 Lu ca - Luke

13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

13:1 Cuõng luùc aáy, coù maáy ngöôøi ôû ñoù thuaät cho Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nghe veà vieäc Phi-laùt gieát maáy ngöôøi Ga-li-leâ, laáy huyeát troän loän vôùi cuûa leã hoï.

13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose all of you that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

13:2 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caát tieáng ñaùp raèng: Caùc ngöôi töôûng maáy ngöôøi ñoù vì chòu khoán naïn döôøng aáy, coù toäi loãi troïng hôn moïi ngöôøi Ga-li-leâ khaùc sao?

13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except all of you repent, all of you shall all likewise perish.

13:3 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, khoâng phaûi; song neáu caùc ngöôi chaúng aên naên, thì heát thaûy seõ bò hö maát nhö vaäy.

13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think all of you that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

13:4 Hay laø möôøi taùm ngöôøi bò thaùp Si-loâ-eâ ngaõ xuoáng ñeû cheát kia, caùc ngöôi töôûng hoï coù toäi loãi troïng hôn moïi keû khaùc ôû thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem sao?

13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except all of you repent, all of you shall all likewise perish.

13:5 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, khoâng phaûi; nhöng neáu caùc ngöôi chaúng aên naên, thì heát thaûy cuõng seõ bò hö maát nhö vaäy.

13:6 He spoke also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

13:6 Ngaøi laïi phaùn thí duï naày: Ngöôøi kia coù moät caây vaû troàng trong vöôøn nho mình, ñeán haùi traùi maø khoâng thaáy;

13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbers it the ground?

13:7 beøn noùi cuøng keû troàng nho raèng: Kìa ñaõ ba naêm nay ta ñeán haùi traùi nôi caây vaû naày maø khoâng thaáy: haõy ñoán noù ñi; côù sao noù choaùn ñaát voâ ích?

13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

13:8 Keû troàng nho raèng: Thöa chuùa, xin ñeå laïi naêm naày nöõa, toâi seõ ñaøo ñaát xung quanh noù roài ñoå phaân vaøo.

13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that you shall cut it down.

13:9 Coù leõ veà sau noù seõ ra traùi; baèng khoâng, chuùa seõ ñoán.

13:10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

13:10 Moät ngaøy Sa-baùt, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus giaûng daïy trong nhaø hoäi kia.

13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit (o. pneuma) of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

13:11 Vaû, taïi ñoù, coù ngöôøi ñôøn baø maéc quæ aùm, phaûi ñau lieät ñaõ möôøi taùm naêm; cong löng chaúng ñöùng thaúng ñöôïc.

13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, you are loosed from yours infirmity.

13:12 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vöøa thaáy, goïi maø phaùn raèng: Hôõi ñôøn baø kia, ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc cöùu khoûi bònh;

13:13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

13:13 Ngaøi beøn ñaët tay treân mình ngöôøi. Töùc thì, ngöôøi ñöùng thaúng leân ñöôïc, vaø ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

13:14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

13:14 Baáy giôø ngöôøi cai nhaø hoäi nhôn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ chöõa bònh trong ngaøy Sa-baùt, thì giaän maø caát tieáng noùi cuøng ñoaøn daân raèng: Coù saùu ngaøy phaûi laøm vieäc, vaäy haõy ñeán trong nhöõng ngaøy aáy ñeå ñöôïc chöõa cho, ñöøng ñeán trong ngaøy Sa-baùt.

13:15 The Lord then answered him, and said, You hypocrite, does not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

13:15 Nhöng Chuùa ñaùp raèng: Hôõi keû giaû hình, moãi ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi, ñang ngaøy Sa-baùt, haù khoâng môû boø hoaëc löøa mình ra khoûi maùng coû, daét ñi uoáng nöôùc hay sao?

13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

13:16 Con gaùi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham naày, quæ Sa-tan ñaõ caàm buoäc möôøi taùm naêm, haù chaúng neân môû troùi cho noù trong ngaøy Sa-baùt sao?

13:17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

13:17 Ngaøi phaùn nhö vaäy, thì caùc keû thuø nghòch cuøng Ngaøi ñeàu hoå theïn, vaø caû daân chuùng vui möøng veà moïi vieäc vinh hieån Ngaøi ñaõ laøm.

13:18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and unto which shall I resemble it?

13:18 Vaäy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi gioáng nhö gì, ta laáy chi maø saùnh vôùi?

13:19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

13:19 Nöôùc aáy gioáng nhö moät hoät caûi, ngöôøi kia laáy gieo trong vöôøn; noù moïc leân trôû neân caây coái, vaø chim trôøi laøm ôû treân nhaønh.

13:20 And again he said, Unto which shall I liken the kingdom of God?

13:20 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Ta seõ saùnh nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vôùi gì?

13:21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

13:21 Nöôùc aáy gioáng nhö men, ngöôøi ñôøn baø kia laáy troän vaøo ba ñaáu boät, cho ñeán chöøng boät daäy caû leân.

13:22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

13:22 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus traûi qua caùc thaønh caùc laøng, vöøa daïy doã vöøa ñi thaúng tôùi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

13:23 Coù ngöôøi thöa Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, coù phaûi chæ ít keû ñöôïc cöùu chaêng?

13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

13:24 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Haõy gaéng söùc vaøo cöûa heïp, vì, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, nhieàu ngöôøi seõ tìm caùch vaøo maø khoâng vaøo ñöôïc.

13:25 When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut to the door, and all of you begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence all of you are:

13:25 Khi chuû nhaø chôø daäy, ñoùng cöûa laïi roài, caùc ngöôi ôû ngoaøi goõ cöûa keâu raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin môû cho chuùng toâi! Chuû seõ traû lôøi raèng: Ta khoâng bieát caùc ngöôi ñeán töø ñaâu.

13:26 Then shall all of you begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets.

13:26 Baáy giôø caùc ngöôi seõ thöa raèng: Chuùng toâi ñaõ aên uoáng tröôùc maët Chuùa, vaø Chuùa ñaõ daïy doã trong caùc chôï chuùng toâi.

13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence all of you are; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.

13:27 Chuû laïi seõ traû lôøi raèng: Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, khoâng bieát caùc ngöôi ñeán töø ñaâu; heát thaûy nhöõng keû laøm döõ kia, haõy lui ra khoûi ta!

13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when all of you shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

13:28 Khi aáy, caùc ngöôi thaáy Aùp-ra-ham, Y-saùc vaø Gia-coáp, cuøng heát thaûy caùc ñaáng tieân tri ñeàu ôû trong nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, coøn caùc ngöôi seõ bò quaêng ra ngoaøi, laø nôi coù khoùc loùc vaø nghieán raêng.

13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

13:29 Laïi töø Ñoâng Taây Nam Baéc, ngöôøi ta seõ ñeán maø ngoài baøn ôû trong nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

13:30 Naày, khi aáy coù keû roát seõ neân ñaàu, keû ñaàu seõ laø roát.

13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get you out, and depart behind: for Herod will kill you.

13:31 Cuõng trong luùc ñoù, coù maáy ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñeán thöa Ngaøi raèng: Thaày neân boû choã naày maø ñi, vì vua Heâ-roát muoán gieát thaày.

13:32 And he said unto them, Go all of you, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

13:32 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Haõy ñi noùi vôùi con choàn caùo aáy raèng: Ngaøy nay, ngaøy mai, ta ñuoåi quæ chöõa bònh, ñeán ngaøy thöù ba, thì ñôøi ta seõ xong roài.

13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

13:33 Nhöng ngaøy nay, ngaøy mai, vaø ngaøy kia ta phaûi ñi, vì khoâng coù leõ moät ñaáng tieân tri phaûi cheát ngoaøi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kill the prophets, and stone them that are sent unto you; how often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen does gather her brood under her wings, and all of you would not!

13:34 Hôõi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ngöôi gieát caùc tieân tri, vaø quaêng ñaù caùc ñaáng chòu sai ñeán cuøng ngöôi, ghe phen ta muoán nhoùm hoïp con caùi ngöôi, nhö gaø maùi tuùc vaø aáp con mình döôùi caùnh, maø caùc ngöôi chaúng muoán!

13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, All of you shall not see me, until the time come when all of you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.

13:35 Naày, nhaø caùc ngöôi, caùc ngöôi seõ boû hoang. Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, caùc ngöôi khoâng coøn thaáy ta nöõa cho ñeán chöøng naøo seõ noùi raèng: Phöôùc cho Ñaáng nhôn danh Chuùa maø ñeán!

 Lu ca - Luke

14:1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

14:1 Moät ngaøy Sa-baùt, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo nhaø moät ngöôøi keû caû doøng Pha-ri-si ñeå duøng böõa, nhöõng ngöôøi ôû ñoù doøm haønh Ngaøi.

14:2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.

14:2 Soá laø coù moät ngöôøi maéc bònh thuûy thuõng ôû tröôùc maët Ngaøi.

14:3 And Jesus answering spoke unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?

14:3 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caát tieáng hoûi thaày daïy luaät vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si raèng: Trong ngaøy Sa-baùt, coù neân chöõa bònh hay khoâng?

14:4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;

14:4 Hoï ñeàu laøm thinh. Ngaøi beøn ñem ngöôøi bònh chöõa laønh, roài cho veà.

14:5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not immediately pull him out on the sabbath day?

14:5 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Naøo coù ai trong caùc ngöôi, ñöông ngaøy Sa-baùt, neáu coù con trai hay laø boø mình teù xuoáng gieáng maø khoâng keùo lieàn leân sao?

14:6 And they could not answer him again to these things.

14:6 Hoï khoâng ñoái ñaùp gì veà ñieàu ñoù ñöôïc.

14:7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.

14:7 Ngaøi thaáy nhöõng keû ñöôïc môøi ñeàu löïa choã ngoài treân, neân phaùn cuøng hoï thí duï naày:

14:8 When you are bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than you be bidden of him;

14:8 Khi ngöôøi ta môøi ngöôi döï tieäc cöôùi, chôù ngoài choã cao nhöùt, vì e raèng trong nhöõng khaùch môøi coù ai toân troïng hôn ngöôi,

14:9 And he that bade you and him come and say to you, Give this man place; and you begin with shame to take the low room.

14:9 ngöôøi ñöùng môøi seõ ñeán noùi cuøng ngöôi raèng: Haõy nhöôøng choã cho ngöôøi naày ngoài, maø ngöôi xaáu hoå vì phaûi xuoáng choã choùt chaêng.

14:10 But when you are bidden, go and sit down in the low room; that when he that bade you comes, he may say unto you, Friend, go up higher: then shall you have worship in the presence of them that sit to eat with you.

14:10 Nhöng khi ngöôi ñöôïc môøi, haõy ngoài choã choùt, ngöôøi ñöùng môøi seõ ñeán noùi cuøng ngöôi raèng: Hôõi baïn, xin ngoài leân cao hôn. Vaäy thì ñieàu ñoù seõ laøm cho ngöôi ñöôïc kính troïng tröôùc maët nhöõng ngöôøi ñoàng baøn mình.

14:11 For whosoever exalts himself shall be brought low; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.

14:11 Bôûi vì ai töï nhaéc mình leân, seõ phaûi haï xuoáng, coøn ai töï haï mình xuoáng, seõ ñöôïc nhaéc leân.

14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When you make a dinner or a supper, call not your friends, nor your brethren, neither your kinsmen, nor your rich neighbours; lest they also bid you again, and a recompence be made you.

14:12 Ngaøi cuõng phaùn vôùi ngöôøi môøi Ngaøi raèng: Khi ngöôi ñaõi böõa tröa hoaëc böõa toái, ñöøng môøi baïn höõu, anh em, baø con vaø laùng gieàng giaøu, e raèng hoï cuõng môøi laïi maø traû cho ngöôi chaêng.

14:13 But when you make a feast, call the poor, the physically disabled, the lame, the blind:

14:13 Song khi ngöôi ñaõi tieäc, haõy môøi nhöõng keû ngheøo khoù, taøn taät, queø, ñui,

14:14 And you shall be blessed; for they cannot recompense you: for you shall be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

14:14 thì ngöôi seõ ñöôïc phöôùc, vì hoï khoâng coù theå traû laïi cho ngöôi; ñeán kyø keû coâng bình soáng laïi, ngöôi seõ ñöôïc traû.

14:15 And when one of them that sat at food with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

14:15 Moät ngöôøi ñoàng tieäc nghe lôøi ñoù, thì thöa Ngaøi raèng: Phöôùc cho keû seõ ñöôïc aên baùnh trong nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi!

14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

14:16 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Coù ngöôøi kia doïn tieäc lôùn, môøi nhieàu ngöôøi aên.

14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

14:17 Khi ñeán giôø aên, sai ñaày tôù mình ñi noùi vôùi nhöõng keû ñöôïc môøi raèng: Haõy ñeán, moïi söï ñaõ saün roài.

14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must essentially go and see it: I pray you have me excused.

14:18 Song hoï ñoàng tình xin kieáu heát. Ngöôøi thöù nhöùt noùi raèng: Toâi coù mua moät ñaùm ruoäng, caàn phaûi ñi coi; xin cho toâi kieáu.

14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray you have me excused.

14:19 Keû khaùc raèng: Toâi coù mua naêm caëp boø, phaûi ñi xem thöû; xin cho toâi kieáu.

14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

14:20 Keû khaùc nöõa raèng: Toâi môùi cöôùi vôï, vaäy toâi khoâng ñi ñöôïc.

14:21 So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor, and the physically disabled, and the halt, and the blind.

14:21 Ñaày tôù trôû veà, trình vieäc ñoù cho chuû mình. Chuû beøn noåi giaän, bieåu ñaày tôù raèng: Haõy ñi mau ra ngoaøi chôï, vaø caùc ñöôøng phoá, ñem nhöõng keû ngheøo khoù, taøn taät, ñui, queø vaøo ñaây.

14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as you have commanded, and yet there is room.

14:22 Sau laïi ñaày tôù trình raèng: Thöa chuû, ñieàu chuû daïy, ñaõ laøm roài, maø haõy coøn thöøa choã.

14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

14:23 Chuû nhaø laïi bieåu raèng: Haõy ra ngoaøi ñöôøng vaø doïc haøng raøo, gaëp ai thì eùp môøi vaøo, cho ñöôïc ñaày nhaø ta.

14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

14:24 Vì, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, trong nhöõng keû ñaõ môøi tröôùc, khoâng coù ai ñöôïc neám böõa tieäc cuûa ta ñaâu.

14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

14:25 Coù ñoaøn daân ñoâng cuøng ñi vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus; Ngaøi xaây laïi cuøng hoï maø phaùn raèng:

14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

14:26 Neáu coù ai ñeán theo ta maø khoâng gheùt cha meï, vôï con, anh em, chò em mình, vaø chính söï soáng mình nöõa, thì khoâng ñöôïc laøm moân ñoà ta.

14:27 And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

14:27 Coøn ai khoâng vaùc thaäp töï giaù mình theo ta, cuõng khoâng ñöôïc laøm moân ñoà ta.

14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sits not down first, and counts the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

14:28 Vaû, trong caùc ngöôi coù ai laø ngöôøi muoán xaây moät caùi thaùp, maø tröôùc khoâng ngoài tính phí toån cho bieát mình coù ñuû cuûa ñaëng laøm xong vieäc cuøng chaêng sao?

14:29 Lest lest by any means, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

14:29 e khi ñaõ xaây neàn roài, khoâng laøm xong ñöôïc, thì moïi ngöôøi thaáy lieàn cheâ cöôøi,

14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

14:30 vaø raèng: Ngöôøi naày khôûi coâng xaây, maø khoâng theå laøm xong ñöôïc!

14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sits not down first, and consults whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand?

14:31 Hay laø coù vua naøo ñi ñaùnh traän cuøng vua khaùc, maø tröôùc khoâng ngoài baøn luaän xem mình ñem ñi moät muoân lính coù theå ñòch noåi vua kia ñem hai muoân cuøng chaêng sao?

14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends an embassy, and desires conditions of peace.

14:32 Baèng chaúng noåi, khi vua kia coøn ôû xa, sai söù ñi xin hoøa.

14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he has, he cannot be my disciple.

14:33 Nhö vaäy, neáu ai trong caùc ngöôi khoâng boû moïi söï mình coù, thì khoâng ñöôïc laøm moân ñoà ta.

14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

14:34 Muoái laø gioáng toát; nhöng neáu muoái maát maën, thì laáy chi laøm cho noù maën laïi ñöôïc?

14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

14:35 Khoâng duøng chi ñöôïc cho ruoäng hoaëc cho phaân; ngöôøi ta phaûi boû noù ra ngoaøi. Ai coù tai maø nghe, haõy nghe.

 Lu ca - Luke

15:1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners in order to hear him.

15:1 Heát thaûy caùc ngöôøi thaâu thueá vaø ngöôøi coù toäi ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaëng nghe Ngaøi giaûng.

15:2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners, and eats with them.

15:2 Caùc ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo laèm baèm maø noùi raèng: Ngöôøi naày tieáp nhöõng keû toäi loãi, vaø cuøng aên vôùi hoï!

15:3 And he spoke this parable unto them, saying,

15:3 Ngaøi beøn phaùn cho hoï lôøi thí duï naày:

15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

15:4 Trong caùc ngöôi ai laø ngöôøi coù moät traêm con chieân, neáu maát moät con, maø khoâng ñeå chín möôi chín con nôi ñoàng vaéng, ñaëng ñi tìm con ñaõ maát cho kyø ñöôïc sao?

15:5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

15:5 Khi ñaõ kieám ñöôïc, thì vui möøng vaùc noù leân vai;

15:6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

15:6 ñoaïn, veà ñeán nhaø, keâu baïn höõu vaø keû laân caän, maø raèng: Haõy chung vui vôùi ta, vì ta ñaõ tìm ñöôïc con chieân bò maát.

15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

15:7 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, treân trôøi cuõng nhö vaäy, seõ vui möøng cho moät keû coù toäi aên naên hôn laø chín möôi chín keû coâng bình khoâng caàn phaûi aên naên.

15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, does not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

15:8 Hay laø, coù ngöôøi ñôøn baø naøo coù möôøi ñoàng baïc, maát moät ñoàng, maø khoâng thaép ñeøn, queùt nhaø, kieám kyõ caøng cho kyø ñöôïc sao?

15:9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

15:9 Khi tìm ñöôïc roài, goïi baàu baïn vaø ngöôøi laân caän mình, maø raèng: Haõy chung vui vôùi ta, vì ta ñaõ tìm ñöôïc ñoàng baïc bò maát.

15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

15:10 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, tröôùc maët thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng nhö vaäy, seõ möøng rôõ cho moät keû coù toäi aên naên.

15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:

15:11 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Moät ngöôøi kia coù hai con trai.

15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. And he divided unto them his living.

15:12 Ngöôøi em noùi vôùi cha raèng: Thöa cha, xin chia cho toâi phaàn cuûa maø toâi seõ ñöôïc. Ngöôøi cha lieàn chia cuûa mình cho hai con.

15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

15:13 Caùch ít ngaøy, ngöôøi em toùm thaâu heát, ñi phöông xa, ôû ñoù, aên chôi hoang ñaøng, tieâu saïch gia taøi mình.

15:14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in lack.

15:14 Khi ñaõ xaøi heát cuûa roài, trong xöù xaûy coù côn ñoùi lôùn; noù môùi bò ngheøo thieáu,

15:15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

15:15 beøn ñi laøm möôùn cho moät ngöôøi boån xöù, thì hoï sai ra ñoàng chaên heo.

15:16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

15:16 Noù muoán laáy voû ñaäu cuûa heo aên maø aên cho no, nhöng chaúng ai cho.

15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

15:17 Vaäy noù môùi tænh ngoä, maø raèng: Taïi nhaø cha ta, bieát bao ngöôøi laøm möôùn ñöôïc baùnh aên dö daät, maø ta ñaây phaûi cheát ñoùi!

15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before you,

15:18 Ta seõ ñöùng daäy trôû veà cuøng cha, maø raèng: Thöa cha, toâi ñaõ ñaëng toäi vôùi trôøi vaø vôùi cha,

15:19 And am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of your hired servants.

15:19 khoâng ñaùng goïi laø con cuûa cha nöõa; xin cha ñaõi toâi nhö ñöùa laøm möôùn cuûa cha vaäy.

15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

15:20 Noù beøn ñöùng daäy maø veà cuøng cha mình. Khi coøn ôû ñaøng xa, cho noù thaáy thì ñoäng loøng thöông xoùt, chaïy ra oâm laáy coå maø hoân.

15:21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, and am no more worthy to be called your son.

15:21 Con thöa cuøng cha raèng: Cha ôi, toâi ñaõ ñaëng toäi vôùi trôøi vaø vôùi cha, chaúng coøn ñaùng goïi laø con cuûa cha nöõa.

15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

15:22 nhöng ngöôøi cha baûo ñaày tôù raèng: Haõy mau mau laáy aùo toát nhöùt maëc cho noù; ñeo nhaãn vaøo ngoùn tay, mang giaøy vaøo chôn.

15:23 And bring here the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

15:23 Haõy baét boø con maäp laøm thòt ñi. Chuùng ta haõy aên möøng,

15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

15:24 vì con ta ñaây ñaõ cheát maø baây giôø laïi soáng, ñaõ maát maø baây giôø laïi thaáy ñöôïc. Ñoaïn, hoï khôûi söï vui möøng.

15:25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.

15:25 Vaû, con trai caû ñöông ôû ngoaøi ñoàng. Khi trôû veà gaàn ñeán nhaø, nghe tieáng ñôøn ca nhaûy muùa,

15:26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

15:26 beøn goïi moät ñaày tôù maø hoûi côù gì.

15:27 And he said unto him, Your brother has come; and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.

15:27 Ñaày tôù thöa raèng: Em caäu baây giôø trôû veà, neân cha caäu ñaõ laøm thòt boø con maäp, vì thaáy em veà ñöôïc maïnh khoûe.

15:28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and implored him.

15:28 Con caû lieàn noåi giaän, khoâng muoán vaøo nhaø. Vaäy cha noù ra khuyeân noù vaøo.

15:29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve you, neither transgressed I at any time your commandment: and yet you never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

15:29 Nhöng noù thöa cha raèng: Naày, toâi giuùp vieäc cha ñaõ baáy nhieâu naêm, chöa töøng traùi pheùp, maø cha chaúng heà cho toâi moät con deâ con ñaëng aên chôi vôùi baïn höõu toâi.

15:30 But as soon as this your son was come, which has devoured your living with harlots, you have killed for him the fatted calf.

15:30 Nhöng nay con cuûa cha kia, laø ñöùa ñaõ aên heát gia taøi cha vôùi phöôøng ñieám ñó roài trôû veà, thì cha vì noù laøm thòt boø con maäp!

15:31 And he said unto him, Son, you are ever with me, and all that I have is yours.

15:31 Ngöôøi cha noùi raèng: Con ôi, con ôû cuøng cha luoân, heát thaûy cuûa cha laø cuûa con.

15:32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

15:32 Nhöng thaät neân doïn tieäc vaø vui möøng, vì em con ñaây ñaõ cheát maø laïi soáng, ñaõ maát maø laïi thaáy ñöôïc.

 Lu ca - Luke

16:1 And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.

16:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: ngöôøi giaøu kia coù moät quaûn gia bò caùo vôùi chuû raèng ngöôøi tieâu phaù cuûa chuû.

16:2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of you? give an account (o. logos) of your stewardship; for you may be no longer steward.

16:2 Vaäy, chuû ñoøi ngöôøi ñoù maø noùi raèng: Ta nghe noùi veà ngöôi noãi chi? Haõy khai ra vieäc quaûn trò cuûa ngöôi, vì töø nay ngöôi khoâng ñöôïc cai quaûn gia taøi ta nöõa.

16:3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord takes away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.

16:3 Ngöôøi quaûn gia töï nghó raèng: Chuû caùch chöùc ta, ta seõ laøm gì? Laøm ruoäng thì ta khoâng coù söùc laøm noåi, coøn ñi aên maøy thì hoå ngöôi.

16:4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

16:4 Ta bieát ñieàu ta seõ laøm, ñeå khi bò caùch chöùc, coù keû tieáp röôùc ta veà nhaø.

16:5 So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owe you unto my lord?

16:5 Ngaøi aáy beøn goïi rieâng töøng ngöôøi maéc nôï chuû mình ñeán, vaø hoûi ngöôøi thöù nhöùt raèng: Ngöôi maéc nôï chuû ta bao nhieâu?

16:6 And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take your bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

16:6 Traû lôøi raèng: Moät traêm thuøng daàu. Quaûn gia noùi raèng: Haõy caàm laáy töø kheá, ngoài xuoáng ñoù, vieát mau: Naêm chuïc.

16:7 Then said he to another, And how much owe you? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take your bill, and write fourscore.

16:7 Roài hoûi ngöôøi kia raèng: Coøn ngöôi, maéc bao nhieâu? Traû lôøi raèng: Moät traêm hoäc luùa mì. Quaûn gia raèng: Haõy caàm laáy tôø kheá vaø vieát: Taùm chuïc.

16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

16:8 Chuû beøn khen quaûn gia baát nghóa aáy veà vieäc ngöôøi ñaõ laøm khoân kheùo nhö vaäy. Vì con ñôøi naày trong vieäc thoâng coâng vôùi ngöôøi ñoàng ñôøi mình thì khoân kheùo hôn con saùng laùng.

16:9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when all of you fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

16:9 Coøn ta noùi cho caùc ngöôi: Haõy duøng cuûa baát nghóa maø keát baïn, ñeå khi cuûa aáy heát ñi, hoï tieáp caùc ngöôi vaøo nhaø ñôøi ñôøi.

16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

16:10 Ai trung tín trong vieäc raát nhoû, cuõng trung tín trong vieäc lôùn; ai baát nghóa trong vieäc raát nhoû, cuõng baát nghóa trong vieäc raát lôùn.

16:11 If therefore all of you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

16:11 Vaäy neáu caùc ngöôi khoâng trung tín veà cuûa baát nghóa, coù ai ñem cuûa thaät giao cho caùc ngöôi?

16:12 And if all of you have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

16:12 Neáu caùc ngöôi khoâng trung tín veà cuûa ngöôøi khaùc, ai seõ cho caùc ngöôi ñöôïc cuûa rieâng mình?

16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. All of you cannot serve God and mammon.

16:13 Khoâng coù ñaày tôù naøo laøm toâi hai chuû ñöôïc; vì seõ gheùt chuû naày maø yeâu chuû kia, hay laø hieäp vôùi chuû naày maø khinh deå chuû kia. Caùc ngöôi khoâng coù theå ñaõ laøm toâi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laïi laøm toâi Ma-moân nöõa.

16:14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

16:14 Ngöôøi Pha-ri-si laø keû ham tieàn taøi, nghe moïi ñieàu ñoù, beøn cheâ cöôøi Ngaøi.

16:15 And he said unto them, All of you are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

16:15 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Caùc ngöôi laøm boä coâng bình qua maët ngöôøi ta, song Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bieát loøng caùc ngöôi; vì söï ngöôøi ta toân troïng laø gôùm ghieác tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it.

16:16 Luaät phaùp vaø caùc lôøi tieân tri coù ñeán ñôøi Giaêng maø thoâi; töø ñoù tin laønh cuûa nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñöôïc truyeàn ra, vaø ai naáy duøng söùc maïnh maø vaøo ñoù.

16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

16:17 Trôøi ñaát qua ñi coøn deã hôn moät neùt chöõ trong luaät phaùp phaûi boû ñi.

16:18 Whosoever puts away his wife, and marries another, commits adultery: and whosoever marries her that is put away from her husband commits adultery.

16:18 Ai boû vôï mình maø cöôùi vôï khaùc, thì phaïm toäi taø daâm, ai cöôùi ñôøn baø bò choàng ñeå, thì cuõng phaïm toäi taø daâm.

16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

16:19 Coù moät ngöôøi giaøu maëc aùo tía vaø aùo baèng vaûi gai mòn, haèng ngaøy aên ôû raát laø sung söôùng.

16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

16:20 Laïi coù moät ngöôøi ngheøo, treân laø La-xa-rô, naèm ngoaøi cöûa ngöôøi giaøu ñoù, mình ñaày nhöõng gheû.

16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

16:21 Ngöôøi öôùc ao ñöôïc aên nhöõng ñoà ôû treân baøn ngöôøi giaøu rôùt xuoáng; cuõng coù choù ñeán lieám gheû ngöôøi.

16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

16:22 Vaû, ngöôøi ngheøo cheát, thieân söù ñem ñeå vaøo loøng Aùp-ra-ham; ngöôøi giaøu cuõng cheát, ngöôøi ta ñem choân.

16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham far off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

16:23 Ngöôøi giaøu ôû nôi aâm phuû ñang bò ñau ñôùn, ngöôùc maét leân, xa thaáy Aùp-ra-ham, vaø La-xa-rô trong loøng ngöôøi;

16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

16:24 beøn keâu leân raèng: Hôõi Aùp-ra-ham toå toâi, xin thöông laáy toâi, sai La-xa-rô nhuùng ñaàu ngoùn tay vaøo nöôùc ñaëng laøm cho maùt löôõi toâi; vì toâi bò khoå trong löûa naày quaù ñoãi.

16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented.

16:25 Nhöng Aùp-ra-ham traû lôøi raèng: Con ôi, haõy nhôù luùc ngöôi coøn soáng ñaõ ñöôïc höôûng nhöõng söï laønh cuûa mình roài, coøn La-xa-rô phaûi nhöõng söï döõ; baây giôø, noù ôû ñaây ñöôïc yeân uûi, coøn ngöôi phaûi bò khoå hình.

16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from behind to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

16:26 Vaû laïi, coù moät vöïc saâu ôû giöõa chuùng ta vôùi ngöôi, ñeán noãi ai muoán töø ñaây qua ñoù khoâng ñöôïc, maø muoán töø ñoù qua ñaây cuõng khoâng ñöôïc.

16:27 Then he said, I pray you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house:

16:27 Ngöôøi giaøu noùi raèng: Toå toâi ôi! vaäy thì xin sai La-xa-rô ñeán nhaø cha toâi,

16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

16:28 vì toâi coù naêm anh em, ñaëng ngöôøi laøm chöùng cho hoï veà nhöõng ñieàu naày, keûo hoï cuõng xuoáng nôi ñau ñôùn naày chaêng.

16:29 Abraham says unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

16:29 Aùp-ra-ham traû lôøi raèng: Chuùng noù ñaõ coù Moâi-se vaø caùc ñaáng tieân tri; chuùng noù phaûi nghe lôøi caùc ñaáng aáy!

16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

16:30 Ngöôøi giaøu noùi raèng: Thöa Aùp-ra-ham toå toâi, khoâng phaûi vaäy ñaâu; nhöng neáu coù keû cheát soáng laïi ñeán cuøng hoï, thì hoï seõ aên naên.

16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

16:31 Song Aùp-ra-ham raèng: Neáu khoâng nghe Moâi-se vaø caùc ñaáng tieân tri, thì daàu coù ai töø keû cheát soáng laïi, chuùng noù cuõng chaúng tin vaäy.

 Lu ca - Luke

17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

17:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Khoâng coù theå khoûi xaûy ñeán söï gaây neân phaïm toäi ñöôïc; song khoán thay cho ai laø keû laøm ra söï aáy!

17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

17:2 Neáu ai gaây cho chæ moät keû nhoû naày phaïm toäi, thì thaø raèng buoäc coái ñaù vaøo coå noù maø quaêng xuoáng bieån coøn hôn.

17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If your brother trespass against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

17:3 Caùc ngöôi haõy giöõ laáy mình. Neáu anh em ngöôi ñaõ phaïm toäi, haõy quôû traùch hoï; vaø neáu hoï aên naên, thì haõy tha thöù.

17:4 And if he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day return to you, saying, I repent; you shall forgive him.

17:4 Daàu trong moät ngaøy, hoï phaïm toäi cuøng ngöôi baûy laàn vaø baûy laàn trôû laïi cuøng ngöôi maø noùi raèng: Toâi aên naên, thì haõy tha toäi cho hoï.

17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

17:5 Caùc söù ñoà thöa Chuùa raèng: Xin theâm ñöùc tin cho chuùng toâi!

17:6 And the Lord said, If all of you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, all of you might say unto this sycamine tree, Be you plucked up by the root, and be you planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

17:6 Chuùa ñaùp raèng: Neáu caùc ngöôi coù ñöùc tin troâng baèng hoät caûi, caùc ngöôi khieán caây daâu naày raèng: Haõy nhoå ñi maø troàng döôùi bieån, thì noù seõ vaâng lôøi.

17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he has come from the field, Go and sit down to food?

17:7 Ai trong caùc ngöôi coù ñaày tôù ñi caøy hoaëc ñi chaên, khi ôû ngoaøi ñoàng veà, bieåu noù raèng: Haõy ñeán ngay maø ngoài aên, hay sao?

17:8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you shall eat and drink?

17:8 Traùi laïi, haù khoâng bieåu noù raèng: Haõy doïn cho ta aên, thaét löng haàu ta, cho ñeán chöøng naøo ta aên uoáng xong, roài sau ngöôi seõ aên uoáng sao?

17:9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I I think not not.

17:9 Ñaày tôù vaâng lònh maø laøm, thì chuû coù bieát ôn gì noù chaêng?

17:10 So likewise all of you, when all of you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are useless servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

17:10 Caùc ngöôi cuõng vaäy, khi laøm xong vieäc truyeàn phaûi laøm, thì haõy noùi raèng: Chuùng toâi laø ñaày tôù voâ ích; ñieàu chuùng toâi ñaõ laøm laø ñieàu chaéc phaûi laøm.

17:11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

17:11 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, traûi qua bôø coõi xöù Sa-ma-ri vaø Ga-li-leâ.

17:12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood far off:

17:12 Nhaèm khi vaøo laøng kia, coù möôøi ngöôøi phung ñeán ñoùn röôùc Ngaøi, ñöùng ñaèng xa,

17:13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

17:13 leân tieáng raèng: Laïy Jeâsus, laïy Thaày, xin thöông xoùt chuùng toâi cuøng!

17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

17:14 Khi Ngaøi thaáy hoï lieàn phaùn raèng: Haõy ñi, toû mình cuøng thaày teá leã. Hoï ñöông ñi thì phung laønh heát thaûy.

17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

17:15 Coù moät ngöôøi trong boïn hoï thaáy mình ñaõ ñöôïc saïch, beøn trôû laïi, lôùn tieáng khen ngôïi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi;

17:16 laïi ñeán saáp maët xuoáng ñaát, nôi chôn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, maø taï ôn Ngaøi. Vaû, ngöôøi ñoù laø ngöôøi Sa-ma-ri.

17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

17:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Khoâng phaûi möôøi ngöôøi ñeàu ñöôïc saïch caû sao? Coøn chín ngöôøi kia ôû ñaâu?

17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

17:18 Chæ coù ngöôøi ngoaïi quoác naày trôû laïi ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ö!

17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go your way: your faith has made you whole.

17:19 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Ñöùng daäy ñi; ñöùc tin ngöôi ñaõ cöùu ngöôi.

17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation:

17:20 Ngöôøi Pha-ri-si hoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chöøng naøo ñeán, thì Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoâng ñeán caùch roõ raøng,

17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

17:21 vaø ngöôøi ta seõ khoâng noùi: ÔÛ ñaây, hay laø: ÔÛ ñoù; vì naày, nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ôû trong caùc ngöôi.

17:22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when all of you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and all of you shall not see it.

17:22 Ngaøi laïi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Seõ coù kyø caùc ngöôi öôùc ao thaáy chæ moät ngaøy cuûa Con ngöôøi, maø khoâng thaáy ñöôïc.

17:23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

17:23 Ngöôøi ta seõ noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi raèng: Ngaøi ôû ñaây, hay laø: Ngaøi ôû ñoù; nhöng ñöøng ñi, ñöøng theo hoï.

17:24 For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

17:24 Vì nhö chôùp nhaùng loøe töø döôùi phöông trôøi naày ñeán döôùi phöông trôøi kia, thì Con ngöôøi trong ngaøy Ngaøi cuõng nhö vaäy.

17:25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

17:25 Nhöng Ngaøi tröôùc phaûi chòu ñau ñôùn nhieàu, vaø bò doøng doõi naày boû ra.

17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

17:26 Vieäc ñaõ xaûy ñeán trong ñôøi Noâ-eâ, thì cuõng seõ xaûy ñeán trong ngaøy Con ngöôøi:

17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

17:27 ngöôøi ta aên, uoáng, cöôùi, gaû, cho ñeán ngaøy Noâ-eâ vaøo taøu, vaø nöôùc luït ñeán huûy dieät thieân haï heát.

17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;

17:28 Vieäc ñaõ xaûy ra trong ñôøi Loùt cuõng vaäy, ngöôøi ta aên, uoáng, mua, baùn, troàng tæa, caát döïng;

17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

17:29 ñeán naøy Loùt ra khoûi thaønh Soâ-ñoâm, thì trôøi möa löûa vaø dieâm sinh, gieát heát daân thaønh aáy.

17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

17:30 Ngaøy Con ngöôøi hieän ra cuõng moät theå naày.

17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

17:31 Trong ngaøy ñoù, ai ôû treân maùi nhaø, coù cuûa ñeå trong nhaø, ñöøng xuoáng maø chuyeân ñi; ai ôû ngoaøi ñoàng, cuõng ñöøng trôû veà nöõa.

17:32 Remember Lot's wife.

17:32 Haõy nhôù laïi vôï cuûa Loùt.

17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

17:33 Ai kieám caùch cöùu söï soáng mình, thì seõ maát; ai maát söï soáng mình, thì seõ ñöôïc laïi.

17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

17:34 Ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, trong ñeâm ñoù, hai ngöôøi naèm chung giöôøng, moät ngöôøi seõ ñöôïc röôùc ñi, coøn moät bò ñeå laïi.

17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

17:35 Hai ngöôøi ñôøn baø xay chung coái, moät ngöôøi ñöôïc röôùc ñi, coøn moät bò ñeå laïi.

17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

17:36 Hai ngöôøi ôû ngoaøi ñoàng, moät ngöôøi ñöôïc röôùc ñi, coøn moät bò ñeå laïi.

17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where ever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

17:37 Caùc moân ñoà beøn thöa Ngaøi raèng: Thöa Chuùa, söï aáy seõ ôû taïi ñaâu? Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Xaùc cheát ôû ñaâu, chim où nhoùm taïi ñoù.

 Lu ca - Luke

18:1 And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

18:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng moân ñoà moät thí duï, ñeå toû ra raèng phaûi caàu nguyeän luoân, chôù heà moûi meät:

18:2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

18:2 Trong thaønh kia, coù moät quan aùn khoâng kính sôï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khoâng vò neå ai heát.

18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

18:3 Trong thaønh ñoù cuõng coù moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø goùa, ñeán thöa quan raèng: Xin xeùt leõ coâng bình cho toâi veà keû nghòch cuøng toâi.

18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

18:4 Quan aáy töø choái ñaõ laâu. Nhöng keá ñoù, ngöôøi töï nghó raèng: Daàu ta khoâng kính sôï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khoâng vò neå ai heát,

18:5 Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

18:5 song vì ñôøn baø goùa naày khuaáy raày ta, ta seõ xeùt leõ coâng bình cho noù, ñeå noù khoâng tôùi luoân laøm nhöùc ñaàu ta.

18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says.

18:6 Ñoaïn, Chuùa phaùn theâm raèng: Caùc ngöôi coù nghe lôøi quan aùn khoâng coâng bình ñoù ñaõ noùi chaêng?

18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

18:7 Vaäy, coù leõ naøo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaúng xeùt leõ coâng bình cho nhöõng ngöôøi ñaõ ñöôïc choïn, laø keû ñeâm ngaøy keâu xin Ngaøi, maø laïi chaäm chaïp ñeán cöùu hoï sao!

18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?

18:8 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, Ngaøi seõ voäi vaøng xeùt leõ coâng bình cho hoï. Song khi Con ngöôøi ñeán, haù seõ thaáy ñöùc tin treân maët ñaát chaêng?

18:9 And he spoke this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

18:9 Ngaøi laïi phaùn thí duï naày veà keû caäy mình laø ngöôøi coâng bình vaø khinh deå keû khaùc:

18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

18:10 Coù hai ngöôøi leân ñeàn thôø caàu nguyeän: moät ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø moät ngöôøi thaâu thueá.

18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank you, that I am not as other men are, extortionists, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

18:11 Ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñöùng caàu nguyeän thaàm nhö vaày: Laïy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, toâi taï ôn Ngaøi, vì toâi khoâng phaûi nhö ngöôøi khaùc, tham lam, baát nghóa, gian daâm, cuõng khoâng phaûi nhö ngöôøi thaâu thueá naày.

18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

18:12 Toâi kieâng aên moät tuaàn leã hai laàn, vaø noäp moät phaàn möôøi veà moïi moùn lôïi cuûa toâi.

18:13 And the publican, standing far off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but stroke upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

18:13 Ngöôøi thaâu thueá ñöùng xa xa, khoâng daùm ngöôùc maét leân trôøi, ñaám ngöïc maø raèng: Laïy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, xin thöông xoùt laáy toâi, vì toâi laø keû coù toäi!

18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be brought low; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.

18:14 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ngöôøi naày trôû veà nhaø mình, ñöôïc xöng coâng bình hôn ngöôøi kia; vì ai töï nhaéc mình leân seõ phaûi haï xuoáng, ai töï haï mình xuoáng seõ ñöôïc nhaéc leân.

18:15 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

18:15 Ngöôøi ta cuõng ñem con treû ñeán cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, cho ñöôïc Ngaøi rôø ñeán chuùng noù. Moân ñoà thaáy vaäy, traùch nhöõng ngöôøi ñem ñeán.

18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

18:16 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus goïi hoï maø phaùn raèng: haõy ñeå con treû ñeán cuøng ta, ñöøng ngaên caám; vì nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thuoäc veà nhöõng ngöôøi gioáng nhö con treû aáy.

18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

18:17 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ai khoâng nhaän laõnh nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nhö moät ñöùa treû, thì seõ khoâng ñöôïc vaøo ñoù.

18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

18:18 Baáy giôø coù moät quan hoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Thöa thaày nhôn laønh, toâi phaûi laøm gì cho ñöôïc höôûng söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi?

18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why call you me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

18:19 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Sao ngöôi goïi ta laø nhôn laønh? Chæ coù moät Ñaáng nhôn laønh, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

18:20 You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour your father and your mother.

18:20 Ngöôøi ñaõ bieát caùc ñieàu raên naày: Ngöôi chôù phaïm toäi taø daâm; chôù gieát ngöôøi; chôù troäm cöôùp; chôù noùi chöùng doái; haõy hieáu kính cha meï.

18:21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

18:21 Ngöôøi aáy thöa raèng: Toâi ñaõ giöõ caùc ñieàu aáy töø thuôû nhoû.

18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lack you one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unto the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

18:22 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nghe vaäy, beøn phaùn raèng: Coøn thieáu cho ngöôi moät ñieàu; haõy baùn heát gia taøi mình, phaân phaùt cho keû ngheøo, thì ngöôi seõ coù cuûa caûi ôû treân trôøi; baáy giôø haõy ñeán maø theo ta.

18:23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

18:23 Nhöng ngöôøi aáy nghe maáy lôøi thì trôû neân buoàn raàu, vì giaøu coù laém.

18:24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

18:24 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy ngöôøi buoàn raàu, beøn phaùn raèng: Keû giaøu vaøo nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø khoù döôøng naøo!

18:25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

18:25 Laïc ñaø chui qua loã kim coøn deã hôn ngöôøi giaøu vaøo nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi!

18:26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

18:26 Nhöõng ngöôøi nghe ñieàu ñoù, noùi raèng: Vaäy thì ai ñöôïc cöùu?

18:27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

18:27 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Söï chi ngöôøi ta khoâng laøm ñöôïc, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm ñöôïc.

18:28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed you.

18:28 Phi -e-rô beøn thöa raèng: naày chuùng toâi ñaõ boû söï mình coù maø theo thaày.

18:29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,

18:29 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ngöôøi naøo vì côù nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø boû cha meï, anh em, vôï con,

18:30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

18:30 thì trong ñôøi naày ñöôïc laõnh nhieàu hôn, vaø ñôøi sau ñöôïc söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi.

18:31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

18:31 Keá ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñem möôøi hai söù ñoà rieâng ra maø phaùn raèng: Naày, chuùng ta leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, moïi ñieàu maø caùc ñaáng tieân tri ñaõ cheùp veà Con ngöôøi seõ öùng nghieäm.

18:32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully pleaded, and spitted on:

18:32 Vì Ngaøi seõ bò noäp cho daân ngoaïi; hoï seõ nhaïo baùng Ngaøi, maéng nhieác Ngaøi, nhoå treân Ngaøi,

18:33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

18:33 sau khi ñaùnh ñoøn roài, thì gieát Ngaøi ñi; ñeán ngaøy thöù ba, Ngaøi seõ soáng laïi.

18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying (o. rhema) was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

18:34 Song caùc moân ñoà khoâng hieåu chi heát; vì nghóa nhöõng lôøi ñoù kín giaáu cho moân ñoà neân khoâng roõ yù Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus noùi laø gì.

18:35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

18:35 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán gaàn thaønh Gieâ-ri-coâ, coù moät ngöôøi ñui ngoài xin ôû beân ñöôøng,

18:36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

18:36 nghe ñoaøn daân ñi qua, beøn hoûi vieäc gì ñoù.

18:37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passes by.

18:37 Ngöôøi ta traû lôøi raèng: Aáy laø Jeâsus, ngöôøi Na-xa-reùt ñi qua.

18:38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me.

18:38 Ngöôøi ñui beøn keâu leân raèng: Laïy Jeâsus, con vua Ña-vít, xin thöông xoùt toâi cuøng!

18:39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, You son of David, have mercy on me.

18:39 Nhöõng keû ñi tröôùc raày ngöôøi cho nín ñi; song ngöôøi caøng keâu lôùn hôn nöõa raèng: Laïy con vua Ña-vít, xin thöông xoùt toâi cuøng!

18:40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

18:40 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus döøng laïi, truyeàn ñem ngöôøi ñeán. Khi ngöôøi ñui laïi gaàn, thì Ngaøi hoûi raèng:

18:41 Saying, What will you that I shall do unto you? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

18:41 Ngöôi muoán ta laøm gì cho? Thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin cho toâi ñöôïc saùng maét laïi.

18:42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive your sight: your faith has saved you.

18:42 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy saùng maét laïi; ñöùc tin cuûa ngöôi ñaõ chöõa laønh ngöôi.

18:43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

18:43 Töùc thì, ngöôøi saùng maét, ñi theo Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Heát thaûy daân chuùng thaáy vaäy, ñeàu ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

 Lu ca - Luke

19:1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

19:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo thaønh Gieâ-ri-coâ, ñi ngang qua phoá.

19:2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

19:2 Taïi ñoù, coù moät ngöôøi teân laø Xa-cheâ, laøm ñaàu boïn thaâu thueá, vaø giaøu coù.

19:3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

19:3 Ngöôøi ñoù tìm xem Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laø ai, nhöng khoâng thaáy ñöôïc, vì ñoaøn daân ñoâng laém, maø mình laïi thaáp.

19:4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

19:4 Vaäy, Xa-cheâ chaïy tröôùc, treøo leân caây sung, ñeå ngoù thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, vì Ngaøi phaûi ñi qua ñoù.

19:5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; in order to day I must abide at your house.

19:5 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán choã aáy, ngöôùc maét leân maø phaùn raèng: Hôõi Xa-cheâ, haõy xuoáng cho mau, vì hoâm nay ta phaûi ôû nhaø ngöôi.

19:6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

19:6 Xa-cheâ voäi vaøng xuoáng vaø möøng röôùc Ngaøi.

19:7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

19:7 Ai naáy thaáy vaäy, ñeàu laèm baèm raèng: Ngöôøi naày vaøo nhaø keû coù toäi maø troï!

19:8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

19:8 Song Xa-cheâ ñöùng tröôùc maët Chuùa, thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, naày, toâi laáy nöûa gia taøi mình maø cho keû ngheøo, vaø neáu coù laøm thieät haïi ai, baát kyø vieäc gì, toâi seõ ñeàn gaáp tö.

19:9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

19:9 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn raèng: Hoâm nay söï cöùu ñaõ vaøo nhaø naày, vì ngöôøi naày cuõng laø con chaùu Aùp-ra-ham.

19:10 For the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

19:10 Bôûi Con ngöôøi ñaõ ñeán tìm vaø cöùu keû bò maát.

19:11 And as they heard these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

19:11 Hoï nghe nhöõng lôøi aáy, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus theâm moät thí duï nöõa, vì Ngaøi gaàn ñeán thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø ngöôøi ta töôûng raèng nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi seõ hieän ra ngay.

19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

19:12 Vaäy, Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Coù moät vò theá töû ñi phöông xa, ñaëng chòu phong chöùc laøm vua roài trôû veà;

19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

19:13 beøn goïi möôøi ngöôøi trong ñaùm ñaày tôù mình, giao cho möôøi neùn baïc, vaø daïy raèng: Haõy duøng baïc naày sanh lôøi cho ñeán khi ta trôû veà.

19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

19:14 Song daân xöù aáy gheùt ngöôøi, thì sai söù theo ñaëng noùi raèng: Chuùng toâi khoâng muoán ngöôøi naày cai trò chuùng toâi!

19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

19:15 Khi ngöôøi ñaõ chòu phong chöùc laøm vua roài, trôû veà, ñoøi caùc ñaày tôù ñaõ laõnh baïc ñeán, ñaëng cho bieát moãi ngöôøi laøm lôïi ñöôïc bao nhieâu.

19:16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, your pound has gained ten pounds.

19:16 Ñaày tôù thöù nhöùt ñeán trình raèng: Laïy Chuùa, neùn baïn cuûa chuùa sanh lôïi ñöôïc möôøi neùn.

19:17 And he said unto him, Well, you good servant: because you have been faithful in a very little, have you authority over ten cities.

19:17 Chuû raèng: Hôõi ñaày tôù ngay laønh kia, ñöôïc laém; vì ngöôi trung tín trong söï nhoû moïn, ngöôi seõ ñöôïc cai trò möôøi thaønh.

19:18 And the second came, saying, Lord, your pound has gained five pounds.

19:18 Ngöôøi thöù hai ñeán thöa raèng: Laïy chuùa, neùn baïc cuûa Chuùa sanh lôïi ra ñöôïc naêm neùn.

19:19 And he said likewise to him, Be you also over five cities.

19:19 Chuû raèng: Ngöôi ñöôïc cai trò naêm thaønh.

19:20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is your pound, which I have kept laid up in a cloth:

19:20 Ngöôøi khaùc ñeán thöa raèng: Laïy chuùa, ñaây naày, neùn baïc cuûa chuùa toâi ñaõ goùi giöõ trong khaên;

19:21 For I feared you, because you are an austere man: you take up that you layed not down, and reap that you did not sow.

19:21 bôûi toâi sôï chuùa, vì chuùa laø ngöôøi nghieâm nhaët, hay laáy trong nôi khoâng ñeå, gaët trong choã khoâng gieo.

19:22 And he says unto him, Out of yours own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

19:22 Chuû raèng: Hôõi ñaày tôù ngoan aùc kia, ta cöù lôøi ngöôi noùi ra maø xeùt ngöôi. Ngöôi bieát ta laø ngöôøi nghieâm nhaët, hay laáy trong choã khoâng ñeå, gaët trong choã khoâng gieo;

19:23 Wherefore then gave not you my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with interest?

19:23 côù sao ngöôi khoâng giao baïc ta cho haøng baïc? Khi ta veà, seõ laáy laïi voán vaø lôøi.

19:24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that has ten pounds.

19:24 Chuû laïi noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi ñöùng ñoù raèng: Haõy laáy neùn baïc noù ñi, cho ngöôøi coù möôøi neùn.

19:25 (And they said unto him, Lord, he has ten pounds.)

19:25 Hoï beøn thöa raèng: Laïy chuùa, ngöôøi aáy coù möôøi neùn roài.

19:26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which has shall be given; and from him that has not, even that he has shall be taken away from him.

19:26 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ai coù, thì seõ cho theâm; song ai khoâng coù, thì seõ caát luoân cuûa hoï ñaõ coù nöõa.

19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring here, and slay them before me.

19:27 Coøn nhö nhöõng keû nghòch cuøng ta, khoâng muoán ta cai trò hoï, haõy keùo hoï ñeán ñaây, vaø cheùm ñi tröôùc maët ta.

19:28 And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.

19:28 Sau khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn ñieàu ñoù, thì ñi tröôùc maët daân chuùng leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

19:29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

19:29 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus gaàn ñeán thaønh Beâ-pha-gieâ vaø Beâ-tha-ni, ngang nuùi goïi laø oâ-li-ve, sai hai moân ñoà ñi,

19:30 Saying, Go all of you into the village opposite to you; in the which at your entering all of you shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him here.

19:30 vaø daën raèng: Haõy ñi ñeán laøng tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi; khi vaøo laøng, seõ thaáy moät löøa con buoäc ñoù, chöa heà coù ai côõi; haõy môû vaø daét veà cho ta.

19:31 And if any man ask you, Why do all of you loose him? thus shall all of you say unto him, Because the Lord has need of him.

19:31 Hoaëc coù ai hoûi sao caùc ngöôi môû noù ra, haõy traû lôøi raèng: Chuùa caàn duøng löøa naày.

19:32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.

19:32 Hai ngöôøi ñöôïc sai ra ñi, quaû gaëp moïi ñieàu y nhö Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ phaùn.

19:33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose all of you the colt?

19:33 Ñang môû löøa con, caùc chuû löøa hoûi raèng: Sao môû löøa con naày ra:

19:34 And they said, The Lord has need of him.

19:34 Hai ngöôøi traû lôøi raèng: Chuùa caàn duøng noù.

19:35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.

19:35 Hai ngöôøi beøn daét löøa veà cho Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus; roài laáy aùo mình traûi treân con löøa, naâng Ngaøi leân côõi.

19:36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.

19:36 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñang ñi tôùi, coù nhieàu keû traûi aùo treân ñöôøng.

19:37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

19:37 Luùc ñeán gaàn doác nuùi oâ-li-ve, caû ñaùm moân ñoà laáy laøm möøng rôõ, vaø caû tieáng ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi veà nhöõng pheùp laï mình ñaõ thaáy,

19:38 Saying, Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

19:38 maø noùi raèng: Ñaùng ngôïi khen Vua nhôn danh Chuùa maø ñeán! Bình an ôû treân trôøi, vaø vinh hieån treân caùc nôi raát cao!

19:39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke your disciples.

19:39 Baáy giôø, coù maáy ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ôû trong ñaùm daân ñoâng noùi cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Thöa thaày, xin quôû traùch moân ñoà thaày!

19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

19:40 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu hoï nín laëng thì ñaù seõ keâu leân.

19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,

19:41 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus gaàn ñeán thaønh, thaáy thì khoùc veà thaønh, vaø phaùn raèng:

19:42 Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace! but now they are hid from yours eyes.

19:42 Öôùc gì, ít nöõa ngaøy nay, maày ñaõ hieåu bieát söï laøm cho maày ñöôïc bình an! Song hieän nay nhöõng söï aáy kín giaáu nôi maét maày.

19:43 For the days shall come upon you, that yours enemies shall cast a trench about you, and compass you round, and keep you in on every side,

19:43 Vì seõ coù ngaøy xaûy ñeán cho maày, khi quaân nghòch ñaøo hoá xung quanh maày, vaây maày chaët boán beà.

19:44 And shall lay you even with the ground, and your children within you; and they shall not leave in you one stone upon another; because you knew not the time of your visitation.

19:44 Hoï seõ huûy heát thaûy, maày vaø con caùi ôû giöõa maày nöõa. Khoâng ñeå cho maày hoøn ñaù naày treân hoøn ñaù kia, vì maày khoâng bieát luùc mình ñaõ ñöôïc thaêm vieáng.

19:45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

19:45 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo ñeàn thôø roài, beøn ñuoåi nhöõng keû baùn ôû ñoù ra,

19:46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but all of you have made it a den of thieves.

19:46 maø phaùn raèng: Coù lôøi cheùp raèng: Nhaø ta seõ laø nhaø caàu nguyeän; song caùc ngöôi laøm thaønh ra moät caùi hang troäm cöôùp.

19:47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

19:47 Haèng ngaøy Ngaøi giaûng daïy trong ñeàn thôø. Caùc thaày teá leã caû, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo, cuøng ngöôøi toân tröôûng trong daân tìm phöông gieát Ngaøi;

19:48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

19:48 nhöng hoï khoâng bieát duøng chöôùc chi, vì daân söï ñeàu chaêm chæ maø nghe Ngaøi noùi.

 Lu ca - Luke

20:1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

20:1 Moät ngaøy trong nhöõng ngaøy ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông daïy doã daân chuùng trong ñeàn thôø vaø rao truyeàn Tin Laønh, thì caùc thaày teá leã caû, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo, vaø caùc tröôûng laõo ñeán thình lình,

20:2 And spoke unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority do you these things? or who is he that gave you this authority?

20:2 hoûi Ngaøi nhö vaày: Haõy noùi cho chuùng toâi, bôûi quyeàn pheùp naøo maø thaày laøm nhöõng ñieàu naày, hay laø ai ñaõ ban cho thaày quyeàn pheùp aáy?

20:3 And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; (o. logos) and answer me:

20:3 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Ta cuõng hoûi caùc ngöôi moät caâu. Haõy noùi cho ta:

20:4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

20:4 Pheùp baùp-tem cuûa Giaêng ñeán bôûi treân trôøi, hay laø bôûi ngöôøi ta?

20:5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed all of you him not?

20:5 Vaû, nhöõng ngöôøi aáy baøn cuøng nhau raèng: Neáu chuùng ta noùi: Bôûi trôøi, thì ngöôøi seõ noùi vôùi ta raèng: Vaäy sao caùc ngöôi khoâng tin lôøi ngöôøi?

20:6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

20:6 Laïi neáu chuùng ta noùi: Bôûi ngöôøi ta, thì caùc daân söï seõ neùm ñaù chuùng ta; vì hoï ñaõ tin chaéc Giaêng laø moät ñaáng tieân tri.

20:7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.

20:7 Vaäy neân hoï traû lôøi raèng khoâng bieát pheùp aáy bôûi ñaâu maø ñeán.

20:8 And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

20:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn raèng: Ta cuõng khoâng noùi cho caùc ngöôi bôûi quyeàn pheùp naøo ta laøm nhöõng ñieàu naày.

20:9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.

20:9 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng daân chuùng lôøi thí duï naày: Ngöôøi kia troàng moät vöôøn nho, ñaõ cho keû troàng nho möôùn, roài boû xöù ñi laâu ngaøy.

20:10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.

20:10 Ñeán muøa nho, chuû sai moät ñaày tôù tôùi cuøng nhöõng keû troàng nho ñaëng nhaän moät phaàn hoa lôïi; song boïn troàng nho ñaùnh ñaày tôù, ñuoåi veà tay khoâng.

20:11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and pleaded him shamefully, and sent him away empty.

20:11 Chuû laïi sai moät ñaày tôù khaùc nöõa; song hoï cuõng ñaùnh, chöôûi, vaø ñuoåi veà tay khoâng.

20:12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.

20:12 Chuû laïi sai ñaày tôù thöù ba; song hoï cuõng ñaùnh cho bò thöông vaø ñuoåi ñi.

20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

20:13 Chuû vöôøn nho beøn noùi raèng: Ta laøm theå naøo? Ta seõ sai con trai yeâu daáu ta ñeán; coù leõ chuùng noù seõ kính neå!

20:14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

20:14 Song khi boïn troàng nho thaáy con trai aáy, thì baøn vôùi nhau nhö vaày: Kìa, aáy laø con keá töï; haõy gieát noù, haàu cho gia taøi noù seõ veà chuùng ta.

20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

20:15 Hoï beøn lieäng con trai aáy ra ngoaøi vöôøn nho, vaø gieát ñi. Vaäy chuû vöôøn seõ xöû hoï laøm sao?

20:16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

20:16 Chuû aáy chaéc seõ ñeán dieät nhöõng keû troàng nho naày, roài laáy vöôøn giao cho ngöôøi khaùc. Ai naáy nghe nhöõng lôøi ñoù, thì noùi raèng: Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi naøo nôõ vaäy!

20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

20:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn ngoù hoï maø raèng: Vaäy thì lôøi cheùp: Hoøn ñaù thôï xaây nhaø boû ra, Trôû neân ñaù goùc nhaø, nghóa laø gì?

20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

20:18 Heã ai ngaõ nhaèm ñaù naày, thì seõ bò giaäp naùt, coøn ñaù naày ngaõ nhaèm ai, thì seõ giaäp ngöôøi aáy.

20:19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

20:19 Chính giôø ñoù, caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo tìm caùch gieát Ngaøi, vì hieåu Ngaøi phaùn thí duï aáy chæ veà mình; nhöng laïi sôï daân chuùng.

20:20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, (o. logos) that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

20:20 Hoï beøn doøm haønh Ngaøi, sai maáy keû do thaùm giaû laøm ngöôøi hieàn laønh, ñeå baét beû Ngaøi trong lôøi noùi, haàu ñeå noäp Ngaøi cho keû caàm quyeàn vaø trong tay quan toång ñoác.

20:21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that you says and teach rightly, neither accept you the person of any, but teach the way of God truly:

20:21 Nhöõng ngöôøi ñoù hoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caâu naày: Thöa thaày, chuùng toâi bieát thaày noùi vaø daïy doã theo leõ ngay thaúng, khoâng taây vò ai, laáy leõ thaät maø daïy ñaïo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

20:22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?

20:22 Chuùng toâi coù neân noäp thueá cho Seâ-sa hay khoâng?

20:23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt all of you me?

20:23 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát möu hoï, thì ñaùp raèng:

20:24 Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription has it? They answered and said, Caesar's.

20:24 Haõy cho ta xem moät ñô-ni-eâ. Ñô-ni-eâ naày mang hình vaø hieäu cuûa ai? Hoï thöa raèng: Cuûa Seâ-sa.

20:25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.

20:25 Ngaøi beøn phaùn raèng: Vaäy thì cuûa Seâ-sa haõy traû laïi cho Seâ-sa, cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haõy traû laïi cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

20:26 And they could not take hold of his words (o. rhema) before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.

20:26 Tröôùc maët daân chuùng, hoï khoâng baét loãi lôøi Ngaøi phaùn chi ñöôïc; vaø laáy lôøi ñaùp cuûa Ngaøi laøm laï, thì nín laëng.

20:27 Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,

20:27 Coù maáy ngöôøi Sa-ñu-seâ, laø ngöôøi vaãn quyeát raèng khoâng coù söï soáng laïi, ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, maø hoûi raèng:

20:28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

20:28 Thöa thaày, Moâi-se ñaõ truyeàn laïi luaät naày cho chuùng toâi: Neáu ngöôøi kia coù anh, cöôùi vôï roài cheát, khoâng con, thì ngöôøi phaûi cöôùi laáy vôï goùa ñoù ñeå noái doøng cho anh mình.

20:29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.

20:29 Vaäy, coù baûy anh em. Ngöôøi thöù nhöùt cöôùi vôï, roài cheát, khoâng con.

20:30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.

20:30 Ngöôøi thöù hai cuõng laáy vôï ñoù,

20:31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.

20:31 roài ñeán ngöôøi thöù ba; heát thaûy baûy ngöôøi cuõng vaäy, ñeàu cheát ñi khoâng coù con.

20:32 Last of all the woman died also.

20:32 Roát laïi, ngöôøi ñôøn baø cuõng cheát.

20:33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.

20:33 Vaäy thì ñeán ngaøy soáng laïi, ñôøn baø ñoù seõ laø vôï ai? vì baûy ngöôøi ñeàu ñaõ laáy laøm vôï.

20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

20:34 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Con caùi cuûa ñôøi naày laáy vôï gaû choàng;

20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

20:35 song nhöõng keû ñaõ ñöôïc keå ñaùng döï phaàn ñôøi sau vaø ñaùng töø keû cheát soáng laïi, thì khoâng laáy vôï gaû choàng.

20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

20:36 Bôûi hoï seõ khoâng cheát ñöôïc nöõa, vì gioáng nhö caùc thieân söù, vaø laø con cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, töùc laø con cuûa söï soáng laïi.

20:37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calls the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

20:37 Coøn veà söï keû cheát soáng laïi, Moâi-se ñaõ cho bieát trong caâu chuyeän veà Buïi gai, khi ngöôøi goïi Chuùa laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-saùc vaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Gia-coáp.

20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

20:38 Vaäy, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoâng phaûi laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa keû cheát, nhöng cuûa keû soáng; vì ai naáy ñeàu soáng cho Ngaøi.

20:39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, you have well said.

20:39 Coù maáy thaày thoâng giaùo caát tieáng thöa Ngaøi raèng: Laïy thaày, thaày noùi phaûi laém.

20:40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.

20:40 Hoï khoâng daùm hoûi Ngaøi caâu naøo nöõa.

20:41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?

20:41 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hoûi hoï raèng: Laøm sao ngöôøi ta noùi ñöôïc raèng Ñaáng Christ laø con vua Ña-vít?

20:42 And David himself says in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand,

20:42 vì chính vua Ña-vít ñaõ noùi trong saùch Thi thieân raèng: Chuùa phaùn cuøng Chuùa toâi raèng: Haõy ngoài beân höõu ta,

20:43 Till I make yours enemies your footstool.

20:43 Cho ñeán khi ta baét keû nghòch ngöôi laøm beä chôn ngöôi.

20:44 David therefore calls him Lord, how is he then his son?

20:44 Vaäy, vua Ña-vít goïi Ngaøi baèng Chuùa; coù leõ naøo Ngaøi laø con vua aáy ñöôïc?

20:45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,

20:45 Khi daân chuùng ñöông nghe, thì Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng:

20:46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

20:46 Haõy giöõ mình veà caùc thaày thoâng giaùo, laø ngöôøi öa maëc aùo daøi ñi daïo, vaø thích nhöõng söï chaøo hoûi giöõa chôï, muoán ngoâi cao trong nhaø hoäi, ngoài ñaàu trong tieäc lôùn,

20:47 Which devour widows' houses, and for a show make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

20:47 laøm boä ñoïc lôøi caàu nguyeän daøi, maø nuoát gia taøi cuûa ñôøn baø goùa. Hoï seõ bò ñoaùn phaït naëng hôn.

 Lu ca - Luke

21:1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.

21:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vöøa ngoù leân, thaáy nhöõng keû giaøu boû tieàn leã vaøo röông,

21:2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

21:2 laïi thaáy moät muï goùa ngheøo boû vaøo hai ñoàng tieàn.

21:3 And he said, Truthfully I say unto you, that this poor widow has cast in more than they all:

21:3 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, muï goùa ngheøo naày ñaõ boû vaøo nhieàu hôn heát moïi ngöôøi khaùc.

21:4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her destitution has cast in all the living that she had.

21:4 Vì moïi ngöôøi kia ñeàu laáy cuûa dö mình maø laøm cuûa daâng; nhöng muï naày thieáu thoán, maø ñaõ daâng heát cuûa mình coù ñeå nuoâi mình.

21:5 And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

21:5 Coù maáy ngöôøi noùi veà ñeàn thôø, veà ñaù ñeïp vaø ñoà daâng laøm röïc rôõ trong ñeàn thôø. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng:

21:6 As for these things which all of you behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

21:6 Nhöõng ngaøy seõ ñeán, moïi ñieàu caùc ngöôi ngoù thaáy ñaây, seõ khoâng coøn moät hoøn ñaù naøo choàng treân hoøn khaùc maø khoâng ñoå xuoáng.

21:7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

21:7 Hoï beøn hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Laïy thaày, vaäy vieäc ñoù chöøng naøo seõ xaûy ñeán, vaø coù ñieàm gì cho ngöôøi ta bieát raèng vieäc gaàn xaûy ñeán khoâng?

21:8 And he said, Take heed that all of you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go all of you not therefore after them.

21:8 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Caùc ngöôi haõy giöõ, keûo bò caùm doã; vì coù nhieàu ngöôøi seõ maïo danh ta maø ñeán, vaø noùi raèng: Aáy chính ta laø Ñaáng Christ, thì giôø ñaõ ñeán gaàn. Caùc ngöôi ñöøng theo hoï.

21:9 But when all of you shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

21:9 Laïi khi caùc ngöôi nghe noùi veà giaëc giaõ loaïn laïc, thì ñöøng kinh khieáp, vì caùc ñieàu ñoù phaûi ñeán tröôùc; nhöng chöa phaûi cuoái cuøng lieàn ñaâu.

21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

21:10 Ngaøi cuõng phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Daân naày seõ daáy leân nghòch cuøng daân khaùc, nöôùc noù nghòch cuøng nöôùc kia;

21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

21:11 seõ coù söï ñoäng ñaát lôùn, coù ñoùi keùm vaø dòch leä trong nhieàu nôi, coù nhöõng ñieàm laï kinh khieáp vaø daáu lôùn ôû treân trôøi.

21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

21:12 Song tröôùc nhöõng ñieàu ñoù thieân haï seõ vì côù danh ta maø tra tay baét bôù caùc ngöôi, noäp taïi caùc nhaø hoäi, boû vaøo nguïc, keùo ñeán tröôùc maët caùc vua vaø caùc quan toång ñoác.

21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

21:13 Ñeàu aáy xaûy ra cho caùc ngöôi ñeå laøm chöùng côù.

21:14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what all of you shall answer:

21:14 Vaäy caùc ngöôi haõy nhôù kó trong trí, ñöøng lo tröôùc veà söï binh vöïc mình theå naøo.

21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

21:15 Vì ta seõ ban cho caùc ngöôi lôøi leõ vaø söï khoân ngoan, maø keû nghòch khoâng choáng cöï vaø beû baùc ñöôïc.

21:16 And all of you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

21:16 Caùc ngöôi cuõng seõ bò cha, meï, anh, em, baø con, baïn höõu mình noäp mình; vaø hoï seõ laøm cho nhieàu ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi phaûi cheát.

21:17 And all of you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

21:17 Caùc ngöôi seõ vì côù danh ta bò moïi ngöôøi ghen gheùt.

21:18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

21:18 Nhöng moät sôïi toùc treân ñaàu caùc ngöôi cuõng khoâng maát ñaâu.

21:19 In your patience possess all of you your souls.

21:19 Nhôø söï nhòn nhuïc cuûa caùc ngöôi maø giöõ ñöôïc linh hoàn mình.

21:20 And when all of you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21:20 Vaû, khi caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy quaân lính vaây thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, haõy bieát söï taøn phaù thaønh aáy gaàn ñeán.

21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter therein.

21:21 Luùc ñoù, ai ôû trong xöù Giu-ñeâ haõy troán leân nuùi; ai ôû trong thaønh phaûi ñi ra ngoaøi, ai ôû ngoaøi ñoàng ñöøng trôû vaøo thaønh.

21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

21:22 Vì nhöõng ngaøy ñoù laø ngaøy baùo thuø, haàu cho moïi lôøi ñaõ cheùp ñöôïc öùng nghieäm.

21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

21:24 Hoï seõ bò ngaõ döôùi löôõi göôm, seõ bò ñem ñi laøm phu tuø giöõa caùc daân ngoaïi, thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem seõ bò daân ngoaïi giaøy ñaïp, cho ñeán chöøng naøo caùc kyø daân ngoaïi ñöôïc troïn.

21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

21:25 Seõ coù caùc ñieàm laï trong maët trôøi, maët traêng, cuøng caùc ngoâi sao; coøn döôùi ñaát, daân caùc nöôùc saàu naõo roái loaïn vì bieån noåi tieáng om soøm vaø soùng ñaøo.

21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

21:26 Ngöôøi ta nhôn trong khi ñôïi vieäc hung döõ xaûy ra cho theá gian, thì thaát kinh maát vía, vì caùc theá löïc treân trôøi seõ ruùng ñoäng.

21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

21:27 Baáy giôø thieân haï seõ thaáy Con ngöôøi duøng ñaïi quyeàn ñaïi vinh maø ngöï ñeán treân ñaùm maây.

21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh.

21:28 Chöøng naøo caùc vieäc ñoù khoûi xaûy ñeán, haõy ñöùng thaúng leân, ngöôùc ñaàu leân, vì söï giaûi cöùu cuûa caùc ngöôi gaàn tôùi.

21:29 And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

21:29 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng hoï moät lôøi ví duï raèng: Haõy xem caây vaû vaø caùc caây khaùc;

21:30 When they now shoot forth, all of you see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

21:30 khi noù môùi nöùt loäc, caùc ngöôi thaáy thì töï bieát raèng muøa haï ñaõ gaàn ñeán.

21:31 So likewise all of you, when all of you see these things come to pass, know all of you that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

21:31 Cuõng vaäy, khi caùc ngöôi thaáy nhöõng ñieàu aáy xaûy ra, haõy bieát nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi gaàn ñeán.

21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

21:32 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, doøng doõi naày chaúng qua tröôùc khi moïi söï kia chöa xaûy ñeán.

21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words (o. logos) shall not pass away.

21:33 Trôøi ñaát seõ qua, song lôøi ta noùi seõ khoâng qua ñaâu.

21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with worldly excess, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unexpectedly.

21:34 Vaäy, haõy töï giöõ laáy mình, e raèng vì söï aên uoáng quaù ñoä, söï say söa vaø söï lo laéng ñôøi naày laøm cho loøng caùc ngöôi meâ maån chaêng, vaø e ngaøy aáy ñeán thình lình treân caùc ngöôi nhö löôùi buûa;

21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

21:35 vì ngaøy ñoù seõ ñeán cho moïi ngöôøi ôû khaép treân maët ñaát cuõng vaäy.

21:36 Watch all of you therefore, and pray always, that all of you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

21:36 Vaäy, haõy tænh thöùc luoân vaø caàu nguyeän, ñeå caùc ngöôi ñöôïc traùnh khoûi caùc taïi naïn seõ xaûy ra, vaø ñöùng tröôùc maët Con ngöôøi.

21:37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

21:37 Vaû, ban ngaøy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus daïy doã trong ñeàn thôø; coøn ñeán chieàu, Ngaøi ñi leân nuùi, goïi laø nuùi oâ-li-ve, maø ôû ñeâm taïi ñoù.

21:38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, in order to hear him.

21:38 Vöøa taûng saùng, caû daân söï ñeán cuøng Ngaøi trong ñeàn thôø, ñaëng nghe Ngaøi daïy.

 Lu ca - Luke

22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

22:1 Ngaøy leã aên baùnh khoâng men thöù laø leã Vöôït Qua ñeán gaàn.

22:2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

22:2 Caùc thaày teá leã caû cuøng caùc thaày thoâng giaùo tìm phöông ñaëng gieát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus; vì hoï sôï daân.

22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

22:3 Vaû, quæ Sa-tan aùm vaøo Giu-ña, goïi laø Ích-ca-ri-oát, laø ngöôøi trong soá möôøi hai söù ñoà,

22:4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

22:4 noù ñi kieám caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc thaày ñoäi, ñeå ñoàng möu duøng caùch naøo noäp Ngaøi cho hoï.

22:5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

22:5 Caùc ngöôøi kia möøng laém, höùa seõ cho noù tieàn baïc.

22:6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

22:6 Noù ñaõ öng thuaän vôùi hoï, beøn kieám dòp tieän ñaëng noäp Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus trong khi daân chuùng khoâng bieát.

22:7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

22:7 Ñeán ngaøy leã aên baùnh khoâng men, laø ngaøy ngöôøi ta phaûi gieát con sinh laøm leã Vöôït Qua,

22:8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

22:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus sai Phi -e-rô vaø Giaêng ñi, maø phaùn raèng: Haõy ñi doïn leã Vöôït Qua cho chuùng ta aên.

22:9 And they said unto him, Where will you that we prepare?

22:9 Hai ngöôøi trong: Thaày muoán chuùng toâi doïn leã aáy taïi ñaâu?

22:10 And he said unto them, Behold, when all of you are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he enters in.

22:10 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Khi caùc ngöôi vaøo thaønh, seõ gaëp moät ngöôøi mang voø nöôùc; haõy theo ngöôøi vaøo nhaø.

22:11 And all of you shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master says unto you, Where is the guest room, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

22:11 vaø noùi cuøng chuû nhaø raèng: Thaày phaùn cuøng ngöôi raèng: Phoøng khaùch laø choã ta seõ aên leã Vöôït Qua vôùi moân ñoà ta ôû ñaâu?

22:12 And he shall show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

22:12 Chuû nhaø seõ chæ cho moät caùi phoøng roäng vaø cao, ñoà ñaïc saün saøng; caùc ngöôi haõy doïn ôû ñoù.

22:13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

22:13 Hai moân ñoà ñi, quaû gaëp nhöõng ñeàu nhö Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn, beøn doïn leã Vöôït Qua.

22:14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

22:14 Ñeán giôø, Ngaøi ngoài baøn aên, caùc söù ñoà cuøng ngoài vôùi Ngaøi.

22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

22:15 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Ta raát muoán aên leã Vöôït Qua naày vôùi caùc ngöôi tröôùc khi ta chòu ñau ñôùn.

22:16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

22:16 Vì, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ta seõ khoâng aên leã naày nöõa cho ñeán khi leã aáy ñöôïc troïn trong nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

22:17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

22:17 Ngaøi beøn caàm cheùn, taï ôn, roài phaùn raèng: Haõy laáy caùi naày phaân phaùt cho nhau.

22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

22:18 Vì, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, töø nay ta seõ khoâng uoáng traùi nho nöõa, cho tôùi khi nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñeán roài.

22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

22:19 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi caàm laáy baùnh, taï ôn xong, beû ra phaân phaùt cho moân ñoà, maø phaùn raèng: Naày laø thaân theå ta, ñaõ vì caùc ngöôi maø phoù cho; haõy laøm söï naày ñeå nhôù ñeán ta.

22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

22:20 Khi aên xong, Ngaøi cuõng laøm nhö vaäy, laáy cheùn ñöa cho moân ñoà, maø phaùn raèng: Cheùn naày laø giao öôùc môùi trong huyeát ta vì caùc ngöôi maø ñoå ra.

22:21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrays me is with me on the table.

22:21 Vaû laïi, naày, baøn tay keû phaûn ta ôû gaàn ta, nôi baøn naày.

22:22 And truly the Son of man goes, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

22:22 Con ngöôøi ñi, theo nhö ñieàu ñaõ chæ ñònh; nhöng khoán cho ngöôøi naày phaûn Ngaøi!

22:23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

22:23 Moân ñoà beøn hoûi nhau trong boïn mình ai laø ngöôøi seõ laøm ñieàu ñoù.

22:24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

22:24 Moân ñoà laïi caõi laãy nhau, cho bieát ai seõ ñöôïc toân laø lôùn hôn heát trong ñaùm mình.

22:25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

22:25 Nhöng Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Caùc vua cuûa caùc daân ngoaïi laáy pheùp rieâng mình maø cai trò, nhöõng ngöôøi caàm quyeàn cai trò ñöôïc xöng laø ngöôøi laøm ôn.

22:26 But all of you shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that does serve.

22:26 Veà phaàn caùc ngöôi, ñöøng laøm nhö vaäy; song ai lôùn hôn trong caùc ngöôi phaûi nhö keû raát nhoû, vaø ai cai trò phaûi nhö keû haàu vieäc.

22:27 For whether is greater, he that sits at food, or he that serves? is not he that sits at food? but I am among you as he that serves.

22:27 Vì moät ngöôøi ngoài aên vôùi moät ngöôøi haàu vieäc, ai laø lôùn hôn? Coù phaûi laø keû ngoài aên khoâng? Nhöng ta ôû giöõa caùc ngöôi nhö keû haàu vieäc vaäy.

22:28 All of you are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

22:28 Coøn nhö caùc ngöôi, ñaõ beàn loøng theo ta trong moïi söï thöû thaùch ta,

22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father has appointed unto me;

22:29 neân ta ban nöôùc cho caùc ngöôi, cuõng nhö Cha ta ñaõ ban cho ta vaäy,

22:30 That all of you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

22:30 ñeå caùc ngöôi ñöôïc aên uoáng chung baøn trong nöôùc ta, vaø ñöôïc ngoài ngai ñeå xeùt ñoaùn möôøi hai chi phaùi Y-sô-ra-eân.

22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

22:31 Hôõi Si-moân, Si-moân, naày quæ Sa-tan ñaõ ñoøi saøng saûy ngöôi nhö luùa mì.

22:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and when you are converted, strengthen your brethren.

22:32 Song ta ñaõ caàu nguyeän cho ngöôi, haàu cho ñöùc tin ngöôi khoâng thieáu thoán. Vaäy, ñeán khi ngöôi ñaõ hoái caûi, haõy laøm cho vöõng chí anh em mình.

22:33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with you, both into prison, and to death.

22:33 Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Thöa Chuùa, toâi saün loøng ñi theo Chuùa, ñoàng tuø ñoàng cheát.

22:34 And he said, I tell you, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that you shall three times deny that you know me.

22:34 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Hôõi Phi -e-rô, ta noùi cuøng ngöôi, hoâm nay khi gaø chöa gaùy, ngöôi seõ ba laàn choái khoâng bieát ta.

22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and pouch, and shoes, lacked all of you any thing? And they said, Nothing.

22:35 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Khi ta ñaõ sai caùc ngöôi ñi, khoâng ñem tuùi, bao giaøy chi heát, caùc ngöôi coù thieáu gì khoâng? Moân ñoà thöa raèng: Khoâng thieáu chi heát.

22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that has a purse, let him take it, and likewise his pouch: and he that has no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

22:36 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Nhöng baây giôø, ai coù tuùi baïc, haõy laáy ñi, ai coù bao, cuõng vaäy; ai khoâng coù göôm, haõy baùn aùo ngöôøi ñi maø mua.

22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

22:37 Vì ta rao cho caùc ngöôi, coù lôøi cheùp raèng: Ngaøi ñaõ bò keå vaøo haøng keû döõ. Lôøi aáy phaûi öùng nghieäm veà chính mình ta. Thaät vaäy, söï ñaõ chæ veà ta haàu ñöôïc troïn.

22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

22:38 Caùc söù ñoà thöa raèng: Thöa Chuùa, coù hai thanh göôm ñaây. Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Aáy laø ñuû.

22:39 And he came out, and went, as he was known, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

22:39 Ñoaïn, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ra ñi, leân nuùi oâ-li-ve theo nhö thoùi quen; caùc moân ñoà cuøng ñi theo Ngaøi.

22:40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that all of you enter not into temptation.

22:40 Khi ñaõ ñeán nôi ñoù, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Haõy caàu nguyeän, haàu cho caùc ngöôi khoûi sa vaøo söï caùm doã.

22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

22:41 Ngaøi beøn ñi khoûi caùc moân ñoà, caùch chöøng lieäng moät cuïc ñaù, quì xuoáng maø caàu nguyeän

22:42 Saying, Father, if you be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done.

22:42 raèng: Laïy Cha, neáu Cha muoán, xin caát cheùn naày khoûi toâi! Daàu vaäy, xin yù Cha ñöôïc neân, chôù khoâng theo yù toâi!

22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

22:43 Coù moät thieân söù töø treân trôøi hieän xuoáng cuøng Ngaøi, maø theâm söùc cho Ngaøi.

22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

22:44 Trong côn raát ñau thöông, Ngaøi caàu nguyeän caøng thieát, moà hoâi trôû neân nhö gioït maùu lôùn rôi xuoáng ñaát.

22:45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

22:45 Caàu nguyeän xong, Ngaøi ñöùng daäy trôû laïi cuøng caùc moân ñoà, thaáy ñöông nguû meâ vì buoàn raàu.

22:46 And said unto them, Why sleep all of you? rise and pray, lest all of you enter into temptation.

22:46 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi nguû? Haõy ñöùng daäy caàu nguyeän, ñeå cho khoûi sa vaøo söï caùm doã.

22:47 And while he yet spoke, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

22:47 Khi Ngaøi coøn ñöông phaùn, moät luõ ñoâng keùo ñeán. Teân Giu-ña, moät trong möôøi hai söù ñoà, ñi tröôùc heát, laïi gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaëng hoân Ngaøi.

22:48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betray you the Son of man with a kiss?

22:48 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hoûi raèng: Hôõi Giu-ña, ngöôi laáy caùi hoân ñeå phaûn Con ngöôøi sao?

22:49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we strike with the sword?

22:49 Nhöõng ngöôøi ôû vôùi Ngaøi thaáy söï saép xaûy ñeán, beøn noùi raèng: Thöa Chuùa, chuùng toâi neân duøng göôm ñaùnh chaêng:

22:50 And one of them stroke the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

22:50 Moät ngöôøi trong caùc söù ñoà ñaùnh ñaày tôù cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm vaø cheùm ñöùt tai beân höõu.

22:51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer all of you thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

22:51 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Haõy ñeå cho hoï ñeán theá! Ngaøi beøn rôø tai ñaày tôù aáy, laøm cho noù ñöôïc laønh.

22:52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be all of you come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

22:52 Ñoaïn, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng caùc thaày teá leã caû, caùc thaày ñoäi coi ñeàn thôø, vaø caùc tröôûng laõo ñaõ ñeán baét Ngaøi, raèng: Caùc ngöôi caàm göôm vaø gaäy ñeán baét ta nhö baét keû troäm cöôùp.

22:53 When I was daily with you in the temple, all of you stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

22:53 Haèng ngaøy ta ôû trong ñeàn thôø vôùi caùc ngöôi, maø caùc ngöôi khoâng ra tay baét ta. Nhöng naày laø giôø cuûa caùc ngöôøi, vaø quyeàn cuûa söï toái taêm vaäy.

22:54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed far off.

22:54 Baáy giôø hoï baét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñem ñi, giaûi Ngaøi ñeán nhaø thaày caû thöôïng phaåm. Phi -e-rô ñi theo Ngaøi xa xa.

22:55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

22:55 Hoï nhuùm löûa giöõa saân, roài ngoài vôùi nhau; Phi -e-rô cuõng ngoài giöõa ñaùm hoï.

22:56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

22:56 Moät con ñoøi kia thaáy Phi -e-rô ngoài gaàn löûa, thì ngoù chaêm chæ, maø noùi raèng: Ngöôøi naày voán cuõng ôû vôùi ngöôøi aáy.

22:57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

22:57 Song Phi -e-rô choái Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, noùi raèng: Hôõi ñôøn baø kia, ta khoâng bieát ngöôøi ñoù.

22:58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, You are also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.

22:58 Moät laùt, coù ngöôøi khaùc thaáy Phi -e-rô, noùi raèng: Ngöôi cuõng thuoäc veà boïn ñoù! Phi -e-rô ñaùp raèng: Hôõi ngöôøi, ta khoâng phaûi thuoäc veà boïn ñoù ñaâu.

22:59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Truthfully this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.

22:59 Ñoä caùch moät giôø, coù keû khaùc ñeà quyeát nhö vaäy maø raèng: Thaät ngöôøi naày cuõng ôû vôùi Jeâsus, vì ngöôøi laø daân Ga-li-leâ.

22:60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what you says. And immediately, while he yet spoke, the cock crew.

22:60 Nhöng Phi -e-rô caõi raèng: Hôõi ngöôøi, ta khoâng bieát ngöôi noùi chi! Ñöông luùc Phi -e-rô coøn noùi, thì gaø lieàn gaùy;

22:61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word (o. logos) of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, you shall deny me three times.

22:61 Chuùa xaây moät laïi ngoù Phi -e-rô. Phi -e-rô nhôù laïi lôøi Chuùa ñaõ phaùn cuøng mình raèng: Hoâm nay tröôùc khi gaø chöa gaùy, ngöôi seõ choái ta ba laàn;

22:62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

22:62 roài ñi ra ngoaøi, khoùc loùc thaûm thieát.

22:63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and stroke him.

22:63 Vaû, nhöõng keû canh Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nhaïo baùng vaø ñaùnh Ngaøi;

22:64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that stroke you?

22:64 che maët Ngaøi laïi roài noùi raèng: Haõy noùi tieân tri ñi, haõy ñoaùn xem ai ñaùnh ngöôi!

22:65 And many other things blasphemously spoke they against him.

22:65 Hoï laïi nhieác moùc Ngaøi nhieàu lôøi khaùc nöõa.

22:66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

22:66 Ñeán saùng ngaøy, caùc tröôûng laõo trong daân, caùc thaày teá leã caû, vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo nhoùm laïi, roài sai ñem Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán nôi toøa coâng luaän.

22:67 Are you the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, all of you will not believe:

22:67 Hoï hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Neáu ngöôi phaûi laø Ñaáng Christ, haõy xöng ra cho chuùng ta. Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Neáu ta noùi, thì caùc ngöôi khoâng tin;

22:68 And if I also ask you, all of you will not answer me, nor let me go.

22:68 neáu ta tra gaïn caùc ngöôi, thì caùc ngöôi khoâng traû lôøi.

22:69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

22:69 Nhöng töø nay veà sau, Con ngöôøi seõ ngoài beân höõu quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

22:70 Then said they all, Are you then the Son of God? And he said unto them, All of you say that I am.

22:70 ai naày ñeàu hoûi raèng: Vaäy, ngöôi laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi sao? Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Chính caùc ngöôi noùi ta laø Con Ngaøi.

22:71 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

22:71 Hoï beøn noùi raèng: Chuùng ta naøo coù caàn chöùng côù nöõa laøm chi? Chính chuùng ta ñaõ nghe töø mieäng noù noùi ra roài.

 Lu ca - Luke

23:1 And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

23:1 Ñoaïn, caû hoäi ñoàng ñöùng daäy, ñieäu Ngaøi ñeán tröôùc maët Phi-laùt

23:2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

23:2 Hoï beøn khôûi caùo Ngaøi raèng: Chuùng toâi ñaõ thaáy ngöôøi naày xui daân ta laøm loaïn, caám noäp thueá cho Seâ-sa, vaø xöng laø Ñaáng Christ, laø Vua.

23:3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Are you the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, You says it.

23:3 Phi-laùt gaïn Ngaøi raèng: Chính ngöôi laø Vua daân Giu-ña phaûi khoâng? Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Thaät nhö lôøi.

23:4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

23:4 Phi-laùt beøn noùi vôùi caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø daân chuùng raèng: Ta khoâng thaáy ngöôøi naày coù toäi gì.

23:5 And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

23:5 Nhöng hoï coá naøi raèng: Ngöôøi naày xui giuïc daân söï, truyeàn giaùo khaép ñaát Giu-ñeâ, baét ñaàu töø xöù Ga-li-leâ roài ñeán ñaây.

23:6 When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

23:6 Khi Phi-laùt nghe ñieàu ñoù, thì hoûi neáu ngöôøi naày thaät laø daân Ga-li-leâ chaêng.

23:7 And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

23:7 Bieát Ngaøi thuoäc quyeàn cai trò cuûa vua Heâ-roát, beøn giaûi ñeán cho vua Heâ-roát, vua aáy ôû taïi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem trong maáy ngaøy ñoù.

23:8 And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

23:8 Vua Heâ-roát thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thì möøng laém; vì laâu nay vua muoán gaëp Ngaøi, nhôn ñaõ nghe noùi veà chuyeän Ngaøi, vaø mong xem Ngaøi laøm pheùp laï.

23:9 Then he questioned with him in many words; (o. logos) but he answered him nothing.

23:9 Vaäy, vua hoûi Ngaøi nhieàu caâu, song Ngaøi khoâng traû lôøi gì heát.

23:10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

23:10 Caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo ôû ñoù, caùo Ngaøi döõ laém.

23:11 And Herod with his men of war set him at nothing, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

23:11 Baáy giôø vua Heâ-roát vaø quaân lính haàu vua ñeàu ñaõi Ngaøi caùch khinh deå vaø nhaïo baùng Ngaøi; ñoaïn, hoï maëc aùo hoa hoøe cho Ngaøi, roài giao Ngaøi veà cho Phi-laùt.

23:12 And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

23:12 Tröôùc kia Phi-laùt vôùi vua Heâ-roát thuø hieàm nhau, nhöng noäi ngaøy aáy trôû neân baïn höõu.

23:13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

23:13 Phi-laùt hieäp caùc thaày teá leã caû, caùc quan ñeà hình vaø daân chuùng laïi, maø noùi raèng:

23:14 Said unto them, All of you have brought this man unto me, as one that perverts the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man concerning those things whereof all of you accuse him:

23:14 Caùc ngöôi ñaõ ñem noäp ngöôøi naày cho ta, veà vieäc xui daân laøm loaïn; nhöng ñaõ tra hoûi tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi ñaây, thì ta khoâng thaáy ngöôøi maéc moät toäi naøo maø caùc ngöôi ñaõ caùo;

23:15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

23:15 vua Heâ-roát cuõng vaäy, vì ñaõ giao ngöôøi veà cho ta. Vaäy, ngöôøi naày ñaõ khoâng laøm ñieàu gì ñaùng cheát,

23:16 I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

23:16 neân ta seõ ñaùnh ñoøn roài tha ñi.

23:17 (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

23:17 (Soá laø ñeán ngaøy leã, quan phaûi tha moät teân tuø cho daân.)

23:18 And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

23:18 Chuùng beøn ñoàng thanh keâu leân raèng: Haõy gieát ngöôøi naày ñi, maø tha Ba-ra-ba cho chuùng toâi!

23:19 (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

23:19 Vaû, teân naày bò tuø vì daáy loaïn trong thaønh, vaø vì toäi gieát ngöôøi.

23:20 Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spoke again to them.

23:20 Phi-laùt coù yù muoán tha Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, neân laïi noùi cuøng daân chuùng nöõa.

23:21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

23:21 Song chuùng keâu leân raèng: Ñoùng ñinh noù treân caây thaäp töï ñi! Ñoùng ñinh noù treân caây thaäp töï ñi!

23:22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil has he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

23:22 Phi-laùt laïi noùi ñeán laàn thöù ba, raèng: Vaäy ngöôøi naày ñaõ laøm ñieàu aùc gì? Ta khoâng tìm thaáy ngöôøi coù söï gì ñaùng cheát. Vaäy, ñaùnh ñoøn xong, ta seõ tha.

23:23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

23:23 Nhöng chuùng coá naøi, keâu lôùn tieáng raèng phaûi ñoùng ñinh Ngaøi treân caây thaäp töï; tieáng keâu cuûa hoï ñöôïc thaéng.

23:24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

23:24 Phi-laùt truyeàn laøm y nhö lôøi chuùng xin.

23:25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

23:25 Beøn tha teân tuø vì toäi daáy loaïn vaø gieát ngöôøi, laø ngöôøi chuùng ñaõ xin tha; roài phoù Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cho maëc yù hoï.

23:26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

23:26 Khi chuùng ñieäu Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi, baét moät ngöôøi xöù Sy-ren, teân laø Si-moân, töø ngoaøi ñoàng veà, buoäc phaûi vaùc caây thaäp töï theo sau Ngaøi.

23:27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

23:27 Coù ñoaøn daân ñoâng laém ñi theo Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, vaø coù maáy ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñaám ngöïc khoùc veà Ngaøi.

23:28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

23:28 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus xaây maët laïi vôùi hoï maø phaùn raèng: Hôõi con gaùi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ñöøng khoùc veà ta, song khoùc veà chính mình caùc ngöôi vaø veà con caùi caùc ngöôi.

23:29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the breast which never gave suck.

23:29 Vì naày, ngaøy haàu ñeán, ngöôøi ta seõ noùi raèng: Phöôùc cho ñôøn baø son, phöôùc cho daï khoâng sanh ñeû vaø vuù khoâng cho con buù!

23:30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

23:30 Baáy giôø, ngöôøi ta seõ noùi vôùi nuùi raèng: Haõy ñoå xuoáng treân chuùng ta! vôùi goø raèng: Haõy che chuùng ta!

23:31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

23:31 Vì neáu ngöôøi ta laøm nhöõng söï aáy cho caây xanh, thì caây khoâ seõ ra sao?

23:32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

23:32 Chuùng cuõng ñem hai ngöôøi ñi nöõa, laø keû troäm cöôùp, ñeå gieát cuøng vôùi Ngaøi.

23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

23:33 Khi ñeán moät choã goïi laø choã Soï, hoï ñoùng ñinh Ngaøi treân caây thaäp töï taïi ñoù, cuøng hai teân troäm cöôùp, moät teân beân höõu Ngaøi, moät teân beân taû.

23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

23:34 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caàu raèng: Laïy Cha, xin tha cho hoï, vì hoï khoâng bieát mình laøm ñieàu gì. Ñoaïn, hoï baét thaêm chia nhau aùo xoáng cuûa Ngaøi.

23:35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

23:35 Daân chuùng ñöùng ñoù maø ngoù. Caùc ngöôøi coi vieäc nhaïo cöôøi Ngaøi, raèng: Noù ñaõ cöùu keû khaùc; neáu noù laø Ñaáng Christ, Ñaáng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ löïa, thì haõy cöùu mình ñi!

23:36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

23:36 Quaân lính cuõng dôõn côït Ngaøi, laïi gaàn ñöa giaám cho Ngaøi uoáng,

23:37 And saying, If you be the king of the Jews, save yourself.

23:37 maø raèng: Neáu ngöôi laø Vua daân Giu-ña, haõy töï cöùu laáy mình ñi!

23:38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

23:38 Phía treân ñaàu Ngaøi, coù ñeà raèng: Ngöôøi Naày Laø Vua Daân Giu-ña.

23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If you be Christ, save yourself and us.

23:39 Vaû, moät teân troäm cöôùp bò ñoùng ñinh cuõng maéng nhieác Ngaøi raèng: Ngöôøi khoâng phaûi laø Ñaáng Christ sao? Haõy töï cöùu laáy mình ngöôi cuøng chuùng ta nöõa!

23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Do not you fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation?

23:40 Nhöng teân kia traùch noù raèng: Ngöôi cuõng chòu moät hình phaït aáy, coøn chaúng sôï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi sao?

23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing amiss.

23:41 Veà phaàn chuùng ta, chæ laø söï coâng bình, vì hình ta chòu xöùng vôùi vieäc ta laøm; nhöng ngöôi naày khoâng heà laøm moät ñieàu gì aùc.

23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.

23:42 Ñoaïn laïi noùi raèng: Hôõi Jeâsus, khi Ngaøi ñeán trong nöôùc mình roài, xin nhôù laáy toâi!

23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto you, To day shall you be with me in paradise.

23:43 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng ngöôi, hoâm nay ngöôi seõ ñöôïc ôû vôùi ta trong nôi Ba-ra-ñi.

23:44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

23:44 Khi ñoù, öôùc giôø thöù saùu, khaép xöù ñeàu toái taêm cho ñeán giôø thöù chín.

23:45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

23:45 Maët trôøi trôû neân toái, vaø maøn trong ñeàn thôø xeù chính giöõa ra laøm hai.

23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into your hands I commend my spirit: (o. pneuma) and having said thus, he gave up the spirit.

23:46 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn keâu lôùn raèng: Hôõi Cha, toâi giao linh hoàn laïi trong tay Cha! Ngaøi vöøa noùi xong thì taét hôi.

23:47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

23:47 Thaày ñoäi thaáy söï ñaõ xaûy ra, ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: Thaät ngöôøi naày laø ngöôøi coâng bình.

23:48 And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, stroke their breasts, and returned.

23:48 Caû daân chuùng ñi xem, thaáy noâng noåi laøm vaäy, ñaám ngöïc maø trôû veà.

23:49 And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood far off, beholding these things.

23:49 Song nhöõng keû quen bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø caùc ngöôøi ñôøn baø theo Ngaøi töø xöù Ga-li-leâ, ñeàu ñöùng ñaèng xa maø ngoù.

23:50 And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

23:50 Coù moät ngöôøi, teân laø Gioâ-seùp, laøm nghò vieân toøa coâng luaän, laø ngöôøi chaùnh tröïc coâng bình,

23:51 (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

23:51 khoâng ñoàng yù vaø cuõng khoâng döï vieäc caùc ngöôi kia ñaõ laøm. Ngöôøi ôû A-ri-ma-theâ, laø thaønh thuoäc veà xöù Giu-ñeâ, vaãn troâng ñôïi nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

23:52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

23:52 Ngöôøi beøn ñi ñeán Phi-laùt maø xin xaùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

23:53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

23:53 Khi ñaõ ñem xaùc Ngaøi xuoáng khoûi caây thaäp töï, ngöôøi laáy vaûi lieäm maø boïc, roài choân trong huyeät ñaõ ñuïc nôi hoøn ñaù, laø huyeät chöa choân ai heát.

23:54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

23:54 Baáy giôø laø ngaøy saém söûa, vaø ngaøy Sa-baùt gaàn tôùi.

23:55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the tomb, and how his body was laid.

23:55 Caùc ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñaõ töø xöù Ga-li-leâ ñeán vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, theo Gioâ-seùp, xem maû vaø cuõng xem xaùc Ngaøi ñaët theå naøo. Khi trôû veà, hoï saém söûa nhöõng thuoác thôm vaø saùp thôm.

23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

23:56 Ngaøy Sa-baùt, hoï nghæ ngôi theo luaät leä.

 Lu ca - Luke

24:1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

24:1 Ngaøy thöù nhöùt trong tuaàn leã, khi môø saùng, caùc ngöôøi ñôøn baø aáy laáy thuoác thôm ñaõ söûa soaïn ñem ñeán moà Ngaøi.

24:2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

24:2 Hoï thaáy hoøn ñaù ñaõ laên khoûi cöûa moà;

24:3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

24:3 nhöng böôùc vaøo, khoâng thaáy xaùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

24:4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

24:4 Ñöông khi khoâng bieát nghó laøm sao, xaûy coù hai ngöôøi nam maët aùo saùng nhö chôùp, hieän ra tröôùc maët hoï.

24:5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek all of you the living among the dead?

24:5 Hoï ñöông thaát kinh, uùp maët xuoáng ñaát; thì hai ngöôøi aáy noùi raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi tìm ngöôøi soáng trong voøng keû cheát?

24:6 He is not here, but has risen: remember how he spoke unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

24:6 Ngaøi khoâng ôû ñaây ñaâu, song Ngaøi ñaõ soáng laïi. Haõy nhôù khi Ngaøi coøn ôû xöù Ga-li-leâ, phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi theå naøo,

24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

24:7 Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn raèng: Con ngöôøi phaûi bò noäp trong tay keû coù toäi, phaûi bò ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï, vaø ngaøy thöù ba phaûi soáng laïi.

24:8 And they remembered his words, (o. rhema)

24:8 Hoï beøn nhôù laïi nhöõng lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ phaùn.

24:9 And returned from the tomb, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

24:9 Hoï ôû moà trôû veà, rao truyeàn moïi söï aáy cho möôøi moät söù ñoà vaø nhöõng ngöôøi khaùc.

24:10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

24:10 Aáy laø Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len, Gian-nô, vaø Ma-ri meï cuûa Gia-cô, cuøng caùc ñôøn baø khaùc ñi vôùi hoï ñaõ rao truyeàn nhö vaäy cho caùc söù ñoà.

24:11 And their words (o. rhema) seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

24:11 Song caùc söù ñoà khoâng tin, cho lôøi aáy nhö laø hö khoâng.

24:12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the tomb; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

24:12 Daàu vaäy, Phi -e-rô ñöùng daäy, chaïy ñeán moà, cuùi xuoáng maø doøm, chæ thaáy vaûi lieäm ôû treân ñaát, ñoaïn veà nhaø, laï luøng cho vieäc ñaõ xaûy ra.

24:13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.

24:13 Cuõng trong ngaøy aáy, coù hai moân ñoà ñi ñeán laøng kia, goïi laø Em-ma-uùt, caùch thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem saùu möôi eách-ta-ñô;

24:14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.

24:14 hoï ñaøm luaän veà nhöõng söï ñaõ xaûy ra.

24:15 Ñang khi noùi vaø caõi leõ nhau, chính Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán gaàn cuøng ñi ñöôøng vôùi hoï.

24:16 But their eyes were held that they should not know him.

24:17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications (o. logos) are these that all of you have one to another, as all of you walk, and are sad?

24:17 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Caùc ngöôi ñöông ñi ñöôøng, noùi chuyeän gì cuøng nhau vaäy? Hoï döøng laïi, buoàn böïc laém.

24:18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Are you only a stranger in Jerusalem, and have not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

24:18 Moät trong hai ngöôøi teân laø Cô-leâ-oâ-ba, traû lôøi raèng: Coù phaûi chæ ngöôi laø khaùch laï ôû thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, khoâng hay vieäc ñaõ xaûy ñeán taïi ñoù caùch maáy böõa raøy sao?

24:19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word (o. logos) before God and all the people:

24:19 Ngaøi hoûi raèng: Vieäc gì vaäy? Hoï traû lôøi raèng: Aáy laø vieäc ñaõ xaûy ra cho Jeâsus Na-xa-reùt, moät ñaáng tieân tri, coù quyeàn pheùp trong vieäc laøm vaø trong lôøi noùi, tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaø caû chuùng daân;

24:21 Chuùng toâi troâng mong Ngaøi seõ cöùu laáy daân Y-sô-ra-eân; daàu theå aáy, vieäc xaûy ra ñaõ ñöôïc ba ngaøy roài.

24:22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the tomb;

24:23 khoâng thaáy xaùc Ngaøi, thì veà baùo raèng coù thieân söù hieän ñeán, noùi Ngaøi ñöông soáng.

24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

24:25 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn raèng: Hôõi nhöõng keû daïi doät, coù loøng chaäm tin lôøi caùc ñaáng tieân tri noùi!

24:26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

24:26 Haù chaúng phaûi Ñaáng Christ chòu thöông khoù theå aáy, môùi ñöôïc vaøo söï vinh hieån mình sao?

24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

24:28 Khi hai ngöôøi ñi gaàn ñeán laøng mình ñònh ñi, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus döôøng nhö muoán ñi xa hôn nöõa.

24:29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

24:29 Nhöng hoï eùp Ngaøi döøng laïi, maø thöa raèng: Xin ôû laïi vôùi chuùng toâi; vì trôøi ñaõ xeá chieàu haàu toái. Vaäy, Ngaøi vaøo ôû laïi cuøng hoï.

24:30 And it came to pass, as he sat at food with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

24:32 hai ngöôøi noùi cuøng nhau raèng: Khi naõy ñi ñöôøng, Ngaøi noùi cuøng chuùng ta vaø caét nghóa Kinh Thaùnh, loøng chuùng ta haù chaúng noùng naûy sao?

24:33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit (o. pneuma) has not flesh and bones, as all of you see me have.

24:39 Haõy xem tay chôn ta: thaät chính ta. Haõy rôø ñeán ta, vaø haõy xem; thaàn thì khoâng coù thòt xöông, maø caùc ngöôi thaáy ta coù.

24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words (o. logos) which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

24:44 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Aáy ñoù laø ñieàu maø khi ta coøn ôû vôùi caùc ngöôi, ta baûo caùc ngöôi raèng moïi söï ñaõ cheùp veà ta trong luaät phaùp Moâi-se, caùc saùch tieân tri, cuøng caùc Thi Thieân phaûi ñöôïc öùng nghieäm.
