Phuc truyen luat le ky - Deuteronomy

1:1 These be the words which Moses spoke unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain opposite to the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

1:1 Naày laø lôøi Moâi-se noùi cho caû Y-sô-ra-eân, beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh, taïi ñoàng vaéng, trong ñoàng baèng, ñoái ngang Su-phô, giöõa khoaûng Pha-ran vaø Toâ-pheân, La-ban, Haùt-seâ-roát, vaø Ñi-xa-haùp.

1:2 (There are eleven days' journey from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kadeshbarnea.)

1:2 Töø Hoâ-reáp tôùi Ca-ñe-Ba-neâ -a, bôûi ñöôøng nuùi Seâ -i-rô, ñi möôøi moät ngaøy ñöôøng.

1:3 And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spoke unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the LORD had given him in commandment unto them;

1:3 Nhaèm naêm boán möôi, ngaøy moàng moät thaùng möôøi moät. Moâi-se noùi cuøng daân Y-sô-ra-eân moïi ñieàu maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ bieåu ngöôøi phaûi noùi cuøng hoï.

1:4 After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei:

1:4 Aáy laø sau khi ngöôøi ñaõ ñaùnh gieát Si-hoân, vua daân A-moâ-rít ôû taïi Heát-boân, vaø Oùc, vua Ba-san, ôû taïi Aùch-ta-roát vaø Eát-reâ -i.

1:5 On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,

1:5 Taïi beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh, trong xöù Moâ-aùp, Moâi-se khôûi giaûng giaûi luaät phaùp naày maø raèng:

1:6 The LORD our God spoke unto us in Horeb, saying, All of you have dwelt long enough in this mount:

1:6 Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta coù phaùn cuøng chuùng ta taïi Hoâ-reáp maø raèng: Caùc ngöôi kieàu nguï trong nuùi naày ñaõ laâu quaù;

1:7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.

1:7 haõy voøng laïi vaø ñi ñeán nuùi daân A-moâ-rít, cuøng ñeán caùc mieàn ôû gaàn beân, töùc laø ñeán nôi ñoàng baèng, leân nuùi, vaøo xöù thaáp, ñeán mieàn nam, leân meù bieån, vaøo xöù daân Ca-na-an vaø Li-ban, cho ñeán soâng lôùn, laø soâng Ô-phô-raùt.

1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

1:8 Kìa, ta phoù xöù naày cho caùc ngöôi! Haõy vaøo vaø chieám laáy xöù maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ theà ban cho toå phuï caùc ngöôi, laø Aùp-ra-ham, Y-saùc, Gia-coáp, cuøng cho con chaùu cuûa hoï.

1:9 And I spoke unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:

1:9 Trong luùc ñoù ta coù noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi raèng: Moät mình ta khoâng ñuû söùc cai trò caùc ngöôi.

1:10 The LORD your God has multiplied you, and, behold, all of you are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.

1:10 Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi ñaõ gia theâm caùc ngöôi, kìa ngaøy nay, caùc ngöôi ñoâng nhö sao treân trôøi.

1:11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as all of you are, and bless you, as he has promised you!)

1:11 Nguyeän Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï caùc ngöôi khieán caùc ngöôi theâm leân gaáp ngaøn laàn vaø ban phöôùc cho, y nhö Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi.

1:12 How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?

1:12 Moät mình ta laøm theá naøo mang laáy traùch nhieäm vaø gaùnh naëng veà ñieàu tranh tuïng cuûa caùc ngöôi?

1:13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.

1:13 Haõy choïn trong moãi chi phaùi caùc ngöôi nhöõng ngöôøi khoân ngoan, thoâng saùng, coù tieáng, vaø ta seõ laäp hoï leân laøm quan tröôûng caùc ngöôi.

1:14 Caùc ngöôi coù ñaùp raèng: Vieäc ngöôøi toan laøm thaät toát thay.

1:15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.

1:15 Baáy giôø, ta choïn laáy nhöõng ngöôøi quan tröôûng cuûa caùc chi phaùi, laø nhöõng ngöôøi khoân ngoan, coù tieáng, laäp leân laøm quan töôùng caùc ngöôi, hoaëc cai ngaøn ngöôøi, hoaëc cai traêm ngöôøi, hoaëc cai naêm möôi ngöôøi, hoaëc cai möôøi ngöôøi, vaø laøm quaûn lyù trong nhöõng chi phaùi cuûa caùc ngöôi.

1:16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

1:16 Trong luùc ñoù, ta ra lònh cho nhöõng quan xeùt caùc ngöôi raèng: Haõy nghe anh em caùc ngöôi, vaø laáy coâng bình maø xeùt ñoaùn söï tranh tuïng cuûa moãi ngöôøi vôùi anh em mình, hay laø vôùi khaùch ngoaïi bang ôû cuøng ngöôøi.

1:17 All of you shall not respect persons in judgment; but all of you shall hear the small as well as the great; all of you shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

1:17 Trong vieäc xeùt ñoaùn, caùc ngöôi chôù tö vò ai; haõy nghe ngöôøi heøn nhö nghe ngöôøi sang, ñöøng coù sôï ai, vì söï xeùt ñoaùn thuoäc veà Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Phaøm vieäc naøo laáy laøm raát khoù cho caùc ngöôi, haõy ñem ñeán tröôùc maët ta thì ta seõ nghe cho.

1:18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which all of you should do.

1:18 Vaäy, trong luùc ñoù, ta coù truyeàn cho caùc ngöôi moïi ñieàu mình phaûi laøm.

1:19 And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which all of you saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.

1:19 Ñoaïn, boû Hoâ-reáp, chuùng ta traûi ngang qua ñoàng vaéng minh-moâng vaø gôùm gheâ maø chuùng ta thaáy kia, höôùng veà nuùi daân A-moâ-rít, y nhö Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta ñaõ phaùn daën; roài chuùng ta ñeán Ca-ñe-Ba-neâ -a.

1:20 And I said unto you, All of you are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God does give unto us.

1:20 Baáy giôø, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi raèng: Caùc ngöôi ñaõ ñeán nuùi cuûa daân A-moâ-rít maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta ban cho chuùng ta.

1:21 Behold, the LORD your God has set the land before you: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has said unto you; fear not, neither be discouraged.

1:21 Kìa, Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi phoù xöù naày cho ngöôi; haõy ñi leân, chieám laøm saûn nghieäp, y nhö Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï ngöôi ñaõ phaùn cuøng ngöôi; chôù aùi ngaïi, chôù kinh khuûng.

1:22 And all of you came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.

1:22 Caùc ngöôi heát thaûy beøn laïi gaàn ta vaø noùi raèng: Haõy sai nhöõng ngöôøi ñi tröôùc chuùng toâi, ñaëng do thaùm xöù vaø chæ baûo veà ñöôøng saù naøo chuùng toâi phaûi leân, vaø caùc thaønh chuùng toâi phaûi vaøo.

1:23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:

1:23 Lôøi naày ñeïp loøng ta; ta choïn möôøi hai ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi, töùc moãi chi phaùi moät ngöôøi.

1:24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.

1:24 Möôøi hai ngöôøi ñoù ra ñi. leân nuùi, ñi ñeán khe Eách-coân vaø do thaùm xöù.

1:25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God does give us.

1:25 Hoï haùi caàm trong tay mình nhöõng traùi caây xöù ñoù, ñem veà cho chuùng ta; thuaät laïi cuøng chuùng ta raèng: Xöù maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta ban cho thaät laø toát.

1:26 Notwithstanding all of you would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:

1:26 Nhöng caùc ngöôi khoâng muoán leân ñoù, vaø ñaõ boäi nghòch maïng cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi,

1:27 And all of you murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he has brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

1:27 laèm baèm trong traïi mình maø raèng: Aáy bôûi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va gheùt chuùng ta, neân khieán chuùng ta ra xöù EÂ-díp-toâ, ñaëng phoù chuùng ta vaøo tay daân A-moâ-rít, ñeå tieâu dieät ñi.

1:28 Where shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.

1:28 Chuùng ta seõ ñi leân ñaâu? Anh em chuùng ta laøm cho chuùng ta tieâu gan vì noùi raèng: Aáy laø moät daân ñoâng hôn vaø cao lôùn hôn chuùng ta; aáy laø nhöõng thaønh lôùn vaø kieân coá ñeán taän trôøi; vaû laïi, taïi ñoù, chuùng toâi coù thaáy nhöõng con chaùu cuûa daân A-na-kim.

1:29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.

1:29 Nhöng ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi raèng: Chôù aùi ngaïi vaø chôù sôï seät gì.

1:30 The LORD your God which goes before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

1:30 Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi ñi tröôùc, chính Ngaøi seõ chieán-cöï cho caùc ngöôi, nhö Ngaøi ñaõ thöôøng laøm tröôùc maét caùc ngöôi taïi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ,

1:31 And in the wilderness, where you have seen how that the LORD your God bare you, as a man does bear his son, in all the way that all of you went, until all of you came into this place.

1:31 vaø trong ñoàng vaéng-laø nôi ngöôi thaáy raèng troïn doïc ñöôøng ngöôi ñi, cho ñeán khi tôùi choán naày, Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñaõ boàng ngöôi nhö moät ngöôøi boàng con trai mình.

1:32 Yet in this thing all of you did not believe the LORD your God,

1:32 Daàu vaäy, caùc ngöôi vaãn khoâng tin Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi,

1:33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to show you by what way all of you should go, and in a cloud by day.

1:33 laø Ñaáng ñi tröôùc daãn caùc ngöôi treân ñöôøng, ñeå tìm cho caùc ngöôi moät nôi ñoùng traïi; ban ñeâm trong ñaùm löûa, ban ngaøy trong ñaùm maây, ñaëng chæ con ñöôøng caùc ngöôi phaûi ñi.

1:34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was angry, and swore, saying,

1:34 Baáy giôø, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nghe tieáng cuûa lôøi noùi caùc ngöôi, beøn noåi giaän vaø theà raèng:

1:35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I swore to give unto your fathers.

1:35 Chaúng moät ai cuûa doøng doõi gian aùc naày seõ thaáy xöù toát ñeïp maø ta ñaõ theà ban cho toå phuï caùc ngöôi,

1:36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he has trodden upon, and to his children, because he has wholly followed the LORD.

1:36 ngoaïi tröø Ca-leùp, con trai cuûa Gieâ-phu-neâ. Ngöôøi seõ thaáy xöù ñoù; vaø ta seõ ban cho ngöôøi cuøng con chaùu ngöôøi xöù maø ngöôøi ñaõ traûi qua, bôûi vì ngöôøi coù theo Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va caùch trung tín troïn veïn.

1:37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, You also shall not go in thither.

1:37 Laïi, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vì côù caùc ngöôi cuõng noåi giaän cuøng ta, maø raèng: Ngöôi cuõng vaäy, seõ khoâng vaøo ñoù ñaâu.

1:38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which stands before you, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

1:38 Gioâ-sueâ, con trai Nun, laø ñaày tôù ngöôi, seõ ñöôïc vaøo ñoù. Haõy laøm cho ngöôøi vöõng loøng, vì aáy laø ngöôøi seõ khieán daân Y-sô-ra-eân nhaän laáy xöù naày laûm saûn nghieäp.

1:39 Moreover your little ones, which all of you said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

1:39 Nhöõng con treû cuûa caùc ngöôi vaø caùc ngöôi ñaõ noùi raèng seõ thaønh moät mieáng moài, vaø nhöõng con trai caùc ngöôi hieän baây giôø chöa bieát ñieàu thieän hay laø ñieàu aùc, seõ vaøo xöù ñoù. Ta seõ ban cho chuùng noù xöù naày laøm saûn nghieäp;

1:40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.

1:40 nhöng caùc ngöôi haõy trôû veà, ñi ñeán ñoàng vaéng veà höôùng Bieån ñoû.

1:41 Then all of you answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when all of you had girded on every man his weapons of war, all of you were ready to go up into the hill.

1:41 Luùc ñoù, caùc ngöôi beøn ñaùp cuøng ta maø raèng: Chuùng toâi ñaõ phaïm toäi cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; chuùng toâi seõ ñi leân chieán traän vaø laøm moïi ñieàu Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng toâi ñaõ phaùn daën. Moãi ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi nòt binh khí vaø toan daïi doät ñi leân nuùi.

1:42 And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them. Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest all of you be smitten before your enemies.

1:42 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va beøn phaùn cuøng ta raèng: Haõy noùi cuøng daân söï: Chôù ñi leân vaø chôù chieán traän, vì ta khoâng ngöï giöõa caùc ngöôi; e caùc ngöôi bò quaân thuø nghòch ñaùnh baïi.

1:43 So I spoke unto you; and all of you would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.

1:43 Ta coù thuaät laïi nhöõng lôøi naày, nhöng caùc ngöôi khoâng nghe ta, nghòch maïng cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, ñaày söï kieâu ngaïo, keùo ñi leân nuùi.

1:44 And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.

1:44 Baáy giôø, ngöôøi A-moâ-rít ôû trong nuùi naày, ñi ra ñoùn vaø ñuoåi caùc ngöôi nhö theå ñoaøn ong, ñaùnh baïi caùc ngöôi taïi Seâ -i-rô cho ñeán Hoït-ma.

1:45 And all of you returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.

1:45 Khi trôû veà, caùc ngöôi coù khoùc loùc tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, nhöng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khoâng laéng tai vaø chaúng khöùng nghe tieáng cuûa caùc ngöôi.

1:46 So all of you abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that all of you abode there.

1:46 Aáy vì theá neân caùc ngöôi ôû taïi Ca-ñe laâu ngaøy, nhieàu ngaøy bieát döôøng bao!

Phuc truyen luat le ky - Deuteronomy

2:1 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spoke unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

2:1 Ñoaïn, chuùng ta trôû laïi ñi vaøo ñoàng vaéng veà höôùng Bieån ñoû, y nhö Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn daën ta, vaø chuùng ta ñi voøng laâu ngaøy quanh nuùi Seâ -i-rô.

2:2 And the LORD spoke unto me, saying,

2:2 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù phaùn cuøng ta maø raèng:

2:3 All of you have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

2:3 Caùc ngöôi ñi voøng nuùi naày cuõng ñaõ laâu roài, haõy trôû leân höôùng baéc.

2:4 And command you the people, saying, All of you are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take all of you good heed unto yourselves therefore:

2:4 Haõy truyeàn lònh naày cho daân söï: Caùc ngöôi seõ traûi qua ñòa phaän cuûa anh em mình, töùc laø con chaùu EÂ-sau, ôû taïi Seâ -i-rô, vaø chuùng noù seõ sôï caùc ngöôi. Nhöng haõy giöõ laáy mình,

2:5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

2:6 All of you shall buy food of them for money, that all of you may eat; and all of you shall also buy water of them for money, that all of you may drink.

2:6 Caùc ngöôi seõ duøng tieàn baïc maø mua löông thöùc cuûa chuùng noù maø aên, nöôùc maø uoáng.

2:7 For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the works of your hand: he knows your walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.

2:7 Vì Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñaõ ban phöôùc cho moïi coâng vieäc laøm cuûa tay ngöôi; Ngaøi ñaõ bieát cuoäc ñi ñöôøng ngöôi ngang qua ñoàng vaéng lôùn lao naày. Trong boán möôøi naêm naày, Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi vaãn ôû cuøng ngöôi; ngöôi khoâng thieáu chi heát.

2:8 And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

2:8 Vaäy, chuùng ta coù ñi ngang qua caùch xa anh em ta, laø con chaùu EÂ-sau, ôû taïi Seâ -i-rô, vaø baét ñi veà höôùng ñoàng vaéng Moâ-aùp, ñaëng traùnh con ñöôøng ñoàng baèng, cuøng EÂ-laùt vaø EÂ-xi-oân-Gheâ-be.

2:9 And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give you of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

2:9 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va beøn phaùn cuøng ta raèng: Chôù ñöông ñòch vaø chôù chieán traän vôùi daân Moâ-aùp; vì ta khoâng cho ngöôi chi trong xöù daân aáy laøm saûn nghieäp ñaâu, bôûi ta ñaõ ban A-rô cho con chaùu Loùt laøm saûn nghieäp.

2:10 The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

2:10 (Luùc tröôùc, daân EÂ-mim ôû taïi ñoù. Aáy laø moät daân lôùn, ñoâng, hình gieàng giaøng nhö daân A-na-kim vaäy.

2:11 Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites called them Emims.

2:11 Ngöôøi ta cuõng cho daân naày laø daân gieàng giaøng nhö daân A-na-kim; nhöng daân Moâ-aùp goïi hoï laø EÂ-mim.

2:12 The Horims also dwelt in Seir in time past; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their position; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

2:12 Daân Hoâ-rít luùc tröôùc cuõng ôû taïi Seâ -i-rô; song con chaùu EÂ-sau dieät daân aáy, ñoaït laáy xöù hoï vaø ôû theá cho, y nhö Y-sô-ra-eân laøm trong xöù maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ ban cho ngöôøi laøm saûn nghieäp).

2:13 Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

2:13 Baây giôø, haõy ñöùng daäy, ñi ngang qua khe Xeâ-reát. Vaäy, chuùng ta coù ñi ngang khe Xeâ-reát.

2:14 And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD swore unto them.

2:14 Vaû, thì giôø veà caùc cuoäc ñi ñöôøng cuûa chuùng ta, töø khi lìa khoûi Ca-ñe-Ba-neâ -a, tôùi luùc ñi ngang qua khe Xeâ-reát, coäng laø ba möôi taùm naêm, cho ñeán chöøng caùc ngöôøi chieán só veà ñôøi aáy ñaõ dieät maát khoûi traïi quaân, y nhö Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ theà cuøng caùc ngöôøi ñoù.

2:15 For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

2:15 Vaû laïi, tay Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuõng tra vaøo hoï ñaëng dieät hoï khoûi traïi quaân, cho ñeán chöøng naøo hoï ñeàu tieâu dieät heát.

2:16 So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

2:16 Xaûy khi caùc ngöôøi chieán só ñaõ bò tieâu dieät vaø cheát maát khoûi daân söï,

2:17 That the LORD spoke unto me, saying,

2:17 thì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ta maø raèng:

2:18 You are to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

2:18 Ngaøy nay ngöôi seõ ñi ngang qua A-rô, bôø coõi cuûa daân Moâ-aùp,

2:19 And when you come nigh opposite to the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give you of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

2:19 vaø ñeán gaàn con chaùu Am-moân. Chôù ñöông ñòch vaø chôù chieán traän cuøng chuùng noù; vì ta khoâng cho ngöôi chi heát cuûa xöù con chaùu Am-moân laøm saûn nghieäp, bôûi ta ñaõ ban xöù ñoù cho con chaùu cuûa Loùt laøm saûn nghieäp.

2:20 (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

2:20 (Nguyeân xöù naày goïi laø xöù Reâ-pha-im. Xöa kia daân Reâ-pha-im ôû ñoù, daân Am-moân goïi laø Xam-xu-mim;

2:21 A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their position:

2:21 aáy laø moät daân lôùn, ñoâng, hình gieàng giaøng nhö daân A-na-kim. Nhöng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va dieät daân Reâ-pha-im tröôùc maët daân Am-moân; daân Am-moân ñoaït laáy xöù cuûa hoï vaø ôû theá cho.

2:22 As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their position even unto this day:

2:22 Aáy Ngaøi ñaõ laøm cho con chaùu EÂ-sau, ôû taïi Seâ -i-rô, laø nhö vaäy, khi Ngaøi huûy dieät daân Hoâ-rít tröôùc maët con chaùu EÂ-sau; hoï chieám laáy xöù daân aáy vaø ôû theá vaøo choã cho ñeán ngaøy nay.

2:23 And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their position.)

2:23 Coøn daân A-vim, ôû trong nhöõng laøng cho ñeán Ga-xa, daân Caùp-toâ-rim ôû töø Caùp-toâ ra huûy dieät hoï, vaø ôû theá vaøo cho).

2:24 Rise all of you up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into yours hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

2:24 Haõy ñöùng daäy ñi ngang qua khe Aït-noân. Kìa, ta ñaõ phoù Si-hoân, vua Heát-boân, laø ngöôøi A-moâ-rít, cuøng xöù ngöôøi vaøo tay ngöôi; haõy khôûi chieám laáy vaø giao chieán cuøng ngöôøi.

2:25 This day will I begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of you, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of you.

2:25 Ngaøy nay, ta khôûi raûi treân caùc daân toäc trong thieân haï söï sôï haõi vaø kinh khuûng veà danh ngöôi, ñeán noãi khi nghe noùi veà ngöôi, caùc daân toäc ñoù seõ run raåy vaø bò söï kinh khuûng aùp haõm tröôùc maët ngöôi.

2:26 And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

2:26 Baáy giôø, töø ñoàng vaéng Keâ-ñeâ-moát, ta sai söù giaû ñeán Si-hoân, vua Heát-boân, laáy lôøi hoøa haûo ñaëng noùi cuøng ngöôøi raèng:

2:27 Let me pass through your land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

2:27 Xin cho pheùp toâi ñi ngang qua xöù vua; toâi ñi theo ñöôøng caùi luoân luoân, khoâng xaây qua beân höõu hay beân taû.

2:29 cuõng nhö con chaùu EÂ-sau ôû taïi Seâ -i-rô, vaø daân Moâ-aùp ôû taïi A-rô ñaõ cho pheùp vaäy, cho ñeán chöøng naøo toâi ñi qua Gioâ-ñanh, ñaëng vaøo xöù maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi ban cho toâi.

2:30 But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD your God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as appears this day.

2:30 Nhöng Si-hoân, vua Heát-boân, khoâng khöùng chuùng ta ñi ngang qua ñòa phaän ngöôøi; vì Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñaõ khieán cho taùnh ngöôøi ngoan ngaïch, loøng ngöôøi cöùng coûi, ñeå phoù ngöôøi vaøo tay ngöôi, y nhö ñieàu ñaõ xaûy ñeán ngaøy nay.

2:31 And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before you: begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.

2:31 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ta raèng: kìa, töø baây giôø, ta phoù Si-hoân vaø xöù ngöôøi cho ngöôi. Haõy khôûi chieám laáy xöù ngöôøi ñaëng laøm cô nghieäp.

2:32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

2:32 Vaäy, Si-hoân vaø caû daân söï ngöôøi ra ñoùn chuùng ta, ñaëng giao chieán taïi Gia-haùt.

2:33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we stroke him, and his sons, and all his people.

2:33 Nhöng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta phoù ngöôøi cho chuùng ta, vaø chuùng ta ñaùnh baïi ngöôøi, caùc con trai cuøng caû daân söï cuûa ngöôøi.

2:34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

2:34 Trong luùc ñoù, ta chieám heát caùc thaønh ngöôøi, khaán vaùi dieät heát caùc thaønh, caû ngöôøi nam, ngöôøi nöõ, vaø caùc con treû, khoâng chöøa laïi moät ai.

2:35 Chuùng ta chæ coù cöôùp laáy cho phaàn mình suùc vaät vaø hoùa taøi cuûa caùc thaønh mình ñaõ thaéng ñöôïc.

2:36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

2:36 Töø A-roâ -e, ôû treân meù khe Aït-noân, vaø caùi thaønh ôû trong truõng, cho ñeán Ga-la-aùt, chaúng coù moät thaønh naøo laáy laøm kieân coá quaù cho chuùng ta; Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta ñaõ phoù caùc thaønh ñoù cho chuùng ta heát.

2:37 Only unto the land of the children of Ammon you came not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.

2:37 Chæn ngöôi khoâng coù laïi gaàn xöù cuûa con chaùu Am-moân, ôû doïc khaép meù khe Gia-boác, hoaëc caùc thaønh treân nuùi hay laø choã naøo Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta caám khoâng cho chuùng ta chieám laáy.

3:1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

3:1 Baáy giôø, chuùng ta trôû laïi baét ñöôøng Ba-san ñi leân. Oùc, vua Ba-san, vaø caû daân söï ngöôøi ra ñoùn chuùng ta, ñaëng giao chieán taïi Eách-reâ -i.

3:2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into your hand; and you shall do unto him as you did unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

3:2 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ta raèng: Ngöôi chôù sôï, vì ta ñaõ phoù ngöôøi, caû daân söï vaø xöù ngöôøi vaøo tay ngöôi; ngöôi seõ laøm cho ngöôøi nhö ngöôi ñaõ laøm cho Si-hoân, vua A-moâ-rít, ôû taïi Heát-boân.

3:3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we stroke him until none was left to him remaining.

3:3 Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta cuõng coù phoù vaøo tay chuùng ta Oùc, vua Ba-san, vaø caû daân söï ngöôøi; chuùng ta coù ñaùnh baïi ngöôøi ñeán chöøng khoâng coøn laïi moät ai.

3:4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

3:4 Trong luùc ñoù chuùng ta chieám laáy caùc thaønh cuûa ngöôøi, khoâng coù thaønh naøo maø mình khoâng chieám laáy; töùc laø saùu möôi caùi thaønh vaø toaøn mieàn Aït-goáp, laø nöôùc cuûa Oùc trong xöù Ba-san.

3:5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside towns without protective walls a great many.

3:5 Caùc thaønh naày voán laø ñoàn luõy coù vaùch cao, cöûa vaø caây gaøi; cuõng coù laáy nhöõng thaønh khoâng coù vaùch raát nhieàu.

3:6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

3:6 Chuùng ta khaán vaùi taän dieät caùc thaønh naày, nhö chuùng ta ñaõ laøm cho Si-hoân, vua Heát-boân, töùc laø khaán vaùi dieät heát caùc thaønh, caùc ngöôøi nam, ngöôøi nöõ, vaø con treû.

3:7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

3:7 Nhöng chuùng ta chieám laáy veà phaàn mình heát thaûy suùc vaät vaø hoùa taøi cuûa caùc thaønh aáy.

3:8 And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;

3:8 Vaäy, trong luùc ñoù, chuùng ta chieám laáy cuûa hai vua A-moâ-rít, xöù beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh, töø khe Aït-noân ñeán nuùi Heït-moân

3:10 caùc thaønh cuûa ñoàng baèng, toaøn Ga-la-aùt vaø toaøn Ba-san.

3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

3:11 (Vì veà daân toäc Reâ-pha-im, chæ coù moät mình Oùc, vua Ba-san, coøn laïi. Naày, caùi giöôøng baèng saét cuûa ngöôøi, haù chaúng coøn taïi Raùp-ba, thaønh cuûa con chaùu Am-moân sao? Beà daøi giöôøng laø chín thöôùc, beà ngang boán thöôùc, theo thöôùc tay ngöôøi nam).

3:12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

3:12 Vaäy, trong luùc ñoù, chuùng ta chieám laáy xöù naày. Ta cho ngöôøi Ru-beân vaø ngöôøi Gaùt töø xöù A-roâ -e, ôû treân khe Aït-noân vaø phaân nöûa nuùi Ga-la-aùt, cuøng caùc thaønh cuûa noù.

3:13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

3:13 Ta cho phaân nöûa chi phaùi Ma-na-se phaàn coøn laïi cuûa nuùi Ga-la-aùt, vaø toaøn Ba-san, nöôùc cuûa Oùc, töùc laø caû mieàn Aït-goáp cuøng toaøn Ba-san vaäy. Mieàn aáy goïi laø xöù Reâ-pha-im.

3:14 Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashanhavothjair, unto this day.

3:14 Giai-rô, con trai Ma-na-se, chieám laáy caû mieàn Aït-goáp cho ñeán giôùi haïn daân Gheâ-su-rít vaø Ma-ca-thít, ñaët teân mình cho caùc thoân xöù Ba-san, laø thoân Giai-rô, ñeán ngaøy nay haõy coøn.

3:15 And I gave Gilead unto Machir.

3:15 Ta cuõng cho Ma-ki xöù Ga-la-aùt.

3:16 And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

3:16 Veà ngöôøi Ru-beân vaø ngöôøi Gaùt, ta cho phaàn Ga-la-aùt coù ranh ôû giöõa khe Aït-noân cho ñeán khe Gia-boát, laø giôùi haïn cuûa con chaùu Am-moân,

3:17 The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward.

3:17 luoân vôùi ñoàng baèng Gioâ-ñanh, töø Ki-neâ-reát tôùi bieån cuûa ñoàng baèng, töùc laø Bieån maën, döôùi trieàn nuùi Phích-ga, veà phía ñoâng.

3:18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God has given you this land to possess it: all of you shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.

3:18 Vaû, trong luùc ñoù, ta truyeàn lònh naày cho caùc ngöôi, maø raèng: Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi coù phoù xöù naày cho caùc ngöôi ñaëng nhaän laáy laøm saûn nghieäp; heát thaûy nhöõng chieán só trong caùc ngöôi phaûi caàm binh khí ñi qua tröôùc anh em mình, laø daân Y-sô-ra-eân.

3:19 But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that all of you have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;

3:19 Chæ nhöõng vôï, con treû, vaø suùc vaät caùc ngöôi (ta bieát raèng caùc ngöôi coù nhieàu suùc vaät) seõ ôû laïi trong nhöõng thaønh maø ta ñaõ cho caùc ngöôi,

3:20 Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the LORD your God has given them beyond Jordan: and then shall all of you return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

3:20 ñeán chöøng naøo Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cho anh em caùc ngöôi söï an nghæ nhö mình, vaø anh em cuõng nhaän ñöôïc xöù maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi ban cho hoï taïi phía beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh; ñoaïn moïi ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi seõ trôû veà saûn nghieäp mình maø ta ñaõ ban cho caùc ngöôi.

3:21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Yours eyes have seen all that the LORD your God has done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms where you pass.

3:21 Ñang luùc aáy, ta cuõng truyeàn lònh naày cho Gioâ-sueâ maø raèng: Maét ngöôi coù thaáy moïi ñieàu Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi ñaõ laøm cho hai vua naày; Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ laøm nhö vaäy cho caùc nöôùc naøo maø ngöôi seõ ñi qua.

3:22 All of you shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.

3:22 Ñöøng sôï caùc nöôùc ñoù, vì chính Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi tranh chieán cho caùc ngöôi.

3:23 And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,

3:23 Trong luùc naày, ta caàu khaån cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va maø raèng:

3:24 O Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to your works, and according to your might?

3:24 Laïy Chuùa Gieâ-hoâ-va, Chuùa ñaõ khôûi toû cho keû toâi tôù Chuùa söï oai nghieâm lôùn, vaø caùnh tay quyeàn naêng cuûa Chuùa; vì treân trôøi döôùi ñaát haù coù thaàn naøo laøm ñöôïc vieäc vaø coâng söï quyeàn naêng gioáng nhö cuûa Chuùa chaêng?

3:25 I pray you, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

3:25 Toâi xin Chuùa cho pheùp toâi ñi qua xem xöù toát töôi, nuùi ñeïp ñeõ naày, vaø Li-ban ôû beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh.

3:26 But the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice you; speak no more unto me of this matter.

3:26 Nhöng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, bôûi côù caùc ngöôi, noåi giaän cuøng ta, khoâng nhaän lôøi ta, beøn phaùn raèng: Thoâi; chôù coøn noùi veà vieäc naày cuøng ta nöõa.

3:27 Get you up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up yours eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with yours eyes: for you shall not go over this Jordan.

3:27 Haõy ñi leân choùt Phích-ga, ngöôùc maét ngöôi leân veà höôùng taây, höôùng baéc, höôùng nam, vaø höôùng ñoâng maø nhìn xöù aáy, vì ngöôi seõ khoâng ñi ngang qua soâng Gioâ-ñanh naày ñaâu.

3:28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you shall see.

3:28 Song haõy truyeàn maïng lònh cho Gioâ-sueâ, laøm cho ngöôøi vöõng loøng beàn chí; vì aáy laø ngöôøi phaûi ñi qua tröôùc maët daân naày, khieán chuùng nhaän laáy xöù maø ngöôi seõ thaáy.

3:29 So we abode in the valley opposite to Bethpeor.

3:29 Aáy vaäy, chuùng ta coù ôû trong truõng, ñoái ngang Beát-Pheâ -o.

4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, in order to do them, that all of you may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers gives you.

4:1 Hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, baây giôø haõy nghe nhöõng maïng lònh vaø luaät leä maø ta daïy caùc ngöôi; haõy laøm theo, ñeå caùc ngöôi ñöôïc soáng vaø vaøo xöù maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï caùc ngöôi ban cho caùc ngöôi nhaän ñöôïc.

4:2 All of you shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall all of you diminish ought from it, that all of you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

4:2 Caùc ngöôi chôù theâm chi vaø ñöøng bôùt chi veà ñieàu ta truyeàn cho, ñeå giöõ theo caùc ñieàu raên cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi maø ta ñaõ truyeàn.

4:3 Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the LORD your God has destroyed them from among you.

4:3 Nhaân dòp cuûa Ba-anh-Pheâ -o, maét caùc ngöôi ñaõ thaáy ñieàu Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ laøm; vì Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi coù dieät khoûi giöõa ngöôi moïi keû tin theo Ba-anh-Pheâ -o.

4:4 But all of you that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day.

4:4 Coøn caùc ngöôi, laø nhöõng keû vaãn theo Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình, ngaøy nay heát thaûy coøn soáng.

4:5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that all of you should do so in the land where all of you go to possess it.

4:5 Naày ñaây, ta ñaõ daïy caùc ngöôi nhöõng maïng lònh vaø luaät leä y nhö Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta ñaõ phaùn daën ta, ñeå caùc ngöôi laøm theo ôû giöõa xöù mình seõ vaøo ñaëng nhaän laáy.

4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

4:6 Vaäy, caùc ngöôi phaûi giöõ laøm theo caùc maïng lònh vaø luaät leä naày; vì aáy laø söï khoân ngoan vaø söï thoâng saùng cuûa caùc ngöôi tröôùc maët caùc daân toäc; hoï nghe noùi veà caùc luaät leä naày, seõ noùi raèng: Daân naày laø moät daân khoân ngoan vaø thoâng saùng khoâng hai!

4:7 For what nation is there so great, who has God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

4:7 Vaû chaêng, haù coù daân lôùn naøo maø coù caùc thaàn mình gaàn nhö chuùng ta coù Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi gaàn chuùng ta, moïi khi chuùng ta caàu khaån Ngaøi chaêng?

4:8 And what nation is there so great, that has statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

4:8 Laïi, haù coù nöôùc lôùn naøo coù nhöõng maïng lònh vaø luaät leä coâng bình nhö caû luaät phaùp naày, maø ngaøy nay ta ñaët tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi chaêng?

4:9 Only take heed to yourself, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which yours eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life: but teach them your sons, and your sons' sons;

4:9 Chæ haõy giöõ laáy ngöôi, lo canh caån thaän linh hoàn mình, e ngöôi queân nhöõng ñieàu maø maét mình ñaõ thaáy, haàu cho chaúng moät ngaøy naøo cuûa ñôøi ngöôi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù lìa khoûi loøng ngöôi: phaûi daïy cho caùc con vaø chaùu ngöôi.

4:10 Specially the day that you stood before the LORD your God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

4:10 Haõy nhôù ngaøy ngöôi chaàu Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi taïi Hoâ-reáp, khi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ta raèng: Haõy nhoùm hieäp daân söï ñeå ta khieán chuùng nghe lôøi ta, haàu cho taäp kính sôï ta ñang luùc hoï coøn soáng nôi theá thöôïng, vaø daïy lôøi ñoù cho con caùi mình.

4:11 And all of you came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

4:11 Vaäy, caùc ngöôi laïi gaàn vaø ñöùng döôùi nuùi. Vaû, nuùi caû löûa chaùy cho ñeán taän trôøi; coù söï toái taêm, maây mòt mòt vaø ñen kòt.

4:12 And the LORD spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire: all of you heard the voice of the words, but saw no embodiment; only all of you heard a voice.

4:12 Töø trong löûa, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi; caùc ngöôi nghe moät tieáng noùi, nhöng khoâng thaáy moät hình traïng naøo; chæ nghe moät tieáng maø thoâi.

4:13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

4:13 Ngaøi rao truyeàn cho caùc ngöôi bieát söï giao öôùc cuûa Ngaøi, töùc laø möôøi ñieàu raên, khieán caùc ngöôi gìn giöõ laáy, vaø Ngaøi cheùp möôøi ñieàu raên aáy treân hai baûng ñaù.

4:14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that all of you might do them in the land where all of you go over to possess it.

4:14 Trong luùc ñoù, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuõng phaùn daën ta daïy caùc ngöôi nhöõng maïng lònh vaø luaät leä, ñeå caùc ngöôi laøm theo taïi trong xöù maø mình seõ ñi vaøo nhaän laáy.

4:15 Take all of you therefore good heed unto yourselves; for all of you saw no manner of embodiment on the day that the LORD spoke unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:

4:15 Vaäy, caùc ngöôi haõy caån thaän giöõ laáy linh hoàn mình cho laém, vì caùc ngöôi khoâng coù thaáy moät hình traïng naøo trong ngaøy Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi, töø nôi giöõa löûa phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, taïi Hoâ-reáp;

4:19 And lest you lift up yours eyes unto heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD your God has divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

4:19 laïi, e khi ngöôi ngöôùc maét leân trôøi thaáy maët trôøi, maët traêng, caùc ngoâi sao, töùc laø toaøn caû thieân binh, thì ngöôi bò quyeán duï quì xuoáng tröôùc caùc vì ñoù, vaø thôø laïy caùc tinh tuù naày maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñaõ chia phaân cho muoân daân döôùi trôøi chaêng.

4:20 But the LORD has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as all of you are this day.

4:20 Coøn caùc ngöôi, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ choïn vaø ruùt caùc ngöôi khoûi loø löûa baèng saét kia, laø xöù EÂ-díp-toâ, ñeå caùc ngöôi thaønh moät daân rieâng cuûa Ngaøi, y nhö caùc ngöôi ñaõ laø ñieàu ñoù ngaøy nay.

4:21 Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and swore that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance:

4:21 Ñoaïn, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vì côù caùc ngöôi, noåi giaän cuøng ta, coù theà raèng ta khoâng ñöôïc ñi ngang qua soâng Gioâ-ñanh, vaø chaúng ñaëng vaøo xöù toát ñeïp maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ban cho ngöôi laøm saûn nghieäp.

4:22 But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but all of you shall go over, and possess that good land.

4:22 Vì ta phaûi cheát trong xöù naày, khoâng ñi ngang qua soâng Gioâ-ñanh ñöôïc; nhöng caùc ngöôi seõ ñi qua vaø nhaän laáy xöù toát ñeïp aáy.

4:23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest all of you forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD your God has forbidden you.

4:23 Khaù caån thaän giöõ laáy mình, chôù queân söï giao öôùc cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi ñaõ laäp cuøng caùc ngöôi, vaø chôù laøm töôïng chaïm naøo, hình cuûa vaät naøo maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñaõ caám;

4:24 vì Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi nhö moät ñaùm löûa tieâu chaùy, vaø laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi hay kî taø.

4:25 When you shall brought forth children, and children's children, and all of you shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD your God, to provoke him to anger:

4:31 (For the LORD your God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore unto them.

4:31 Vì Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi hay thöông xoùt seõ khoâng boû ngöôi vaø khoâng huûy dieät ngöôi ñaâu; cuõng chaúng queân söï giao öôùc maø Ngaøi ñaõ theà cuøng caùc toå phuï ngöôi.

4:32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?

4:37 And because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought you out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

Phuc truyen luat le ky - Deuteronomy

9:1 Hear, O Israel: You are to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,

9:1 Hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, haõy nghe! ngaøy nay ngöôi seõ ñi ngang qua soâng Gioâ-ñanh, ñaëng chieám laáy caùc daân toäc lôùn vaø maïnh hôn ngöôi, nhöõng thaønh lôùn vaø töôøng cao ñeán trôøi,

9:2 A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom you know, and of whom you have heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!

9:2 moät daân to lôùn vaø taùc cao, laø con chaùu A-na-kim, maø ngöôi ñaõ bieát, vaø coù nghe moùi raèng: "Ai seõ ñöông ñòch noåi tröôùc maët con chaùu A-naùc?"

9:3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD your God is he which goes over before you; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before your face: so shall you drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD has said unto you.

9:3 Vaäy, ngaøy nay phaûi bieát raèng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñi tröôùc ngöôi, nhö moät ñaùm löûa höøng, seõ tieâu dieät vaø haï xuoáng caùc daân naày tröôùc maët ngöôi; ngöôi seõ ñuoåi ra vaø dieät chuùng noù caùch mau, y nhö Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn cuøng ngöôi.

9:4 Speak not you in yours heart, after that the LORD your God has cast them out from before you, saying, For my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD does drive them out from before you.

9:4 Khi Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñaõ ñuoåi chuùng noù khoûi tröôùc maët ngöôi, chôù noùi trong loøng raèng: Aáy vì côù söï coâng bình toâi maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khieán toâi vaøo nhaän laáy xöù naày; thaät laø bôûi söï gian aùc cuûa caùc daân toäc ñoù, neân Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va môùi ñuoåi chuùng noù ra khoûi tröôùc maët ngöôi.

9:5 Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of yours heart, do you go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may perform the word which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

9:5 Ngöôi vaøo nhaän laáy xöù cuûa caùc daân toäc aáy, chaúng phaûi vì côù söï coâng bình ngöôi, hay laø loøng chaùnh tröïc cuûa ngöôi ñaâu, nhöng vì côù söï gian aùc cuûa chuùng noù, neân Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi seõ ñuoåi chuùng noù ra khoûi tröôùc maët ngöôi, ñeå laøm cho öùng nghieäm lôøi höùa Ngaøi ñaõ theà cuøng caùc toå phuï ngöôøi, laø Aùp-ra-ham, Y-saùc vaø Gia-coáp.

9:6 Understand therefore, that the LORD your God gives you not this good land to possess it for your righteousness; for you are a stubborn people.

9:6 Vaäy, khaù bieát raèng chaúng phaûi vì côù söï coâng bình ngöôi maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi cho ngöôi nhaän laáy xöù toát töôi naày ñaâu; bôûi ngöôi vaãn laø moät daân cöùng coå.

9:7 Remember, and forget not, how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that you did depart out of the land of Egypt, until all of you came unto this place, all of you have been rebellious against the LORD.

9:7 Haõy nhôù laïi, chôù queân raèng, trong ñoàng vaéng ngöôi ñaõ choïc giaän Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi. Töø ngaøy ra khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ cho ñeán choán naày, ngöôi thöôøng phaûn nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

9:8 Also in Horeb all of you provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.

9:8 Taïi Hoâ-reáp, caùc ngöôi cuõng ñaõ choïc giaän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; neân Ngaøi noåi thaïnh noä toan dieät caùc ngöôi.

9:9 When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:

9:9 Khi ta ñi leân nuùi ñaëng laõnh hai baûng ñaù, töùc laø hai baûng veà söï giao öôùc maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ laäp cuøng caùc ngöôi, ta ôû treân nuùi boán möôi ngaøy vaø boán möôi ñeâm, khoâng aên baùnh, chaúng uoáng nöôùc;

9:10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spoke with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

9:10 vaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va trao cho ta hai baûng ñaù, bôûi ngoùn tay Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vieát ra, coù ñuû nhöõng lôøi maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va töø giöõa löûa, taïi treân nuùi, coù phaùn ra cuøng caùc ngöôi, trong ngaøy nhoùm hieäp.

9:11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.

9:11 Xaûy khi boán möôi ngaøy vaø boán möôi ñeâm maõn roài, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ban cho ta hai baûng ñaù, töùc laø hai baûng veà söï giao öôùc.

9:12 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get you down quickly from behind; for your people which you have brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

9:12 Ñoaïn, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ta raèng: Haõy ñöùng daäy, mau mau xuoáng khoûi ñaây, vì daân maø ngöôi ñem ra khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ ñaõ töï baïi hoaïi, voäi boû ñaïo cuûa ta ñaõ truyeàn cho, maø cheá cho mình moät töôïng ñuùc.

9:13 Furthermore the LORD spoke unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stubborn people:

9:13 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laïi phaùn cuøng ta raèng: Ta nhìn xem daân naày, kìa laø moät daân cöùng coå.

9:14 Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.

9:14 Haõy ñeå maëc ta dieät chuùng noù, vaø xoùa teân chuùng noù khoûi döôùi trôøi, roài ta seõ laøm cho ngöôi thaønh moät daân toäc maïnh vaø lôùn hôn daân aáy.

9:15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands.

9:15 Vaäy, ta beøn xaây laïi ñi xuoáng nuùi, caû nuùi vaãn coù löûa chaùy: hai tay ta caàm hai baûng ñaù veà söï giao öôùc.

9:16 And I looked, and, behold, all of you had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: all of you had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.

9:16 Baáy giôø, ta nhìn xem, kìa caùc ngöôi ñaõ phaïm toäi cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va. Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi, raát voäi boû ñaïo Ngaøi ñaõ truyeàn cho, maø laøm cho mình moät con boø con ñuùc.

9:17 And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes.

9:17 Ta beøn naém hai baûng ñaù, lieäng ra khoûi tay, ñaäp beå tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi.

9:18 And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which all of you sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

9:18 Ñoaïn, vì côù caùc ngöôi laøm döõ, phaïm toäi troïng tröôùc maét Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, choïc cho Ngaøi giaän, neân ta laïi saáp mình xuoáng tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, trong boán möôi ngaøy vaø boán möôi ñeâm nhö laàn tröôùc, khoâng aên baùnh vaø chaúng uoáng nöôùc.

9:19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was angry against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.

9:19 Vì ta sôï côn thaïnh noä vaø töùc giaän cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ noåi phöøng leân, ñaëng dieät caùc ngöôi; nhöng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coøn nhaäm lôøi ta laàn naày nöõa.

9:20 And the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.

9:20 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuõng noåi noùng phöøng cuøng A-roân, ñeán ñoãi muoán gieát ngöôøi; song ta cuõng caàu nguyeän cho A-roân trong luùc ñoù.

9:21 And I took your sin, the calf which all of you had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.

9:21 Ñoaïn, ta laáy vaät toäi loãi cuûa caùc ngöôi, töùc laø con boø con maø caùc ngöôi ñaõ laøm, ñem ñoát trong löûa, ñaäp beå ra töøng mieáng, nghieàn cho ñeán ñoãi noù tan ra buïi, roài ñoå buïi aáy nôi khe ôû treân nuùi chaûy xuoáng.

9:22 And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibrothhattaavah, all of you provoked the LORD to wrath.

9:22 Caùc ngöôi cuõng coù choïc giaän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va taïi Tha-beâ-ra, taïi Ma-sa, vaø taïi Kíp-roát-Ha-tha-va.

9:23 Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then all of you rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and all of you believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.

9:23 Khi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va sai caùc ngöôi ñi töø Ca-ñe-Ba-neâ -a, coù daën raèng: Haõy ñi leân nhaän laáy xöù ta ban cho caùc ngöôi, thì caùc ngöôi ñaõ boäi nghòch maïng cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi, khoâng tin Ngaøi vaø khoâng nghe theo tieáng Ngaøi.

9:24 All of you have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you.

9:24 Töø ngaøy ta bieát caùc ngöôi cho ñeán baây giôø, caùc ngöôi thöôøng phaûn nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

9:25 Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you.

9:25 Vaäy, vì côù Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù phaùn raèng Ngaøi toan dieät caùc ngöôi, neân ta cöù saáp mình xuoáng tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va trong boán möôi ngaøy vaø boán möôi ñeâm,

9:26 I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not your people and yours inheritance, which you have redeemed through your greatness, which you have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

9:26 caàu khaån Ngaøi maø raèng: Chuùa Gieâ-hoâ-va oâi! xin chôù dieät daân söï cuûa Chuùa, laø cô nghieäp cuûa Chuùa, maø Chuùa ñaõ laáy söï oai nghieâm Ngaøi chuoäc laïi, vaø nhôø tay quyeàn naêng ruùt ra khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ.

9:27 Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:

9:27 Xin haõy nhôù ñeán nhöõng toâi tôù cuûa Chuùa laø Aùp-ra-ham, Y-saùc, vaø Gia-coáp, chôù chaáp söï cöùng loøng, hung döõ, vaø toäi aùc cuûa daân naày,

9:28 Lest the land whence you brought us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he has brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

9:28 e daân cuûa xöù maø Chuùa ñaõ ñem chuùng toâi ra khoûi ñoù, noùi raèng: Bôûi vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khoâng theá ñem daân aáy vaøo xöù Ngaøi ñaõ höùa, vaø vì Ngaøi gheùt chuùng noù, neân daãn chuùng noù ra khoûi xöù ñaëng gieát ñi trong ñoàng vaéng.

9:29 Yet they are your people and yours inheritance, which you brought out by your mighty power and by your stretched out arm.

9:29 Song chuùng voán laø daân söï vaø cô nghieäp cuûa Chuùa, maø Chuùa ñaõ duøng quyeàn naêng lôùn vaø caùnh tay giô thaúng ra, ruùt ra khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ.

10:1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew you two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make you an ark of wood.

10:8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

10:12 Vaäy, hôõi Y-sô-ra-eân, baây giôø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ñoøi ngöôi ñieàu chi? haù chaúng phaûi ñoøi ngöôi kính sôï Gieâ-hoâ-va, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi, ñi theo caùc ñaïo Ngaøi, heát loøng heát yù kính meán vaø phuïc söï Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi,
