duøng tay chöa tinh saïch maø aên nhö vaäy?

7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

7:6 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Hôõi keû giaû hình, EÂ-sai ñaõ noùi tieân tri veà vieäc caùc ngöôi phaûi laém, nhö coù cheùp raèng: Daân naày laáy moâi mieáng thôø kính ta; Nhöng loøng chuùng noù xa ta laém.

7:7 Nevertheless in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

7:7 Söï chuùng noù thôø laïy ta laø voâ ích, Vì chuùng noù daïy theo nhöõng ñieàu raên maø chæ bôûi ngöôøi ta ñaët ra.

7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, all of you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things all of you do.

7:8 Caùc ngöôi boû ñieàu raên cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, maø giöõ lôøi truyeàn khaåu cuûa loaøi ngöôøi!

7:9 And he said unto them, Full well all of you reject the commandment of God, that all of you may keep your own tradition.

7:9 Ngaøi cuõng phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Caùc ngöôi boû haún ñieàu raên cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñaëng giöõ theo lôøi truyeàn khaåu cuûa mình.

7:10 For Moses said, Honour your father and your mother; and, Whoso curses father or mother, let him die the death:

7:10 Vì Moâi-se coù noùi: Haõy toân kính cha meï ngöôi; laïi noùi: Ai ruûa saû cha meï, thì phaûi bò gieát.

7:11 But all of you say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; he shall be free.

7:11 Nhöng caùc ngöôi noùi raèng: Neáu ai noùi vôùi cha hay meï mình raèng: Moïi ñieàu toâi seõ giuùp cha meï ñöôïc, thì ñaõ laø co-ban (nghóa laø söï daâng cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi),

7:12 And all of you suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

7:12 vaäy ngöôøi aáy khoâng ñöôïc pheùp giuùp cha meï mình söï gì nöõa;

7:13 Making the word (o. logos) of God of no effect through your tradition, which all of you have delivered: and many such like things do all of you.

7:13 döôøng aáy, caùc ngöôi laáy lôøi truyeàn khaåu mình laäp ra maø boû maát lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Caùc ngöôi coøn laøm nhieàu vieäc khaùc nöõa gioáng nhö vaäy.

7:14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:

7:14 Baáy giôø, Ngaøi laïi keâu ñoaøn daân maø phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi ai naáy haõy nghe ta vaø hieåu:

7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

7:15 Chaúng söï gì töø ngoaøi vaøo trong cô theå laøm dô daùy ngöôøi ñöôïc; nhöng söï gì töø trong ngöôøi ra, ñoù laø söï laøm dô daùy ngöôøi.

7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

7:16 Neáu ai coù tai maø nghe, haõy nghe.

7:17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

7:17 Khi Ngaøi vaøo trong nhaø, caùch xa ñoaøn daân roài, moân ñoà hoûi Ngaøi veà lôøi thí duï aáy.

7:18 And he says unto them, Are all of you so without understanding also? Do all of you not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without enters into the man, it cannot defile him;

7:18 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Vaäy chôù caùc ngöôi cuõng khoâng coù trí khoân sao? Chöa hieåu chaúng coù söï gì ôû ngoaøi vaøo trong ngöôøi maø laøm dô daùy ngöôøi ñöôïc sao?

7:19 Because it enters not into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the draught, purging all meats?

7:19 Vaû, söï ñoù khoâng vaøo loøng ngöôøi, nhöng vaøo buïng, roài bò boû ra nôi kín ñaùo, nhö vaäy laøm cho moïi ñoà aên ñöôïc saïch.

7:20 And he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man.

7:20 Vaäy, Ngaøi phaùn: Heã söï gì töø ngöôøi ra, ñoù laø söï laøm dô daùy ngöôøi!

7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

7:21 Vì thaät laø töï trong, töï loøng ngöôøi maø ra nhöõng aùc töôûng, söï daâm duïc, troäm cöôùp, gieát ngöôøi,

7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

7:22 taø daâm, tham lam, hung aùc, gian doái, hoang ñaøng, con maét ganh ñoá, loäng ngoân, kieâu ngaïo, ñieân cuoàng.

7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

7:23 Heát thaûy nhöõng ñieàu xaáu aáy ra töø trong loøng thì laøm cho dô daùy ngöôøi.

7:24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.

7:24 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi töø ñoù ñi ñeán bôø coõi thaønh Ty-rô vaø thaønh Si-ñoân. Ngaøi vaøo moät caùi nhaø, khoâng muoán cho ai bieát mình, song khoâng theå aån ñöôïc.

7:25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, (o. pneuma) heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

7:25 Vì coù moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø, con gaùi ngöôøi bò taø ma aùm, ñaõ nghe noùi veà Ngaøi, töùc thì vaøo gieo mình döôùi chôn Ngaøi.

7:26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

7:26 Ñôøn baø aáy laø ngöôøi Gôø-reùc, daân Sy-roâ-pheâ-ni-xi. Ngöôøi xin Ngaøi ñuoåi quæ ra khoûi con gaùi mình.

7:27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

7:27 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Haõy ñeå con caùi aên no neâ tröôùc ñaõ; vì khoâng leõ laáy baùnh cuûa con caùi quaêng cho choù.

7:28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

7:28 Song ngöôøi ñaùp laïi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, haún vaäy roài; nhöng maø choù döôùi baøn aên maáy mieáng baùnh vuïn cuûa con caùi.

7:29 And he said unto her, For this saying (o. logos) go your way; the devil is gone out of your daughter.

7:29 Ngaøi beøn phaùn: Haõy ñi, vì lôøi aáy, quæ ñaõ ra khoûi con gaùi ngöôi roài.

7:30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

7:30 Khi ngöôøi trôû veà nhaø, thaáy ñöùa treû naèm treân giöôøng, vaø quæ ñaõ bò ñuoåi khoûi.

7:31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.

7:31 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus lìa bôø coõi thaønh Ty-rô, qua thaønh Si-ñoân vaø traûi ñòa phaän Ñeâ-ca-boâ-lô, ñeán bieån Ga-li-leâ.

7:32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an barrier in his speech; and they plead to him to put his hand upon him.

7:32 Ngöôøi ta ñem moät ngöôøi ñieác vaø ngoïng ñeán cuøng Ngaøi, xin Ngaøi ñaët tay treân ngöôøi.

7:33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

7:33 Ngaøi ñem rieâng ngöôøi ra, caùch xa ñaùm ñoâng, roài ñeå ngoùn tay vaøo loã tai ngöôøi, vaø thaám nöôùc mieáng xöùc löôõi ngöôøi.

7:34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and says unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

7:34 Ñoaïn Ngaøi ngöûa maët leân trôøi, thôû ra maø phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Eùp-pha-ta! nghóa laø: Haõy môû ra!

7:35 And immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plain.

7:35 Töùc thì tai ñöôïc môû ra, löôõi ñöôïc thong thaû, ngöôøi noùi roõ raøng.

7:36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

7:37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He has done all things well: he makes both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

7:37 Chuùng laïi laáy laøm laï quaù ñoãi maø raèng: Ngaøi laøm moïi vieäc ñöôïc toát laønh: khieán keû ñieác nghe, keû caâm noùi vaäy!

8:1 In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and says unto them,

8:1 Nhöõng ngaøy ñoù, laïi coù moät ñoaøn daân ñoâng theo Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus. Vì chuùng khoâng coù chi aên, neân Ngaøi keâu caùc moân ñoà maø phaùn raèng:

8:2 I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:

8:2 Ta thöông xoùt ñoaøn daân naày: vì ñaõ ba ngaøy nay, khoâng rôøi boû ta, vaø chaúng coù chi aên.

8:3 And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

8:3 Neáu ta truyeàn cho nhòn ñoùi trôû veà nôi hoï ôû, doïc ñaøng chaéc seõ keùm söùc, vì coù maáy ngöôøi ñaõ ñeán töø nôi xa.

8:4 And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

8:4 Moân ñoà thöa raèng: Coù theå kieám baùnh ñaâu ñöôïc trong ñoàng vaéng naày cho chuùng aên no ö?

8:5 And he asked them, How many loaves have all of you? And they said, Seven.

8:5 Ngaøi noùi: Caùc ngöôi coù bao nhieâu baùnh? Thöa: Coù baûy caùi.

8:6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

8:6 Ngaøi beøn bieåu ñoaøn daân ngoài xuoáng ñaát; ñoaïn laáy baûy caùi baùnh, taï ôn, roài beû ra trao cho moân ñoà ñeå phaân phaùt cho ñoaøn daân.

8:7 And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

8:7 Moân ñoà cuõng coù maáy con caù nhoû; Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus taï ôn roài, cuõng khieán ñem phaân phaùt nhö vaäy.

8:8 So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken food that was left seven baskets.

8:8 Ai naáy aên no neâ; roài ngöôøi ta thaâu ñöôïc baûy gioû nhöõng mieáng thöøa.

8:9 And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

8:9 Vaø, nhöõng ngöôøi aên ñoù öôùc chöøng boán ngaøn ngöôøi. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cho chuùng veà;

8:10 And immediately he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

8:10 roài lieàn vaøo thuyeàn vôùi moân ñoà, sang xöù Ña-ma-nu-tha.

8:11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

8:11 Coù maáy ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñeán ñoù, caõi leõ vôùi Ngaøi, muoán thöû Ngaøi, thì xin moät daáu laï töø treân trôøi.

8:12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit, (o. pneuma) and says, Why does this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

8:12 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus than thôû trong loøng maø raèng: Laøm sao doøng doõi naày xin daáu laï? Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, hoï chaúng ñöôïc ban cho moät daáu laï naøo.

8:13 And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

8:13 Ngaøi beøn boû hoï, trôû vaøo thuyeàn maø qua bôø beân kia.

8:14 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

8:14 Vaû, moân ñoà queân ñem baùnh theo, trong thuyeàn chæ coù moät caùi baùnh maø thoâi.

8:15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

8:15 Ngaøi raên moân ñoà raèng: Haõy giöõ mình caån thaän veà men ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, vaø men ñaõng Heâ-roát.

8:16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

8:16 Moân-ñoà noùi cuøng nhau raèng: Aáy laø vì chuùng ta khoâng coù baùnh.

8:17 And when Jesus knew it, he says unto them, Why reason all of you, because all of you have no bread? perceive all of you not yet, neither understand? have all of you your heart yet hardened?

8:17 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát ñieàu ñoù, thì phaùn raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi noùi cuøng nhau raèng ñoù laø taïi caùc ngöôi khoâng coù baùnh? Chôù caùc ngöôi coøn chöa nghe, chöa hieåu sao? Caùc ngöôi coù loøng cöùng coûi luoân ö?

8:18 Having eyes, see all of you not? and having ears, hear all of you not? and do all of you not remember?

8:18 Caùc ngöôi laïi khoâng nhôù hay sao? Coù tai maø sao khoâng nghe? Caùc ngöôi laïi khoâng nhôù hay sao?

8:19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took all of you up? They say unto him, Twelve.

8:19 Khi ta beû naêm caùi baùnh cho naêm ngaøn ngöôøi, caùc ngöôi thaâu ñöôïc maáy gioû ñaày baùnh vuïn? Thöa: Möôøi hai gioû.

8:20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took all of you up? And they said, Seven.

8:20 Coøn khi ta beû baûy caùi baùnh cho boán ngaøn ngöôøi, caùc ngöôi thaâu ñöôïc baáy gioû ñaày baùnh vuïn? Thöa: Baûy gioû.

8:21 And he said unto them, How is it that all of you do not understand?

8:21 Ngaøi phaùn: Caùc ngöôi coøn chöa hieåu sao?

8:22 And he comes to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

8:22 Keá ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø moân ñoà ñi ñeán laøng Beát-sai-ña. Ngöôøi ta ñem cho Ngaøi moät ngöôøi muø vaø caàu xin Ngaøi rôø ñeán ngöôøi.

8:23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

8:23 Ngaøi beøn naém tay ngöôøi muø, daét ra ngoaøi laøng, thaám nöôùc mieáng treân maét ngöôøi, ñaët tay treân ngöôøi, vaø hoûi, coù thaáy chi khoâng?

8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

8:24 Ngöôøi muø ngoù leân roài thöa raèng: Toâi thaáy ngöôøi ta, vaø nhìn hoï gioáng nhö caây.

8:25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

8:25 Roài Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi ñaët tay treân maét ngöôøi; ngöôøi nhìn xem, ñöôïc saùng maét thaáy roõ raøng caû thaûy.

8:26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

8:26 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khieán ngöôøi veà nhaø, vaø truyeàn raèng: Ñöøng trôû vaøo trong laøng.

8:27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

8:27 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi khoûi ñoù vôùi moân ñoà mình, ñeán trong caùc laøng gaàn thaønh Seâ-sa-reâ phi-líp. Doïc ñaøng, Ngaøi hoûi moân ñoà raèng: Ngöôøi ta noùi ta laø ai?

8:28 And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, One of the prophets.

8:28 Thöa raèng: Keû thì noùi laø Giaêng Baùp-tít; ngöôøi thì noùi laø EÂ-li; keû thì noùi moät trong caùc ñaáng tieân tri.

8:29 And he says unto them, But whom say all of you that I am? And Peter answers and says unto him, You are the Christ.

8:29 Ngaøi hoûi: Nhöng caùc ngöôi thì noùi ta laø ai? Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Thaày laø Ñaáng Christ.

8:30 And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.

8:30 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn caám ngaët moân ñoà chôù noùi söï mình cuøng ai heát.

8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

8:31 Baáy giôø, nöôùc khôûi söï daïy moân ñoà raèng Con ngöôøi phaûi chòu khoå nhieàu, phaûi bò caùc tröôûng laõo, caùc thaày teá leã caû, vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo loaïi ra, phaûi chòu gieát, sau ba ngaøy phaûi soáng laïi.

8:32 And he spoke that saying (o. logos) openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

8:32 Ngaøi noùi toû töôøng ñieàu ñoù vôùi moân ñoà. Phi -e-rô ñem Ngaøi rieâng ra, maø caên giaùn Ngaøi.

8:33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get you behind me, Satan: for you savour not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

8:33 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus xaây laïi ngoù moân ñoà, vaø quôû Phi -e-rô raèng: Hôõi quæ Sa-tan, haõy lui ra ñaèng sau ta; vì ngöôøi chaúng nghó ñeán vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, song nghó ñeán vieäc ngöôøi ta.

8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

8:34 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi keâu daân chuùng vaø moân ñoà, maø phaùn raèng: Neáu ai muoán theo ta, phaûi lieàu mình, vaùc thaäp töï giaù mình maø theo ta.

8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

8:35 Vì ai muoán cöùu söï soáng mình thì seõ maát; coøn ai vì côù ta vaø ñaïo Tin Laønh maø maát söï soáng thì seõ cöùu.

8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

8:36 Ngöôøi naøo neáu ñöôïc caû thieân haï maø maát linh hoàn mình, thì coù ích gì?

8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

8:37 Hay laø coù ngöôøi naøo laáy chi maø ñoåi linh hoàn mình ö?

8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words (o. logos) in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

8:38 Vì giöõa doøng doõi gian daâm toäi loãi naày, heã ai hoå theïn veà ta vaø ñaïo ta, thì Con ngöôøi seõ hoå theïn veà keû aáy, khi ngöï trong söï vinh hieån cuûa Cha Ngaøi maø ñeán vôùi caùc thieân söù thaùnh.

9:5 Phi -e-rô beøn caát tieáng thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Laïy thaày, chuùng ta ôû ñaây toát laém; haõy ñoùng ba traïi, moät caùi cho thaày, moät caùi cho Moâi-se, vaø moät caùi cho EÂ-li.

9:6 For he knows not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

9:6 Vì Phi -e-rô khoâng bieát mình noùi chi, taïi caû ba ñeàu sôï haõi.

9:7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

9:7 Laïi coù moät ñaùm maây bao phuû laáy; vaø töø ñaùm maây coù tieáng phaùn raèng: Ngöôøi naày laø Con raát yeâu daáu cuûa ta, haõy vaâng nghe ngöôøi.

9:8 And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

9:8 Thình lình, caùc moân ñoà ngoù quanh quaát, chaúng thaáy ai nöõa, chæ coøn moät mình Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû vôùi mình maø thoâi.

9:9 And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

9:9 Khi töø treân nuùi xuoáng, Ngaøi caám moân ñoà ñöøng noùi laïi vôùi ai nhöõng ñieàu mình ñaõ thaáy, cho ñeán chöøng naøo Con ngöôøi töø keû cheát soáng laïi.

9:10 And they kept that saying (o. logos) with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

9:10 Vaäy, moân ñoà ghi nhôù lôøi aáy, vaø hoûi nhau söï töø keû cheát soáng laïi laø gì.

9:11 And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elijah must first come?

9:11 Laïi hoûi noùi Ngaøi raèng: Sao caùc thaày thoâng giaùo noùi raèng: EÂ-li phaûi ñeán tröôùc?

9:12 And he answered and told them, Elijah verily comes first, and restores all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nothing.

9:12 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Thaät EÂ-li phaûi ñeán tröôùc söûa laïi moïi vieäc. Vaäy thì sao coù cheùp veà Con ngöôøi raèng Ngaøi phaûi chòu khoå nhieàu vaø bò khinh deå ö?

9:13 But I say unto you, That Elijah is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

9:13 Vaû, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, EÂ-li ñaõ ñeán roài, ngöôøi ta ñaõi ngöôøi theo yù muoán mình, y nhö lôøi ñaõ cheùp veà vieäc ngöôøi vaäy.

9:14 And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

9:14 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vôùi ba ngöôøi ñeán cuøng caùc moân ñoà khaùc, thì thaáy ñoaøn daân raát ñoâng vaây chung quanh, vaø maáy thaày thoâng giaùo ñöông caõi leõ vôùi caùc moân ñoà aáy.

9:15 And immediately all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.

9:15 Caû ñoaøn daân naày vöøa thaáy Ngaøi, lieàn laáy laøm laï, thaûy ñeàu chaïy ñeán chaøo Ngaøi.

9:16 And he asked the scribes, What question all of you with them?

9:16 Ngaøi beøn hoûi raèng: Caùc ngöôi caõi leõ vôùi moân ñoà veà vieäc gì?

9:17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto you my son, which has a dumb spirit; (o. pneuma)

9:17 Moät ngöôøi trong ñaùm ñoâng thöa raèng: Laïy thaày, toâi ñaõ ñem con trai toâi tôùi cho thaày; noù bò quæ caâm aùm,

9:18 And where ever he takes him, he tears him: and he foams, and gnashes with his teeth, and pins away: and I spoke to your disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

9:18 khoâng cöù choã naøo quæ aùm vaøo thì laøm cho noåi kinh phong, soâi boït moàm, nghieán raêng, roài noù moøn moûi ñi; toâi ñaõ xin moân ñoà thaày ñuoåi quæ aáy, song ñuoåi khoâng ñöôïc.

9:19 He answers him, and says, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

9:20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, immediately the spirit (o. pneuma) tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

9:20 Chuùng beøn ñem ñöùa treû cho Ngaøi. Ñöùa treû vöøa thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, töùc thì ngaõ xuoáng ñaát, roài laên loùc soâi boït mieáng ra.

9:21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

9:21 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hoûi cha noù raèng: Ñieàu ñoù xaûy ñeán cho noù ñaõ bao laâu? Ngöôøi cha thöa raèng: Töø khi noù coøn nhoû.

9:22 And frequently it has cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if you can do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

9:22 Quæ ñaõ laém phen quaêng noù trong löûa vaø döôùi nöôùc, ñeå gieát noù ñi; nhöng neáu thaày laøm ñöôïc vieäc gì, xin thöông xoùt chuùng toâi vaø giuùp cho!

9:23 Jesus said unto him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.

9:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Sao ngöôi noùi: Neáu thaày laøm ñöôïc? Keû naøo tin thì moïi vieäc ñeàu ñöôïc caû.

9:24 And immediately the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help you mine unbelief.

9:24 Töùc thì cha ñöùa treû la leân raèng: Toâi tin; xin Chuùa giuùp ñôõ trong söï khoâng tin cuûa toâi!

9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, (o. pneuma) saying unto him, You dumb and deaf spirit, (o. pneuma) I charge you, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

9:25 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy daân chuùng chaïy ñeán ñoâng, thì Ngaøi quôû traùch taø ma vaø phaùn cuøng noù raèng: Hôõi quæ caâm vaø ñieác, ta bieåu maày phaûi ra khoûi ñöùa treû naày, ñöøng aùm noù nöõa.

9:26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

9:26 Quæ beøn la lôùn tieáng leân, vaät ñöùa treû maïnh laém maø ra khoûi; ñöùa treû trôû nhö cheát vaäy, neân noãi nhieàu ngöôøi noùi raèng: Noù cheát roài.

9:27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

9:27 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus naém tay noù, naâng leân; thì noù ñöùng daäy.

9:28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

9:28 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo nhaø roài, moân ñoà hoûi rieâng Ngaøi raèng: Sao chuùng toâi ñuoåi quæ aáy khoâng ñöôïc?

9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

9:29 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Neáu khoâng caàu nguyeän, thì chaúng ai ñuoåi thöù quæ aáy ra ñöôïc.

9:30 And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.

9:30 Ñoaïn, ñi khoûi ñoù, traûi qua xöù Ga-li-leâ, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khoâng muoán cho ai bieát.

9:31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

9:31 Vì Ngaøi daïy caùc moân ñoà raèng: Con ngöôøi seõ bò noäp trong tay ngöôøi ta, hoï seõ gieát ñi; Ngaøi bò gieát ñaõ ba ngaøy roài, thì seõ soáng laïi.

9:32 But they understood not that saying, (o. rhema) and were afraid to ask him.

9:32 Nhöng moân ñoà khoâng hieåu lôøi aáy, laïi sôï khoâng daùm hoûi Ngaøi.

9:33 And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that all of you disputed among yourselves by the way?

9:33 Ñeán thaønh Ca-beâ-na-um, ñang ôû trong nhaø, Ngaøi hoûi moân ñoà raèng: Luùc ñi ñöôøng, caùc ngöôi noùi chi vôùi nhau?

9:34 But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.

9:34 Moân ñoà ñeàu laøm thinh; vì doïc ñöôøng ñaõ caõi nhau cho bieát ai laø lôùn hôn trong boïn mình.

9:35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and says unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

9:35 Ngaøi beøn ngoài, keâu möôøi hai söù ñoà maø phaùn raèng: Neáu ai muoán laøm ñaàu, thì phaûi laøm roát heát vaø laøm toâi tôù moïi ngöôøi.

9:36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,

9:36 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi baét moät ñöùa treû ñeå ôû giöõa moân ñoà; roài aüm noù trong tay, maø phaùn raèng:

9:37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receives me: and whosoever shall receive me, receives not me, but him that sent me.

9:37 Heã ai vì danh ta tieáp moät ñöùa trong nhöõng ñöùa treû naày, töùc laø tieáp ta; coøn ai tieáp ta, thì chaúng phaûi tieáp ta, beøn laø tieáp Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta vaäy.

9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in your name, and he follows not us: and we forbad him, because he follows not us.

9:38 Giaêng thöa cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Laïy thaày, chuùng toâi töøng thaáy coù ngöôøi laáy danh thaày maø tröø quæ, thì chuùng toâi ñaõ caám, vì hoï khoâng theo chuùng ta.

9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

9:39 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Ñöøng caám laøm chi; vì chaúng ai cuøng trong moät luùc, vöøa nhôn danh ta laøm pheùp laï, vöøa noùi xaáu ta ñöôïc.

9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

9:40 Heã ai khoâng nghòch cuøng ta laø thuoäc veà ta.

9:41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because all of you belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

9:41 Coøn ai nhôn danh ta maø cho caùc ngöôi moät cheùn nöôùc, vì caùc ngöôi thuoäc veà Ñaáng Christ, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ngöôøi aáy seõ khoâng maát phaàn thöôûng mình ñaâu.

9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

9:42 Nhöng heã ai laøm cho moät ñöùa trong nhöõng ñöùa nhoû naày ñaõ tin, phaûi sa vaøo toäi loãi, thì thaø buoäc coái ñaù lôùn vaøo coå noù maø boû xuoáng bieån coøn hôn.

9:43 And if your hand offend you, cut it off: it is better for you to enter into life physically disabled, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

9:43 Neáu tay ngöôi laøm cho ngöôi phaïm toäi, haõy chaët noù ñi; thaø raèng moät tay maø vaøo söï soáng, coøn hôn ñuû hai tay maø sa xuoáng ñòa nguïc, trong löûa chaúng heà taét.

9:44 Where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.

9:44 Ñoù laø nôi saâu boï cuûa chuùng noù chaúng heà cheát, vaø laø nôi löûa chaúng heà taét.

9:45 And if your foot offend you, cut it off: it is better for you to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

9:45 Laïi neáu chôn ngöôi laøm cho ngöôi phaïm toäi, haõy chaët noù ñi; thaø raèng queø chôn maø vaøo söï soáng, coøn hôn laø ñuû hai chôn maø bò quaêng vaøo ñòa nguïc.

9:46 Ñoù laø nôi saâu boï cuûa chuùng noù chaúng heà cheát, vaø laø nôi löûa chaúng heà taét.

9:47 And if yours eye offend you, pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

9:47 Coøn neáu maét ngöôi laøm cho ngöôi phaïm toäi, haõy moùc noù ñi; thaø raèng chæ moät maét maø vaøo nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, coøn hôn ñuû hai maét maø bò quaêng vaøo ñòa nguïc,

9:48 ñoù laø nôi saâu boï cuûa chuùng noù chaúng heà cheát vaø laø nôi löûa chaúng heà taét.

9:49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

9:49 Vì moãi ngöôøi seõ bò muoái baèng löûa.

9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltiness, wherewith will all of you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

9:50 Muoái laø vaät toát, nhöng neáu maát maën ñi, thì laáy chi laøm cho maën laïi ñöôïc? (9-51) Caùc ngöôi phaûi coù muoái trong loøng mình, laïi phaûi hoøa thuaän cuøng nhau.

 Mac - Mark

10:1 And he arose from thence, and comes into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was known, he taught them again.

10:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus töø ñoù maø ñi, qua bôø coõi xöù Giu-ñeâ, beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh. Ñoaøn daân ñoâng laïi nhoùm hoïp cuøng Ngaøi, Ngaøi daïy doã chuùng y nhö leä thöôøng.

10:2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.

10:2 Caùc ngöôøi Pha-ri-si beøn ñeán gaàn hoûi ñeå thöû Ngaøi raèng: Ngöôøi nam coù pheùp ñeå vôï mình chaêng?

10:3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

10:3 Ngaøi traû lôøi raèng: Vaäy chôù Moâi-se daïy caùc ngöôi ñieàu chi?

10:4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

10:4 Hoï thöa raèng: Moâi-se coù cho pheùp vieát tôø ñeå vaø cho pheùp ñeå vôï.

10:5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

10:5 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Aáy vì côù loøng caùc ngöôi cöùng coõi, neân ngöôøi ñaõ truyeàn maïng naày cho.

10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

10:6 Nhöng töø luùc ñaàu saùng theá, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm ra moät ngöôøi nam vaø moät ngöôøi nöõ.

10:7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

10:7 Vì côù ñoù, ngöôøi nam lìa cha meï mình maø dính díu vôùi vôï;

10:8 And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh.

10:8 vaø hai ngöôøi cuøng neân moät thòt maø thoâi. Nhö theá, vôï choàng chaúng phaûi maø hai nöõa, maø chæ moät thòt.

10:9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.

10:9 Vaäy, ngöôøi ta khoâng neân phaân reõ nhöõng keû maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ phoái hieäp.

10:10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

10:10 Khi ôû trong nhaø, moân ñoà laïi hoûi Ngaøi veà vieäc aáy;

10:11 And he says unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, commits adultery against her.

10:11 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Ai ñeå vôï mình maø cöôùi vôï khaùc, thì phaïm toäi taø daâm vôùi ngöôøi;

10:12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she commits adultery.

10:12 coøn neáu ngöôøi ñôøn baø boû choàng mình maø laáy choàng khaùc, thì cuõng phaïm toäi taø daâm.

10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.

10:13 Ngöôøi ta ñem nhöõng con treû ñeán cuøng Ngaøi, ñaëng Ngaøi rôø chuùng noù; nhöng moân ñoà traùch nhöõng keû ñem ñeán.

10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

10:14 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy vaäy, beøn giaän maø phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Haõy ñeå con treû ñeán cuøng ta, ñöøng caám chuùng noù; vì nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thuoäc veà nhöõng keû gioáng nhö con treû aáy.

10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

10:15 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ai chaúng nhaän laáy nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nhö moät ñöùa treû, thì chaúng ñöôïc vaøo ñoù bao giôø.

10:16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

10:16 Ngaøi laïi boàng nhöõng ñöùa treû aáy, ñaët tay treân chuùng noù maø chuùc phöôùc cho.

10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

10:17 Ngaøi ñang ra ñi, coù moät ngöôøi chaïy laïi, quì tröôùc maët Ngaøi, maø hoûi raèng: Thöa thaày nhôn laønh, toâi phaûi laøm chi cho ñöôïc höôûng söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi?

10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

10:18 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Sao ngöôi goïi ta laø nhôn laønh? Chæ coù moät Ñaáng nhôn laønh, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

10:19 You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour your father and mother.

10:19 Ngöôi bieát caùc ñieàu raên: Ñöøng phaïm toäi taø daâm; ñöøng gieát ngöôøi; ñöøng troäm cöôùp; ñöøng laøm chöùng doái; ñöøng laøm gian; haõy hieáu kính cha meï.

10:20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

10:20 Ngöôøi thöa raèng: Laïy thaày, toâi ñaõ giöõ moïi ñieàu ñoù töø khi coøn nhoû.

10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing you lack: go your way, sell whatsoever you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

10:21 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ngoù ngöôøi maø yeâu, neân phaùn raèng: Nhöng ngöôi coøn thieáu moät ñieàu. Haõy ñi, baùn heát gia taøi mình, ñem thí cho keû ngheøo khoå, chaéc seõ ñöôïc cuûa baùu ôû treân trôøi, roài haõy ñeán maø theo ta.

10:22 And he was sad at that saying, (o. logos) and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

10:22 Song neùt maët ngöôøi naày raàu ró veà lôøi ñoù, ñi ra raát buoàn baõ, vì coù nhieàu cuûa laém.

10:23 And Jesus looked round about, and says unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

10:23 Baáy giôø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ngoù xung quanh mình, maø phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Keû giaøu vaøo nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoù laø döôøng naøo!

10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. (o. logos) But Jesus answers again, and says unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

10:24 Moân ñoà laáy maáy lôøi ñoù laøm laï. Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi phaùn raèng: Hôõi caùc con, nhöõng keû caäy söï giaøu coù vaøo nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoù laø döôøng naøo!

10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

10:25 Con laïc ñaø chui qua loã kim coøn deã hôn ngöôøi giaøu vaøo nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

10:26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

10:26 Moân ñoà laïi caøng laáy laøm laï, noùi cuøng nhau raèng: Vaäy thì ai ñöôïc cöùu?

10:27 And Jesus looking upon them says, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

10:27 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ngoù moân ñoà maø raèng: Söï ñoù loaøi ngöôøi khoâng theå laøm ñöôïc, nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thì chaúng theá; vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm moïi söï ñöôïc caû.

10:28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed you.

10:28 Phi -e-rô lieàn thöa cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Naày, chuùng toâi ñaõ boû heát maø ñi theo thaày.

10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

10:29 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi chaúng moät ngöôøi naøo vì ta vaø Tin Laønh töø boû nhaø cöûa, anh em, chò em, cha meï, con caùi, ñaát ruoäng,

10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

10:31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

10:31 Nhöng coù nhieàu keû ñaàu seõ neân roát; coù keû roát seõ neân ñaàu.

10:32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,

10:32 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaø moân ñoà ñöông ñi ñöôøng leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, Ngaøi thì ñi tröôùc; caùc moân ñoà thaát kinh, vaø nhöõng ngöôøi ñi theo ñeàu sôï haõi. Ngaøi laïi keøm möôøi hai söù ñoà ñi cuøng mình maø phaùn veà nhöõng vieäc phaûi xaûy ñeán cho mình, raèng:

10:33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:

10:33 Naày, chuùng ta leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, Con ngöôøi seõ bò noäp cho caùc thaày teá leã caû cuøng caùc thaày thoâng giaùo; hoï seõ ñònh Ngaøi phaûi bò töû hình vaø giao Ngaøi cho daân ngoaïi.

10:34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.

10:34 Ngöôøi ta seõ nhaïo baùng Ngaøi, nhoå treân Ngaøi, ñaùnh ñaäp Ngaøi maø gieát ñi; sau ba ngaøy, Ngaøi seõ soáng laïi.

10:35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that you should do for us whatsoever we shall desire.

10:35 Baáy giôø, Gia-cô vaø Giaêng, hai con trai Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ, ñeán gaàn Ngaøi maø thöa raèng: Laïy thaày, chuùng toâi muoán thaày laøm thaønh ñieàu chuùng toâi seõ xin.

10:36 And he said unto them, What would all of you that I should do for you?

10:36 Ngaøi hoûi raèng: Caùc ngöôi muoán ta laøm chi cho?

10:37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on your right hand, and the other on your left hand, in your glory.

10:37 Thöa raèng: Khi thaày ñöôïc vinh hieån, xin cho chuùng toâi moät ñöùa ngoài beân höõu, moät ñöùa beân taû.

10:38 But Jesus said unto them, All of you know not what all of you ask: can all of you drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

10:38 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi khoâng bieát ñieàu mình xin. Caùc ngöôi coù uoáng ñöôïc cheùn ta uoáng, vaø chòu ñöôïc pheùp baùp-tem ta chòu chaêng?

10:39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, All of you shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized likewise shall all of you be baptized:

10:39 Thöa raèng: Ñöôïc. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi seõ uoáng cheùn ta uoáng, vaø seõ chòu pheùp baùp-tem ta chòu;

10:40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

10:40 nhöng chí nhö ngoài beân höõu vaø beân taû ta thì khoâng phaûi töï ta cho ñöôïc: aáy laø thuoäc veà ngöôøi naøo maø ñieàu ñoù ñaõ daønh cho.

10:41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.

10:41 Möôøi söù ñoà kia nghe söï xin ñoù, thì giaän Gia-cô vaø Giaêng.

10:42 But Jesus called them to him, and says unto them, All of you know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.

10:42 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus goïi hoï maø phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi bieát nhöõng ngöôøi ñöôïc toân laøm ñaàu cai trò caùc daân ngoaïi, thì baét daân phaûi phuïc mình, coøn caùc quan lôùn thì laáy quyeàn theá trò daân.

10:43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:

10:43 Song trong caùc ngöôi khoâng nhö vaäy; traùi laïi heã ai muoán laøm lôùn trong caùc ngöôi, thì seõ laøm ñaày tôù;

10:44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

10:44 coøn ai trong caùc ngöôi muoán laøm ñaàu, thì seõ laøm toâi moïi moïi ngöôøi.

10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

10:45 Vì Con ngöôøi ñaõ ñeán khoâng phaûi ñeå ngöôøi ta haàu vieäc mình, song ñeå haàu vieäc ngöôøi ta, vaø phoù söï soáng mình laøm giaù chuoäc cho nhieàu ngöôøi.

10:46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.

10:46 Keá ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø moân ñoà ñeán thaønh Gieâ-ri-coâ. Ngaøi vaø moân ñoà cuøng moät ñoaøn daân ñoâng ñang töø ñoù laïi ñi, thì coù moät ngöôøi aên maøy muø teân laø Ba-ti-meâ, con trai cuûa Ti-meâ, ngoài beân ñöôøng.

10:47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me.

10:47 Vì ñaõ nghe noùi aáy laø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, ngöôøi Na-xa-reùt, ngöôøi vuøng la leân maø raèng: Hôõi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, con vua Ña-vít, xin thöông toâi cuøng!

10:48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, You son of David, have mercy on me.

10:48 Coù nhieàu keû raày ngöôøi, bieåu nín ñi; song ngöôøi laïi keâu lôùn hôn nöõa raèng: Hôõi con vua Ña-vít, xin thöông toâi cuøng!

10:49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calls you.

10:49 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus döøng laïi, phaùn raèng: Haõy keâu ngöôøi ñeán. Chuùng keâu ngöôøi muø ñeán, maø noùi raèng: Haõy vöõng loøng, ñöùng daäy, Ngaøi goïi ngöôi.

10:50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

10:50 Ngöôøi muø boû aùo ngoaøi, böôùc tôùi ñeán cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

10:51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What will you that I should do unto you? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

10:51 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Ngöôi muoán ta laøm chi cho ngöôi? Ngöôøi muø thöa raèng: Laïy thaày, xin cho toâi ñöôïc saùng maét.

10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go your way; your faith has made you whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

10:52 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn: Ñi ñi, ñöùc tin ngöôi ñaõ chöõa laønh ngöôi roài. (10-53) Töùc thì ngöôøi muø ñöôïc saùng maét, vaø ñi theo Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus treân ñöôøng.

11:1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sends forth two of his disciples,

11:1 Khi tôùi gaàn thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, beân laøng Beâ-pha-gieâ vaø laøng Beâ-tha-ni, ngang nuùi oâ-li-ve, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus sai hai moân ñoà ñi,

11:2 And says unto them, Go your way into the village opposite to you: and as soon as all of you be entered into it, all of you shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

11:2 vaø phaùn raèng: Haõy ñi ñeán laøng ngay tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi; vöøa khi vaøo ñoù, thaáy moät con löøa con ñöông buoäc, chöa coù ai côõi; haõy môû noù ra, daét veà cho ta.

11:3 And if any man say unto you, Why do all of you this? say all of you that the Lord has need of him; and immediately he will send him here.

11:3 Hoaëc coù ai hoûi caùc ngöôi raèng: Vì sao laøm ñieàu ñoù? haõy ñaùp laïi: Chuùa caàn duøng noù, töùc thì hoï seõ cho daét löøa veà ñaây.

11:4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

11:4 Hai ngöôøi ñi, thì thaáy löøa con ñöông buoäc ôû ngoaøi tröôùc cöûa, choã ñöôøng queïo, beøn môû ra.

11:5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do all of you, loosing the colt?

11:5 Coù maáy keû trong nhöõng ngöôøi ôû ñoù hoûi raèng: Caùc ngöôi môû löøa con ñoù laøm chi?

11:6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

11:6 Hai ngöôøi traû lôøi theo Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ daën; thì hoï ñeå cho ñi.

11:7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

11:7 Hai ngöôøi daét löøa con veà cho Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, laáy aùo mình traûi treân noù; roài Ngaøi côõi leân.

11:8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and scattered them in the way.

11:8 Nhieàu ngöôøi traûi aùo mình treân ñaøng; laïi coù keû raûi nhaùnh caây chaët trong ñoàng ruoäng.

11:9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord:

11:9 Ngöôøi ñi tröôùc keû theo sau ñeàu la leân raèng: Hoâ-sa-na! Ñaùng khen ngôïi cho Ñaáng nhôn danh Chuùa maø ñeán!

11:10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that comes in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

11:10 Phöôùc cho nöôùc ñeán, laø nöôùc vua Ña-vít, toå phuï chuùng ta! Hoâ-sa-na ôû treân nôi raát cao!

11:11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the evening was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

11:11 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ñeán nôi ñeàn thôø; ñoaïn, lieác maét xem moïi söï chung quanh, thì trôøi ñaõ toái, Ngaøi beøn ra, ñaëng ñi tôùi laøng Beâ-tha-ni vôùi möôøi hai söù ñoà.

11:12 And on the next day, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

11:12 Saùng ngaøy, khi ñaõ lìa laøng Beâ-tha-ni roài, thì Ngaøi ñoùi.

11:13 And seeing a fig tree far off having leaves, he came, if lest by any means he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

11:13 Vöøa thaáy ñaøng xa moät caây vaû coù laù, Ngaøi ñeán ñoù xem hoaëc coù chi chaêng; song, tôùi gaàn roài, chæ thaáy coù laù maø thoâi, vì baáy giôø khoâng phaûi muøa vaû.

11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of you hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

11:14 Ngaøi beøn caát tieáng phaùn cuøng caây vaû raèng: Chaúng heà coù ai aên traùi cuûa maày nöõa! Caùc moân ñoà ñeàu nghe lôøi aáy.

11:15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

11:15 Ñoaïn, ñeán thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo ñeàn thôø, ñuoåi nhöõng keû buoân baùn ôû ñoù, laïi laät ñoå baøn nhöõng ngöôøi ñoåi baïc, vaø gheá nhöõng keû baùn boø caâu.

11:16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

11:16 Ngaøi caám khoâng cho ai ñöôïc ñem ñoà gì ñi ngang qua ñeàn thôø.

11:17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but all of you have made it a den of thieves.

11:17 Roài Ngaøi daïy doã chuùng maø raèng: haù chaúng coù lôøi cheùp: Nhaø ta seõ goïi laø nhaø caàu nguyeän cuûa muoân daân hay sao? Nhöng caùc ngöôi ñaõ laøm thaønh caùi hang troäm cöôùp.

11:18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

11:18 Caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo nghe maáy lôøi, beøn kieám caùch dieät Ngaøi; vì hoï sôï Ngaøi, taïi caû ñoaøn daân caûm ñoäng söï daïy doã cuûa Ngaøi laém.

11:19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.

11:19 Ñeán chieàu, Ngaøi vaø moân ñoà ra khoûi thaønh.

11:20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

11:20 Saùng hoâm sau, khi ñi ngang qua, thaáy caây vaû ñaõ khoâ cho tôùi reã;

11:21 And Peter calling to remembrance says unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which you cursed is withered away.

11:21 baáy giôø Phi -e-rô nhôù laïi chuyeän ñaõ qua, thöa cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Thaày, coi kìa! Caây vaû thaày ñaõ ruûa nay khoâ ñi roài.

11:22 And Jesus answering says unto them, Have faith in God.

11:22 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Haõy coù ñöùc tin ñeán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.

11:23 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ai seõ bieåu hoøn nuùi naày raèng: Phaûi caát mình leân, vaø quaêng xuoáng bieån, neáu ngöôøi chaúng nghi ngaïi trong loøng, nhöng tin chaéc lôøi mình noùi seõ öùng nghieäm, thì ñieàu ñoù seõ thaønh cho.

11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things whatsoever all of you desire, when all of you pray, believe that all of you receive them, and all of you shall have them.

11:24 Bôûi vaäy ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi: Moïi ñieàu caùc ngöôi xin trong luùc caàu nguyeän, haõy tin ñaõ ñöôïc, taát ñieàu ñoù seõ ban cho caùc ngöôi.

11:25 And when all of you stand praying, forgive, if all of you have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

11:25 Khi caùc ngöôi ñöùng caàu nguyeän, neáu coù söï gì baát bình cuøng ai, thì haõy tha thöù, ñeå Cha caùc ngöôi ôû treân trôøi cuõng tha loãi cho caùc ngöôi.

11:26 But if all of you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

11:26 Song neáu khoâng tha loãi cho ngöôøi ta, thì Cha caùc ngöôi ôû treân trôøi cuõng seõ khoâng tha loãi cho caùc ngöôi.

11:27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,

11:27 Chuùa vaø moân ñoà trôû laïi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem. Ngaøi ñang ñi daïo trong ñeàn thôø, thì caùc thaày teá leã caû, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo, vaø caùc tröôûng laõo tôùi gaàn Ngaøi,

11:28 And say unto him, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority to do these things?

11:28 maø hoûi raèng: Thaày laáy quyeàn pheùp naøo laøm nhöõng ñieàu naày, hoaëc ai ñaõ cho thaày quyeàn pheùp laøm nhöõng ñieàu aáy?

11:29 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, (o. logos) and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

11:29 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Ta cuõng hoûi caùc ngöôi moät caâu; haõy traû lôøi cho ta, thì ta seõ noùi cho caùc ngöôi bieát ta laøm nhöõng ñieàu ñoù bôûi quyeàn pheùp naøo.

11:30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

11:30 Pheùp baùp-tem cuûa Giaêng ñeán bôûi treân trôøi hay laø bôûi ngöôøi ta? Haõy traû lôøi cho ta ñi.

11:31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did all of you not believe him?

11:31 Vaû, hoï baøn vôùi nhau nhö vaày: Neáu chuùng ta noùi: Bôûi treân trôøi, thì ngöôøi seõ noùi raèng: Vaäy, sao caùc ngöôi khoâng tin lôøi Giaêng?

11:32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

11:32 Baèng chuùng ta noùi traùi laïi: Bôûi ngöôøi ta? Hoï sôï daân chuùng, vì ai naáy ñeàu tin Giaêng thaät laø Ñaáng tieân tri.

11:33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering says unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

11:33 Neân hoï thöa laïi cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Chuùng toâi khoâng bieát. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Ta cuõng khoâng noùi cho caùc ngöôi bieát ta nhôø quyeàn pheùp naøo maø laøm nhöõng ñieàu naày.

12:1 And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and dug a place for the winepress, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

12:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khôûi phaùn thí duï cuøng hoï raèng: Moät ngöôøi kia troàng vöôøn nho, raøo chung quanh, ôû trong ñaøo moät caùi haàm eùp röôïu, vaø döïng moät caùi thaùp; ñoaïn cho maáy ngöôøi laøm ngheà troàng nho thueâ, maø lìa boån xöù.

12:2 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

12:2 Tôùi muøa, chuû vöôøn sai moät ñaày tôù ñeán cuøng boïn troàng nho, ñaëng thaâu laáy phaàn hoa lôïi vöôøn nho nôi tay hoï.

12:3 And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

12:3 Nhöng hoï baét ñaày tôù maø ñaùnh roài ñuoåi veà tay khoâng.

12:4 And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.

12:4 Ngöôøi sai moät ñaày tôù khaùc ñeán; nhöng hoï ñaùnh ñaàu noù vaø chöôûi ruûa nöõa.

12:5 And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

12:5 Ngöôøi coøn sai ñöùa khaùc ñeán, thì hoï gieát ñi; laïi sai nhieàu ñöùa khaùc nöõa, ñöùa thì bò hoï ñaùnh, ñöùa thì bò hoï gieát.

12:6 Having yet therefore one son, his beloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

12:6 Chuû vöôøn coøn ñöùa con trai moät raát yeâu daáu, beøn sai ñi laàn cuoái cuøng maø noùi raèng: Chuùng noù seõ kính vì con ta!

12:7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be our's.

12:7 Nhöng boïn troàng nho ñoù baøn vôùi nhau raèng: Thaèng naày laø con keá töï; heø, ta haõy gieát noù, thì phaàn gia taøi noù seõ veà chuùng ta.

12:8 And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

12:8 Hoï baét con trai aáy gieát ñi, neùm ra ngoaøi vöôøn nho.

12:9 What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

12:9 Vaäy thì chuû vöôøn nho seõ laøm theá naøo? Ngöôøi seõ ñeán gieát boïn troàng nho ñoù, roài laáy vöôøn nho laïi maø cho ngöôøi khaùc.

12:10 And have all of you not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

12:10 Caùc ngöôøi haù chöa ñoïc lôøi Kinh Thaùnh naày: Hoøn ñaù bò thôï xaây nhaø boû ra, Ñaõ trôû neân ñaù goùc nhaø;

12:11 This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

12:11 Aáy laø coâng vieäc cuûa Chuùa, Vaø laø vieäc raát laï tröôùc maét chuùng ta, hay sao?

12:12 And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

12:12 Nhöõng ngöôøi ñoù beøn tìm caùch baét Ngaøi, vì bieát roõ raèng Ngaøi phaùn thí duï aáy chæ veà mình; song sôï daân chuùng, neân boû Ngaøi maø ñi.

12:13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. (o. logos)

12:13 Keá ñoù, hoï sai maáy ngöôøi thuoäc veà phe Pha-ri-si vaø ñaûng Heâ-roát ñeán, ñeå baét loãi Ngaøi trong lôøi noùi.

12:14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that you are true, and care for no man: for you regard not the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

12:14 Vaäy, maáy ngöôøi aáy ñeán, thöa Ngaøi raèng: Laïy thaày, chuùng toâi bieát thaày laø ngöôøi thaät, khoâng lo sôï gì ai; vì thaày khoâng xem beà ngoaøi ngöôøi ta, nhöng daïy ñaïo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi theo moïi leõ thaät. Coù neân noäp thueá cho Seâ-sa hay khoâng? Chuùng toâi phaûi noäp hay laø khoâng noäp?

12:15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt all of you me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.

12:15 Nhöng Ngaøi bieát söï giaû hình cuûa hoï thì phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi thöû ta laøm chi? Haõy ñem cho ta xem moät ñoàng ñô-ni-eâ.

12:16 And they brought it. And he says unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.

12:16 Hoï ñem cho Ngaøi moät ñoàng, Ngaøi beøn phaùn raèng: Hình vaø hieäu naày cuûa ai? Hoï traû lôøi raèng: Cuûa Seâ-sa.

12:17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

12:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Vaät chi cuûa Seâ-sa haõy traû laïi cho Seâ-sa, coøn vaät chi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haõy traû laïi cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Hoï ñeàu laáy laøm laï veà Ngaøi.

12:18 Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,

12:18 Caùc ngöôøi Sa-ñu-seâ, laø nhöõng keû vaãn noùi raèng khoâng coù söï soáng laïi, ñeán gaàn maø hoûi Ngaøi raèng:

12:19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

12:19 Thöa thaày, Moâi-se ñaõ ban cho chuùng toâi luaät naày: Neáu moät ngöôøi kia coù anh em qua ñôøi, ñeå vôï laïi, khoâng con, thì ngöôøi kia phaûi laáy vôï goùa ñoù ñaëng noái doøng doõi cho anh em mình.

12:20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.

12:20 Vaû, coù baûy anh em. Ngöôøi thöù nhöùt cöôùi vôï, roài cheát, khoâng coù con.

12:21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.

12:21 Ngöôøi thöù hai laáy vôï goùa aáy, sau cheát, cuõng khoâng coù con; roài ñeán ngöôøi thöù ba cuõng vaäy.

12:22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.

12:22 Trong baûy ngöôøi, chaúng ai ñeå con laïi. Sau heát, ngöôøi ñôøn baø cuõng cheát.

12:23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.

12:23 Luùc soáng laïi, ñôøn baø ñoù laø vôï ai trong baûy anh em? vì heát thaûy ñeàu ñaõ laáy ngöôøi laøm vôï.

12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do all of you not therefore go astray, because all of you know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

12:24 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Haù chaúng phaûi caùc ngöôi laàm, vì khoâng bieát Kinh Thaùnh, cuõng khoâng hieåu quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi sao?

12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

12:25 Vì ñeán luùc ngöôøi ta töø keû cheát soáng laïi, thì chaúng cöôùi vôï, chaúng laáy choàng; nhöng caùc ngöôøi soáng laïi ñoù ôû nhö thieân söù treân trôøi vaäy.

12:26 And as concerning the dead, that they rise: have all of you not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spoke unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

12:26 Coøn veà nhöõng ngöôøi cheát ñöôïc soáng laïi, thì trong saùch Moâi-se coù cheùp lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi trong buïi gai raèng: Ta laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-saùc, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Gia-coáp, caùc ngöôi haù chöa ñoïc ñeán sao?

12:27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: all of you therefore do greatly go astray.

12:27 Ngaøi chaúng phaûi laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa keû cheát, maø laø cuûa keû soáng! Thaät caùc ngöôi laàm to.

12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

12:28 Baáy giôø, coù moät thaày thoâng giaùo nghe Chuùa vaø ngöôøi Sa-ñu-seâ bieän luaän vôùi nhau, bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ kheùo ñaùp, beøn ñeán gaàn hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Trong caùc ñieàu raên, ñieàu naøo laø ñaàu heát?

12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

12:29 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Naày laø ñieàu ñaàu nhöùt: Hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, haõy nghe, Chuùa, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta, laø Chuùa coù moät.

12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.

12:30 Ngöôi phaûi heát loøng, heát linh hoàn, heát trí khoân, heát söùc maø kính meán Chuùa laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi.

12:31 And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

12:31 Naày laø ñieàu thöù hai: Ngöôi phaûi yeâu keû laân caän nhö mình. Chaúng coù ñieàu raên naøo lôùn hôn hai ñieàu ñoù.

12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, you have said the truth: for there is one God; and there is no other but he:

12:32 Thaày thoâng giaùo traû lôøi raèng: Thöa thaày, thaày noùi phaûi, hieäp lyù laém, thaät Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø coù moät, ngoaøi Ngaøi chaúng coù Chuùa naøo khaùc nöõa;

12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

12:33 thaät phaûi kính meán Chuùa heát loøng, heát trí, heát söùc vaø yeâu keû laân caän nhö mình, aáy laø hôn moïi cuûa leã thieâu cuøng heát thaûy caùc cuûa leã.

12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

12:34 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy ngöôøi traû lôøi nhö ngöôøi khoân, thì phaùn raèng: Ngöôi chaúng caùch xa nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaâu. Roài khoâng ai daùm hoûi Ngaøi nöõa.

12:35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?

12:35 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông daïy doã trong ñeàn thôø, beøn caát tieáng phaùn nhöõng lôøi naày: Sao caùc thaày thoâng giaùo Ñaáng Christ laø con Ña-vít?

12:36 For David himself said by the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) The LORD said to my Lord, Sit you on my right hand, till I make yours enemies your footstool.

12:36 Chính Ña-vít ñaõ caûm Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh maø noùi raèng: Chuùa phaùn cuøng Chuùa toâi; Haõy ngoài beân höõu ta, Cho ñeán chöøng naøo ta ñeå keû thuø nghòch ngöôi laøm beä döôùi chôn ngöôi.

12:37 David therefore himself calls him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

12:37 Vì chính Ña-vít xöng Ngaøi baèng Chuùa, thì leõ naøo Ngaøi laø con vua aáy? Ñoaøn daân ñoâng vui loøng maø nghe Ngaøi.

12:38 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

12:38 Trong luùc daïy doã, Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Haõy giöõ mình veà caùc thaày thoâng giaùo, laø keû öa maëc aùo daøi ñi chôi, thích ngöôøi ta chaøo mình giöõa chôï

12:39 And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:

12:39 muoán ngoâi cao nhöùt trong caùc nhaø hoäi cuøng trong caùc ñaùm tieäc,

12:40 Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

12:40 nuoát caùc nhaø ñôøn baø goùa, maø laøm boä ñoïc lôøi caàu nguyeän daøi. Hoï seõ bò phaït caøng naëng hôn nöõa.

12:41 And Jesus sat opposite to the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

12:41 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ngoài ñoái ngang caùi röông ñöïng tieàn daâng, coi daân chuùng boû tieàn vaøo theå naøo.

12:42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.

12:42 Coù laém ngöôøi giaøu boû nhieàu tieàn; cuõng coù moät muï goùa ngheøo kia ñeán boû hai ñoàng tieàn aên moät phaàn tö xu.

12:43 And he called unto him his disciples, and says unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow has cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

12:43 Ngaøi beøn keâu moân ñoà maø phaùn raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, muï goùa ngheøo naày ñaõ boû tieàn vaøo röông nhieàu hôn heát thaûy nhöõng ngöôøi ñaõ boû vaøo.

12:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her lack did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

12:44 Vì moïi keû khaùc laáy cuûa dö mình boû vaøo, coøn muï naày ngheøo cöïc laém, ñaõ boû heát cuûa mình coù, laø heát cuûa coù ñeå nuoâi mình.

13:1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples says unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

13:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vöøa ra khoûi ñeàn thôø, coù moät ngöôøi moân ñoà thöa cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Thöa thaày, haõy xem ñaù vaø caùc nhaø naày laø döôøng naøo!

13:2 And Jesus answering said unto him, See you these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

13:2 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ngöôi thaáy caùc nhaø lôùn naày ö? Roài ra seõ khoâng coøn moät hoøn ñaù soùt laïi treân moät hoøn khaùc nöõa; caû thaûy ñeàu ñoå xuoáng.

13:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives opposite to the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

13:3 Ngaøi ñöông ngoài treân nuùi oâ-li-ve, ñoái ngang ñeàn thôø, thì Phi -e-rô, Gia-cô, Giaêng vaø Anh-reâ hoûi rieâng Ngaøi raèng:

13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

13:4 Xin thaày noùi cho chuùng toâi bieát luùc naøo caùc ñieàu ñoù xaûy ñeán, vaø coù ñieàm chi cho ngöôøi ta bieát caùc söï ñoù seõ hoaøn thaønh?

13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

13:5 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khôûi phaùn raèng: Haõy giöõ mình keûo coù ai löøa doái caùc ngöôi chaêng.

13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

13:6 Coù nhieàu keû seõ laáy danh ta maø ñeán, xöng raèng: Chính ta laø Ñaáng Christ! Hoï seõ doã daønh nhieàu ngöôøi.

13:7 And when all of you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be all of you not troubled: for such things must essentially be; but the end shall not be yet.

13:7 Khi caùc ngöôi nghe noùi veà giaëc vaø nghe tieáng ñoàn veà giaëc, thì ñöøng boái roái: nhöõng söï aáy phaûi xaûy ñeán; nhöng chöa laø cuoái cuøng.

13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

13:8 Vì daân naày seõ daáy leân nghòch cuøng daân khaùc, nöôùc noï nghòch cuøng nöôùc kia; cuõng seõ coù ñoäng ñaát nhieàu nôi, vaø ñoùi keùm. Ñoù chæ laø ñaàu söï khoán khoå maø thoâi.

13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues all of you shall be beaten: and all of you shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

13:9 Coøn caùc ngöôi, phaûi giöõ mình; hoï seõ noäp caùc ngöôi tröôùc toøa aùn; caùc ngöôi seõ bò ñaùnh trong caùc nhaø hoäi, vaø vì côù ta, seõ ñöùng tröôùc maët caùc quan toång ñoác vaø caùc vua, ñeå laøm chöùng tröôùc maët hoï.

13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

13:10 Nhöng tröôùc heát Tin Laønh phaûi ñöôïc giaûng ra cho khaép muoân daân ñaõ.

13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what all of you shall speak, neither do all of you premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak all of you: for it is not all of you that speak, but the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

13:11 Vaû, khi hoï ñieäu caùc ngöôi ñi noäp, chôù coù ngaïi tröôùc veà ñieàu mình seõ noùi, nhöng ñeán giôø ñoù, haõy noùi theo lôøi seõ ban cho; vì aáy khoâng phaûi caùc ngöôi noùi, beøn laø Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh vaäy.

13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

13:12 Baáy giôø, anh seõ noäp em cho phaûi cheát, cha seõ noäp con; con caùi seõ daáy leân nghòch cuøng cha meï mình maø laøm cho phaûi cheát.

13:13 And all of you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

13:13 Caùc ngöôi seõ bò moïi ngöôøi ghen gheùt vì danh ta; song ai cöù beàn loøng ñeán cuoái cuøng, ngöôøi aáy seõ ñöôïc cöùu.

13:14 But when all of you shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

13:14 Khi caùc ngöôi seõ xem thaáy söï taøn naùt gôùm ghieác laäp ra nôi khoâng neân laäp (ai ñoïc phaûi ñeå yù), baáy giôø nhöõng keû ôû trong xöù Giu-ñeâ haõy troán leân nuùi;

13:15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

13:15 ai ôû treân maùi nhaø chôù xuoáng, vaø chôù vaøo trong nhaø maø chuyeân baát luaän vaät gì;

13:16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again in order to take up his garment.

13:16 ai ôû ngoaøi ñoàng chôù trôû veà laáy aùo xoáng mình.

13:17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

13:17 Trong nhöõng ngaøy ñoù, khoán cho ñôøn baø coù thai cuøng ñôøn baø cho con buù!

13:18 And pray all of you that your flight be not in the winter.

13:18 Haõy caàu nguyeän cho ñieàu ñoù chôù xaûy ra luùc muøa ñoâng.

13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

13:19 Vì trong nhöõng ngaøy aáy coù taïi naïn, ñeán noãi töø ban ñaàu Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi döïng neân trôøi ñaát cho ñeán baây giôø chöa heà coù nhö vaäy, vaø veà sau cuõng seõ chaúng heà coù nöõa.

13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he has chosen, he has shortened the days.

13:20 Neáu Chuùa chaúng giaûm bôùt caùc ngaøy aáy, thì khoâng coù sanh vaät naøo ñöôïc cöùu; song vì côù nhöõng keû Ngaøi ñaõ choïn, neân Ngaøi ñaõ giaûm bôùt caùc ngaøy aáy.

13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

13:21 Khi aáy, daàu coù ai baûo caùc ngöôi raèng: Kìa, Ñaáng Christ ôû ñaây, hay laø Ngaøi ôû ñoù, thì chôù tin.

13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

13:22 Nhöõng christ giaû, tieân tri giaû seõ noåi leân, laøm nhöõng daáu laï pheùp laï, neáu coù theå ñöôïc thì hoï cuõng doã daønh chính nhöõng ngöôøi ñöôïc choïn.

13:23 But take all of you heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

13:23 Haõy giöõ laáy, ta ñaõ noùi tröôùc cho caùc ngöôi caû.

13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

13:24 Trong nhöõng ngaøy aáy, sau kyø taïi naïn, maët trôøi seõ toái taêm, maët traêng chaúng chieáu saùng nöõa,

13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

13:25 caùc ngoâi sao seõ töï treân trôøi rôùt xuoáng, vaø theá löïc caùc töøng trôøi seõ ruùng ñoäng.

13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

13:26 Baáy giôø ngöôøi ta seõ thaáy Con ngöôøi laáy ñaïi quyeàn ñaïi vinh ngöï ñeán treân ñaùm maây;

13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

13:27 Ngaøi seõ sai caùc thieân söù ñaëng nhoùm nhöõng keû ñöôïc choïn ôû boán phöông, töø ñaàu cuøng ñaát cho ñeán ñaàu cuøng trôøi.

13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, all of you know that summer is near:

13:28 Haõy nghe lôøi thí duï veà caây vaû. Vöøa khi nhaùnh noù trôû neân non vaø nöùt loäc, thì bieát muøa haï gaàn tôùi.

13:29 So all of you in like manner, when all of you shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

13:29 Cuõng moät leõ aáy, khi caùc ngöôi thaáy caùc ñieàu ñoù xaûy ñeán, haõy bieát Con ngöôøi ñaõ tôùi gaàn, ôû nôi cöûa.

13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

13:30 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, doøng doõi naày chaúng qua tröôùc khi moïi söï kia xaûy tôùi.

13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words (o. logos) shall not pass away.

13:31 Trôøi ñaát seõ qua ñi, song lôøi ta khoâng bao giôø qua ñaâu.

13:32 But of that day and that hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

13:32 veà ngaøy vaø giôø ñoù, chaúng ai bieát chi heát, caùc thieân söù treân trôøi, hay laø Con cuõng chaúng bieát nöõa; song chæ Cha maø thoâi.

13:33 Take all of you heed, watch and pray: for all of you know not when the time is.

13:33 Haõy giöõ mình, tænh thöùc; vì caùc ngöôi chaúng bieát kyø ñoù ñeán khi naøo.

13:34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the gate keeper to watch.

13:34 Aáy cuõng nhö moät ngöôøi kia ñi ñöôøng xa, boû nhaø, giao cho ñaày tôù moãi ñöùa cai quaûn moät vieäc, vaø cuõng bieåu ñöùa canh cöûa thöùc canh.

13:35 Watch all of you therefore: for all of you know not when the master of the house comes, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

13:35 Vaäy, caùc ngöôi haõy thöùc canh, vì khoâng bieát chuû nhaø veà luùc naøo, hoaëc chieàu toái, nöûa ñeâm, luùc gaø gaùy, hay laø sôùm mai,

13:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

13:36 e cho ngöôøi veà thình lình, gaëp caùc ngöôi nguû chaêng.

13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

13:37 Ñieàu maø ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ta cuõng noùi cho moïi ngöôøi: Haõy tænh thöùc!

14:1 After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

14:2 Vì hoï noùi raèng: Chaúng neân laøm vieäc naày trong naøy leã, sôï sanh söï xoân xao trong daân chuùng.

14:3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at food, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

14:4 Coù vaøi ngöôøi noåi giaän noùi cuøng nhau raèng: Sao xaøi phí daàu thôm aáy nhö vaäy?

14:5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

14:5 Vì coù theå baùn daàu ñoù ñöôïc hôn ba traêm ñô-ni-eâ, maø boá thí cho keû khoù khaên. Vaäy, hoï oaùn traùch ngöôøi.

14:6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble all of you her? she has wrought a good work on me.

14:6 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy ñeå maëc ngöôøi; sao caùc ngöôi laøm raày ngöôøi maø chi? Ngöôøi ñaõ laøm moät vieäc toát cho ta.

14:7 For all of you have the poor with you always, and whenever all of you will all of you may do them good: but me all of you have not always.

14:7 Vì caùc ngöôi haèng coù keû khoù khaên ôû cuøng mình, khi naøo muoán laøm phöôùc cho hoï cuõng ñöôïc; nhöng caùc ngöôi chaúng coù ta ôû luoân vôùi ñaâu.

14:8 Ngöôøi ñaõ laøm ñieàu mình coù theå laøm ñöôïc, ñaõ xöùc xaùc cho ta tröôùc ñeå choân.

14:9 Verily I say unto you, Where ever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she has done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

14:10 And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.

14:10 Baáy giôø, Giu-ña Ích-ca-ri-oát laø moät trong möôøi hai söù ñoà, ñeán nôi caùc thaày teá leã caû, ñeå noäp Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cho.

14:11 And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

14:11 hoï vui loøng maø nghe vaø höùa cho noù tieàn baïc; roài Giu-ña tìm dòp tieän ñeå noäp Ngaøi.

14:12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where will you that we go and prepare that you may eat the passover?

14:12 Ngaøy thöù nhöùt veà leã aên baùnh khoâng men, laø ngaøy gieát chieân con laøm leã Vöôït Qua, caùc moân ñoà thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Thaày muoán chuùng toâi ñi doïn cho thaày aên leã Vöôït Qua taïi ñaâu?

14:13 And he sends forth two of his disciples, and says unto them, Go all of you into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

14:13 Ngaøi sai hai moân ñoà ñi, vaø daën raèng: Haõy vaøo thaønh, seõ gaëp moät ngöôøi xaùch voø nöôùc; cöù theo sau,

14:14 And where ever he shall go in, say all of you to the goodman of the house, The Master says, Where is the guest room, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

14:14 heã ngöôøi vaøo nhaø naøo, caùc ngöôi seõ noùi cuøng chuû nhaø aáy raèng: Thaày phaùn: Caùi phoøng ta seõ duøng aên leã Vöôït Qua vôùi moân ñoà ta ôû ñaâu?

14:15 And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.

14:15 Chính keû ñoù seõ chæ cho caùc ngöôi moät caùi phoøng lôùn treân laàu coù ñoà ñaïc saün saøng, haõy doïn taïi ñoù cho chuùng ta.

14:16 And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

14:16 Vaäy, hai moân ñoà ñi ra maø vaøo thaønh, gaëp moïi ñieàu nhö lôøi Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn, roài doïn leã Vöôït Qua.

14:17 And in the evening he comes with the twelve.

14:17 Buoåi chieàu, Ngaøi ñeán vôùi möôøi hai söù ñoà.

14:18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eats with me shall betray me.

14:18 Ñang ngoài aên, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, trong voøng caùc ngöôi coù moät keû ngoài aên cuøng ta, seõ phaûn ta.

14:19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?

14:19 Caùc moân ñoà beøn buoàn raàu laém, cöù laàn löôït maø thöa cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Coù phaûi toâi chaêng?

14:20 And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dips with me in the dish.

14:20 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Aáy laø moät trong möôøi hai ngöôøi, laø ngöôøi thoø tay vaøo maâm cuøng ta.

14:21 The Son of man indeed goes, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

14:21 Vì Con ngöôøi ñi, y nhö lôøi ñaõ cheùp veà Ngaøi; song khoán cho keû phaûn Con ngöôøi! Thaø noù chaúng sanh ra thì hôn.

14:22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

14:22 Khi ñang aên, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laáy baùnh, taï ôn, ñoaïn beû ra trao cho caùc moân ñoà, maø phaùn raèng: Haõy laáy, naày laø thaân theå ta.

14:23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

14:23 Ngaøi laïi caàm cheùn, taï ôn, roài trao cho caùc moân ñoà, vaø ai naáy ñeàu uoáng.

14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

14:24 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Naày laø huyeát ta, huyeát cuûa söï giao öôùc ñoå ra cho nhieàu ngöôøi.

14:25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

14:25 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ta khoâng uoáng traùi nho naày nöõa, cho ñeán ngaøy ta seõ uoáng traùi nho môùi trong nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

14:26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

14:26 Khi ñaõ haùt thô thaùnh roài, Chuùa vaø moân ñoà ñi ra ñaëng leân nuùi oâ-li-ve.

14:27 And Jesus says unto them, All you shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

14:27 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Heát thaûy caùc ngöôi seõ gaëp dòp vaáp phaïm; vì coù cheùp raèng: Ta seõ ñaùnh keû chaên chieân, thì baày chieân seõ tan laïc.

14:28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

14:28 Nhöng khi ta soáng laïi roài, ta seõ ñi ñeán xöù Ga-li-leâ tröôùc caùc ngöôi.

14:29 But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

14:29 Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Daàu noùi ngöôøi vaáp phaïm vì côù thaày, nhöng toâi chaúng heà laøm vaäy.

14:30 And Jesus says unto him, Verily I say unto you, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, you shall deny me three times.

14:30 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng ngöôi, hoâm nay, cuõng trong ñeâm nay, tröôùc khi gaø gaùy hai löôït, ngöôi seõ choái ta ba laàn.

14:31 But he spoke the more vehemently, If I should die with you, I will not deny you in any way. Likewise also said they all.

14:31 Nhöng Phi -e-rô laïi thöa caùch quaû quyeát hôn raèng: Daàu toâi phaûi cheát cuøng thaày, toâi cuõng chaúng choái thaày ñaâu. Heát thaûy caùc moân ñoà khaùc cuõng ñeàu noùi nhö vaäy.

14:32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he says to his disciples, Sit all of you here, while I shall pray.

14:32 Keá ñoù, ñi ñeán moät nôi kia, goïi laø Gheát-seâ-ma-neâ, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Caùc ngöôi haõy ngoài ñaây, ñôïi ta caàu nguyeän.

14:33 And he takes with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

14:33 Ngaøi beøn ñem Phi -e-rô, Gia-cô vaø Giaêng ñi, thì Ngaøi khôûi söï kinh haõi vaø saàu naõo.

14:34 And says unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry all of you here, and watch.

14:34 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng ba ngöôøi raèng: Linh-hoàn ta buoàn raàu laém cho ñeán cheát; caùc ngöôi haõy ôû ñaây, vaø tænh thöùc.

14:35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

14:35 Roài Ngaøi ñi moät ñoãi xa hôn, saáp mình xuoáng ñaát maø caàu nguyeän raèng: neáu coù theå ñöôïc, xin giôø naày qua khoûi mình.

14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto you; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what you will.

14:36 Ngaøi raèng: A-ba laïy Cha, moïi vieäc Cha laøm ñöôïc caû; xin Cha caát cheùn naày khoûi con; nhöng khoâng theo ñieàu con muoán, maø theo ñieàu Cha muoán.

14:37 And he comes, and finds them sleeping, and says unto Peter, Simon, sleep you? could not you watch one hour?

14:37 Roài Ngaøi trôû laïi, thaáy ba ngöôøi nguû; beøn phaùn cuøng Phi -e-rô raèng: Si-moân, nguû ö! Ngöôi khoâng thöùc ñöôïc moät giôø sao?

14:38 Watch all of you and pray, lest all of you enter into temptation. The spirit (o. pneuma) truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

14:38 Haõy tænh thöùc vaø caàu nguyeän, ñeå caùc ngöôi khoûi sa vaøo chöôùc caùm doã; taâm thaàn thì muoán laém, maø xaùc thòt thì yeáu ñuoái.

14:39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spoke the same words. (o. logos)

14:39 Ngaøi laïi ñi laàn nöõa, vaø caàu nguyeän, y nhö lôøi tröôùc.

14:40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither know they what to answer him.

14:40 Ngaøi trôû laïi, thaáy moân ñoà coøn nguû, vì con maét ñaõ ñöø quaù; vaø khoâng bieát traû lôøi cuøng Ngaøi theå naøo.

14:41 And he comes the third time, and says unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour has come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

14:41 Ngaøi trôû laïi laàn thöù ba, phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Baây giôø caùc ngöôi nguû vaø nghæ ngôi ö! thoâi, giôø ñaõ tôùi roài; naày, Con ngöôøi haàu bò noäp trong tay keû coù toäi.

14:42 Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrays me is at hand.

14:42 Haõy chôø daäy, ñi heø; kìa, ñöùa phaûn ta ñaõ ñeán gaàn.

14:43 And immediately, while he yet spoke, comes Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

14:43 Ngaøi ñöông coøn phaùn, töùc thì Giu-ña, laø moät trong möôøi hai söù ñoà thoaït ñeán vôùi moät toaùn ñoâng caàm göôm vaø gaäy, bôûi caùc thaày teá leã caû, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo, vaø caùc tröôûng laõo phaùi ñeán.

14:44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

14:44 Vaø, ñöùa phaûn Ngaøi ñaõ cho chuùng daáu hieäu naày: Heã toâi hoân ai, aáy laø ngöôøi ñoù; haõy baét laáy vaø ñieäu ñi cho caån thaän.

14:45 And as soon as he was come, he goes immediately to him, and says, Master, master; and kissed him.

14:45 Vaäy, khi Giu-ña ñeán roài, lieàn laïi gaàn Ngaøi maø noùi raèng: Laïy thaày! Roài noù hoân Ngaøi.

14:46 And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

14:46 Chuùng beøn tra tay baét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

14:47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and stroke a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

14:47 Coù moät ngöôøi trong nhöõng keû ôû ñoù ruùt göôm ra, ñaùnh moät ñöùa ñaày tôù cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, cheùm ñöùt tai ñi.

14:48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are all of you come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?

14:48 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caát tieáng phaùn cuøng chuùng raèng: Caùc ngöôi ñem göôm vaø gaäy ñeán baét ta nhö ta laø keû troäm cöôùp.

14:49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and all of you took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

14:49 Ta haèng ngaøy ôû giöõa caùc ngöôi, giaûng daïy trong ñeàn thôø, maø caùc ngöôi khoâng baét ta; nhöng ñieàu aáy xaûy ñeán, ñeå lôøi Kinh Thaùnh ñöôïc öùng nghieäm.

14:50 And they all forsook him, and fled.

14:50 Baáy giôø, moïi ngöôøi ñeàu boû Ngaøi vaø troán ñi caû.

14:51 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

14:51 Coù moät ngöôøi treû tuoåi kia theo Ngaøi, chæ coù caùi khaên baèng gai truøm mình; chuùng baét ngöôøi.

14:52 And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

14:52 Nhöng ngöôøi boû khaên laïi, ôû truoàng chaïy troán khoûi tay chuùng.

14:53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

14:53 Chuùng ñieäu Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán nôi thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, coù heát thaûy thaày teá leã caû, tröôûng laõo, vaø thaày thoâng giaùo nhoùm hoïp taïi ñoù.

14:54 And Peter followed him far off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

14:54 Phi -e-rô theo sau Ngaøi xa xa, cho ñeán nôi saân trong cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm; roài ngoài vôùi quaân lính gaàn ñoáng löûa maø söôûi.

14:55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.

14:55 Vaû, caùc thaày teá leã caû, cuøng caû toøa coâng luaän ñeàu tìm chöùng gì ñeå nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaëng gieát Ngaøi, song khoâng kieám ñöôïc chi heát.

14:56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

14:56 Vì coù nhieàu keû laøm chöùng doái nghòch cuøng Ngaøi; nhöng lôøi hoï khai chaúng hieäp nhau.

14:57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

14:57 Baáy giôø coù maáy ngöôøi ñöùng leân laøm chöùng doái nghòch cuøng Ngaøi raèng:

14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

14:58 Chuùng toâi coù nghe ngöôøi noùi: Ta seõ phaù ñeàn thôø naày bôûi tay ngöôøi ta caát leân, khoûi ba ngaøy, ta seõ caát moät ñeàn thôø khaùc khoâng phaûi bôûi tay ngöôøi ta caát.

14:59 But neither so did their witness agree together.

14:59 Song veà ñieàu naày, lôøi chöùng cuûa hoï cuõng chaúng hieäp nhau nöõa.

14:60 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answer you nothing? what is it which these witness against you?

14:60 Khi aáy, thaày caû thöôïng phaåm ñöùng daäy giöõa hoäi ñoàng, tra hoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø raèng: Ngöôi chaúng ñoái ñaùp chi heát veà nhöõng ñieàu caùc keû naày caùo ngöôøi sao?

14:61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

14:61 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laøm thinh, khoâng traû lôøi chi heát. Thaày caû thöôïng phaåm laïi hoûi: Aáy chính ngöôi laø Ñaáng Christ, Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaùng ngôïi khen phaûi khoâng?

14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and all of you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

14:62 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Ta chính phaûi ñoù; caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy Con ngöôøi ngoài beân höõu quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø ngöï giöõa ñaùm maây treân trôøi maø ñeán.

14:63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and says, What need we any further witnesses?

14:63 Baáy giôø thaày caû thöôïng phaåm xeù aùo mình ra maø raèng: Chuùng ta coù caàn kieám chöùng côù khaùc nöõa laøm chi?

14:64 All of you have heard the blasphemy: what think all of you? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

14:64 Caùc ngöôi coù nghe lôøi loäng ngoân chaêng? Caùc ngöôi nghó theá naøo: Ai naáy ñeàu ñoaùn Ngaøi ñaùng cheát.

14:65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

14:65 Coù keû nhoå treân Ngaøi, ñaäy maët Ngaøi laïi, ñaám Ngaøi, vaø noùi vôùi Ngaøi raèng: Haõy noùi tieân tri ñi! Caùc lính canh laáy gaäy ñaùnh Ngaøi.

14:66 And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there comes one of the maids of the high priest:

14:66 Phi -e-rô ñöông ôû döôùi nôi saân, coù moät ñaày tôù gaùi cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm ñeán,

14:67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And you also were with Jesus of Nazareth.

14:67 thaáy Phi -e-rô ñöông söôûi, ngoù ngöôøi maø raèng: ngöôi tröôùc cuõng ôû vôùi Jeâsus Na-xa-reùt!

14:68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what you says. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.

14:68 Nhöng ngöôøi choái raèng: Ta khoâng bieát, ta khoâng hieåu ngöôi noùi chi. Ñoaïn, ngöôøi böôùc ra tieàn ñaøng, thì gaø gaùy.

14:69 And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

14:69 Ñaày tôù gaùi ñoù thaày ngöôøi, laïi noùi cuøng nhöõng ngöôøi ôû ñoù raèng: Ngöôøi naày cuõng laø boïn ñoù.

14:70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely you are one of them: for you are a Galilaean, and your speech agrees thereto.

14:70 Nhöng ngöôøi laïi choái moät laàn nöõa. Khoûi moät chaëp, nhöõng keû ñöùng ñoù noùi cuøng Phi -e-rô raèng: Chaéc thaät, ngöôi cuõng laø boïn ñoù, vì ngöôi laø ngöôøi Ga-li-leâ.

14:71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom all of you speak.

14:71 Ngöôøi beøn ruûa maø theà raèng: Ta chaúng heà quen bieát vôùi ngöôøi maø caùc ngöôi noùi ñoù!

14:72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word (o. rhema) that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, you shall deny me three times. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

14:72 Töùc thì gaø gaùy laàn thöù hai; Phi -e-rô beøn nhôù laïi lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ phaùn raèng: Tröôùc khi gaø gaùy hai löôït, ngöôi seõ choái ta ba laàn. Ngöôøi töôûng ñeán thì khoùc.

 Mac - Mark

15:1 And immediately in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

15:1 Vöøa luùc ban mai, caùc thaày teá leã caû baøn luaän vôùi caùc tröôûng laõo, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo cuøng caû toøa coâng luaän; khi ñaõ troùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus roài, thì giaûi noäp cho Phi-laùt.

15:2 And Pilate asked him, Are you the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto them, You says it.

15:2 Phi-laùt hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Aáy chính ngöôi laø Vua daân Giu-ña phaûi khoâng? Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Thaät nhö lôøi.

15:3 And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.

15:3 Caùc thaày teá leã caû caùo Ngaøi nhieàu ñieàu.

15:4 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answer you nothing? behold how many things they witness against you.

15:4 Phi-laùt laïi tra gaïn Ngaøi, maø raèng: Ngöôi chaúng ñoái ñaùp chi heát sao? Haõy coi hoï caùo toäi ngöôi bieát bao nhieâu!

15:5 But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.

15:5 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus chaúng traû lôøi chi nöõa, neân moãi Phi-laùt laáy laøm laï.

15:6 Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.

15:6 Vaû, heã ñeán ngaøy leã Vöôït Qua, quan voán quen thoùi tha cho daân moät teân tuø, tuøy theo daân xin.

15:7 And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

15:7 Baáy giôø coù moät ñöùa teân laø Ba-ra-ba bò tuø vôùi keû laøm loaïn, vì trong khi noåi loaïn, chuùng noù phaïm toäi gieát ngöôøi.

15:8 And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.

15:8 Ñoaøn daân ñaõ leân, beøn xin Phi-laùt laøm cho mình theo nhö leä thöôøng.

15:9 But Pilate answered them, saying, Will all of you that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

15:9 Phi-laùt traû lôøi raèng: Caùc ngöôi muoán ta tha Vua daân Giu-ña cho chaêng?

15:10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.

15:10 Vì ngöôøi bieát roõ caùc thaày teá leã caû ñaõ noäp Ngaøi bôûi loøng ghen gheùt.

15:11 But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.

15:11 Nhöng caùc thaày teá leã caû xui daân xin ngöôøi tha teân Ba-ra-ba cho mình thì hôn.

15:12 And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will all of you then that I shall do unto him whom all of you call the King of the Jews?

15:12 Phi-laùt laïi caát tieáng hoûi raèng: Vaäy thì caùc ngöôi muoán ta duøng caùch naøo xöû ngöôøi maø caùc ngöôi goïi laø Vua daân Giu-ña?

15:13 And they cried out again, Crucify him.

15:13 Chuùng laïi keâu leân raèng: Haõy ñoùng ñinh noù vaøo thaäp töï giaù!

15:14 Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil has he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

15:14 Phi-laùt noùi cuøng chuùng raèng: Song ngöôøi naày ñaõ laøm ñieàu aùc gì? Chuùng laïi keâu lôùn tieáng hôn raèng: Haõy ñoùng ñinh noù vaøo thaäp töï giaù!

15:15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

15:15 Phi-laùt muoán cho ñeïp loøng daân, beøn tha teân Ba-ra-ba; vaø sai ñaùnh ñoøn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, roài giao Ngaøi cho chuùng ñem ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï.

15:16 And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.

15:16 Lính ñieäu Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo saân trong, töùc laø trong choã tröôøng aùn; vaø nhoùm caû cô binh laïi ñoù.

15:17 And they clothed him with purple, and intertwined a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,

15:17 Hoï choaøng cho Ngaøi moät caùi aùo ñieàu, vaø ñoäi treân ñaàu Ngaøi moät caùi maõo baèng gai hoï ñaõ ñöông,

15:18 And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!

15:18 roài chaøo Ngaøi raèng: Kính laïy Vua daân Giu-ña!

15:19 And they stroke him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.

 Mac - Mark

16:1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

16:1 Ngaøy Sa-baùt qua roài, Ma-ri ma-ñô-len, Ma-ri meï Gia-cô, cuøng Sa-loâ-meâ mua thuoác thôm ñaëng ñi xöùc xaùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

16:2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the tomb at the rising of the sun.

16:2 Ngaøy thöù nhöùt trong tuaàn leã, saùng sôùm, maët trôøi môùi moïc, ba ngöôøi ñeán nôi moä,

16:3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?

16:3 noùi cuøng nhau raèng: Ai seõ laên hoøn ñaù laáp cöûa moä ra cho chuùng ta?

16:4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

16:4 Khi ngoù xem, thaáy hoøn ñaù ñaõ laên ra roài; vaû, hoøn ñaù lôùn laém.

16:5 And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

16:5 Ñoaïn, hoï vaøo nôi moä, thaáy moät ngöôøi treû tuoåi ngoài beân höõu, maëc aùo daøi traéng, thì thaát kinh.

16:6 And he says unto them, Be not affrighted: All of you seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he has risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

16:6 Song ngöôøi noùi cuøng hoï raèng: Ñöøng sôï chi, caùc ngöôi tìm Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Na-xa-reùt, laø Ñaáng ñaõ chòu ñoùng ñinh; Ngaøi soáng laïi roài, chaúng coøn ôû ñaây; haõy xem nôi ñaõ taùng xaùc Ngaøi.

16:7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goes before you into Galilee: there shall all of you see him, as he said unto you.

16:7 Nhöng haõy ñi noùi cho caùc moân ñoà Ngaøi vaø cho Phi -e-rô raèng: Ngaøi ñi ñeán xöù Ga-li-leâ tröôùc caùc ngöôi; caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy Ngaøi taïi ñoù, nhö Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi vaäy.

16:8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the tomb; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

16:9 Vaû, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ soáng laïi buoåi sôùm mai ngaøy thöù nhöùt trong tuaàn leã, thì tröôùc heát hieän ra cho Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len, laø ngöôøi maø Ngaøi ñaõ tröø cho khoûi baûy quæ döõ.

16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at food, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

16:14 Sau nöõa, Ngaøi hieän ra cho möôøi moät söù ñoà ñang khi ngoài aên, maø quôû traùch veà söï khoâng tin vaø loøng cöùng coûi, vì chaúng tin nhöõng keû töøng thaáy Ngaøi ñaõ soáng laïi.

16:15 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng caùc söù ñoà raèng: Haõy ñi khaép theá gian, giaûng Tin Laønh cho moïi ngöôøi.

16:16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned.

16:16 Ai tin vaø chòu pheùp baùp-tem, seõ ñöôïc roãi; nhöng ai chaúng tin, seõ bò ñoaùn phaït.

16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
