12:14 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaùp cuøng Moâi-se raèng: Neáu cha naøng nhoå treân maët naøng, naøng haù khoâng mang hoå trong baûy ngaøy sao? Naøng phaûi caàm rieâng ngoaøi traïi quaân trong baûy ngaøy, roài sau seõ ñöôïc nhaän vaøo laïi.

13:32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eats up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

13:32 Tröôùc maët daân Y-sô-ra-eân, caùc ngöôøi ñoù phao phaûn xöù mình ñaõ do thaùm maø raèng: Xöù maø chuùng toâi ñaõ ñi khaép ñaëng do thaùm, laø moät xöù nuoát daân söï mình; heát thaûy nhöõng ngöôøi chuùng toâi ñaõ thaáy taïi ñoù, ñeàu laø keû hình voùc cao lôùn.

14:2 Heát thaûy daân Y-sô-ra-eân laèm baèm cuøng Moâi-se vaø A-roân; caû hoäi chuùng noùi cuøng hai ngöôøi raèng: Chôù chi chuùng toâi ñaõ cheát trong xöù EÂ-díp-toâ, hay laø ñaõ cheát trong ñoàng vaéng naày!

14:3 And wherefore has the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

14:3 Vì côù naøo Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va daãn chuùng toâi vaøo xöù naày ñaëng bò göôm maø ngaõ? Vôï vaø con nhoû chuùng toâi seõ bò laøm moät mieáng moài. Veà phaàn chuùng toâi, haù chaúng khaù trôû veà xöù EÂ-díp-toâ hôn sao?

14:11 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng Moâi-se raèng: Daân naày khinh ta vaø khoâng tin ta cho ñeán chöøng naøo, maëc daàu caùc pheùp laï ta laøm giöõa chuùng noù?

14:14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

14:14 vaø coù thuaät ñieàu ñoù cho daân xöù naày. Oâi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va! ngöôøi ta bieát raèng Chuùa ngöï giöõa daân naày, Chuùa hieän ra cho maét chuùng thaáy, truï maây Chuùa ôû treân daân naày, vaø Chuùa ñi tröôùc, ban ngaøy trong moät truï maây, ban ñeâm trong moät truï löûa.

14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

14:41 And Moses said, Wherefore now do all of you transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.

14:41 Song Moâi-se noùi raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi traùi maïng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va? Söï ñoù seõ chaúng may maén ñaâu.

14:42 Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that all of you be not smitten before your enemies.

16:8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, all of you sons of Levi:

16:8 Moâi-se noùi cuøng Coâ-reâ raèng: Hôõi con chaùu Leâ-vi, baây giôø haõy nghe.

16:9 Seems it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?

16:9 Veà phaàn caùc ngöôi, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân ñaõ bieät caùc ngöôi rieâng ra vôùi hoäi chuùng Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø khieán caùc ngöôi ñeán gaàn Ngaøi ñaëng laøm coâng vieäc trong ñeàn taïm cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, ñaëng chöïc haàu vieäc tröôùc maët hoäi chuùng, vieäc aáy haù laø nhoû moïn sao?

16:11 Vì vaäy, ngöôi vaø toaøn beø ñaûng cuûa ngöôi ñeàu hieäp laïi nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va! Vì A-roân laø ai maø caùc ngöôi laèm baèm cuøng ngöôøi?

16:12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:

16:12 Moâi-se sai ñoøi Ña-than vaø A-bi-ram, con trai EÂ-li-aùp; nhöng hai ngöôøi ñaùp raèng: Chuùng toâi khoâng ñi leân ñaâu.

16:13 Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land that flows with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except you make yourself altogether a prince over us?

16:13 Haù laø ñieàu nhoû moïn maø ngöôi ñaõ ñem chuùng ta ra khoûi xöù ñöôïm söõa vaø maät, ñaëng laøm cho chuùng ta cheát trong ñoàng vaéng, maø ngöôi laïi coøn muoán laán löôùt treân chuùng ta nöõa sao?

16:14 Quaû thaät, ngöôi khoâng coù daãn chuùng ta ñeán trong moät xöù ñöôïm söõa vaø maät ñaâu, ngöôi khoâng cho chuùng ta ñoàng ruoäng hay laø vöôøn nho laøm saûn nghieäp ñaâu! Ngöôi toan khoeùt maét cuûa daân naày ö? Chuùng ta khoâng ñi leân ñaâu.

16:15 And Moses was very angry, and said unto the LORD, Respect not you their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

16:15 Moâi-se noåi giaän laém, thöa cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va raèng: Xin ñöøng keå ñeán cuûa leã chay chuùng noù nöõa; toâi khoâng coù baét nôi chuùng noù moät con löøa naøo, vaø toâi cuõng khoâng coù laøm haïi moät ai trong boïn chuùng noù.

16:16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be you and all your company before the LORD, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow:

16:18 Vaäy, moãi ngöôøi laáy lö höông mình ñeå löûa vaøo, boû höông treân, roài ñöùng taïi cöûa hoäi maïc luoân vôùi Moâi-se vaø A-roân.

16:19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.

16:19 Coâ-reâ hieäp caû hoäi chuùng nghòch laïi Moâi-se vaø A-roân taïi cöûa hoäi maïc; söï vinh quang cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va hieän ra cuøng caû hoäi chuùng.

16:20 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

16:20 Ñoaïn, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng Moâi-se vaø A-roân raèng:

16:21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

16:21 Haõy taùch khoûi giöõa hoäi chuùng naày, thì ta seõ tieâu dieät noù trong moät laùt.

16:22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?

16:22 Hai ngöôøi beøn saáp maët xuoáng maø raèng: Oâi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Chuùa cuûa thaàn linh moïi xaùc thòt! chæ coù moät ngöôøi phaïm toäi maø Chuùa laïi noåi giaän cuøng caû hoäi chuùng sao?

16:23 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

16:23 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng Moâi-se raèng:

16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

16:24 Haõy noùi cuøng hoäi chuùng maø raèng: Haõy dan ra khoûi chung quanh choã ôû cuûa Coâ-reâ, Ña-than, vaø A-bi-ram.

16:25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

16:25 Moâi-se ñöùng daäy, ñi laïi phía Ña-than vaø A-bi-ram; caùc tröôûng laõo Y-sô-ra-eân ñi theo ngöôøi.

16:26 And he spoke unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest all of you be consumed in all their sins.

16:26 Ngöôøi noùi cuøng hoäi chuùng raèng: Baây giôø, haõy dan ra khoûi traïi cuûa caùc ngöôøi hung aùc naày, vaø chôù ñuïng ñeán vaät chi thuoäc veà hoï, e caùc ngöôi seõ cheát vì nhöõng toäi cuûa hoï chaêng.

16:27 So they got up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

16:27 Vaäy, daân söï dan ra khoûi töù phía choã ôû cuûa Coâ-reâ, Ña-than, vaø A-bi-ram. Ña-than vaø A-bi-ram ra ñöùng taïi cöûa traïi vôùi vôï, con trai vaø con nít mình.

16:28 And Moses said, Hereby all of you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

16:28 Moâi-se beøn noùi raèng: Nhôø ñieàu naày caùc ngöôi seõ bieát raèng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù sai ta ñaëng laøm caùc ñieàu naày, vaø ta chaúng laøm söï chi töï ta.

16:37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter you the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.

16:39 And Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:

16:40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

20:8 Take the rod, and gather you the assembly together, you, and Aaron your brother, and speak all of you unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and you shall bring forth to them water out of the rock: so you shall give the congregation and their beasts drink.

20:8 Haõy caàm laáy caây gaäy ngöôi, roài vôùi A-roân anh ngöôi, haõy truyeàn nhoùm hoäi chuùng, vaø hai ngöôi phaûi noùi cuøng hoøn ñaù tröôùc maët hoäi chuùng, thì hoøn ñaù seõ chaûy nöôùc ra; ngöôi seõ khieán nöôùc töø hoøn ñaù chaûy ra cho hoäi chuùng vaø suùc vaät cuûa hoï uoáng.

20:9 And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.

20:9 Vaäy, Moâi-se caàm laáy caây gaäy ôû tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, nhö Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn daën.

20:10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, all of you rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

20:10 Moâi-se vaø A-roân truyeàn nhoùm hoäi chuùng ñeán tröôùc hoøn ñaù maø noùi raèng: Hôõi daân phaûn nghòch! haõy nghe, chuùng ta haù deã khieán nöôùc chaûy töø hoøn ñaù naày ra cho caùc ngöôi ñöôïc sao?

20:11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he stroke the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

20:11 Moâi-se giô tay leân, ñaäp hoøn ñaù hai laàn baèng caây gaäy mình. Nöôùc beøn chaûy traøn ra nhieàu, hoäi chuùng uoáng, vaø suùc vaät hoï uoáng nöõa.

20:12 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron, Because all of you believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore all of you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

20:12 Ñoaïn, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng Moâi-se vaø A-roân raèng: Bôûi vì hai ngöôi khoâng coù tin ñeán ta, ñaëng toân ta neân thaùnh tröôùc maët daân Y-sô-ra-eân, vì côù ñoù, hai ngöôi seõ khoâng ñem hoäi chuùng naày vaøo xöù maø ta ñaõ cho noù ñaâu.

20:13 This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.

20:13 Aáy ñoù laø nöôùc cuûa Meâ-ri-ba, töùc laø nôi daân Y-sô-ra-eân caõi-traõ cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; Ngaøi töï neân thaùnh tröôùc maët daân ñoù.

20:14 And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus says your brother Israel, You know all the travail that has befallen us:

20:14 Ñoaïn, töø Ca-ñe, Moâi-se sai söù giaû ñi ñeán vua EÂ-ñoâm ñaëng noùi raèng: Y-sô-ra-eân, laø em vua, coù noùi nhö vaày: Vua bieát caùc söï tai naïn ñaõ xaûy ñeán cho chuùng toâi,

20:15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers:

20:15 vaø toå phuï chuùng toâi ñi xuoáng xöù EÂ-díp-toâ laø laøm sao? Chuùng toâi ñaõ ôû laâu taïi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ, nhöng daân xöù ñoù baïc ñaõi chuùng toâi vaø toå phuï chuùng toâi.

20:16 And when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and has brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of your border:

20:16 Chuùng toâi coù keâu la cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; Ngaøi coù nghe thaáu tieáng keâu, beøn sai moät thieân söù daãn chuùng toâi ra khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ. Naày, chuùng toâi hieän ôû taïi Ca-ñe, laø thaønh ôû nôi ñaàu bôø coõi cuûa vua.

20:17 Let us pass, I pray you, through your country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed your borders.

20:17 Xin cho pheùp chuùng toâi ñi ngang qua xöù cuûa vua; chuùng toâi seõ chaúng ñi ngang qua ñoàng ruoäng, seõ chaúng ñi ngang vöôøn nho, vaø chuùng toâi cuõng seõ chaúng uoáng nöôùc caùc gieáng; chuùng toâi seõ ñi theo ñöôøng caùi cuûa vua, khoâng xaây qua beân höõu, cuõng khoâng xaây qua beân taû cho ñeán chöøng naøo ñaõ ñi ngang khoûi bôø coõi cuûa vua.

20:18 And Edom said unto him, You shall not pass by me, lest I come out against you with the sword.

20:18 Nhöng EÂ-ñoâm ñaùp raèng: Ngöôi chôù khaù ñi ngang ranh ta; baèng cöôïng, ta seõ caàm göôm ra ñoùn ngöôi.

20:19 And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of your water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing anything else, go through on my feet.

20:19 Daân Y-sô-ra-eân taâu raèng: Chuùng toâi ñi theo ñöôøng caùi; neáu chuùng toâi vaø baày suùc vaät chuùng toâi uoáng nöôùc cuûa vua, thì chuùng toâi seõ traû tieàn. Xin chæ ñeå ñi boä ngang qua, khoâng chi khaùc nöõa.

20:20 And he said, You shall not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand.

20:20 Nhöng EÂ-ñoâm ñaùp raèng: Ngöôi chaúng ñöôïc qua ñaâu! EÂ-ñoâm beøn ñem quaân chuùng raát ñoâng, tay caàm binh khí, ra ñoùn Y-sô-ra-eân.

20:21 Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him.

20:21 Aáy vaäy, EÂ-ñoâm khoâng cho pheùp Y-sô-ra-eân ñi ngang bôø coõi mình; Y-sô-ra-eân trôû ñi khoûi ngöôøi.

20:22 And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor.

20:22 Caû hoäi daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñi töø Ca-ñe ñeán nuùi Hoâ-rô.

20:23 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying,

20:24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because all of you rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

20:24 A-roân seõ veà nôi toå phuï mình, vì ngöôøi khoâng ñöôïc vaøo xöù maø ta ñaõ ban cho daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñaâu; bôûi vì taïi nöôùc Meâ-ri-ba, caùc ngöôi ñaõ boäi nghòch ñieàu raên ta.

20:25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:

20:25 Haõy baét A-roân vaø EÂ-leâ -a-sa, con trai ngöôøi, bieåu ñi leân nuùi Hoâ-rô;

20:26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there.

20:26 ñoaïn haõy loät aùo xoáng A-roân maëc cho EÂ-leâ -a-sa, con trai ngöôøi. Aáy taïi ñoù A-roân seõ ñöôïc tieáp veà vaø qua ñôøi.

20:27 And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.

20:27 Vaäy, Moâi-se laøm y nhö Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn daën; ba ngöôøi ñi leân nuùi Hoâ-rô, caû hoäi chuùng ñeàu thaáy.

20:28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

20:29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.

20:29 Caû hoäi chuùng thaáy A-roân ñaõ taét hôi roài, beøn khoùc ngöôøi trong ba möôi ngaøy.

21:1 And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.

21:1 Khi vua A-raùt, ngöôøi Ca-na-an, ôû nôi Nam phöông, hay raèng Y-sô-ra-eân theo ñöôøng do thaùm ñi ñeán, beøn haõm ñaùnh Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø baét maáy ngöôøi caàm tuø.

21:2 Y-sô-ra-eân beøn höùa nguyeän cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va raèng: Neáu Chuùa phoù daân naày vaøo tay toâi, taát toâi seõ dieät caùc thaønh cuûa noù.

21:3 And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

21:3 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nhaäm lôøi daân Y-sô-ra-eân vaø phoù daân Ca-na-an cho. Ngöôøi ta dieät heát daân ñoù vaø caùc thaønh cuûa noù, ñaët teân choã naày laø Hoït-ma.

21:4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

21:4 Ñoaïn, daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñi töø nuùi Hoâ-rô veà höôùng Bieån ñoû, ñaëng ñi voøng theo xöù EÂ-ñoâm; giöõa ñöôøng daân söï ngaõ loøng.

21:5 And the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have all of you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loathes this light bread.

21:5 Vaäy, daân söï noùi nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaø Moâi-se maø raèng: Laøm sao ngöôøi khieán chuùng toâi leân khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ ñaëng cheát trong ñoàng vaéng? Vì ñaây khoâng coù baùnh, cuõng khoâng coù nöôùc, vaø linh hoàn chuùng toâi ñaõ gheâ gôùm thöù ñoà aên ñaïm baïc naày.

21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against you; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

21:7 Daân söï beøn ñeán cuøng Moâi-se maø noùi raèng: Chuùng toâi coù phaïm toäi, vì ñaõ noùi nghòch Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø ngöôøi. Haõy caàu xin Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñeå Ngaøi khieán raén lìa xa chuùng toâi. Moâi-se caàu khaån cho daân söï.

21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make you a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live.

21:8 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng Moâi-se raèng: Haõy laøm laáy moät con raén löûa, roài treo noù treân moät caây saøo. Neáu ai bò caén vaø nhìn noù, thì seõ ñöôïc soáng.

21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

21:9 Vaäy, Moâi-se laøm moät con raén baèng ñoàng, roài treo leân moät caây saøo; neáu ngöôøi naøo ñaõ bò raén caén maø nhìn con raén baèng ñoàng, thì ñöôïc soáng.

21:10 And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.

21:10 Keá ñoù, daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñi vaø ñoùng traïi taïi OÂ-boát.

21:11 And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.

21:11 Ñoaïn, ñi töø OÂ-boát vaø ñoùng traïi taïi Y-gieâ -A-ba-rim, taïi ñoàng vaéng, ñoái ngang Moâ-aùp veà höôùng maët trôøi moïc.

21:12 From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.

21:12 Hoï ñi töø ñoù ñoùng traïi taïi ñeøo Xeâ-reát.

21:13 From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that comes out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

21:13 Roài töï ñoù ñi vaø ñoùng traïi phía beân kia Aït-noân, ôû trong ñoàng vaéng, vöøa ra bôø coõi daân A-moâ-rít; vì Aït-noân laø giaùp-ranh cuûa daân Moâ-aùp vaø daân A-moâ-rít.

21:14 Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,

21:14 Bôûi côù ñoù, trong saùch chieán traän cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù noùi raèng: Va-heùp ôû taïi Su-pha, vaø truõng Aït-noân,

21:15 And at the stream of the brooks that goes down to the dwelling of Ar, and lies upon the border of Moab.

21:15 cuøng nhöõng trieàn truõng chaïy xuoáng phía A-rô, vaø ñuïng ranh Moâ-aùp.

21:16 And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spoke unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.

21:16 Töø ñoù daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñeán Beâ-re, aáy ñoù laø caùi gieáng maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn cuøng Moâi-se raèng: Haõy nhoùm hieäp daân söï, ta seõ cho chuùng noù nöôùc.

21:17 Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing all of you unto it:

21:17 Y-sô-ra-eân beøn haùt baøi naày: Hôõi gieáng, haõy tuoân leân! haõy ca haùt cho noù!

21:18 The princes dug the well, the nobles of the people dug it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:

21:18 Gieáng maø caùc vua chuùa ñaõ khai, Caùc töôùc vò cuûa daân söï ñaõ ñaøo Vôùi phuû vieät cuøng caây gaäy mình!

21:19 And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:

21:19 Keá ñoù, töø ñoàng vaéng daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñeán Ma-tha-na; roài töø Ma-tha-na ñeán Na-ha-li-eân; töø Na-ha-li-eân ñeán Ba-moát;

21:20 And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looks toward Jeshimon.

21:21 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

21:21 Vaû, Y-sô-ra-eân sai söù giaû ñeán Si-hoân, vua daân A-moâ-rít, ñaëng noùi raèng:

21:22 Let me pass through your land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past your borders.

21:22 Xin cho pheùp chuùng toâi ñi ngang qua xöù vua, chuùng toâi seõ khoâng xaây vaøo ñoàng ruoäng, hay laø vaøo vöôøn nho, vaø chuùng toâi cuõng seõ khoâng uoáng nöôùc caùc gieáng, cöù ñi ñöôøng caùi cuûa vua cho ñeán chöøng naøo qua khoûi bôø coõi vua.

21:23 And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

21:23 Nhöng Si-hoân khoâng cho pheùp Y-sô-ra-eân ñi ngang qua bôø coõi mình, beøn hieäp heát daân söï mình ñi ra ñoùn Y-sô-ra-eân veà höôùng ñoàng vaéng; ngöôøi ñeán Gia-haùt, chieán traän cuøng Y-sô-ra-eân.

21:24 And Israel stroke him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.

21:24 Song Y-sô-ra-eân duøng löôõi göôm ñaùnh baïi ngöôøi, vaø chieám xöù ngöôøi töø Aït-noân ñeán Gia-boác, ñeán daân Am-moân; vì bôø coõi daân Am-moân beàn vöõng.

21:25 And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.

21:25 Y-sô-ra-eân chieám heát caùc thaønh naày, vaø ôû trong caùc thaønh daân A-moâ-rít, laø ôû taïi Heát-boân vaø trong caùc thaønh ñòa-haït.

21:26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.

21:26 Vì Heát-boân laø thaønh cuûa Si-hoân, vua daân A-moâ-rít, laø vua ñaõ giao chieán cuøng vua tröôùc cuûa Moâ-aùp, chieám laáy khaép heát xöù ngöôøi ñeán Aït-noân.

21:27 Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:

21:27 Bôûi côù ñoù, nhöõng nhaø vaên só noùi raèng: Haõy ñeán Heát-boân! Thaønh Si-hoân phaûi xaây caát vaø laäp vöõng!

21:28 For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it has consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.

21:28 Vì coù moät ñaùm löûa bôûi thaønh Heát-boân, Moät ngoïn löûa bôûi thaønh Si-hoân maø ra; Noù thieâu ñoát A-rô cuûa Moâ-aùp, Caùc chuùa cuûa nôi cao Aït-noân

21:29 Woe to you, Moab! you are undone, O people of Chemosh: he has given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.

21:29 Hôõi Moâ-aùp, khoán thay cho ngöôi! Hôõi daân Keâ-moùc, ngöôi ñaõ dieät maát! Ngöôøi ñaõ noäp con trai mình laøm keû troán traùnh, Vaø con gaùi mình laøm phu tuø cho Si-hoân, vua A-moâ-rít.

21:30 We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reachs unto Medeba.

21:30 Chuùng ta ñaõ baén teân nhaèm chuùng noù. Heát-boân ñaõ bò huûy dieät cho ñeán Ñi-boân. Chuùng ta ñaõ laøm taøn haïi ñeán Noâ-phaùch, Löûa ñaõ lan ñeán Meâ-ñeâ-ba.

21:31 Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.

21:31 Vaäy, Y-sô-ra-eân ôû trong xöù daân A-moâ-rít.

21:32 And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.

21:32 Moâi-se sai ñi do thaùm Gia-eâ-xe, chieám caùc thaønh boån haït vaø ñuoåi daân A-moâ-rít ôû taïi ñoù.

21:33 And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.

21:33 Ñoaïn, daân Y-sô-ra-eân trôû laïi ñi leân veà höôùng Ba-san, Oùc, vua Ba-san, vaø caû daân söï ngöôøi ñi ra ñoùn ñaëng chieán traän taïi Eát-reâ -i.

21:34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into your hand, and all his people, and his land; and you shall do to him as you did unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

21:34 Nhöng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng Moâi-se raèng: Ñöøng sôï ngöôøi, vì ta ñaõ phoù ngöôøi, luoân daân söï vaø xöù ngöôøi vaøo tay ngöôi; ngöôi khaù laøm cho ngöôøi nhö ñaõ laøm cho Si-hoân, vua daân A-moâ-rít ôû taïi Heát-boân.

21:35 So they stroke him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.

21:35 Vaäy, daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñaùnh baïi Oùc, caùc con trai ngöôøi vaø caû daân söï ngöôøi, cho ñeán chöøng khoâng coøn ngöôøi naøo ôû laïi; daân Y-sô-ra-eân chieám laáy xöù ngöôøi vaäy.
