Na hum - Nahum

1:1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.

1:1 Gaùnh naëng cuûa Ni-ni-ve. Saùch söï hieän thaáy cuûa Na-hum, ngöôøi Eân-coát.

1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.

1:2 Gieâ-hoâ-va laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ghen vaø baùo thuø; Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va baùo thuø, vaø ñaày söï thaïnh noä. Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va baùo thuø keû cöøu ñòch mình vaø cöu giaän cho keû thuø mình.

1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

1:3 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va chaäm giaän vaø coù quyeàn lôùn; nhöng Ngaøi chaúng caàm keû maéc toäi laø voâ toäi. Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñi trong gioù loác vaø baõo toá, nhöõng ñaùm maây laø buïi döôùi chôn Ngaøi.

1:4 He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan languishes, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languishes.

1:4 Ngaøi quôû traùch bieån, laøm cho noù khoâ; vaø laøm caïn heát thaûy caùc soâng. Ba-san vaø Caït-meân ñeàu moøn moûi, hoa cuûa Li-ban ñeàu heùo ruïng.

1:5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

1:5 Caùc nuùi run raåy vì côù Ngaøi, caùc ñoài tan chaûy; ñaát vaø theá gian cuõng daân cö treân ñaát ñeàu daäy leân tröôùc maët Ngaøi.

1:6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

1:6 Ai ñöùng ñöôïc tröôùc söï thaïnh noä Ngaøi? Ai ñöông noåi söï noùng giaän Ngaøi? Söï töùc giaän cuûa Ngaøi ñoå ra nhö löûa, nhöõng vaàng ñaù vôõ ra bôûi Ngaøi.

1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.

1:7 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laø toát laønh, laøm ñoàn luõy trong ngaøy hoaïn naïn, vaø bieát nhöõng keû aån naùu nôi Ngaøi.

1:8 But with a surpassing flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

1:8 Ngaøi duøng nöôùc luït huûy dieät choã noù, vaø ñuoåi keû thuø nghòch mình vaøo söï toái taêm.

1:9 What do all of you imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

1:9 Caùc ngöôi seõ laäp möu gì nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va? Ngaøi seõ dieät heát caû, seõ chaúng coù tai naïn daäy leân laàn thöù hai.

1:10 For while they be folded together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.

1:10 Vì chuùng noù xoû xen nhö gai goác, vaø meâ man nhö say röôïu, thì seõ bò thieâu huûy heát nhö rôm khoâ.

1:11 There is one come out of you, that imagines evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.

1:11 Aáy laø töø ngöôi maø ra moät keû möu söï döõ nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø toan söï gian aùc.

1:12 Thus says the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.

1:12 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn nhö vaày: Daàu chuùng noù söùc maïnh ñaày ñuû vaø ngöôøi ñoâng cuõng seõ bò töø ñi vaø trôû neân hö khoâng. Daàu ta ñaõ laøm khoå ngöôi, song ta seõ chaúng laøm khoå ngöôi nöõa.

1:13 For now will I break his yoke from off you, and will burst your bonds in two.

1:13 Nhöng baáy giôø ta seõ beû gaõy aùch noù khoûi ngöôi, vaø böùt döùt daây ngöôi.

1:14 And the LORD has given a commandment concerning you, that no more of your name be sown: out of the house of your gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make your grave; for you are vile.

1:14 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ truyeàn lònh veà ngöôi, töø danh ngöôi chaúng sanh ra nöõa. Ta seõ tröø boû töôïng chaïm vaø töôïng ñuùc khoûi nhaø caùc thaàn ngöôi; ta seõ laøm moà maû cho ngöôi, vì ngöôi laø heøn maït.

1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

1:15 Naày, treân caùc nuùi coù chôn cuûa keû ñem tin laønh vaø rao söï bình an! Hôõi Giu-ña, ngöôi nöõa, noù seõ bò dieät saïch.

 Na hum - Nahum

2:1 He that dashes in pieces has come up before your face: keep the stronghold, watch the way, make your loins strong, fortify your power mightily.

2:1 Keû taøn phaù ñaõ ñeán nghòch cuõng ngöôi; haõy giöõ ñoàn luõy, canh phoøng ñöôøng saù, thaét chaët löng ngöôi, vaø thaâu goùp caû söùc maïnh ngöôi!

2:2 For the LORD has turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the destroyers have emptied them out, and ruined their vine branches.

2:2 Vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khoâi phuïc söï vinh hieån cuûa Gia-coáp nhö söï vinh hieån cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, bôûi nhöõng keû boùc loät ñaõ boùc loät chuùng noù, vaø ñaõ phaù haïi nhöõng nhaønh nho chuùng noù.

2:3 The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.

2:3 Thuaãn cuûa nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh laø ñoû, nhöõng lính chieán noù maëc aùo maøu ñieàu; trong ngaøy noù daøn traän, gang theùp cuûa xe coä seõ loøe ra nhö löûa, vaø göôm giaùo ñeàu lay ñoäng.

2:4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall clash with one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.

2:4 Nhöõng xe ñi hoãn ñoän trong ñöôøng phoá, vaø chaïy ñi chaïy laïi trong caùc ñöôøng roäng, thaáy noù nhö nhöõng ngoïn ñuoác, vaø chaïy nhö chôùp!

2:5 He shall recount his nobles: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared.

2:5 Noù nhôù laïi nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh daïn cuûa mình, nhöng chuùng noù böôùc ñi vaáp vaùp; chuùng voäi vaû ñeán nôi vaùch thaønh noù, saém saün ñeå choáng cöï.

2:6 The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved.

2:6 Caùc cöûa soâng môû ra, ñieân daïi tan maát?

2:7 And Huzzab shall be led away captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, beating upon their breasts.

2:7 Ñaõ nhöùt ñònh: hoaøng haäu bò boùc loät vaø bò baét ñi; caùc naøng haàu haï ngöôøi ñi theo, reân sieác nhö boø caâu, vaø ñaám ngöïc mình.

2:8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back.

2:8 Vaû, Ni-ni-ve, töø laâu nay noù ñaõ nhö ao chöùa nöôùc. Nhöng baây giôø chuùng noù chaïy troán! Coù keû keâu raèng: Haõy ñöùng, haõy ñöùng! Song khoâng ai quay laïi!

2:9 Take all of you the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture.

2:9 Haõy cöôùp baïc, cöôùp vaøng; vì cuûa baùu noù voâ ngaàn, moïi ñoà ñaïc quí nhieàu voâ soá.

2:10 She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melts, and the knees strike together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.

2:10 Noù ñaõ bò taøn phaù, troáng khoâng, vaø huûy hoaïi heát; loøng chuùng noù tan chaûy; ñaàu goái chuùng noù chaïm nhau; moïi löng ñeàu ñau, heát thaûy maët ñeàu xaùm ngaét.

2:11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feeding-place of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's offspring, and none made them afraid?

2:11 Naøo caùi hang cuûa sö töû, vaø nôi maø sö töû con nuoâi naáng, laø nôi sö töû ñöïc, sö töû caùi vaø con noù böôùc ñi, maø khoâng ai laøm cho chuùng noù sôï haõi baây giôø ôû ñaâu?

2:12 The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin.

2:12 Sö töû ñöïc xeù ñuû moài cho con noù, vaø boùp moài cho sö töû caùi, hang noù ñaày moài, oå noù ñaày cuûa ñaõ baét ñöôïc.

2:13 Behold, I am against you, says the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour your young lions: and I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voice of your messengers shall no more be heard.

2:13 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân phaùn raèng: Naày, ta nghòch cuøng ngöôi, seõ ñoát xe coä ngöôi, vaø laøm cho tan ra khoûi; göôm seõ nuoát nhöõng sö töû con cuûa ngöôi; ta seõ döùt moài ngöôi khoûi ñaát; vaø tieáng cuûa nhöõng söù giaû ngöôi seõ khoâng nghe nöõa.

 Na hum - Nahum

3:1 Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departs not;

3:1 Khoán thay cho thaønh ñoå maùu! Noù ñaày daãy nhöõng söï doái traù vaø cöôøng baïo, cöôùp boùc khoâng thoâi.

3:2 The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the prancing horses, and of the jumping chariots.

3:2 Ngöôøi ta nghe taêm roi, tieáng aàm cuûa baùnh xe; ngöïa thì phoùng ñaïi, xe thì chaïy mau.

3:3 The horseman lifts up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcasses; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses:

3:3 Nhöõng lính kî saán tôùi; göôm saùng loøe, giaùo nhaáp nhaùng. Coù ñoaøn ñoâng keû bò gieát, coù töøng ñoáng thaây lôùn, xaùc cheát nhieàu voâ soá! Ngöôøi ta vaáp ngaõ treân nhöõng thaây!

3:4 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well-favoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that sells nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

3:4 Ñoù laø vì côù raát nhieàu söï daâm ñaõng cuûa con ñó toát ñeïp kheùo laøm taø thuaät aáy; noù baùn caùc nöôùc bôûi söï daâm ñaõng, vaø baùn caùc hoï haøng bôûi söï taø thuaät.

3:5 Behold, I am against you, says the LORD of hosts; and I will discover your skirts upon your face, and I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.

3:5 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân phaùn: Naày, ta nghòch cuõng ngöôi; ta loät aùo xoáng ngöôi, phoâ baøy söï traàn truoàng ngöôi ra cho caùc daân toäc, vaø toû söï xaáu hoå ngöôi ra cho caùc nöôùc.

3:6 And I will cast abominable filth upon you, and make you vile, and will set you as a gazing-stock.

3:6 Ta seõ neùm söï oâ ueá gôùm ghieác cuûa ngöôi treân ngöôi, laøm cho ngöôi neân khinh heøn, laøm troø cho moïi ngöôi xem.

3:7 And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon you shall flee from you, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will lament for her? whence shall I seek comforters for you?

3:7 Xaûy ra coù ai thaáy ngöôi thì seõ laùnh xa vaø noùi raèng: Ni-ni-ve ñaõ hoang vu! Ai seõ coù loøng thöông xoùt ngöôøi? Ta bôûi ñaâu tìm cho ngöôi nhöõng keû yeân uûi?

3:8 Are you better than populous No, that was situated among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea?

3:8 Ngöôi muoán hôn Noâ -A-moân ôû giöõa caùc soâng, nöôùc boïc chung quanh, laáy bieån laøm ñoàn luõy, laáy bieån laøm vaùch thaønh hay sao?

3:9 Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, and it was infinite; Put and Lubim were your helpers.

3:9 EÂ-thi-oâ-bi vaø EÂ-díp-toâ laø söùc maïnh voâ cuøng cuûa noù. Phuùt vaø Li-by laø keû cöùu giuùp ngöôi.

3:10 Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity: her young children also were dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains.

3:10 Daàu vaäy, chính noù cuõng ñaõ bò ñaøy khoûi ñaát mình; bò baét ñi laøm phu tuø; con caùi noù cuõng ñaõ bò nghieàn naùt nôi ngaõ ba caùc ñöôøng phoá. Ngöôøi ta ñaõ neùm thaêm treân caùc keû caû noù, vaø caùc quan tröôûng noù ñeàu bò mang xieàng.

3:11 You also shall be drunken: you shall be hid, you also shall seek strength because of the enemy.

3:11 Ngöôi cuõng vaäy, ngöôi seõ meâ man vì say, seõ ñöôïc aån naùu, vaø tìm nôi vöõng beàn vì côù keû thuø.

3:12 All your strong holds shall be like fig trees with the first-fruits figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater.

3:12 Heát thaûy nhöõng ñoàn luõy ngöôi nhö caây vaû coù traùi chín ñaàu muøa, heã lung lay thì ruïng xuoáng trong mieäng cuûa keû muoán aên noù.

3:13 Behold, your people in the midst of you are women: the gates of your land shall be set wide open unto yours enemies: the fire shall devour your bars.

3:13 Naày, daân söï ngöôi laø ñôøn baø ôû giöõa ngöôi. Caùc cöûa thaønh cuûa ñaát ngöôi seõ môû roäng cho quaân thuø ngöôi; löûa ñaõ thieâu nuoát nhöõng then ngöôi!

3:14 Draw you waters for the siege, fortify your strong holds: go into clay, and tread the mortar, make strong the brick-kiln.

3:14 Ngöôi khaù muùc nöôùc ñeå phoøng côn vaây haõm, laøm vöõng chaéc ñoàn luõy ngöôi. Khaù ñaïp buøn, nhoài ñaát seùt, vaø xaây laïi loø gaïch!

3:15 There shall the fire devour you; the sword shall cut you off, it shall eat you up like the cankerworm: make yourself many as the cankerworm, make yourself many as the locusts.

3:15 Taïi ñoù löûa seõ thieâu ngöôi, göôm seõ dieät ngöôi, nuoát ngöôi nhö caøo caøo vaäy, ngöôi khaù nhoùm laïi ñoâng nhö caøo caøo, nhieàu nhö chaâu chaáu!

3:16 You have multiplied your merchants above the stars of heaven: the cankerworm spoils, and flees away.

3:16 Ngöôi ñaõ theâm keû buoân baùn ngöôi nhieàu ra nhö sao treân trôøi; caøo caøo ñaõ caén phaù heát roài troán ñi.

3:17 Your crowned are as the locusts, and your captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun arises they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.

3:17 Caùc quan tröôûng ngöôi nhö caøo caøo, caùc quan töôùng ngöôi nhö baày chaâu chaáu ñaäu treân haøng raøo trong khi trôøi laïnh, ñeán chöøng maët trôøi moïc, noù ñi maát, ngöôøi ta khoâng bieát noù ôû ñaâu.

3:18 Your shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria: your nobles shall dwell in the dust: your people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathers them.

3:18 Hôõi vua A-si-ri, nhöõng keû chaên cuûa ngöôi nguû roài! Nhöõng keû sang troïng cuûa ngöôi ñeàu yeân nghæ; daân söï ngöôi tan laïc nôi caùc nuùi, khoâng ai nhoùm hoïp chuùng noù laïi.

3:19 There is no healing of your bruise; your wound is grievous: all that hear the bruit of you shall clap the hands over you: for upon whom has not your wickedness passed continually?

3:19 Veát thöông ngöôi khoâng thuoác chöõa, daáu vít ngöôi raát hieåm ngheøo; phaøm keû nghe noùi veà ngöôi ñeàu voã tay treân ngöôi; vì ai laø keû chaúng töøng chòu luoân söï hung aùc cuûa ngöôi!
