 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

13:1 And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader.

13:1 Ña-vít hoäi nghò vôùi quan töôùng ngaøn quaân, quan töôùng traêm quaân, cuøng caùc quan tröôûng cuûa daân.

13:2 And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:

13:2 Ña-vít noùi vôùi caû hoäi chuùng Y-sô-ra-eân raèng: Neáu caùc ngöôi laáy ñeàu naày laøm toát laønh, vaø neáu söï naày do nôi Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta maø ñeán, thì ta haõy sai ngöôøi ñi khaép moïi nôi, ñeán cuøng anh em chuùng ta coøn laïi ôû khaép xöù Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø ñeán cuøng nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi ôû trong caùc thaønh ñòa haït chuùng, ñeå nhoùm chuùng laïi cuøng ta;

13:3 And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.

13:3 roài chuùng ta phaûi thænh hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi veà cuøng chuùng ta; vì trong ñôøi Sau-lô, chuùng ta khoâng coù ñeán tröôùc hoøm giao öôùc maø caàu vaán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

13:4 And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

13:4 Caû hoäi chuùng ñeàu noùi raèng neân laøm nhö vaäy; vì caû daân söï laáy lôøi aáy laøm toát laønh.

13:5 So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim.

13:5 Ña-vít beøn nhoùm caû Y-sô-ra-eân, töø Si-ho, khe EÂ-díp-toâ, cho ñeán nôi naøo Ha-maùt, ñeå röôùc hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi töø Ki-ri-aùt-Gieâ -a-rim veà.

13:6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwells between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.

13:6 Ña-vít vaø caû Y-sô-ra-eân ñoàng ñi leân Ba -a-la, taïi Ki-ri-aùt-Gieâ -a-rim, thuoäc veà Giu-ña, ñaëng röôùc hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi leân, töùc laø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ngöï giöõa Cheâ-ru-bin, laø nôi caàu khaån danh cuûa Ngaøi.

13:7 And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart.

13:7 Chuùng röôùc hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi töø nhaø A-bi-na-ñaùp, ñeå leân treân moät caùi coä môùi; coøn U-xa vaø A-hi-oâ thì daét coä.

13:8 And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.

13:8 Ña-vít vaø caû Y-sô-ra-eân ñeàu heát söùc vui chôi tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, xöôùng ca, duøng ñôøn caàm, ñôøn saét, troáng nhoû, chaäp choûa, vaø keøn maø vui möøng.

13:9 And when they came unto the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.

13:9 Khi chuùng ñeán saân ñaïp luùa cuûa Ki-ñoân, U-xa beøn giô tay ra naém laáy hoøm, bôûi vì boø trôït böôùc.

13:10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he stroke him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

13:10 côn thònh noä cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va noåi leân cuøng U-xa, vaø Ngaøi ñaùnh ngöôøi, bôûi vì ngöôøi coù giô tay ra treân hoøm; ngöôøi beøn cheát taïi ñoù tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

13:11 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.

13:11 Ña-vít chaúng vöøa yù, vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ haønh haï U-xa; ngöôøi goïi nôi aáy laø Beâ-reát -U-xa, haõy coøn goïi vaäy cho ñeán ngaøy nay.

13:12 And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?

13:12 Trong ngaøy aáy, Ña-vít laáy laøm sôï haõi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, maø noùi raèng: Ta röôùc hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaøo nhaø ta sao ñöôïc?

13:13 So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.

13:13 Vaäy, Ña-vít khoâng thænh hoøm veà nhaø mình taïi trong thaønh Ña-vít, nhöng bôûi ñem ñeå vaøo nhaø OÂ-beát-EÂ-ñoâm, laø ngöôøi Gaùt.

13:14 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.

13:14 Hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ôû ba thaùng trong nhaø OÂ-beát-EÂ-ñoâm; Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ban phöôùc cho nhaø OÂ-beát-EÂ-ñoâm vaø moïi vaät thuoäc veà ngöôøi.

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

14:1 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with stone workers and carpenters, to build him an house.

14:1 Hi-ram, vua Ty-rô, sai söù giaû ñeán Ña-vít, cuøng gôûi goã baù höông, thôï hoà, thôï moäc, ñaëng caát cho ngöôøi moät caùi cung.

14:2 And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.

14:2 Ña-vít nhìn bieát raèng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ vöõng laäp mình laøm vua treân Y-sô-ra-eân; vì côù daân Y-sô-ra-eân cuûa Ngaøi, nöôùc ngöôøi ñöôïc höng vöôïng theâm.

14:3 And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David brings forth more sons and daughters.

14:3 Taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, Ña-vít laïi coøn laáy vôï khaùc, vaø sanh nhöõng con trai con gaùi.

14:4 Now these are the names of his children which he had in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,

14:4 Naày laø teân caùc con caùi ngöôøi sanh taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem: Sa-mua, Soâ-haùp, Na-than, Sa-loâ-moân,

14:5 And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,

14:5 Gi-ba, EÂ-li-sua, Eân-beâ-leát,

14:6 And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

14:6 Noâ-ga, Neâ-pheát, Gia-phia,

14:7 And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.

14:7 EÂ-li-sa-ma, Beâ-eân-gia-ña, vaø EÂ-li-pheâ-leát.

14:8 And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.

14:8 Khi daân Phi-li-tin hay raèng Ña-vít ñaõ ñöôïc xöùc daàu laøm vua treân caû Y-sô-ra-eân, thì heát thaûy ngöôøi Phi-li-tin ñeàu ñi leân ñaëng tìm ngöôøi; Ña-vít hay ñeàu ñoù, beøn ñi ra ñoùn chuùng noù.

14:9 And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

14:9 Vaû daân Phi-li-tin ñaõ loaùn ñeán, traøn ra trong truõng Reâ-pha-im.

14:10 And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? And will you deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into yours hand.

14:10 Ña-vít caàu vaán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: Toâi phaûi ñi leân ñaùnh daân Phi-li-tin chaêng? Chuùa seõ phoù chuùng noù vaøo tay toâi chaêng? Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaùp lôøi cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Haõy ñi leân, ta seõ phoù chuùng noù vaøo tay ngöôi.

14:11 So they came up to Baalperazim; and David stroke them there. Then David said, God has broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking out of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.

14:11 Ngaøi Phi-li-tin keùo leân Ba-anh-Pheâ-raùt-sim, roài taïi ñoù Ña-vít ñaùnh chuùng noù; ñoaïn, Ña-vít noùi raèng: Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù duøng tay ta ñaõ ñaùnh phaù côn thònh noä ta, nhö nöôùc phaù vôõ vaäy; bôûi côù aáy ngöôøi ta goïi choã ñoù laø Ba-anh-Pheâ-raùt-sim.

14:12 And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

14:12 Ngöôøi Phi-li-tin boû caùc thaàn töôïng mình taïi ñoù; Ña-vít truyeàn thieâu noù trong löûa.

14:13 And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.

14:13 Ngöôøi Phi-li-tin laïi buûa khaép trong truõng.

14:14 Therefore David enquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them opposite to the mulberry trees.

14:14 Ña-vít caàu vaán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nöõa; Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaùp vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Ngöôi chôù ñi leân theo chuùng noù; haõy ñi voøng chuùng noù, roài ñeán haõm ñaùnh chuùng noù taïi nôi ñoái ngang caây daâu.

14:15 And it shall be, when you shall hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then you shall go out to battle: for God is gone forth before you to strike the host of the Philistines.

14:15 Vöøa khi ngöôi nghe tieáng böôùc ñi treân ngoïn caây daâu, baáy giôø ngöôi seõ keùo ra traän; vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ra tröôùc ngöôi ñaëng haõm ñaùnh ñaïo quaân Phi-li-tin.

14:16 David therefore did as God commanded him: and they stroke the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer.

14:16 Ña-vít laøm y nhö lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ phaùn daën; hoï ñaùnh ñuoåi ñaïo quaân Phi-li-tin töø Ga-ba-oân cho ñeán Gheâ-xe.

14:17 And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the LORD brought the fear of him upon all nations.

15:1 And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

15:1 Ña-vít caát cho mình nhöõng cung ñieän taïi thaønh Ña-vít, vaø saém söûa moät nôi cho hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, cuøng döïng nhaø traïi cho hoøm aáy.

15:2 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them has the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

15:2 Khi aáy Ña-vít beøn noùi raèng: Ngoaïi tröø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, chaúng ai xöùng ñaùng khieâng hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø haàu vieäc Ngaøi luoân luoân.

15:3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

15:3 Ña-vít beøn nhoùm caû Y-sô-ra-eân taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ñaëng thænh hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi veà nôi ngöôøi ñaõ saém söûa cho hoøm.

15:4 And David assembled the children of Aaron, and the Levites:

15:4 Ña-vít cuõng hoäi laïi caùc con chaùu A-roân vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi:

15:5 Of the sons of Kohath; Uriel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twenty:

15:5 veà doøng Keâ-haùt coù U-ri-eân, laø tröôûng toäc, cuøng caùc anh em ngöôøi, ñöôïc hai traêm hai möôi ngöôøi;

15:6 Of the sons of Merari; Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty:

15:6 veà doøng Meâ-ra-ri coù A-sa-gia, laø tröôûng toäc, cuøng caùc anh em ngöôøi, ñöôïc hai traêm hai möôi ngöôøi;

15:7 Of the sons of Gershom; Joel the chief and his brethren an hundred and thirty:

15:7 veà doøng Gheït-soân coù Gioâ-eân, laø tröôûng toäc, cuøng caùc anh em ngöôøi, ñöôïc moät traêm ba möôi ngöôøi;

15:8 Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred:

15:8 veà doøng EÂ-li-sa-phan coù Seâ-ma-gia, laø tröôûng toäc, cuøng caùc anh em ngöôøi, ñöôïc hai traêm ngöôøi;

15:9 Of the sons of Hebron; Eliel the chief, and his brethren fourscore:

15:9 veà doøng Heáp-roân coù EÂ-li-eân, laø tröôûng toäc, cuøng caùc anh em ngöôøi, ñöôïc taùm möôi ngöôøi;

15:10 Of the sons of Uzziel; Amminadab the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twelve.

15:10 veà doøng U-xi-eân coù A-mi-na-ñaùp, laø tröôûng toäc, cuøng caùc anh em ngöôøi, ñöôïc moät traêm möôøi hai ngöôøi.

15:11 And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

15:11 Ña-vít goïi thaày teá leã Xa-ñoác, A-bia-tha, vaø nhöõng ngöôøi Leâ-vi, töùc U-ri-eân, A-sa-gia, Gioâ-eân, Seâ-ma-gia, EÂ-li-eân, vaø A-mi-na-ñaùp, maø baûo raèng:

15:12 And said unto them, All of you are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both all of you and your brethren, that all of you may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

15:12 Caùc ngöôi laø toäc tröôûng cuûa chi phaùi Leâ-vi; vaäy, haõy cuøng anh em caùc ngöôi doïn mình cho thaùnh saïch, roài khieâng hoøm cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân ñeán nôi maø ta ñaõ saém saün cho hoøm.

15:13 For because all of you did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

15:13 Vì taïi laàn tröôùc caùc ngöôi khoâng theo leä ñaõ ñònh maø caàu vaán Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; neân Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta ñaõ haønh haï chuùng ta.

15:14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

15:14 Vaäy, nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi doïn mình cho thaùnh saïch ñaëng thænh hoøm cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

15:15 And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.

15:15 Caùc con chaùu Leâ-vi duøng ñoøn khieâng hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi treân vai mình, y nhö Moâi-se ñaõ daïy baûo tuøy lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

15:16 And David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

15:16 Ña-vít truyeàn cho caùc tröôûng toäc ngöôøi Leâ-vi; haõy caét trong anh em hoï nhöõng ngöôøi haùt xöôùng, caàm caùc thöù nhaïc khí, oáng quyeån, ñôøn caàm, chaäp choûa ñeå caát tieáng vui möøng vang reàn leân.

15:17 So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

15:17 Ngöôøi Leâ-vi beøn caét Heâ-man, con trai cuûa Gioâ-eân, vaø A-saùp, con trai cuûa Beâ-reâ-kia thuoäc trong doøng hoï ngöôøi; laïi veà doøng Meâ-ra-ri, laø anh em hoï, thì ñaët EÂ-than, con trai cuûa Cu-sa-gia;

15:18 And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.

15:18 chung vôùi caùc ngöôi aáy laïi laäp nhöõng anh em doøng thöù, laø Xa-cha-ri, Beân, Gia-xi-eân, Seâ-mi-ra-moát, Gieâ-hi-eân, U-ni, EÂ-li-aùp, Beâ-na-gia, Ma -a-xeâ-gia, OÂ-beát-EÂ-ñoâm, vaø Gieâ -i-eân, laø ngöôøi giöõ cöûa.

15:19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

15:19 Nhöõng ngöôøi haùt xöôùng, laø Heâ-man, A-saùp, vaø EÂ-than, duøng nhöõng chaäp choûa ñoàng, ñaëng vang daày leân;

15:20 And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

15:20 Xa-cha-ri, A-xi-eân, Seâ-mi-ra-moát, Gieâ-hi-eân, U-ni, EÂ-li-aùp, Ma -a-xeâ-gia, vaø Beâ-na-gia, duøng oáng quyeån thoåi theo ñieäu A-la-moát;

15:21 And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

15:21 Coøn Ma-ti-thia, EÂ-li-pheâ-leâ, Mích-neâ-gia, OÂ-beát-OÂ-ñoâm, Gieâ -i-eân, vaø A-xa-xia, ñeàu duøng ñôøn caàm ñaùnh theo gioïng Seâ-mi-nít, ñaëng daãn tieáng haùt.

15:22 And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

15:22 Keâ-na-nia, tröôûng toäc ngöôøi Leâ-vi, cai vieäc ca xöôùng, vaø daïy haùt, vì ngöôøi gioûi veà ngheà aáy.

15:23 And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

15:23 coøn Beâ-reâ-kia vaø Eân-ca-na giöõ cöûa tröôùc hoøm giao öôùc.

15:24 And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

15:24 Seâ-ba-nia, Gioâ-sa-phaùt, Neâ-tha-neâ-eân, A-ma-xai, Xa-cha-ri, Beâ-na-gia, vaø EÂ-li-eâ-se, töùc laø nhöõng thaày teá leã, ñeàu thoåi keøn tröôùc hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; OÂ-beát-EÂ-ñoâm vaø Gieâ-hi-gia giöõ cöûa tröôùc hoøm giao öôùc.

15:25 So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy.

15:25 Vaäy, Ña-vít, caùc tröôûng laõo cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø caùc quan töôùng ngaøn quaân, ñeàu ñi thænh hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va leân töø nhaø cuûa OÂ-beát-EÂ-ñoâm caùch vui möøng.

15:26 And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

15:26 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phuø trôï ngöôøi Leâ-vi khieâng hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, thì ngöôøi ta teá leã baûy con boø ñöïc vaø baûy con chieân ñöïc.

15:27 And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

15:27 Ña-vít vaø caùc ngöôøi Leâ-vi khieâng hoøm, keû ca haùt, vaø Keâ-na-nia, laøm ñaàu nhöõng keû haùt, ñeàu maëc aùo vaûi gai mòn; Ña-vít cuõng maëc treân mình moät caùi eâ-phoùt baèng vaûi gai.

15:28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.

15:28 Nhö vaäy caû Y-sô-ra-eân ñeàu thænh hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va leân, coù tieáng vui möøng, tieáng coøi, tieáng keøn, chaäp choûa, vaø vang daày gioïng ñôøn caàm ñôøn saét.

15:29 And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal, the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.

15:29 Khi hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñeán thaønh Ña-vít, thì Mi-canh, con gaùi cuûa Sau-lô, ngoù ngang qua cöûa soå, thaáy vua Ña-vít nhaûy nhoùt vui chôi, thì trong loøng khinh bæ ngöôøi.

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

16:1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

16:1 Chuùng thænh hoøm cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi veà, ñeå trong traïi cuûa Ña-vít ñaõ döïng leân cho noù; ñoaïn daâng nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu vaø cuûa leã bình an taïi tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

16:2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

16:2 Khi Ña-vít ñaõ daâng cuûa leã thieâu vaø cuûa leã bình an xong, beøn nhôn danh Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va chuùc phöôùc cho daân söï;

16:3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

16:3 ñoaïn phaân phaùt cho heát thaûy ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân, caû nam vaø nöõ, moãi ngöôøi moät oå baùnh, moät mieáng thòt, vaø moät caùi baùnh nho khoâ.

16:4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

17:1 Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remains under curtains.

17:1 Khi Ña-vít ôû trong nhaø mình, beøn noùi vôùi tieân tri Na-than raèng: Naày ta ôû trong nhaø baèng goã baù höông, coøn hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ôû döôùi nhöõng böùc maøn.

17:2 Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in yours heart; for God is with you.

17:2 Na-than taâu vôùi Ña-vít raèng: Haõy laøm theo ñieàu ôû trong loøng vua, vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ôû cuøng vua.

17:3 And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying,

17:3 Xaûy trong ñeâm ñoù, coù lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn cuøng Na-than raèng:

17:4 Go and tell David my servant, Thus says the LORD, You shall not build me an house to dwell in:

17:4 Haõy ñi noùi cuøng Ña-vít, toâi tôù ta raèng: Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn nhö vaày: Ngöôi chôù caát ñeàn cho ta ôû;

17:5 For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.

17:5 vì töø khi ta daãn Y-sô-ra-eân leân khoûi EÂ-díp-toâ cho ñeán ngaøy nay, ta khoâng ôû trong ñeàn naøo heát; nhöng ta ôû töø traïi naày ñeán traïi kia, töø nhaø taïm naày ñeán nhaø taïm noï.

17:6 Where ever I have walked with all Israel, spoke I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have all of you not built me an house of cedars?

17:6 Phaøm nôi naøo ta ñoàng ñi veà caû Y-sô-ra-eân, ta haù coù phaùn baûo moät ngöôøi naøo trong caùc quan xeùt Y-sô-ra-eân, töùc ngöôøi maø ta truyeàn baûo chaên daân ta, maø raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi khoâng caát cho ta moät caùi ñeàn baèng goã baù höông?

17:7 Now therefore thus shall you say unto my servant David, Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that you should be ruler over my people Israel:

17:7 Baây giôø, ngöôi haõy noùi cuøng Ña-vít toâi tôù ta nhö veà: Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuûa vaïn quaân phaùn nhö vaày: Ta ñaõ laáy ngöôi töø chuoàng chieân, töø sau nhöõng con chieân, ñaëng laäp ngöôi laøm vua chuùa treân daân Y-sô-ra-eân ta;

17:8 And I have been with you anywhere you have walked, and have cut off all yours enemies from before you, and have made you a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.

17:8 phaøm nôi naøo ngöôi ñaõ ñi, ta vaãn ôû cuøng ngöôi, tröø dieät caùc thuø nghòch khoûi tröôùc maët ngöôi; ta seõ laøm cho ngöôi ñöôïc danh lôùn, nhö danh cuûa keû cao troïng ôû treân ñaát.

17:9 Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,

17:9 Ta seõ saém saün moät choán ôû cho daân Y-sô-ra-eân ta, vun troàng chuùng ñeå chuùng ôû nôi mình, seõ khoâng coøn bò khuaáy roái, con loaøi aùc seõ chaúng laøm baïi hoaïi chuùng nhö khi tröôùc nöõa,

17:10 And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all yours enemies. Furthermore I tell you that the LORD will build you an house.

17:10 nhö töø ngaøy ta ñaõ laäp quan xeùt treân daân Y-sô-ra-eân ta; ta seõ khieán caùc thuø nghòch ngöôi phuïc döôùi ngöôi. Laïi ta baùo cho ngöôi bieát raèng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ caát cho ngöôi moät caùi nhaø.

17:11 And it shall come to pass, when your days be expired that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will raise up your seed after you, which shall be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

17:11 Xaûy khi caùc ngaøy ngöôi ñaõ maõn vaø ngöôi phaûi veà cuøng toå phuï ngöôi, aét ta seõ laäp doøng doõi ngöôi leân laø con trai cuûa ngöôi, ñaëng keá vò ngöôi; ta seõ laøm cho nöôùc ngöôøi vöõng chaéc.

17:12 He shall build me an house, and I will establish his throne for ever.

17:12 Ngöôøi aáy seõ caát cho ta moät caùi ñeàn, vaø ta seõ laøm cho ngoâi nöôùc ngöôøi vöõng beàn ñeán ñôøi ñôøi.

17:13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before you:

17:13 Ta seõ laøm cho ngöôøi, ngöôøi ñoù seõ laøm con ta; söï nhaân töø ta seõ chaúng caát khoûi ngöôøi ñaâu, nhö ta ñaõ caát khoûi keû ôû tröôùc ngöôi;

17:14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

17:14 song ta seõ laäp ngöôøi ñôøi ñôøi taïi trong nhaø ta vaø taïi trong nöôùc ta; coøn ngoâi nöôùc ngöôøi seõ ñöôïc vöõng chaéc cho ñeán maõi maõi.

17:15 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

17:15 Na-than theo caùc lôøi naày vaø söï maëc thò naày maø taâu laïi vôùi Ña-vít.

17:16 And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that you have brought me until now?

17:16 Vua Ña-vít vaøo, ngoài tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, maø thöa raèng: Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi oâi! toâi laø ai vaø nhaø toâi laø gì, maø Chuùa ñem toâi ñeán ñaây?

17:17 And yet this was a small thing in yours eyes, O God; for you have also spoken of your servant's house for a great while to come, and have regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

17:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi oâi! ôn ñoù Chuùa laáy laøm nhoû moïn thay; nhöng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi oâi! Chuùa coù höùa ban ôn cho nhaø cuûa toâi tôù Chuùa trong buoåi töông lai ñeán laâu daøi, vaø coù ñoaùi xem toâi theo haøng ngöôøi cai trò!

17:18 What can David speak more to you for the honour of your servant? for you know your servant.

17:18 Chuùa laøm cho ñaày tôù Ngaøi ñöôïc sang troïng nhö theá, thì Ña-vít coøn noùi gì ñöôïc nöõa? vì Chuùa bieát ñaày tôù Chuùa.

17:19 O LORD, for your servant's sake, and according to yours own heart, have you done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.

17:19 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va oâi! Ngaøi ñaõ theo yù loøng mình maø laøm caùc vieäc lôùn naày cho ñaày tôù cuûa Ngaøi, ñaëng baøy ra caùc söï caû theå naày.

17:20 O LORD, there is none like you, neither is there any God beside you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

17:20 Oâi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, chaúng coù ai gioáng nhö Ngaøi, vaø cöù theo moïi ñieàu loã tai chuùng toâi ñaõ nghe, ngoaïi Ngaøi chaúng coù ai laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

17:21 And what one nation in the earth is like your people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make you a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before your people whom you have redeemed out of Egypt?

17:21 Chôù thì treân theá gian coù daân toäc naøo gioáng nhö daân Y-sô-ra-eân cuûa Chuùa, moät daân toäc maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñi chuoäc laïi laøm daân rieâng cuûa Ngaøi, sao? 17:22 For your people Israel did you make yours own people for ever; and you, LORD, became their God.

17:22 Vì daân Y-sô-ra-eân, Chuùa ñaõ khieán thaønh daân rieâng cuûa Ngaøi ñeán ñôøi ñôøi; coøn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va oâi, Ngaøi trôû neân Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa hoï.

17:23 Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as you have said.

17:23 Baây giôø, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va oâi! nguyeän lôøi Ngaøi ñaõ höùa veà toâi tôù Ngaøi vaø veà nhaø noù ñöôïc öùng nghieäm ñeán ñôøi ñôøi, caàu Chuùa laøm y nhö Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn.

17:24 Let it even be established, that your name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David your servant be established before you.

17:24 Nguyeän ñieàu aáy ñöôïc toân vinh ñôøi ñôøi, ñeå ngöôøi ta noùi raèng: Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaïn quaân, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, töùc laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cho Y-sô-ra-eân; coøn nhaø Ña-vít, laø toâi tôù Chuùa, ñöôïc ñöùng vöõng tröôùc maët Chuùa!

17:25 For you, O my God, have told your servant that you will build him an house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray before you.

17:25 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi oâi! Chuùa coù baøy toû cho keû toâi tôù Chuùa bieát raèng Chuùa seõ laäp moät caùi nhaø cho ngöôøi; bôûi ñoù cho neân keû toâi tôù Chuùa daùm caàu nguyeän ôû tröôùc maët Chuùa.

17:26 And now, LORD, you are God, and have promised this goodness unto your servant:

17:26 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va oâi! Ngaøi laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Ngaøi ñaõ höùa ñieàu laønh naày vôùi toâi tôù Chuùa;

17:27 Now therefore let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may be before you for ever: for you bless, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever.

17:27 theá thì, nay caàu xin Chuùa ban phöôùc nhaø keû toâi tôù Chuùa, haàu cho noù haèng coøn ôû tröôùc maët Chuùa; vì, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va oâi! heã Ngaøi ban phöôùc cho noù, thì noù seõ ñöôïc phöôùc ñeán ñôøi ñôøi.

18:3 Ña-vít ñaùnh Ha-ña-reâ-xe, vua Xoâ-ba, taïi Ha-maùt, khi ngöôøi ñöông ñi laäp nöôùc mình treân soâng Ô-phô-raùt.

18:4 And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also cut the hamstrings of all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.

18:4 Ña-vít chieám laáy cuûa ngöôøi moät ngaøn coã xe, baûy ngaøn lính kî, vaø hai vaïn lính boä; Ña-vít caét nhöôïng cuûa caùc ngöïa keùo xe, duy chöøa laïi moät traêm con.

18:5 And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

18:5 Daân Sy-ri ôû Ña-maùch ñeán cöùu giuùp Ha-ña-reâ-xe, vua Xoâ-ba, Ña-vít beøn gieát chuùng hai vaïn hai ngaøn ngöôøi.

18:6 Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David anywhere he went.

18:7 And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

18:7 Ña-vít ñoaït nhöõng khieân vaøng cuûa caùc ñaày tôù Ha-ña-reâ-xe, roài ñem veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

18:8 Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.

18:8 Töø Ti-baùt vaø Cun, hai thaønh cuûa Ha-ña-reâ-xe, Ña-vít laïi ñoaït laáy nhieàu ñoàng, maø Sa-loâ-moân duøng laøm caùi bieån ñoàng, caùc truï vaø chaäu baèng ñoàng.

18:9 Now when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had smitten all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah;

18:9 Khi Toâ-hu, vua Ha-maùt, hay raèng Ña-vít ñaõ ñaùnh caû ñoäi binh cuûa Ha-ña-reâ-xe, vua Xoâ-ba,

18:10 He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had war with Tou;) and with him all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass.

18:10 thì sai Ha-ñoâ-ram, con trai ngöôøi, ñeán chaøo möøng vaø ngôïi khen Ña-vít, bôûi ngöôøi ñaõ chinh chieán vôùi Ha-ña-reâ-xe, vaø ñaõ ñaùnh ngöôøi; vì Ha-ña-reâ-xe vaø Toâ-hu thöôøng ñaùnh giaëc vôùi nhau luoân; Toâ-hu cuõng gôûi ñeán caùc thöù chaäu baèng vaøng, baïc, vaø ñoàng.

18:11 Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

18:11 Caùc ñoà aáy Ña-vít cuõng bieät rieâng ra thaùnh cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, luoân vôùi baïc vaø vaøng maø ngöôøi ñaõ ñoaït laáy ñem veà töø caùc daân toäc, töùc töø EÂ-ñoâm, Moâ-aùp, daân Am-moân, daân Phi-li-tin, vaø daân A-ma-leùc.

18:12 Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.

18:12 Vaû laïi, A-bi-sai, con trai cuûa Xeâ-ru-gia, ñaùnh gieát taïi trong truõng Muoái, moät vaïn taùm ngaøn ngöôøi EÂ-ñoâm.

18:13 And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David's servants. Thus the LORD preserved David anywhere he went.

18:14 So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

18:14 Ña-vít laøm vua treân caû Y-sô-ra-eân, laáy söï ngay thaúng vaø coâng bình maø xöû vôùi daân söï cuûa ngöôøi.

18:15 And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, recorder.

18:15 Gioâ-aùp, con trai cuûa Xeâ-ru-gia, thoáng laõnh ñoäi binh; Gioâ-sa-phaùt con trai cuûa A-hi-luùt, laøm quan thaùi söû;

18:16 And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe;

18:16 Xa-ñoác, con trai cuûa A-hi-tuùp, vaø A-bi-meâ-leùc, con trai cuûa A-bia-tha, laøm thaày teá leã; Sa-veâ-sa laøm quan kyù luïc.

18:17 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief about the king.

18:17 Beâ-na-gia, con trai cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña, cai quaûn ngöôøi Keâ-reâ-thít vaø ngöôøi Pheâ-leâ-thít, coøn caùc con trai Ña-vít ñeàu laøm quan ñaïi thaàn gaàn beân vua.

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

19:1 Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his position.

19:1 Sau caùc vieäc ñoù, Na-haùch, vua daân Am-moân, baêng haø, vaø con trai ngöôøi keá ngöôøi laøm vua.

19:2 And David said, I will show kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father showed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.

19:2 Ña-vít noùi: Ta muoán laøm ôn cho Ha-nun con trai cuûa Na-haùch, vì cha ngöôøi ñaõ laøm ôn cho ta. Ña-vít beøn sai nhöõng söù giaû ñeán an uûi ngöôøi veà söï cha ngöôøi ñaõ baêng haø. Vaäy caùc ñaày tôù cuûa Ña-vít ñeán cuøng Ha-nun taïi trong xöù daân Am-moân, ñaëng an uûi ngöôøi.

19:3 But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Think you that David does honour your father, that he has sent comforters unto you? are not his servants come unto you in order to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?

19:3 Nhöng caùc quan tröôûng daân Am-moân taâu vôùi Ha-nun raèng: Vua haù coù töôûng raèng Ña-vít sai nhöõng keû an uûi ñeán cuøng vua, laø vì toân kính thaân-phuï vua sao? Caùc ñaày tôù haén ñeán cuøng vua haù chaúng phaûi ñeå tra xeùt vaø do thaùm xöù, haàu cho huûy phaù noù sao?

19:4 Wherefore Hanun took David's servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away.

19:4 Ha-nun beøn baét caùc toâi tôù cuûa Ña-vít, baûo caïo raâu hoï ñi, caét aùo hoï töø chaëng phaân nöûa cho ñeán löng, roài ñuoåi veà.

19:5 Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them: for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.

19:5 Coù ngöôøi ñi thuaät cho Ña-vít hay vieäc caùc ngöôi naày; ngöôøi sai ñi ñoùn caùc ngöôi aáy, vì hoï xaáu hoå laém. Vua baûo raèng: Haõy ôû taïi Gieâ-ri-coâ cho ñeán khi raâu caùc ngöôi ñaõ moïc, baáy giôø seõ trôû veà.

19:6 And when the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves abhorrent to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Syriamaachah, and out of Zobah.

19:6 Khi daân Am-moân thaáy Ña-vít laáy hoï laøm gôùm ghieác, thì Ha-nun vaø daân Am-moân beøn sai ngöôøi ñem moät ngaøn ta laâng baïc ñaëng ñi ñeán Meâ-soâ-boâ-ta-mi, A-ram-Ma -a-ca, vaø Xoâ-ba, maø möôùn cho mình nhöõng xe coä vaø quaân-kî.

19:7 So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle.

19:7 Chuùng möôùn cho mình ba vaïn hai ngaøn coã xe, vua xöù Ma -a-ca vôùi daân ngöôøi; hoï keùo ñeán ñoùng taïi tröôùc Meâ-ñeâ-ba. Daân Am-moân töø caùc thaønh cuûa hoï nhoùm laïi ñaëng ra traän.

19:8 And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.

19:8 Ña-vít hay ñieàu ñoù, beøn sai Gioâ-aùp vaø caû ñaïo binh, ñeàu laø ngöôøi maïnh daïn.

19:9 And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.

19:9 Daân Am-moân keùo ra, daøn traän nôi cöûa thaønh; coøn caùc vua ñaõ ñeán phuø trôï, ñeàu ñoùng rieâng ra trong ñoàng baèng.

19:10 Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.

19:10 Khi Gioâ-aùp thaáy quaân thuø ñaõ baøy traän ñaèng tröôùc vaø ñaèng sau mình, beøn choïn nhöõng keû maïnh daïn trong ñoäi quaân Y-sô-ra-eân maø daøn traän ñoái cuøng quaân Sy-ri;

19:11 And the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves in array against the children of Ammon.

19:11 quaân lính coøn laïi, ngöôøi phuù cho A-bi-sai, laø em mình; chuùng baøy traän ñoái vôùi daân Am-moân.

19:12 And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then you shall help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for you, then I will help you.

19:12 Ngöôøi noùi: Neáu quaân Sy-ri maïnh hôn anh, em seõ giuùp ñôõ anh; coøn neáu quaân Am-moân maïnh hôn em, anh seõ giuùp ñôõ em.

19:13 Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.

19:13 Khaù vöõng loøng beàn chí; haõy vì daân ta vì caùc thaønh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta, maø laøm nhö caùch ñaïi tröôïng phu; nguyeän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laøm theo yù Ngaøi laáy laøm toát.

19:14 So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him.

19:14 Vaäy, Gioâ-aùp vaø quaân lính theo ngöôøi ñeàu ñeán gaàn ñoái cuøng quaân Sy-ri ñaëng giao chieán; quaân Sy-ri chaïy troán khoûi tröôùc maët ngöôøi.

19:15 And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, they likewise fled before Abishai his brother, and entered into the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem.

19:15 Khi quaân Am-moân thaáy quaân Sy-ri ñaõ chaïy troán, thì cuõng chaïy troán khoûi tröôùc maët A-bi-sai, em Gioâ-aùp, maø trôû vaøo thaønh. Gioâ-aùp beøn trôû veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

19:16 And when the Syrians saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the river: and Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before them.

19:16 Khi quaân Sy-ri thaáy mình bò thua tröôùc maët Y-sô-ra-eân, beøn sai söù giaû ñeán bôûi daân Sy-ri ôû beân kia soâng ra, coù Soâ-phaùc, quan töôùng cuûa ñoäi binh Ha-ña-reâ-xe, quaûn laõnh chuùng noù.

19:17 And it was told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him.

19:17 Ña-vít hay ñieàu ñoù, lieàn nhoùm caû Y-sô-ra-eân, sang qua soâng Gioâ-ñanh, ñeán cuøng quaân Sy-ri vaø daøn traän nghòch cuøng chuùng noù. Vaäy, khi Ña-vít ñaõ baøy traän ñoái vôùi daân Sy-ri, thì chuùng noù ñaùnh laïi vôùi ngöôøi.

19:18 But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.

19:18 Quaân Sy-ri chaïy troán khoûi tröôùc maët Y-sô-ra-eân; Ña-vít gieát cuûa quaân Sy-ri baûy ngaøn lính caàm xe, boán vaïn lính boä, vaø cuõng gieát Soâ-phaùc, quan toång binh.

19:19 And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.

19:19 Khi caùc ñaày tôù cuûa Ha-ña-reâ-xe thaáy chuùng bò baïi tröôùc maët Y-sô-ra-eân, beøn laäp hoøa cuøng Ña-vít vaø phuïc dòch ngöôøi; veà sau daân Sy-ri chaúng coøn muoán tieáp cöùu daân Am-moân nöõa.

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

20:1 And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab stroke Rabbah, and destroyed it.

20:1 Qua naêm môùi, luùc caùc vua thöôøng ra ñaùnh giaëc, Gioâ-aùp caàm ñoäi binh keùo ra phaù hoang xöù daân Am-moân; ngöôøi ñeán vaây thaønh Raùp-ba; coøn Ña-vít ôû taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem. Gioâ-aùp haõm ñaùnh Raùp-ba, vaø phaù huûy noù.

20:2 And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.

20:2 Ña-vít laáy maõo trieàu thieân cuûa vua daân Am-moân khoûi ñaàu ngöôøi, caân ñöôïc moät ta laâng vaøng, vaø ôû treân coù nhöõng ngoïc baùu; beøn laáy maõo trieàu thieân aáy ñoäi treân ñaàu Ña-vít; laïi töø trong thaønh ngöôøi laáy ra raát nhieàu cuûa cöôùp.

20:3 And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.

20:3 Coøn daân söï ôû trong thaønh, ngöôøi ñem ra maø caét xeû ra hoaëc baèng cöa, hoaëc baèng böøa saét, hay laø baèng rìu. Ña-vít laøm nhö vaäy cho caùc thaønh cuûa daân Am-moân. Ñoaïn, Ña-vít vaø caû quaân lính ñeàu trôû veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

20:4 And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.

20:4 Sau vieäc ñoù, xaûy coù chinh chieán vôùi daân Phi-li-tin taïi Gheâ-xe. Khi aáy Si-beâ-cai, ngöôøi Hu-sa-tít, ñaùnh gieát Síp-bai, voán thuoäc trong doøng keû khoång loà; chuùng beøn bò suy phuïc.

20:5 And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver's beam.

20:5 Laïi coøn giaëc giaõ vôùi daân Phi-li-tin nöõa; Eân-ha-nan, con trai cuûa Giai-rô, ñaùnh gieát Laùc-mi, em cuûa Goâ-li-aùt, ngöôøi Gaùt; caùi caùn giaùo ngöôøi lôùn nhö caây truïc cuûa thôï deät.

20:6 And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot and he also was the son of the giant.

20:6 Laïi coøn moät traän ñaùnh nöõa taïi Gaùt; ôû ñoù coù moät ngöôøi töôùng taù lôùn cao, coù moãi tay saùu ngoùn vaø moãi chaân saùu ngoùn, heát thaûy laø hai möôi boán ngoùn; haén cuõng thuoäc veà doøng khoång loà.

20:7 But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David's brother slew him.

20:7 Haén sæ nhuïc Y-sô-ra-eân; nhöng Gioâ-na-than, con trai cuûa Si-meâ -a, em cuûa Ña-vít, ñaùnh gieát ngöôøi.

20:8 These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.

20:8 Nhöõng keû ñoù ñeàu thuoäc veà doøng khoång loà taïi Gaùt; chuùng ñeàu bò tay Ña-vít vaø tay caùc toâi tôù ngöôøi gieát ñi.

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

21:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

21:1 Sa-tan daáy leân muoán laøm haïi cho Y-sô-ra-eân, beøn giuïc Ña-vít laáy soá Y-sô-ra-eân.

21:2 And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.

21:2 Ña-vít noùi vôùi Gioâ-aùp vaø caùc quan tröôûng cuûa daân söï raèng: Haõy ñi laáy soá daân söï, töø Beâ -e-Seâ-ba cho ñeán Ñan; roài ñem veà taâu laïi cho ta, ñeå ta bieát soá hoï.

21:3 And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? why then does my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?

21:3 Gioâ-aùp thöa; Nguyeän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va gia theâm daân söï Ngaøi nhieàu gaáp traêm laàn ñaõ coù! Oâi vua chuùa toâi! heát thaûy chuùng noù haù chaúng phaûi laø toâi tôù cuûa chuùa toâi sao? Côù sao chuùa toâi daïy baûo laøm ñieàu ñoù? Nhôn sao chuùa toâi muoán gaây toäi loãi cho Y-sô-ra-eân?

21:4 Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.

21:4 Nhöng lôøi cuûa vua thaéng hôn lôøi cuûa Gioâ-aùp. Vì vaäy, Gioâ-aùp ra, ñi khaép Y-sô-ra-eân, roài trôû veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

21:5 And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.

21:5 Gioâ-aùp ñem taâu cho vua toång soá daân; trong caû Y-sô-ra-eân ñöôïc moät traêm möôøi vaïn ngöôøi caàm göôm; trong caû Giu-ña ñöôïc boán möôi baûy vaïn ngöôøi caàm göôm.

21:6 But Levi and Benjamin counted he not among them: for the king's word was abominable to Joab.

21:6 Nhöng Gioâ-aùp coù cai soá ngöôøi Leâ-vi vaø ngöôøi Beân-gia-min; vì lôøi cuûa vua laáy laøm gôùm ghieác cho ngöôøi.

21:7 And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he stroke Israel.

21:7 Ñieàu ñoù chaúng ñeïp loøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; neân Ngaøi haønh haïi Y-sô-ra-eân.

21:8 And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I plead to you, do away the iniquity of your servant; for I have done very foolishly.

21:8 Ña-vít thöa vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: Toâi laøm ñieàu ñoù, thaät laø phaïm toäi lôùn; nhöng baây giôø, xin Chuùa haõy boû qua toäi aùc cuûa keû toâi tôù Chuùa ñi; vì toâi coù laøm caùch ngu daïi.

21:9 And the LORD spoke unto Gad, David's seer, saying,

21:9 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn vôùi Gaùt, laø ñaáng tieân kieán cuûa Ña-vít raèng:

21:10 Go and tell David, saying, Thus says the LORD, I offer you three things: choose you one of them, that I may do it unto you.

21:10 Haõy ñi noùi cuøng Ña-vít: Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù phaùn nhö vaày: Ta ñònh cho ngöôi ba tai vaï; haõy choïn laáy moät ñeå ta giaùng noù treân ngöôi.

21:11 So Gad came to David, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD, Choose you

21:11 Gaùt beøn ñeán cuøng Ña-vít, thöa vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn nhö vaày: Haõy choïn maëc yù ngöôi,

21:12 Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before your foes, while that the sword of yours enemies overtakes you; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise yourself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.

21:12 hoaëc ba naêm ñoùi keùm, hoaëc bò thua ba thaùng taïi tröôùc maët cöøu ñòch ngöôi, vaø phaûi göôm cuûa keû thuø nghòch phaù haïi, hay laø bò ba ngaøy göôm cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, töùc laø oân dòch ôû trong xöù, coù thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va huûy dieät trong khaép bôø coõi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân. Vaäy baây giôø haõy ñònh laáy ñieàu naøo toâi phaûi taâu laïi cuøng Ñaáng ñaõ sai toâi.

21:13 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.

21:13 Ña-vít noùi vôùi Gaùt raèng: Ta bò hoaïn naïn lôùn. Ta xin sa vaøo tay Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vì söï thöông xoùt cuûa Ngaøi raát lôùn; chôù ñeå ta sa vaøo tay cuûa loaøi ngöôøi ta.

21:14 So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.

21:14 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va beøn giaùng oân dòch nôi Y-sô-ra-eân; coù baûy vaïn ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân ngaõ cheát.

21:15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now yours hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

21:15 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi sai moät thieân söù ñeán Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñaëng huûy dieät noù; ñöông khi huûy dieät, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va xem thaáy, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va xem thaáy, beøn tieác vieäc tai vaï naày, vaø noùi vôùi thieân söù ñi huûy dieät raèng: Thoâi! Baây giôø haõy ruùt tay ngöôi laïi. Baáy giôø thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñöùng gaàn saân ñaïp luùa cuûa Oït-nan, ngöôøi Gieâ-bu-sít.

21:16 And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

21:16 Ña-vít ngöôùc maét leân, thaáy thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñöùng giöõa löøng trôøi, tay caàm göôm ñöa ra treân Gieâ-ru-sa-lem. Ña-vít vaø caùc tröôûng laõo ñöông maëc bao gai, lieàn saáp mình xuoáng ñaát.

21:17 And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let yours hand, I pray you, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on your people, that they should be plagued.

21:17 Ña-vít thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: Haù chaúng phaûi toâi ñaõ truyeàn laáy soá daân sao? Aáy laø toâi ñaõ phaïm toäi vaø laøm ñieàu aùc; coøn caùc con chieân kia, ñaõ laøm chi? Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi oâi! xin tay Chuùa haõy ñaùnh haïi toâi vaø nhaø cha toâi; nhöng chôù giaùng oân dòch treân daân söï cuûa Chuùa maø haønh haïi noù.

21:18 Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David, that David should go up, and set up an altar unto the LORD in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

21:18 Khi aáy, thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va baûo Gaùt noùi vôùi Ña-vít phaûi ñi leân döïng moät baøn thôø cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va taïi saân ñaïp luùa cuûa Oït-nan, ngöôøi Gieâ-bu-sít.

21:19 And David went up at the saying of Gad, which he spoke in the name of the LORD.

21:19 Ña-vít ñi leân theo lôøi cuûa Gaùt ñaõ nhaân danh Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va maø noùi ra.

21:20 And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons with him hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing wheat.

21:20 Oït-nan xaây laïi, thaáy thieân söù; boán con trai ngöôøi ôû vôùi ngöôøi ñeàu aån mình ñi. Vaû, baáy giôø Oït-nan ñöông ñaïp luùa mieán.

21:21 And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshing floor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.

21:21 Ña-vít ñi ñeán Oït-nan, Oït-nan nhìn thaáy Ña-vít, beøn ra khoûi saân ñaïp luùa, saáp mình xuoáng ñaát tröôùc maët Ña-vít maø laïy.

21:22 Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: you shall grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.

21:22 Ña-vít baûo Oït-nan raèng: Haõy nhöôïng cho ta choã saân ñaïp luùa, ñeå ta caát taïi ñoù moät baøn thôø cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; haõy nhöôïng noù cho ta thaät giaù baïc noù, haàu tai vaï ngöøng laïi trong daân söï.

21:23 And Ornan said unto David, Take it to you, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give you the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the food offering; I give it all.

21:23 Oït-nan thöa vôùi Ña-vít raèng: Vua haõy nhaän laáy noù, xin vua chuùa toâi, haõy laøm ñieàu gì ngöôøi laáy laøm toát. Kìa, toâi daâng boø cho vua duøng laøm cuûa leã thieâu, coä saân ñaïp luùa duøng laøm cuûi, coøn luùa mieán ñeå duøng laøm cuûa leã chay; toâi daâng cho heát caû.

21:24 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is yours for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.

21:24 Vua Ña-vít noùi cuøng Oït-nan raèng: Khoâng, thaät ta muoán mua noù theo giaù baïc thaät noù; vì ta chaúng muoán laáy vaät gì cuûa ngöôi maø daâng cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuõng khoâng muoán daâng cuûa leã thieâu chaúng toán chi caû.

21:25 So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight.

21:25 Aáy vaäy, Ña-vít mua caùi choã saân aáy traû cho Oït-nan giaù baèng sieác-lô, caân naëng saùu traêm sieác-lô.

21:26 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.

21:26 Taïi ñoù Ña-vít caát moät baøn thôø cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, daâng nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu, cuûa leã bình an, vaø caàu khaån Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; Ngaøi ñaùp lôøi ngöôøi baèng löûa töø trôøi giaùng xuoáng treân baøn thôø veà cuûa leã thieâu.

21:27 And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof.

21:27 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va daïy baûo thieân söù, thieân söù beøn xoû göôm mình vaøo voû.

21:28 At that time when David saw that the LORD had answered him in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.

21:28 Trong luùc ñoù, Ña-vít thaáy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ nhaäm lôøi mình taïi trong saân ñaïp luùa cuûa Oït-nan, ngöôøi Gieâ-bu-sít, thì ngöôøi beøn daâng cuûa leã taïi ñoù.

21:29 For the tabernacle of the LORD, which Moses made in the wilderness, and the altar of the burnt offering, were at that season in the high place at Gibeon.

21:29 Vì caùi ñeàn taïm cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va maø Moâi-se ñaõ laøm trong ñoàng vaéng, vaø caùi baøn thôø veà cuûa leã thieâu, trong luùc ñoù ñeàu ôû nôi cao taïi Ga-ba-oân;

21:30 But David could not go before it to enquire of God: for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the LORD.

21:30 Ña-vít khoâng daùm ñi ñeán tröôùc maët baøn thôø aáy ñaëng caàu vaán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; bôûi vì ngöôøi kinh haõi göôm cuûa thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

22:1 Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

22:1 Ña-vít beøn noùi: Aáy ñaây laø ñeàn cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñaây laø baøn thôø veà cuûa leã thieâu cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

22:2 And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set stone workers to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.

22:2 Ña-vít thôø laïy nhoùm caùc ngöôøi ngoaïi bang ôû trong xöù Y-sô-ra-eân; roài ngöôøi khieán trôï ñuïc ñaù, ñaëng laøm nhöõng ñaù ñuïc, haàu caát caùi ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

22:3 And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;

22:3 Ña-vít cuõng döï bò nhieàu saét, ñöôøng laøm ñinh caùnh cöûa vaø maáu cöûa, cuøng nhieàu ñoàng khoâng theå caân ñöôïc,

22:4 Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David.

22:4 vaø goã baù höông voâ soá; vì daân Si-ñoân vaø daân Ty-rô chôû raát nhieàu goã baù höông ñeán cho vua Ña-vít.

22:5 And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

22:6 Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.

22:6 Baáy giôø, Ña-vít goïi Sa-loâ-moân, con trai mình, truyeàn daën ngöôøi caát moät caùi ñeàn cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

22:7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:

22:7 Ña-vít noùi vôùi Sa-loâ-moân raèng: Hôõi con, ta coù yù muoán xaây caát moät caùi ñeàn cho danh Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta;

22:8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, You have shed blood abundantly, and have made great wars: you shall not build an house unto my name, because you have shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.

22:8 nhöng coù lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ta raèng: ngöôi ñaõ ñoå huyeát ra nhieàu, ñaùnh nhöõng giaëc lôùn lao; vaäy vì ngöôi ñaõ ñoå huyeát ra nhieàu treân ñaát taïi tröôùc maët ta, neân ngöôøi seõ chaúng caát ñeàn cho danh ta.

22:9 Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.

22:9 Kìa, con trai maø ngöôøi seõ sanh ra, noù seõ laø ngöôøi thaùi bình; ta seõ ban bình an cho noù; côn thònh noä ôû boán phía noù seõ chaúng khuaáy roái noù; vì teân noù seõ laø Sa-loâ-moân; trong ñôøi noù ta seõ ban söï thaùi bình an tònh cho Y-sô-ra-eân.

22:10 He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.

22:10 Noù seõ caát moät ñeàn cho danh ta; noù seõ laøm con trai ta, ta seõ laøm cha noù; vaø ta seõ laäp ngoâi nöôùc noù treân Y-sô-ra-eân ñöôïc beàn vöõng ñôøi ñôøi.

22:11 Now, my son, the LORD be with you; and prosper you, and build the house of the LORD your God, as he has said of you.

22:11 Baây giôø, hôõi con trai ta, nguyeän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ôû cuøng con vaø laøm cho con ñöôïc hanh thoâng; con seõ caát caùi ñeàn cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi con, theo nhö lôøi Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn veà vieäc con.

22:12 Only the LORD give you wisdom and understanding, and give you charge concerning Israel, that you may keep the law of the LORD your God.

22:13 Then shall you prosper, if you take heed to fulfill the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

22:13 Neáu con caûm taï laøm theo caùc luaät phaùp vaø maïng lònh maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn daën Moâi-se truyeàn cho Y-sô-ra-eân, thì con seõ ñöôïc hanh thoâng. Khaù vöõng loøng beàn chí; chôù sôï seät, chôù kinh haõi chi.

22:14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and you may add thereto.

22:14 Nay ta ñaõ chòu hoaïn naïn maø saém söûa cho ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va möôøi vaïn ta laâng vaøng, moät traêm vaïn ta laâng baïc; coøn ñoàng vaø saét thì khoâng theå caân ñöôïc, vì noù nhieàu quaù; ta laïi döï bò goã vaø ñaù; vaø con cuõng seõ theâm vaøo ñoù.

22:15 Moreover there are workmen with you in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.

22:15 Vaû laïi, con coù nhieàu nhaân coâng thôï ñuïc ñaù, thôï hoà, thôï moäc, ñuû ngöôøi thaïo veà caùc thöù coâng vieäc;

22:16 Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with you.

22:16 vaøng, baïc, ñoàng, saét, thì voâ-soá. Haõy choåi daäy laøm, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ ôû cuøng con.

22:17 David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

22:17 Ña-vít cuõng truyeàn daën caùc quan tröôûng cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân giuùp ñôõ Sa-loâ-moân, con trai ngöôøi, maø raèng:

22:18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and has he not given you rest on every side? for he has given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.

22:18 Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi haù chaúng ôû cuøng caùc ngöôi sao? Ngaøi haù chaúng ban cho caùc ngöôi ñöôïc bình an boán phía sao? Vì Ngaøi ñaõ phoù daân cuûa xöù vaøo tay ta, vaø xöù ñaõ suy phuïc tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø tröôùc maët daân söï Ngaøi.

22:19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build all of you the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.

22:19 Vaäy baây giôø, haõy heát loøng heát yù tìm caàu Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa caùc ngöôi; haõy choåi daäy, xaây caát ñeàn thaùnh cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñeå röôùc hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø caùc khí duïng cuûa ñeàn thaùnh Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaøo trong nhaø toan caát cho danh cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

23:11 And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their father's house.

23:27 Vì theo lôøi troái cuûa Ña-vít, ngöôøi ta tu boä daân Leâ-vi, töø hai möôi tuoåi saáp leân.

23:28 Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;

28:20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

28:20 Ña-vít laïi noùi vôùi Sa-loâ-moân, con trai mình raèng: Haõy vöõng loøng beàn chí maø laøm; chôù sôï seät, chôù kinh haõi chi, vì Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, töùc laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa cha, vaãn ôû cuøng con; Ngaøi chaúng heà töø boû con, cuõng chaúng heà lìa khoûi con cho ñeán chöøng caùc coâng vieäc caát ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñöôïc xong.

 1 Su ky - 1 Chronicles

29:1 Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

29:1 Ña-vít noùi vôùi caû hoäi chuùng raèng: Sa-loâ-moân, con trai ta, chæ moät mình con ñoù maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ choïn, haõy coøn treû tuoåi non-nôùt, vaø coâng vieäc laïi lôùn lao; vì caùi ñeàn ñoù chaúng phaûi cho loaøi ngöôøi ñaâu, beøn laø cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

29:2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, flashing stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

29:2 Ta ñaõ heát söùc saém cho ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta, naøo vaøng duøng veà ñoà laøm baèng vaøng, naøo baïc duøng veà ñoà laøm baèng baïc, naøo ñoàng duøng veà ñoà laøm baèng ñoàng, naøo saét duøng veà ñoà laøm baèng saét, naøo goã duøng veà ñoà laøm baèng goã, laïi saém nhöõng ngoïc bích, ngoïc ñeå khaûm, ngoïc chieáu saùng, ngoïc ñuû caùc maøu, vaø caùc thöù ñaù quí, cuøng ñaù caåm thaïch traéng raát nhieàu.

29:3 Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.

29:3 Laïi, vì loøng ta yeâu meán ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, neân ngoaïi tröø soá ta ñaõ saém cho ñeàn thaùnh, ta cuõng daâng cho ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta caùc ñoà baèng vaøng vaø baèng baïc thuoäc rieâng veà ta,

29:4 Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses likewise:

29:4 töùc laø ba ngaøn ta laâng vaøng OÂ-phia, vaø baûy ngaøn ta laâng baïc theùt, ñaëng duøng boïc caùc vaùch ñeàn;

29:5 The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?

29:5 vaøng duøng veà caùc vieäc laøm bôûi tay ngöôøi thôï. Vaäy ngaøy nay, ai laø ngöôøi vui loøng daâng mình cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va?

29:6 Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,

29:6 Baáy giôø, caùc tröôûng toäc, caùc tröôûng cuûa caùc chi phaùi Y-sô-ra-eân, caùc quan töôùng cai ngaøn ngöôøi vaø traêm ngöôøi, caùc keû coi soùc coâng vieäc cuûa vua, beøn vui loøng,

29:7 And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

29:7 daâng veà coâng vieäc ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, naêm ngaøn ta laâng vaøng, möôøi ngaøn ña-rieác, möôøi ngaøn ta laâng baïc, möôøi taùm ngaøn ta laâng ñoàng, vaø moät traêm ngaøn ta laâng saét.

29:8 And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

29:8 Phaøm ai coù ñaù quí, thì giao cho Gieâ-hi-eân veà doøng Gheït-soân, ñeå daâng vaøo kho cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

29:9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

29:9 Daân söï laáy laøm vui möøng veà ñieàu mình troïn loøng vui yù daâng cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; vaø vua Ña-vít cuõng laáy laøm vui möøng laém.

29:10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be you, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

29:10 Taïi tröôùc maët caû hoäi chuùng, Ña-vít chuùc taï Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va maø raèng: Hôõi Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, toå phuï chuùng toâi oâi! ñaùng chuùc taï Ngaøi cho ñeán ñôøi ñôøi voâ cuøng!

29:11 Yours, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.

29:11 Hôõi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va söï cao caû, quyeàn naêng, vinh quang, toaøn thaéng, vaø oai nghi ñaùng qui veà Ngaøi; vì muoân vaät treân caùc töøng trôøi vaø döôùi ñaát ñeàu thuoäc veà Ngaøi. Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va oâi! nöôùc thuoäc veà Ngaøi; Ngaøi ñöôïc toân cao laøm Chuùa teå cuûa muoân vaät.

29:12 Both riches and honour come of you, and you reign over all; and in yours hand is power and might; and in yours hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

29:12 Hoaëc söï giaøu coù, hoaëc söï vinh quang, ñeàu do Chuùa maø ñeán, vaø Chuùa quaûn trò treân muoân vaät; quyeàn naêng vaø theá löïc ôû nôi tay Chuùa; tay Chuùa khieán cho ñöôïc toân troïng vaø ban söùc maïnh cho moïi ngöôøi.

29:13 Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.

29:13 Baây giôø, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng toâi oâi! chuùng toâi caûm taï Chuùa vaø ngôïi khen danh vinh hieån cuûa Ngaøi.

29:14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of you, and of yours own have we given you.

29:14 Nhöng toâi laø ai, vaø daân söï toâi laø gì, maø chuùng toâi coù söùc daâng caùch vui loøng nhö vaäy? Vì moïi vaät ñeàu do nôi Chuùa maø ñeán; vaø nhöõng vaät chuùng toâi ñaõ daâng cho Chuùa chaúng qua laø ñaõ thuoäc veà Chuùa.

29:15 For we are strangers before you, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

29:15 Vì chuùng toâi taïi tröôùc maët Chuùa voán laø keû laï, vaø keû ôû ñaäu nhö caùc toå phuï chuùng toâi; caùc ngaøy chuùng toâi taïi treân ñaát, khaùc naøo caùi boùng, khoâng mong ôû laâu ñöôïc.

29:16 O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you an house for yours holy name comes of yours hand, and is all yours own.

29:16 Hôõi Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng toâi oâi! caùc vaät naày maø chuùng toâi ñaõ saém söûa ñeå caát ñeàn cho danh thaùnh cuûa Chuùa, ñeàu do nôi tay Chuùa maø ñeán, vaø thaûy ñeàu thuoäc veà Chuùa.

29:17 I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy your people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto you.

29:17 Oâi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi! toâi bieát raèng Chuùa doø xeùt loøng ngöôøi ta, vaø Chuùa vui veû veà söï ngay thaúng. Veà phaàn toâi, toâi cöù theo söï ngay thaúng cuûa loøng toâi maø vui loøng daâng caùc vaät naày; vaø baây giôø toâi laáy laøm vui möøng maø thaáy daân söï Chuùa ôû ñaây cuõng coù daâng cho Chuùa caùch vui loøng.

29:18 O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of your people, and prepare their heart unto you:

29:18 Hôõi Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham, cuûa Y-saùc, vaø cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, toå phuï cuûa chuùng toâi oâi! xin haõy cho daân söï Chuùa giöõ luoân luoân moät taâm yù aáy trong loøng, vaø laøm cho loøng chuùng chieàu theo veà Chuùa.

29:19 And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

29:19 Xin Chuùa haõy ban cho Sa-loâ-moân, con trai toâi, moät loøng troïn veïn, ñeå gìn giöõ caùc ñieàu raên, chöùng côù, vaø luaät leä cuûa Chuùa, cuøng laøm cho caùc coâng vieäc naày, xaây caát caùi ñeàn maø toâi ñaõ saém söûa thôø laïy cho.

29:20 And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.

29:20 Ña-vít noùi vôùi caû hoäi chuùng raèng: Haõy chuùc taï Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa caùc ngöôi. Caû hoäi chuùng beøn chieán traän Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï mình, cuùi ñaàu xuoáng maø thôø laïy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø laïy vua.

29:21 And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the next day after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:

29:21 Qua ngaøy sau, chuùng daâng nhöõng teá leã cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø daâng nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va: moät ngaøn con boø ñöïc, moät ngaøn con chieân ñöïc, moät ngaøn con chieân con, cuøng caùc leã quaùn caëp theo, vaø nhieàu cuûa teá leã khaùc vì caû daân Y-sô-ra-eân;

29:22 And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.

29:22 trong ngaøy aáy, chuùng aên uoáng raát vui möøng taïi tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; chuùng laàn thöù nhì toân Sa-loâ-moân, con trai Ña-vít, laøm vua, vaø nhôn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va xöùc daàu cho ngöôøi laøm vua chuùa, vaø laäp Xa-ñoác laøm thaày teá leã.

29:23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

29:23 Baáy giôø, Sa-loâ-moân ngoài leân treân ngoâi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, laøm vua theá cho Ña-vít, cha ngöôøi, vaø ngöôøi ñöôïc höng thaïnh; caû Y-sô-ra-eân ñeàu vaâng theo maïng ngöôøi.

29:24 And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.

29:24 Caùc quan tröôûng, vaø ngöôøi maïnh daïn, luoân vôùi caùc con trai cuûa vua Ña-vít, ñeàu phuïc tuøng vua Sa-loâ-moân.

29:25 And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.

29:25 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khieán cho Sa-loâ-moân ñöôïc raát coi troïng taïi tröôùc maët caû Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø ban cho ngöôøi ñöôïc oai nghieâm, ñeán ñoãi trong Y-sô-ra-eân chaúng coù moät vua naøo tröôùc ngöôøi ñöôïc nhö vaäy.

29:26 Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

29:26 Ña-vít, con trai Y-sai, cai trò treân caû Y-sô-ra-eân.

29:27 And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.

29:27 Ngöôøi cai trò treân Y-sô-ra-eân boán möôi naêm: taïi Heáp-roân, ngöôøi cai trò baûy naêm, vaø taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ngöôøi cai trò ba möôi ba naêm.

29:28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his position.

29:28 Ngöôøi baêng haø tuoåi cao, thoûa nguyeän veà ñôøi mình, veà söï giaøu coù, vaø veà vinh hieån; Sa-loâ-moân, con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

29:29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,

29:29 Caùc coâng vieäc cuûa vua Ña-vít, töø ñaàu ñeán cuoái, ñeàu cheùp trong saùch cuûa Sa-mu-eân, ñaáng tieân kieán, trong saùch cuûa Na-than, ñaáng tieân tri, vaø trong saùch cuûa Gaùt, ñaáng tieân kieán;

29:30 With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
