21:12 And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

21:13 Then Paul answered, What mean all of you to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

16:7 And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, you bloody man, and you man of Belial:

16:9 Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray you, and take off his head.

16:10 And the king said, What have I to do with you, all of you sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the Jehovah has said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore have you done so?

16:11 And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came out of my bowels, seeks my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the Jehovah has bidden him.

16:12 It may be that the Jehovah will look on mine affliction, and that the Jehovah will requite me good for his cursing this day.

10:2 And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was in Egypt, where he fled from the presence of Solomon the king, heard it, that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.

10:3 And they sent and called him. So Jeroboam and all Israel came and spoke to Rehoboam, saying,

10:4 Your father made our yoke grievous: now therefore ease you somewhat the grievous servitude of your father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve you.

10:5 And he said unto them, Come again unto me after three days. And the people departed.

10:6 And king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel give all of you me to return answer to this people?

10:7 And they spoke unto him, saying, If you be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be your servants for ever.

10:8 But he forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood before him.

10:9 And he said unto them, What advice give all of you that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that your father did put upon us?

10:10 And the young men that were brought up with him spoke unto him, saying, Thus shall you answer the people that spoke unto you, saying, Your father made our yoke heavy, but make you it somewhat lighter for us; thus shall you say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

10:11 For whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

10:12 So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam on the third day, as the king bade, saying, Come again to me on the third day.

10:13 And the king answered them roughly; and king Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,

10:14 And answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

10:15 So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the Jehovah might perform his word, which he spoke by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

10:16 And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to yours own house. Gn31:26 And Laban said to Jacob, What have you done, that you have stolen away unexpectedly to me, and carried away my daughters, as captives taken with the sword?

31:27 Wherefore did you flee away secretly, and steal away from me; and did not tell me, that I might have sent you away with delight, and with songs, with timbrel, and with harp?

31:28 And have not suffered me to kiss my sons and my daughters? you have now done foolishly in so doing.

31:29 It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spoke unto me last night, saying, Take you heed that you speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

Gn38:1 And it came to pass at that time, that Judah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamite, whose name was Hirah.

38:2 And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite, whose name was Shuah; and he took her, and went in unto her.

38:3 And she conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er.

38:4 And she conceived again, and bare a son; and she called his name Onan.

38:5 And she yet again conceived, and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bare him.

38:6 And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar.

38:7 And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Jehovah; and the Jehovah slew him.

38:8 And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto your brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to your brother.

38:9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.

38:10 And the thing which he did displeased the Jehovah: wherefore he slew him also.

38:11 Then said Judah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at your father's house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest possibly he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father's house.

38:12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah's wife died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite.

38:13 And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold your father in law goes up to Timnath to shear his sheep.

38:14 And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.

38:15 When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.

38:16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray you, let me come in unto you; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What will you give me, that you may come in unto me?

38:17 And he said, I will send you a kid from the flock. And she said, Will you give me a pledge, till you send it?

38:18 And he said, What pledge shall I give you? And she said, Your signet, and your bracelets, and your staff that is in yours hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.

38:19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.

38:20 And Judah sent the kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman's hand: but he found her not.

38:21 Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place.

38:22 And he returned to Judah, and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place.

38:23 And Judah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and you have not found her.

38:24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar your daughter in law has played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.

38:25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray you, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.

38:26 And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She has been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he had sexual contact with her again no more.

38:27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb.

38:28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.

38:29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How have you broken forth? this breach be upon you: therefore his name was called Pharez.

38:30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

Nm12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

12:2 And they said, Has the Jehovah indeed spoken only by Moses? has he not spoken also by us? And the Jehovah heard it.

12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

1Sm25:2 And there was a man in Maon, whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel.

25:3 Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was rude and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.

25:4 And David heard in the wilderness that Nabal did shear his sheep.

25:5 And David sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get you up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name:

25:6 And thus shall all of you say to him that lives in prosperity, Peace be both to you, and peace be to yours house, and peace be unto all that you have.

25:7 And now I have heard that you have shearers: now your shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.

25:8 Ask your young men, and they will show you. Wherefore let the young men find favour in yours eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray you, whatsoever comes to yours hand unto your servants, and to your son David.

25:9 And when David's young men came, they spoke to Nabal according to all those words in the name of David, and ceased.

25:10 And Nabal answered David's servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants these days that break away every man from his master.

25:11 Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?

25:12 So David's young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.

25:13 And David said unto his men, Gird all of you on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the stuff.

25:14 But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal's wife, saying, Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to salute our master; and he railed on them.

25:15 But the men were very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields:

25:16 They were a wall unto us both by night and day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep.

25:17 Now therefore know and consider what you will do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.

25:18 Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.

25:19 And she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come after you. But she told not her husband Nabal.

25:20 And it was so, as she rode on the ass, that she came down by the covert on the hill, and, behold, David and his men came down against her; and she met them.

25:21 Now David had said, Surely in vain have I kept all that this fellow has in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained unto him: and he has requited me evil for good.

25:22 So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisses against the wall.

25:23 And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground,

25:24 And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let yours handmaid, I pray you, speak in yours audience, and hear the words of yours handmaid.

25:25 Let not my lord, I pray you, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I yours handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom you did send.

25:26 Now therefore, my lord, as the Jehovah lives, and as your soul lives, seeing the Jehovah has withheld you from coming to shed blood, and from avenging yourself with yours own hand, now let yours enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.

25:27 And now this blessing which yours handmaid has brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.

25:28 I pray you, forgive the trespass of yours handmaid: for the Jehovah will certainly make my lord a sure house; because my lord fights the battles of the Jehovah, and evil has not been found in you all your days.

25:29 Yet a man has risen to pursue you, and to seek your soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the Jehovah your God; and the souls of yours enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.

25:30 And it shall come to pass, when the Jehovah shall have done to my lord according to all the good that he has spoken concerning you, and shall have appointed you ruler over Israel;

25:31 That this shall be no grief unto you, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either that you have shed blood causeless, or that my lord has avenged himself: but when the Jehovah shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember yours handmaid.

25:32 And David said to Abigail, Blessed be the Jehovah God of Israel, which sent you this day to meet me:

25:33 And blessed be your advice, and blessed be you, which have kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.

25:34 For in very deed, as the Jehovah God of Israel lives, which has kept me back from hurting you, except you had hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisses against the wall.

25:35 So David received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to yours house; see, I have hearkened to your voice, and have accepted your person.

25:36 And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.

25:37 But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.

25:38 And it came to pass about ten days after, that the Jehovah stroke Nabal, that he died.

25:39 And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the Jehovah, that has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept his servant from evil: for the Jehovah has returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.

25:40 And when the servants of David were come to Abigail to Carmel, they spoke unto her, saying, David sent us unto you, to take you to him to wife.

25:41 And she arose, and bowed herself on her face to the earth, and said, Behold, let yours handmaid be a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.

25:42 And Abigail hasted, and arose and rode upon an ass, with five damsels of hers that went after her; and she went after the messengers of David, and became his wife.

Js6:8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the Jehovah, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the Jehovah followed them.

6:9 And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rear guard came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

6:10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, All of you shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall all of you shout.

6:11 So the ark of the Jehovah compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

Rt3:18 Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.

26:5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

Ps38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that opens not his mouth.

38:14 Thus I was as a man that hears not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

38:15 For in you, O Jehovah, do I hope: you will hear, O Lord my God.

38:16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.

Ps39:1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

39:2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

Ps39:8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.

39:9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because you did it.

39:10 Remove your stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of yours hand.

Ps46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

119:16 I will delight myself in your statutes: I will not forget your word.

Dt17:18 And it shall be, when he sits upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

17:19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the Jehovah his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

Ps119:23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but your servant did meditate in your statutes.

119:24 Your testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.leth.

Ps119:98 You through your commandments have made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

119:99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for your testimonies are my meditation.

119:100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep your precepts.

Ps119:110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from your precepts.

Ps119:130 The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.

Jr9:4 Take all of you heed every one of his neighbour, and trust all of you not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.

Jr9:23 Thus says the Jehovah, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

9:23 Thus says the Jehovah, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

9:24 But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Jehovah which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says the Jehovah.

Jr17:5 Thus says the Jehovah; Cursed be the man that trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the Jehovah.

Am5:10 They hate him that rebukes in the gate, and they detest him that speaks uprightly.

5:11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and all of you take from him burdens of wheat: all of you have built houses of hewn stone, but all of you shall not dwell in them; all of you have planted pleasant vineyards, but all of you shall not drink wine of them.

5:12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

5:13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

5:14 Seek good, and not evil, that all of you may live: and so the Jehovah, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as all of you have spoken.

5:15 Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Jehovah God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Mt7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever all of you would that men should do to you, do all of you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Mt10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be all of you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Mt10:11 And into whatsoever city or town all of you shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till all of you go thence.

Mt10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee all of you into another:

Mt12:14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

12:15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

12:16 And charged them that they should not make him known:

12:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,

12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit (o. pneuma) upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.

12:19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

Mt21:23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority?

21:24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, (o. logos) which if all of you tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

21:25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did all of you not then believe him?

21:26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

21:27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Lk20:1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

20:2 And spoke unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority do you these things? or who is he that gave you this authority?

20:3 And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; (o. logos) and answer me:

20:4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

20:5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed all of you him not?

20:6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

20:7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.

20:8 And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Mt22:15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. (o. logos)

22:16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, neither care you for any man: for you regard not the person of men.

22:17 Tell us therefore, What think you? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

22:18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt all of you me, all of you hypocrites?

22:19 Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

22:20 And he says unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then says he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

22:22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

Mk6:10 And he said unto them, In what place whatsoever all of you enter into an house, there abide till all of you depart from that place.

Jh8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Jh10:39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

Jh11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together in order to put him to death.

11:54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

Jh8:32 And all of you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Ac9:23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

9:24 But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

9:25 Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

Lk5:36 And he spoke also a parable unto them; No man puts a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new makes a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agrees not with the old.

5:37 And no man puts new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

5:39 No man also having drunk old wine immediately desires new: for he says, The old is better.

Lk10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. (o. logos)

10:40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

10:41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things:

10:42 But one thing is necessary: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Lk14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

14:27 And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sits not down first, and counts the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

14:29 Lest lest by any means, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sits not down first, and consults whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand?

14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends an embassy, and desires conditions of peace.

14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he has, he cannot be my disciple.

14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

Lk6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

6:29 And unto him that strikes you on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that takes away your cloak forbid not to take your coat also.

6:30 Give to every man that asks of you; and of him that takes away your goods ask them not again.

6:31 And as all of you would that men should do to you, do all of you also to them likewise.

Lk22:51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer all of you thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

Lk23:9 Then he questioned with him in many words; (o. logos) but he answered him nothing.

Ac4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge all of you.

Ac5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Ac18:12 And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,

18:13 Saying, This fellow persuades men to worship God contrary to the law.

18:14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O all of you Jews, reason (o. logos) would that I should bear with you:

18:15 But if it be a question of words (o. logos) and names, and of your law, look all of you to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.

18:16 And he drove them from the judgment seat.

18:17 Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.

Rm12:1 I plead to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that all of you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be all of you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that all of you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Rm12:14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

12:18 If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men.

12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.

12:20 Therefore if yours enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head.

12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1Cr3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

1Cr4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Jb28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Jehovah, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Tt3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are useless and vain.

Jb32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding.

32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Na1:7 The Jehovah is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.

Jm1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.

Jm1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

1:15 Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.

1:16 Do not go astray, my beloved brethren.

2Ch27:6 So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Jehovah his God.

Mt5:33 Again, all of you have heard that it has been said by them of old time, You shall not renounce swearing yourself, but shall perform unto the Lord yours oaths:

5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

5:35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

5:36 Neither shall you swear by your head, because you can not make one hair white or black.

5:37 But let your communication (o. logos) be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil.

Mt5:38 All of you have heard that it has been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

5:39 But I say unto you, That all of you resist not evil: but whosoever shall strike you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

5:40 And if any man will sue you at the law, and take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.

5:41 And whosoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him two.

5:42 Give to him that asks you, and from him that would borrow of you turn not you away.

Mt6:1 Take heed that all of you do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise all of you have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

6:2 Therefore when you do yours alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6:3 But when you do alms, let not your left hand know what your right hand does:

6:4 That yours alms may be in secret: and your Father which sees in secret himself shall reward you openly.

Mt7:1 Judge not, that all of you be not judged.

7:2 For with what judgment all of you judge, all of you shall be judged: and with what measure all of you mete, it shall be measured to you again.

7:3 And why behold you the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in yours own eye?

Mt7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast all of you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and return and rend you.

Mt9:16 No man puts a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up takes from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runs out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Mt19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have all of you not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they two shall be one flesh?

19:6 Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.

19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

19:8 He says unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, commits adultery: and whoso marries her which is put away does commit adultery.

Mk10:2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.

10:3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

10:4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

10:5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

10:7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

10:8 And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh.

10:9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.

10:10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

10:11 And he says unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, commits adultery against her.

10:12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she commits adultery.

Ep6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

6:2 Honour your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

6:3 That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.

6:4 And, all of you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Jm3:13 Who is a wise man and imbued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

3:14 But if all of you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

3:15 This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be implored, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Gl1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Gl6:6 Let him that is taught in the word (o. logos) communicate unto him that teaches in all good things.

Ec7:15 All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perishes in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongs his life in his wickedness.

7:16 Be not righteous over much; neither make yourself over wise: why should you destroy yourself ?

7:17 Be not over much wicked, neither be you foolish: why should you die before your time?

7:18 It is good that you should take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not yours hand: for he that fears God shall come out of them all.

2Th3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Pr18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeks and intermeddles with all wisdom.

Dn2:18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

2:19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

2:21 And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets up kings: he gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

2:22 He reveals the deep and secret things: he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

2:23 I thank you, and praise you, O you God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have made known unto me now what we desired of you: for you have now made known unto us the king's matter.

Ec7:26 And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleases God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

Pr19:13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.

Pr21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

Pr21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

Is39:1 At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.

39:2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.

39:3 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto you? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.

39:4 Then said he, What have they seen in yours house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

39:5 Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Jehovah of hosts:

39:6 Behold, the days come, that all that is in yours house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, says the Jehovah.

39:7 And of your sons that shall issue from you, which you shall brought forth, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

Pr1:7 The fear of the Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Ec12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Mt7:13 Enter all of you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

Dn12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Hs14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Jehovah are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

Mc6:9 The Jehovah's voice cries unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see your name: hear all of you the rod, and who has appointed it.

Mc7:2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

Mc7:5 Trust all of you not in a friend, put all of you not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom.

7:6 For the son dishonours the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

Hk2:20 But the Jehovah is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

Mt7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ep4:26 Be all of you angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

2Cr6:14 Be all of you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?

6:15 And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel?

6:16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for all of you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2Cr12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord three times, that it might depart from me.

12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Ep5:15 See then that all of you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ps90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

2Cr11:30 If I must essentially glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

Ps116:4 Then called I upon the name of the Jehovah; O Jehovah, I plead to you, deliver my soul.

116:5 Gracious is the Jehovah, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

116:6 The Jehovah perserves the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

116:7 Return unto your rest, O my soul; for the Jehovah has dealt bountifully with you.

Cl2:1 For I would that all of you knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in (o. agape) love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

2:4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

2:5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the (o. pneuma) spirit, rejoicing and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

2Tm2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, love, (o. agape) peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, able to teach, patient,

2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God possibly will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Ex18:17 And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that you do is not good.

18:18 You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you: for this thing is too heavy for you; you are not able to perform it yourself alone.

18:19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give you counsel, and God shall be with you: Be you for the people toward God, that you may bring the causes unto God:

18:20 And you shall teach them ordinances and laws, and shall show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

18:21 Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

18:22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto you, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for yourself, and they shall bear the burden with you.

18:23 If you shall do this thing, and God command you so, then you shall be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.

18:24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.

18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

18:26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

20:13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.

20:15 And he said, What have they seen in yours house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

20:16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Jehovah.

20:17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in yours house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, says the Jehovah.

20:18 And of your sons that shall issue from you, which you shall brought forth, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

Jr33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.

Pr8:32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O all of you children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

8:33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

8:34 Blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

8:35 For whoso finds me finds life, and shall obtain favour of the Jehovah.

Is2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

Is2:17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

Ps75:5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
