1:1 The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
1:1 Naày laø lôøi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng Gioâ-eân, con trai cuûa Pheâ-thu-eân:
1:2 Hear this, all of you old men, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the land. Has this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
1:2 Hôõi keû giaø caû, haõy nghe ñieàu naày! Caùc ngöôi heát thaûy laø daân cö trong ñaát haõy laéng tai! Haù coù söï gì nhö vaäy ñaõ xaûy ñeán trong ngaøy caùc ngöôi, hay laø trong ngaøy toå phuï caùc ngöôi sao?
1:3 Tell all of you your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.
1:3 Haõy keå chuyeän naày laïi cho con caùi caùc ngöôi; con caùi caùc ngöôi keå cho con caùi chuùng noù, con caùi chuùng noù keå cho doøng doõi noái theo.
1:4 That which the palmerworm has left has the locust eaten; and that which the locust has left has the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm has left has the caterpillar eaten.
1:4 Caùi gì saâu keo coøn ñeå laïi caøo caøo aên; caùi gì caøo caøo coøn ñeå laïi, saâu loät voû aên; caùi gì saâu loät voû coøn ñeå laïi, chaâu chaáu aên.
1:5 Awake, all of you drunkards, and weep; and wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
1:5 Hôõi keû say söa, haõy thöùc daäy vaø khoùc loùc! Hôõi caùc ngöôi heát thaûy laø keû hay uoáng röôïu, haõy than vaõn vì côù röôïu ngoït ñaõ bò chaát khoûi mieäng caùc ngöôi!
1:6 For a nation has come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the cheek teeth of a great lion.
1:6 Vì moät daân maïnh vaø voâ soá, ñaõ leân nghòch cuøng ñaát ta; raêng noù laø raêng cuûa sö töû, noù coù raêng haøm cuûa sö töû caùi.
1:7 He has laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he has made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
1:7 Noù ñaõ huûy phaù caây nho ta vaø loät voû caây vaû ta. Noù ñaõ loät tieät caây aáy vaø boû ñi; nhaùnh noù ñaõ trôû neân traéng.
1:8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
1:8 Ngöôi khaù than khoùc nhö moät ngöôøi nöõ ñoàng trinh maëc bao gai ñaëng khoùc choàng mình thuôû coøn treû tuoåi!
1:9 The food offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn.
1:9 Cuûa leã chay vaø leã quaùn ñaõ caát khoûi nhaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; caùc thaày teá leã haàu vieäc Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñöông ôû trong söï tang cheá.
1:10 The field is wasted, the land mourns; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languishes.
1:10 Ñoàng ruoäng bò phaù hoang, vaø ñaát ñöông saàu thaûm; vì luùa mì bò huûy haïi, daàu môùi ñaõ caïn, daàu ñaõ hao toån.
1:11 Be all of you ashamed, O all of you husbandmen; wail, O all of you vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
1:11 Hôõi keû caøy ruoäng, haõy hoå theïn; hôõi keû laøm vöôøn nho haõy than khoùc, vì côù luùa mì vaø maïch nha, vì muøa ngoaøi ñoàng ñaõ maát.
1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
1:12 Caây nho khoâ heùo, caây vaû hao moøn; caây löïu cuõng nhö caây chaø laø, caây taàn, moïi caây coái ngoaøi ñoàng ñeàu khoâ heùo; söï vui veû ñaõ khoâ heùo ñi khoûi con trai loaøi ngöôøi!
1:13 Gird yourselves, and lament, all of you priests: wail, all of you ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, all of you ministers of my God: for the food offering and the drink offering is withheld from the house of your God.
1:13 Hôõi caùc thaày teá leã, haõy nòt löng vaø than khoùc. Hôõi caùc ngöôi laø keû laøm vieäc ôû baøn thôø, haõy thôû than. Hôõi keû chöùc dòch cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta, haõy ñeán maëc aùo bao gai maø naèm caû ñeâm! Vì cuûa leã chay vaø leã quaùn khoâng ñöôïc vaøo trong nhaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi!
1:14 Sanctify all of you a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
1:14 Khaù ñònh söï kieâng aên, goïi moät hoäi ñoàng troïng theå, nhoùm caùc tröôûng laõo vaø heát thaûy daân cö trong ñaát laïi nôi nhaø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi; vaø haõy keâu cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va!
1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
1:15 Oâi ngaøy aáy! vì ngaøy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ gaàn! Noù ñeán nhö moät tai vaï thaû ra bôûi Ñaáng Toaøn naêng.
1:16 Is not the food cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
1:16 Löông thöïc haù chaúng phaûi ñaõ döùt khoûi tröôùc maët chuùng ta, vaø söï vui möøng hôùn hôû haù chaúng phaûi ñaõ döùt khoûi nhaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta hay sao?
1:17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
1:17 Hoät gioáng ñaõ teo ñi döôùi nhöõng cuïc ñaát noù; kho ñuïn ñaõ huûy phaù, huaân laãm ñoå naùt, vì luùa mì khoâ heùo.
1:18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
1:18 Kìa, suùc vaät reân sieác! Kìa, baày boø boái roái! Aáy laø taïi chuùng noù khoâng coù ñoàng coû nöõa! Nhöõng baày chieân cuõng khoán khoå.
1:19 O LORD, to you will I cry: for the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field.
1:19 Hôõi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, toâi keâu caàu Ngaøi; vì löûa ñaõ nuoát nhöõng ñaùm coû nôi ñoàng vaéng, ngoïn löûa ñaõ thieâu heát thaûy caây coái ngoaøi ñoàng!
1:20 The beasts of the field cry also unto you: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
1:20 Thaät, nhöõng thuù ñoàng cuõng thôû gioác cho Ngaøi, vì caùc doøng nöôùc ñaõ khoâ, löûa ñaõ nuoát nhöõng ñaùm coû nôi ñoàng vaéng.
2:1 Blow all of you the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD comes, for it is nigh at hand;
2:1 Haõy thoåi keøn trong Si-oân; haõy thoåi vang ra treân nuùi thaùnh ta! Heát thaûy daân cö trong ñaát khaù ñeàu run raåy! Vì ngaøy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñeán, ngaøy aáy ñaõ gaàn:
2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
2:2 töùc laø ngaøy môø mòt vaø toái taêm, ngaøy cuûa maây vaø söông muø. Coù moät daân lôùn vaø maïnh ñeán nhö aùnh saùng sôùm mai giaõi ra treân nuùi, ñeán noãi töø tröôùc chöa heà coù, maø veà sau naày, veà muoân ñôøi sau naày cuõng seõ khoâng coù nhö vaäy nöõa.
2:3 A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
2:3 Tröôùc maët noù, coù löûa thieâu nuoát, sau löng noù, coù ngoïn löûa chaùy tieâu. Luùc tröôùc noù, ñaát naày nhö vöôøn EÂ-ñen; khi sau noù, aáy laø moät ñoàng vaéng hoang vu, vaø khoâng coù chi troán khoûi noù heát.
2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
2:4 Hình traïng chuùng noù nhö hình traïng ngöïa, vaø chuùng noù chaïy tôùi nhö ngöôøi côõi ngöïa.
2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
2:5 Khi chuùng noù nhaûy leân treân choùt nuùi, thì nghe nhö tieáng xe coä, hay laø nhö tieáng ngoïn löûa chaùy rôm: aáy laø nhö moät daân maïnh saép haønh nôi chieán traän.
2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
2:6 Khi thaáy chuùng noù, caùc daân ñeàu raàu ró, heát thaûy ñeàu söï taùi maët.
2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
2:7 Chuùng noù chaïy nhö nhöõng ngöôøi baïo maïnh; treøo caùc vaùch thaønh nhö nhöõng lính chieán; moãi ngöôøi böôùc ñi tröôùc maët mình, chaúng heà sai haøng nguõ mình.
2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
2:8 Chuùng noù chaúng heà ñuïng chaïm nhau, ai ñi ñöôøng naáy; xoâng qua nhöõng khí giôùi maø chaúng boû ñöôøng mình.
2:9 They shall run back and forth in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
2:9 Chuùng noù nhaûy treân thaønh phoá, chaïy treân töôøng, treøo leân caùc nhaø, vaøo bôûi caùc cöûa soå nhö laø keû troäm.
2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
2:10 Ñaát run raåy, tröôùc maët chuùng noù, caùc töøng trôøi rung rinh maët trôøi maët traêng ñeàu toái taêm, caùc ngoâi sao thaâu söï saùng laïi.
2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executes his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
2:11 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laøm cho vang tieáng ra tröôùc maët cô binh Ngaøi; vì traïi quaân Ngaøi raát lôùn; vaø nhöõng keû laøm theo maïng lònh Ngaøi raát maïnh. Thaät, ngaøy cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laø lôùn vaø ñaùng khieáp; ai coù theå ñöông laïi?
2:12 Therefore also now, says the LORD, turn all of you even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
2:12 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn: Baây giôø cuõng haõy heát loøng trôû veà cuøng ta, kieâng aên, khoùc loùc vaø buoàn raàu.
2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil.
2:13 Haõy xeù loøng caùc ngöôi, vaø ñöøng xeù aùo caùc ngöôi. Khaù trôû laïi cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi; vì Ngaøi laø nhôn töø vaø hay thöông xoùt, chaäm giaän vaø giaøu ôn, ñoåi yù veà söï tai vaï.
2:14 Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a food offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
2:14 Ai bieát ñöôïc Ngaøi seõ chaúng xaây loøng ñoåi yù, chaúng ñeå laïi phöôùc laønh sau mình, töùc laø cuûa leã chay, leã quaùn cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi, hay sao?
2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
2:15 Haõy thoåi keøn trong Si-oân; haõy ñònh söï kieâng aên, goïi moät hoäi ñoàng troïng theå!
2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go out of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
2:16 Haõy nhoùm daân söï, bieät rieâng hoäi chuùng neân thaùnh; haõy môøi caùc tröôûng laõo ñeán ñoù! Haõy hoïp laïi caùc con treû vaø nhöõng ñöùa ñöông buù vuù! Ngöôøi choàng môùi khaù ra khoûi buoàng mình, vaø ngöôøi vôï môùi khaù ra khoûi choán ñoäng phoøng!
2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not yours heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
2:17 Caùc thaày teá leã, laø nhöõng keû haàu vieäc Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, khaù khoùc loùc giöõa hieân cöûa vaø baøn thôø, vaø noùi raèng: Haõy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, xin haõy tieác daân Ngaøi, vaø chôù ñeå cô nghieäp Ngaøi bò sæ nhuïc, vaø bò caùc nöôùc cai trò! Laøm sao ñeå ngöôøi ta noùi giöõa caùc daân toäc raèng: Naøo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng noù ôû ñaâu!
2:18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
2:18 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ vì ñaát mình ñoäng loøng ghen; Ngaøi ñaõ ñoäng loøng thöông xoùt daân mình.
2:19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and all of you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
2:19 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ traû lôøi, vaø ñaõ phaùn cuøng daân mình raèng: Naày, ta seõ ban cho caùc ngöôi luùa mì, röôïu môùi, vaø daàu, caùc ngöôi seõ no neâ veà caùc thöù ñoù. Ta seõ chaúng laøm caùc ngöôi neân côù sæ nhuïc giöõa caùc daân nöõa.
2:20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he has done great things.
2:20 Ta seõ khieán ñaïo binh ñeán töø phöông baéc laùnh xa caùc ngöôi, vaø ñuoåi noù vaøo ñaát khoâ khan vaø hoang vu, quaân tieân phong noù vaøo bieån ñoâng. Quaân haäu taäp noù vaø bieån taây. Muøi hoâi noù bay leân, muøi tanh noù daäy leân, vì noù ñaõ laøm nhöõng vieäc lôùn.
2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
2:21 Hôõi ñaát, chôù sôï chi; haõy nöùc loøng vui veû vaø möøng rôõ; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ laøm nhöõng vieäc lôùn.
2:22 Be not afraid, all of you beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
2:22 Hôõi caùc loaøi thuù ñoàng, ñöøng sôï; vì nhöõng ñaùm coû nôi ñoàng vaéng nöùt ñoït, caây ra traùi, caây vaû vaø caây nho ñeàu ra söùc noù.
2:23 Be glad then, all of you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
2:23 Hôõi con caùi Si-oân, caùc ngöôi haõy nöùc loøng vui veû vaø möøng rôõ trong Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi! Vì Ngaøi ban möa phaûi thôøi cho caùc ngöôi veà muøa ñaàu, vaø xuoáng möa doài daøo veà muøa ñaàu vaø muøa cuoái cho caùc ngöôi nôi thaùng ñaàu tieân.
2:24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
2:24 Nhöõng saân seõ ñaày luùa mì, nhöõng thuøng traøn röôïu môùi vaø daàu.
2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
2:25 Ta seõ ñeàn buø cho caùc ngöôi veà maáy naêm ñaõ bò caén phaù bôûi caøo caøo, saâu loät voû, saâu keo, vaø chaâu chaáu, laø ñaïo binh lôùn maø ta ñaõ sai ñeán giöõa caùc ngöôi.
2:26 And all of you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
2:26 Caùc ngöôi seõ ñuû aên vaø ñöôïc no neâ. Caùc ngöôi seõ ngôïi khen danh Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình, laø Ñaáng ñaõ xöû vôùi caùc ngöôi caùch laï luøng. Roài daân ta seõ khoâng heà bò xaáu hoå nöõa.
2:27 And all of you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
2:27 Chuùng noù seõ bieát raèng ta ôû giöõa Y-sô-ra-eân, bieát raèng ta laø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi, vaø chaúng coù ai khaùc; daân ta seõ khoâng heà bò xaáu hoå nöõa.
2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
2:28 Sau ñoù, ta seõ ñoå Thaàn ta treân caùc loaøi xaùc thòt; con trai vaø con gaùi caùc ngöôi seõ noùi tieân tri; nhöõng ngöôøi giaø caû caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy chieâm bao, nhöõng keû trai treû caùc ngöôi seõ xem söï hieän thaáy.
2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
2:29 Trong nhöõng ngaøy ñoù, daàu nhöõng ñaày tôù trai vaø ñaày tôù gaùi, ta cuõng ñoå Thaàn ta leân.
2:30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
2:30 Ta seõ toû nhöõng söï laï ra trong caùc töøng trôøi vaø treân ñaát: töùc laø maùu löûa, vaø nhöõng truï khoùi.
2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
2:31 Maët trôøi seõ ñoåi ra toái taêm, maët traêng ra maùu, tröôùc khi ngaøy lôùn vaø kinh khieáp cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va chöa ñeán.
2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
2:32 Baáy giôø ai caàu khaån danh Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va thì seõ ñöôïc cöùu; vì theo lôøi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, thì ôû treân nuùi Si-oân vaø trong Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, seõ coù nhöõng ngöôøi coøn soáng soùt, seõ coù keû maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va keâu goïi.
3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
3:1 Vì naày, trong nhöõng ngaøy ñoù, vaø trong kyø ñoù, khi ta seõ ñem phu tuø cuûa Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem trôû veà,
3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3:2 thì ta seõ nhoùm heát thaûy caùc nöôùc laïi, vaø ñem chuùng noù xuoáng trong truõng Gioâ-sa-phaùt. Taïi ñoù, ta seõ phaùn xeùt chuùng noù vì côù daân ta, vaø Y-sô-ra-eân laø saûn nghieäp ta, maø chuùng noù ñaõ laøm cho tan taùc giöõa caùc daân toäc; vaø chuùng noù ñaõ chia ñaát ta ra,
3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
3:3 vaø baét thaêm veà daân ta; ñaõ ñoåi con trai maø laáy ñó, vaø baùn con gaùi ñaëng laáy röôïu ñeå uoáng.
3:4 Yea, and what have all of you to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will all of you render me a recompence? and if all of you recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
3:4 Hôõi Ty-rô vaø Si-ñoân, vaø heát thaûy ñòa haït cuûa Phi-li-tin, caùc ngöôi coù quan heä gì cuøng ta? Caùc ngöôi muoán baùo traû ta, ta seõ khieán söï baùo traû ñoå treân ñaàu caùc ngöôi caùch mau kíp vaø thình lình.
3:5 Because all of you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
3:5 Vì caùc ngöôi ñaõ laáy baïc vaøng ta ñi, ñaõ ñem ñoà chaâu baùu raát quí cuûa ta vaøo trong nhöõng ñeàn mieáu caùc ngöôi.
3:6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have all of you sold unto the Grecians, that all of you might remove them far from their border.
3:6 Caùc ngöôi ñaõ baùn con caùi cuûa Giu-ña vaø con caùi cuûa Gieâ-ru-sa-lem cho caùc con trai Gôø-reùc, ñaëng laøm cho chuùng noù lìa khoûi bôø coõi mình.
3:7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place where all of you have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
3:7 naày, ta seõ giuïc chuùng noù daáy leân töø nôi maø caùc ngöôi ñaõ baùn chuùng noù cho, vaø seõ khieán söï baùo traû caùc ngöôi veà treân ñaàu caùc ngöôi.
3:8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD has spoken it.
3:8 Ta seõ baùn con trai con gaùi caùc ngöôi vaø tay con caùi Giu-ña, Giu-ña seõ baùn chuùng noù cho ngöôøi Sa-beâ, laø daân ôû xa caùch; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn vaäy.
3:9 Proclaim all of you this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
3:9 Haõy rao ñieàu naày ra giöõa caùc nöôùc: Khaù saém söûa söï ñaùnh giaëc, giuïc loøng nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh baïo daáy leân. Heát thaûy nhöõng lính chieán khaù saán tôùi, vaø xoâng vaøo traän!
3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
3:10 Haõy laáy löôõi caøy reøn göôm, laáy lieàm reøn giaùo. Keû yeáu khaù noùi raèng: Ta laø maïnh!
3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all you heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause your mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
3:11 Caùc ngöôi heát thaûy, laø nhöõng nöôùc xung quanh, haõy voäi vaøng ñeán, vaø haõy nhoùm laïi. Hôõi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, xin khieán nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh meõ cuûa Ngaøi xuoáng ñoù!
3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
3:12 Caùc nöôùc khaù daáy leân, khaù leân trong truõng Gioâ-sa-phaùt, vì ôû ñoù laø nôi ta seõ ngoài ñaëng phaùn xeùt heát thaûy caùc daân toäc xung quanh.
3:13 Put all of you in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the wine-vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
3:13 Haõy tra löôõi laùi, vì muøa gaët ñaõ chín. Haõy ñeán, haõy ñaïp, vì baøn eùp ñaõ ñaày; caùc thuøng ñaõ traøn, vi toäi aùc chuùng noù laø lôùn.
3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
3:14 Ñoaøn ñoâng döôøng naøo, ñoaøn ñoâng döôøng naøo taïi trong truõng ñoaùn ñònh! Vì trong truõng ñoaùn ñònh, ngaøy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ gaàn.
3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
3:15 Maët trôøi vaø maët traêng toái taêm, caùc ngoâi sao thaâu söï saùng laïi.
3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
3:16 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va gaàm theùt töø Si-oân; Ngaøi laø cho vang tieáng mình ra töø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; caùc töøng trôøi vaø ñaát ñaàu ruùng ñoäng. Nhöng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø nôi aån naùu cho daân mình, laø ñoàn luõy cho con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân.
3:17 So shall all of you know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
3:17 Nhö vaäy caùc ngöôi seõ bieát ta laø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi, ôû taïi Si-oân, laø nuùi thaùnh ta. Baáy giôø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem seõ laø thaùnh, vaø nhöõng ngöôøi ngoaïi seõ khoâng ñi qua trong ñoù nöõa.
3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
3:18 Trong ngaøy ñoù, caùc nuùi nhoû röôïu ngoït ra; söõa chaûy ra töø caùc ñoài, heát thaûy caùc khe Giu-ña seõ coù nöôùc chaûy. Moät caùi suoái seõ ra töø nhaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø töôùi truõng Si-tim.
3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
3:19 EÂ-díp-toâ seõ trôû neân hoang vu EÂ-ñoâm thaønh ta ñoàng vaéng hoang vu, vì côù chuùng noù laáy söï baïo ngöôïc ñaõi con caùi Giu-ña, vaø laøm ñoå maùu voâ toäi ra trong ñaát mình.
3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
3:20 Nhöng Giu-ña seõ coøn ñôøi ñôøi, Gieâ-ru-sa-lem seõ coøn ñôøi naày qua ñôøi khaùc.
3:21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwells in Zion.
3:21 Ta seõ laøm saïch maùu chuùng noù maø ta chöa töøng laøm saïch; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ngöï trong Si-oân.
